BIRTH CHART MICHELLE OBAMA She got the spirits!

I like the combination of the charts of Obama and his wife Michelle (born 17th January 1964 in Chicago). Her Jupiter is tightly trine his Sun (she is a great support to him), her Mars tightly trine his Moon (they are attracted...:).

His Mars is inconjunct her Saturn and his Saturn conjunct her Sun, with his Uranus inconjunct her Sun. The 'limitations of freedom'- combination of Saturn and Uranus are linked to her life. So maybe his carreer obliges her to limitations. She certainly won't be able to say what she thinks and feels any more! She has already found out what impact her words might have from now on. As the interaction is very tight, I am afraid that protocol and restrictions will be hard to deal with.

Michelle is an idealist and a believer (Neptune oriental) with a calling Sun and dito Jupiter. Jupiter is biquintile Neptune. You see the combination of the 'believing audience'. It could also have been the birthday of a spiritual leader! And she might be her husbands'fan!:)
Michelle is a performer and she probably loves to travel around. I suppose that her personal chart, with hob, will reveal the choice for laws (though Jupiter is a good indication, too).

It might be revealing to have a look at her chart to see if she will move into the White House. But it takes an hob to be certain, so I won't speculate about it, since there is not much to see in her transits. But her Jupiter/Pluto midpoint is related to the Sun of November 4...

13th May 1950: STEVIE WONDER

The natal chart of Stevie Wonder (born 13th May 1950 at 16h20 EST in Saginaw) is a good example of the value of crucial placements. Look at his chart.

Venus and Neptune are both crucial (on Descendant and on Ascendant). So even though the oppostion between Venus and Neptune was out of orb, the combination of Venus and Neptune is prominent and show artistic (Neptune) abilities (Venus). Neptune is tightly square the MC (so art was strongly connected to his carreer).

Singers often have a combination of Venus and Uranus and or Neptune in their charts. Venus in THIS chart is right in the middle of an out of orb square with Uranus (6d13 orb) and an opposition with Neptunue (6d7 orb). So there is a very tight midpoint combination of Venus sesquisquare Uranus/Neptune. Also, Sun is conjunct the midpoint of Venus/Uranus.

He was very young when he started his carreer (12). In 1962 the progressed Sun was square Jupiter and quintile Pluto. The importance of Jupiter and Pluto being 'hit' by progressed Sun or MC in order to be succesful, is also visible in the birth and progressed chart of Bill 'Microsoft Gates.

And...how about the midpoint yod created by the Ascendant, Moon/Venus and Sun/Jupiter?

Stevie Wonder has the Sun tightly trine Mars. I think that is a great symbol for being a producer. Also Mars is the end dispositor of the Midheaven (through Cancer, Moon Aries...etc.).

BIRTH CHART ALBERT HOFMANN The LSD-man died

Albert Hofmann discovered the psychedelic drug LSD. He was born 11 January 1906 and died 29th April 2008. I like to point at the placement of the oriental Uranus, that I often notice in the charts of those who become very old.

- Moon is calling, inconjunct Saturn

FIVE planets are drawing attention and work at any possible level to get it. Notice that Jupiter-Pluto is involved and where Jupiterand Pluto are together, succes is near. Mercury is the most prominent planet, being on the descendant (crucial). Mercury is symbol of communications and transmitting messenges.

URANUS: TO INVENT AND TO IMPROVE
Uranus is the planet of those who want to change the world, mostly to make it a better place. Uranus is also the symbol of being ahead of time (and knowing before the time is there). That is why Uranus is also connected with astrology.

Uranus is oriental in the chart of Hofmann. In my book Astro I.D. I mention several examples to illustrate the contribution of an oriental Uranus to the length of life. Hofmann is another good example. He became 102! More about getting old...

MC-ROUTING: SATURN
Aquarius (changing the world, techniques), Uranus in Capricorn, Saturn in Aquarius, Neptune in Cancer, Moon in Leo, Sun in Capricorn and...back to Saturn. Saturn is close to the MC This planet shows that administration, managing, control, hierarchy, rules and limitations, science and a certain age are part of the carreer. Hofmann was a scientist.

LSD = NEPTUNE AND CERES (DRUGS AND GRAIN)
Neptune symbolises drugs and medications. In 1938 Hofmann discovered LSD. His progressed Sun was sesquisquare Neptune then. And the progressed MC was conjunct Ceres, the dwarf planet on top of his chart. Ceres is the symbol of heirdoom and grain.
