Turbulent days with Mars inconjunct Uranus

It has been turbulent days and I like to publish some charts related to this week. It is about Brexit, Nice and Turkey.

FOREIGN AFFAIRS AND THE 9TH HOUSE

Boris Johnson was appointed as Foreign Secretary and booed in the European parliament, the place where they don’t like jokes about themselves. I would have loved to see him shake hands with one of the once upon a time offended PM. Just see the color horoscope on Astro.com. It says that he is easily hurt, even though he has a stubborn strong character. Do I see Eris on the horizon? She is perfectly prominent in the chart of the man who knows how to start a fire. The ‘calling’ (=not narrowly aspected) Mercury points at the tendency to use words and for being the messenger in the 9^th house of foreign affairs. Mercury rules the 9^th house and is in the 9^th. He seems to be born for it! Even his natal Sun is in the right sign for messages (Gemini) and in the 9^th for ‘abroad’.

His Ascendant receives a transit of Neptune (inconjunct) for uncertain times and a lot of negative responses.

Transit Jupiter square his important Mercury and inconjunct natal Pholus mirror a turning point #plans and ideas.

THERESA MAY

How about Theresa May, the new PM. When I first saw her on TV I said that she might be fit for that job. Maybe it is her ‘royal’ Moon in Leo? Or could it be Sun/Moon midpoint conjunct Jupiter (increasing the motivation)? I tried a chart for 6 a.m. and it looks like this:

With Sun and Venus opposition Eris she might see a lot of jealousy. I like the Pholus opposition Midheaven aspect (for the turning point in her career) and I am curious about the narrow Saturn square Pluto. What difficulties will she meet and what attitude will come back like a boomerang? She started to fire members of the earlier government…

NICE

It was also the week of Nice. Everywhere when people come together to have fun, the less funy side of Islam comes to end it. The attack at 22h23 local time was with Mars conjunct Moon, both exactly inconjunct Uranus and Eris. The message in the chart was that there could be terror, accidents and war. Just see the examples on this site and on Astromarkt.

The combination of Mars and Uranus is that of the quick result and the short fuse and the fighters for freedom (in their own eyes perhaps). It is not fate that does it, however. It is what a person’s community and situation does with such an aspect combination. Instead of using it for terror acts, it could be used to drive hard and fast (and risk accidents). In the chart of the terror act of Nice, the Ascendant is in Aquarius, Uranus is ruler 1 and Uranus is connecting Sun and Mars.

TURKEY

Then came the coup in Turkey, exactly with a combination of Sun, Mars and Uranus in aspect. Any inconjunct or quincunx points at a wrong moment for something (in this case for rebellion). Here you see the chart:

Erdogan and Sun- Mars

A blogger/journalist in my country couldn't leave Turkey. If you want to know why, read this:

Because he has the key in hands to allow migrants to enter Europe or not, the EU permits him to prosecute anyone who doesn't agree with him. Mr Erdogan is in the news often these days. Recently he ordered that members of the parliament are no longer immune for prosecution (see the Guardian: https://www.theguardian.com/world/2016/may/20/turkish-mps-vote-lifting-immunity-from-prosecution ) and a few weeks ago the Turkish' PM had to quit because of disagreement with this President. who lives in a a palace like a sultan in the Ottoman days (it is a palace 50 times larger than the White House, see the picture).

Anyway, the question is why doesn't he want to be offended thAt much?

1.
First of all, he is a Sun-Saturn man. Many dictators have a Sun-Saturn aspect. Dictators use to demand respect. They also want to rule alone, without being disturbed by those with other opinions. It seems to me that people who want to rule others don't like others to tell them that they are or do wrong at all, as if any disagreement nibs a bit of their amount of respect. The way people on the internet use to offend others these days is rather rude, and without much respect and so even more offensive to those who have high opinions of themselves or of their leader.

2.
Second: he is a Sun-Mars conflict man. With Sun-Mars you tend to get angry easily and when you do, your enemies have to start worrying about getting hurt, as you respond immediately.

3.
Third: he has progressed Sun inconjunct Mars now. It is not a good aspect for health because many with such a progression get injured, suffer from heart attacks or have to endure some kind of surgery. In such days you are more irritable than ever. So if you have the intention to say something bad about Recep Erdogan...don't do it now.

4.
He was born with an OOB Moon. Can we predict what an OOB Moon will do? The OOB Moon rolls the dice and doesn't play by the rules (see: http://www.forrestastrology.com/resources/articles/general-astrology/215-the-out-of-bounds-moon ) With this OOB Moon conjunct Mars emotions join anger.

When you try the color horoscope for Erdogan (see Astro.com), you may see the list 'Roles you play' ending in 'Sensitivity' (easily hurt by others). This sensitivity is now highlighted and with such a power, you can pay back all those evil creatures that make nasty comments or draw dirty pictures to show how angry they are about the lack of free press (even for 16 year old teenagers). Of course, no one wants to be offended publicly and of course, it is a bit foolish to do that just before you decide to go to a nation that apparently allows the President to be in charge for the full 100% and arrest anyone who is 'against' you. Right now his Sun inconjunct Mars may cause outbursts of anger.  Warrior planets Mars is so very important in his chart already! Mars is rising before the Sun. People with Mars before the Sun are active and often are activist. They are do-ers or use their energy to play sports. Recep Erdogan used to play football and that s a good sport for someone with a prominent Mars. But now that he reached the highest position in the nation, I doubt that he will ever play these kind of games again. He is very very serious and getting more serious every day. The progressed Sun will be opposition Saturn within a year.  As he took over the control over the army and gets more and more power every day, I wonder what kind of opposition Saturn will bring. His Progressed Moon is now at the lowest level, ready to climb again.
Maybe you can predict the next steps in his career? I choose to wait a while until Mars moves on...:) And I remind you that the charts of the leader in many ways is the chart of a nation. Sun inconjunct Mars in the leader's chart isn't a peaceful aspect.

PROGRESSED CONJUNCTION SUN-JUPITER AND HILLARY CLINTON

It is almost inevitable: Hillary Clinton will be the next President of the USA. Democrats won’t vote for a Republican and many Republicans won’t vote for Donald Trump. The astrological prospects are OK, too, though there might be nasty aspects with Moon, Ascendant or MC that we don’t know of, because her hour of birth remains a secret. This limits the astrologer, but there is still a lot to see in her chart. We know that she is a very ambitious woman and we can see that in the chart. How? Now I found another interesting key to success in her progressed chart.

In the progressed chart Jupiter rises before the Sun since 1983 and that is a good sign if you want a president who is open, optimistic and with a broad orientation.

In 1983 she got an important function (http://www.politico.com/magazine/story/2015/04/hillary-clinton-2016-arkansas-116939 ) in Arkansas. That was the year that changed her life. The progressed chart shows it.

Instead of Neptune rising before the Sun since the day she was born, the progressed conjunction with Jupiter in 1983 changed her orientation. She used to be idealistic in the first place. Jupiter altered that. Jupiter is the planet of traveling, the international, success and education (the higher level). She also changed her name to Hillary RODHAM Clinton in that year.

PROGRESSED SUN CONJUNCTIONS

Conjunctions of the progressed Sun signal a very important change in the way that you continue. When you were born with Saturn rising before the Sun, your parents are of utmost importance and anything ‘classical’ or ‘official’, too. When later in life your progressed Sun is conjunct Mars (and Mars becomes the first to rise) you will have a different perspective and become more assertive, active and fiery than you were originally. You may look like a different person, from reserved to fiery.

MY PROGRESSED CONJUNCTION

The progressed conjunction of Sun and Mercury was in May 1971, marking the period of change due to marriage and changing my name, using my husband’s. There is no other progressed conjunction in my life.

FINDING THE PROGRESSED CONJUNCTION

It is quick and easy: you find the progressed conjunction in the ephemeris, taking one day for a year after birth. In my 21^st day after birth the Sun was conjunct Mercury.

CONJUNCTIONS WITH NATAL PLANETS

When the progressed Sun is conjunct a natal planet, there Is no change in orientation. It marks the start of a new period in life.

The astrological explanation of Donald Trump's poll results

With the article of Claire Chandler on Astro.com*) in mind (and even before I read that article), I am very careful with predictions and seemingly choosing sides in politics or any other fiery matter. I try to be as objective as can be, though I know that pure objectivity isn't a human thing. It is even more necessary to stick to the facts, when it comes to Donald Trump. He seems to have more enemies than friends. Yes, Donald Trump may not even be the most popular person in the world of astrology as well. Yet, he is the prime Republican candidate in the USA right now and that is interesting What in the chart shows it, I wondered. Picture this: British MP's tried to forbid him to enter the country and called him names! So they probably already know that he won't be the next POTUS. It would be so inconvenient to have to say sorry, after November. Until then, and maybe for a shorter period of time, he will be running and that makes it interesting to see why he is so popular among the Republican voters. 

Here you see his progressed chart with transits. Supportive Jupiter is on the Ascendant in his progressed chart. That is why. It is a big help for anyone and so it also helps Donald Trump, also because Jupiter transits his natal 10^th house of status and position. Furthermore, the progressed Sun is on his natal horizon (the axis Ascendant-Descendant). 

Will this last? 

Jupiter-Ascendant (in the progressed chart) is almost overdue and so is Sun-Ascendant. On Election Day, Mars will be opposition MC in his progressed chart. The polls say that running Clinton is still ahead of him (see http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/latest_polls/president/ ). So maybe the British MPs weren’t taking much risk when they called Donald Trump names. I haven’t heard much about what Republicans say about Clinton (in the European press), so perhaps they all know the results of the Presidential Elections alreadyJ. Prognosis is not just for astrologers! It is like when they choose the Chairman (or woman, in this case) of the Dutch parliament. They talked for hours and hours, asked the candidates a lot of questions and before all that someone on Twitter had already calculated the seats and told as that the winner would win as she did. So they all knew. All that talking…Donald Trump won’t mind. He has a natal Mercury Out of Bounds (and Pluto, too). That is an off side Mercury, communicating without restrictions, for those 'speaking their minds'. For the way to answer that, here is Graham's hierarchy of disagreement.

She advices not to predict negative things if you don’t want to be seen as the partner of doom (well, those are my words, but you know what I mean, I hopeJ).

USA chart November 2016 and Pholus turning point

On November 8, 2016 there will be presidential elections in the USA. The Democrats almost certainly have Hillary Clinton as a candidate, and the Republicans might have Donald Trump. In earlier posts I've said that the stars favor Hillary, mostly. Now I take a look at the USA chart to see if there will be a turning point in history in 2016.

Fact is, that we don’t really know at what hour Hillary was born, unfortunately. So perhaps the USA-chart tells us something, I wondered. You may know that I like to have a look at Pholus whenever there is change. Barack Obama wanted to bring some change. In November 2008, when Barack Obama became the first colored president of the USA*), transit Pholus was on the Sagittarius Ascendant of the USA-chart to tell us that there was a crucial turning point in history. Here is the USA chart with transits and progressions for November 2008:

In 2016, transit Pholus will be square the USA Midheaven and inconjunct the USA progressed Midheaven for another crucial turning point. Hillary Clinton would be the first woman ever to be the USA president. That is indeed a turning point.

 If she was born 8:06 her progressed Ascendant would be conjunct Pholus.

So if there is to be a 'turning point in history' in November 2016, Hillary Clinton seems to be the one to make it.

Re Obama 2008: Transit Jupiter was exactly square his progressed Ascendant and quindecile his Mercury; his progressed Sun was sesquisquare Pholus then.
