Reading Berlusconi's chart

Does the chart of Berlusconi show that astrology fails in general? Doesn't his chart show the person that we see? They say so...*) But I think that it depends on what you want to hear and see and on your knowledge of astrology. It takes a method, to start with. Just start with asking yourself what is extraordinary in the chart. The anwer is: the positions of the calling Uranus and Pluto, the combination of dramatic changes like arrests and revolutions and the combination of being 'extreme' and very controversial.

Berlusconi IS a controversial person. Almost 60% of the Italians like him and he is hated by 25% of them. The (often political) controvery that he is provoking comes back like a boomerang. Uranus and Pluto are the planets of intensity, politics, incidents and controversy. They are very important in his natal chart. Why? They don't make major (Ptomlemaic) aspects in sign or orb 5 degrees. They are what I name 'calling' planets. That means that he will express the nature of the planets at any possible level and so: that he will be extreme, controversial and radical at any possible level!
Also, Pluto (symbol of power, money, sex and politics) is the most elevated planet. (Politics and strategy above all). Uranus is semisquare the midpoint Sun/Moon (for begin motivated by change and - at worst - by sensation).
Uranus and Pluto are binovile, reflecting a sort of rejoycing dramatic changes and intense upheavel.

Because of the growing inconjunction between Sun and the progressed retrograding Uranus Silvio Berlusconi grows 'out of the box', more and more. But there is more to say about his chart, of course...

TIME OF BIRTH
I used the 6:01 chart that I found on more than one Italian site and that fits the recent events (see earlier posts. The Libra Ascendant corresponds with his appearance (representation). And those who denie the influence of Libra, Pisces Moon and the semi square Venus-Neptune should read Wikipedia. During his university studies he played upright bass and he performed as a cruise ship crooner occasionally! That was with progressed Sun conjunct Venus (planet of entertainment, fun and money). Later he also wrote the AC Milan anthem and two Napolitan song albums! But, the artistic talent is not the most important thing in the chart.
For those who cling on to the 5:40 chart: I added an asterix or mention the used time of birth where the reading fits the 6:01 chart only.

URANUS-PLUTO
The most prominent planets are Uranus and Pluto. Why? Because they don't make major aspects in sign or org 5 degrees. The combination of Uranus and Pluto is the combination of the radical politician at any kind of level. The combination makes minor aspects with the planet of communications and ideas: Mercury. Uranus is inconjunct Mercury and Pluto is quintile Mercury. Now we have extreme radical ideas and very controversial (political incorrect) opinions. The midpoint Uranus/Pluto is square his Sun, to complete the picture of a person whose life changes in a dramatic and intense way, anyhow. More controversy is announced by the rebellious and hectic Uranus semisquare Sun/Moon. He is being motivated by news, incidents, changes, adventures and tension, somehow! He just loves to provoke.
The progressed retrograding Uranus is now at 6d05 Taurus, in a growing inconjunction with Uranus that is reflecting that being different from the rest and not belonging to the 'normal' group of politicians makes him more and more controversial and causes incidents.

NEPTUNE AND SUN
Neptune is the planet rising before the Sun. Neptune is the planet of arts, media, ideology, beliefs and all that we can't touch (the immaterial world of movies, for example). It is also the planet of romance. With an oriental Neptune you want more from life than just money. Berlusconi has Saturn opposition his oriental Neptune and square Jupiter. We can see that as a reflection of the successful (Jupiter) media (Neptune) business (Saturn).
The Sun on the Ascendant of the 6:01 a.m. chart shows that his appearance draws attention and that he is likely to have a sort of a 'starring role'.

CHARACTER
Now that we know what is most important (being a person with radical ideas, wanting to make immediate changes), motivated to be in the news (Uranus). Let us see what else we notice, for example about the character. He is a Libra with Moon in Pisces and that characterizes a person with a romantic or artistic nature. An afflicted Pisces Moon sometimes is more than enough to let a person 'drift off' and 'go with the flow', even if it goes downward. DIVORCE
The rulers of Libra (Venus) and Pisces (Neptune) are semisquare and that is one of the indications for a divorce in his chart. There are enough to be sure about divorce, even in a Catholic country. (The others are Mars 112.5 - square and half semisquare - Uranus; Moon in a wide opposiiton with Saturn and Neptune)
The Sun is quintile Jupiter and sesquisemisquare (67.5) Pluto. That is a combination for self confidence and successes, wanting to 'grow' and being an authority. He is able to create his own successes (Sun quintile Jupiter). The Moon is sesquisquare Pluto and that is a pain: he has certain strict habits and a frustrating need to dominate others or to be dominated (power needs).

SUMMARY UP TO NOW
Berlusconi wants to change life (or his own life) and has radical controversial opinions, self confidence and the will to succeed with certain complicating habits and needs, being motivated by provocation and tension or sensation. It is not the chart of a docile person and it is not the chart of a person we would never hear of. It is also clear that he wants to show off, be a star, draw attention (Sun conjunct Ascendant* and square Midheaven*), but more and more in a controversial way (growing Sun inconjunct Uranus). With Uranus biquintile the Ascendant* he is a creative individualist, making his own space to be free. The afflicted Moon in Pisces sesquisquare Pluto is telling us about high demands and intense needs with power issues - behind the scenes -. And oh yes, for the sun sign (ex-)astrologers: he also has some artistic talents (he has a Sun in Libra, Pisces Moon and the semi square Venus-Neptune): read Wikipedia. *) Two Dutch astrologers said that the chart doesn't show 'loose ends' or 'the vilain'(that they were looking for) and an ex-(and now anti-) astrologer claims that the chart of Berlusconi (like that of Hitler) proofs astrology wrong.
