BIRTH CHART RABINDRANATH TAGORE Born 7th May 1861

I know nothing about Rabindranath Tagore, born 7th May 1861 at 4:02 LMT in Calcutta. He was in my database and the subtitle was: philosopher and a poet. In his birth chart, using the Astro I.D. method, I can see thát, easily, though I use western astrology. As Astro I.D. uses the positions and prominences of planets and the distances between them, rather than houses and signs, Astro I.D. is an international method!:)

Look at Sun conjunct Venus, both prominent (as they are semi square Aries Point). Look at Neptune, calling, on Aries Point!^ Twice prominent...Neptune is semi square Venus. And look at Mercury <> (Mutual reception) Mars, the end dispositors of the MC! Here we already have it all:
- a call for arts at any possible level
- a life together with estetics
- discussions, techniques

Pluto is oriental. I wondered what the meaning of Pluto here was, as Pluto is the symbol of life and death, politics, influence, prizes (and the price to pay) and power, etc.
I searched for it on Wikipedia. There I found that he also had political significance and was the first person born in India who won a Nobel Prize.

GASCOIGNE'S UPS AND DOWNS The birth chart of Paul Gascoigne, Jupiter and Saturn

Paul Gascoigne is a world famous ex football (soccer)player who probably suffers from mental disbalance and this week did an attempt to end his life. On the day of his birth (27th May 1967 in Gateshead) Sun and Jupiter were calling (for being an international star). But Saturn is calling, too, and Saturn was oriental (for the serious orientation at any possible level).

PROMINENT UPS AND DOWNS
The disbalance is between the rather depressed Saturn and the optimistic Jupiter and the fact that both are exactly 55degrees and some minutes away from the Sun that day (sort of mirroring each other, like in a Yod). A prominent Jupiter for prominent ups, a prominent Saturn for prominent downs...I wonder why doctors cannot control this?

Also the tightest aspect in his chart is Mercury inconjunct Neptune...It is an aspect for mis-communicating and for 'losing your mind'. Alcohol and drugs (Neptune) in his case did the rest, they weaken the mental situation and add more disbalance (inconjunct).
Also look at Sun quindecile (105 d) Uranus for living a tumultuous life.

URANUS AND ACCIDENTS Sad example of a tragedy

Very serious accidents often happen with Mars and Uranus on a crucial spot in the chart of the event (on the time and place of th accident). This morning in The Netherlands at about 10.30 a.m. a van hit the back side of a ridingn caravan and a little later the gass in the caravan exploded, setting the car on fire. The parents (stuck in the car) and the two little children inside died. They could not be saved by other drivers, because of the heat.

A terrible thing happened and you see the chart blow. Uranus 21d34 Pisces and Mars 27d36 Cancer. In between 24d34..That is the degree of the Ascendant at the time and place. Mars is close to the Ascendant and Uranus close to the MC. The aspects are getting tighter.

Of course, at any moent there can be an accident, a crash or an explosion, but some moments in time and place are more critical. Uranus was on the MC of the crashing ice hall in Germany at the time. Uranus was on the MC when the atomic bomb destroyed Hiroshima and at the time of an explision in Tel Aviv. The disaster in Bhopal occurred on December 3, 1984, just after midnight and you see Uranus near the IC.

Uranus op het MC of aan top in de geboortehoroscoop
Uranus on the MC in the birth charts of people often 'cause' news, shriek, people talking, changes at any level. For example: Karl Marx, Gerard Reve (Dutch homosexual author once on trial for blasphemia) and Dutch princess Margarita (who has Uranus square Ascendant, on top) who accused her aunt the Queen of actions against her ex-husband at the time.

Uranus on the MC or on top (square Ascendant) in progression or transit
Everything that happens and that is shocking (at any possible level or degree) has to do with Uranus. Transit Uranus conjunct the MC is most of the time repeating itself and signifies a hectic period in a changing life. The progressed MC conjunct Uranus is sometimes related to a the position of an outcast (liberating yourself from the past and the family destiny). And that, too, might not happen without tumultuous or even embarassing events.

BIRTH CHART KARL MARX and his Jupiter...Friedrich Engels

Karl Marx founded ...marxism (communism). He wrote 'Das Kapital' and the 'Communist Manifest. He is supposed to be born at night, at 2 a.m. on the 5th May 1818 in the German town Trier. He has the Moon oriental in the material sign of Taurus. Both Mercury and Venus are calling in his chart and Uranus is close to the Midheaven. Uranus is the symbol of the revolutionary (changing the world). This planet is inconjunct Mars and connected to the Sun in a creative biquintile. Marx was not a revolutionary person, he wrote about it...

Maybe it is nice to point at Saturn in the first house (the planet that hase the first contact with the ascendant on the day he was born). Saturn is the planet of the earth signs and symbolises conservatism, ambition and material things. It is not so strange that the battle of the classes had his interest. With Saturn conjunct the Midheaven he must have sensed and experienced the limitations (Saturn) of his position (MC). In fact, he had to be supported with money coming from Friedrich Engels.

Engels, Jupiter of Marx
Engels was born 28 November 1820. As it happens (...) with his Jupiter in a tight sextile with the natal Sun and square the Midheaven of Marx! Jupiter symbolises a.o. the coach and support. Notice that with Jupiter sextile and Neptune sesquisquare the Sun of Marx in synergie there is the combination of the fan or supporter (the believer).

BIRTH CHARTH OF GORDON BROWN A Sun and Saturn conflict...

On the 17th May 2007 I wrote about Gordon Brown:

"His Sun is inconjunct Saturn in his chart and I wonder if that is a good position for a man in charge. His ambitions might not catch up with his health or he cannot combine leadership with administrations and control. His is first of all a man with ideals (Neptune is oriental) and his calling Jupiter will make him want to travel, publish and 'be international'. Mars is now opposing to Saturn and at the same time semi sextile the Sun in his chart and sesqui square to Pluto soon. It seems there is a hard struggle going on or a lot of work to do. At the same time Jupiter is making a trine with Progressed Pluto and square to Progressed Nodes. Pluto on the other hand is squaring his Progressed Jupiter. It is easy to see the succesful combination of Jupiter, Pluto and Nodes (the party). Gordon Brown was born in Edinburgh on 20th February 1951".

Now I know that he was born at 8:40 a.m. in Giffnock.
And now there are serious doubts about his abilities and transit Saturn is opposition the natal Sun (activating the inconjunction of Sun and Saturn in his birth chart). Also the progressed Midheaven (changed sign seven months ago) is about to make contact with the Sun inconjunct Saturn (end of August till in October).
His progressed Sunsign will change in about two years time and again there will be (progressed) Sun inconjunct Saturn a year later.
