Bright sides of bad transits/progressions: Sun-Uranus

You know the song ‘Bright side of life’? If you don’t, here is the song and text (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u2UP86bciVA ). Sing along while reading this post! It is summer time (well, almost!).  The picture above is 'Fallen star' by

This post is one of a series of posts on the bright sides of nasty aspects (but only when you look at it like if you were the devil's advocate). Of course, I don’t want to laugh at heavy transits. I wouldn’t dare! Too many of them have passed in my life and most of them were rather unpleasant! It is no wonder that many of us fear the transits  and progressions of Mars, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto. It is, because they  use to mirror periods of set backs, shocks, confusion and stress. But there ARE always bright sides, tiny little insignificant sparks of light, fallen stars that may hit you when you are down. I always use music in such periods. So I included a suggested YouTube video, in every post.

Use it for transits and progressions, just to consider the bright sides. What have you learned, gained or experienced in those nasty periods?

The label  for the list is ‘Bright sides’. You find that label on the (b)right side of Astropost.

Sun-Uranus
At least, you had some excitement, hadn’t you?
With Sun-Uranus you are woken up by alarming situations. If you are a VIP you are probably mentioned in the newspapers now and there is no such thing as a moment to be news for a VIP. You could consider this moment to break free from old routine and (for example) try to dance like Mick Jagger in ‘I am free’ (knowing that you are NOT, of course): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pWFk9Dj3LsE

Some of you Sun-Uranus-period persons shock the world by sudden death. That is not my advice! Take a look at the examples and pick your way to ‘do’ Sun-Uranus. It will be hectic, like a roller coaster! When the first accelerated period of shock is over, your life has changed and you will get used to it, somehow and enjoy the free moments.

Some examples of transits and progressions Sun-Uranus:

1. My own tweet
This Uranus-Sun transit changed my life style, up to now, due to an accident that my mother had.
2. Transit Uranus opposition my husband’s Sun (an accident)

I suddenly see that in both cases we had to return home (we were in a place by the sea) and break off our holidays.

3. The article on Sun-Uranus on my site Astromarkt gives more examples:

Bright sides of bad transits/progressions: Sun-Saturn

You know the song ‘Bright side of life’? If you don’t, here is the song and text (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u2UP86bciVA ). Sing along while reading this post! It is summer time (well, almost!).  The picture above is 'Fallen star' by

This post is one of a series of posts to help you see the bright sides of nasty aspects (but this will help only when you look at it like if you were the devil's advocate:). Of course, I don’t want to make fun of heavy transits. Sun-Saturn
At least you ARE serious, aren’t you? You see a period in life ending, due to circumstances, and you are a bit depressed because of that (or you worry). It will be hard to look on the bright side of life with Sun-Saturn, but consider this…
Transits and progressions of Sun-Saturn nature help you find your way down, make you see how small and insignificant you  and your existence actually are and when Sun-Saturn aspects move on (provided that you are still here) you will look older and because of that you GET respect, even if you end up poor. Time goes bye, yes, but what if it didn’t and you had to live like in Groundhog Day?

Better now? Well, in case that you are down, really down, and need some confirmation, just see this:

Examples:
It is very inconvenient to have a sun-saturn conflict in war time (and I am serious!)

More on transits of Saturn

The progressed Sun of Conrad Murray AND the progressed Sun of Michael Jackson hit Murray’s Saturn in the same period. It was when MJ died.

Bright sides of bad transits/progressions: Sun-Jupiter afflictions

You know the song ‘Bright side of life’? If you don’t, here is the song and text (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u2UP86bciVA ). Sing along while reading this post! It is summer time (well, almost!).  The picture above is 'Fallen star' by

This post is one of a series of posts on the bright sides of nasty aspects. They are not funny, of course, and I don’t want to make you laugh. Nasty aspects are bad, so I wouldn’t dare! Too many of them have passed in my life and most of them were rather unpleasant! It is no wonder that many of us fear the transits  and progressions of Mars, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto. It is, because they  use to mirror periods of set backs, shocks, confusion and stress. Sun-Jupiter afflictions
How can it be wrong to be positive? It can, if you were tested on doping, for example. Hard aspects with Jupiter sort of challenge you to be arrogant and to overestimate yourself. But now: what is the good side? The good side is, that you ARE learning, growing and socializing (even if you had to learn the hard way). You want to be successful or famous? This is your moment. If it is not in it for you (and that is so for 98% of the nation) you CAN become fat now. That gives you the chance to expand!

More examples:

2.   More Sun-Jupiter examples:

What music would you like to feel great? I think it is higher and higher…

PS Transit Jupiter sometimes passes bye without giving notice. Use the label 'transit Jupiter' for more on that... I don't know if you should be glad:).

The bright sides of bad transits and progressions: Sun-Mars

Sun-Mars transit or progression
The positive side is:  you, at least, DO something about it, don’t you? You show your guts, also when fighting for your life or struggling in a project. You move on. You got that surgery and you didn’t mind the scars. You faced the man in you or you met a real man and now know who he is! You fight!

Example? Here is mine. Transit Mars square my natal Sun came during a ‘border conflict’ and helped me to stand up for my rights http://astropost.blogspot.nl/2012/02/transit-mars-square-sun.html

Europa's birth chart and the elections

There are elections in Europe in May and we will know the results after 10 p.m. (8 p.m. UT) on May 25, 2014, with Mars conjunct MC inconjunct Neptune (wasted energy…). There is a number of important moments for ‘the birth of Europe’, but after seeing the interaction between transits and events I think that the chart of the day that the Treaty of Rome came into force (January 1, 1958) is the real one. Studying the charts of important moments of the history of the European Union I came to the conclusion that there are no astrologers in Brussels. They manage to choose bad days for ment to be great moments.

The 1958 Treaty of Rome has Sun inconjunct Uranus in the natal chart and right now Progressed Sun inconjunct Progressed Uranus. The January 1 Sun has been subject to nasty hits of Uranus and Pluto so that the European Union fully participated in the crisis.

The Euro was introduced on a day with Sun inconjunct Saturn. If any aspect makes you fall of your pedestal, it is that one!

The Treaty of Lisbon’s Saturn was inconjunct the progressed Sun of Rome’s Treaty at the time of the ratification, mirroring the depression of 2009. The same Saturn was conjunct the Neptune of the Maastricht’ Treaty.

When the members of the European parliament first got together, the Sun was inconjunct Neptune, as if to illustrate the fading ideals, the illusions and the negative press that they would get in the future.

EUROPE’s BIRTH CHART
Let’s say that January 1, 1958 is the day of birth of the European Union. The chart has a very important Saturn, rising before the Sun and without major aspects in sign or orb 5 degrees. This ‘calling’ Saturn points at the importance of the State and of the past and of structure, while the Sun inconjunct Uranus mirrors an overdose of tension and change. Or is it a signal that the nature of the Union doesn’t match the nature of Independence, Freedom and Equality? It is also a sign of ‘being too soon’.

EUROPE NOW
The tension of 1958 has his follow-up in the progressed chart with Sun inconjunct Uranus. Again, Europeans consider the Union as a ‘stranger’, an outsider who wants to reign sovereign countries. It is in the nature of a Union of sovereign and sometimes completely different nations, perhaps.

The 11th degree of Capriocorn has been hit by the Uranus-Pluto square in 2012 and 2013, but we can see the light at the end of the tunnel. However, transit Neptune will be conjunct progressed Sun in 2015. It is a very undermining aspect that will be accompanied by the inconjunct Sun-Uranus.

ELECTIONS
No matter who chooses what, there will be a Europe after the elections and not much will change anyway. Not now. In 2018, when the Treaty of Rome is 60 years old, Saturn is conjunct the Sun and the progressed Sun will be inconjunct natal Uranus. That is a serious sign to end this post with.
