The chart of baby girl

Here is the chart of the little princess born yesterday with in green the natal positions of her mother, Duchess Catherine (or Kate). Interesting, how two to the symbols of motherhood (Moon and Ceres) of the mother are connected to the chart of the baby. The Ascendant of the princess is conjunct her mother's Moon. The Sun of the princess is opposition the Ceres of her mother.

The chart has a Taurus Sun, Libra Moon and Cancer Ascendant with  Moon in Libra trine an Out of Bounds Venus in Gemini. It sounds like a sweet little girl. Ceres (symbol of motherhood, genes, dynasty) is also OOB and Mars is 'calling'. This is the chart of someone who will have good taste, interest in arts and energy at any possible level (sometimes none, sometimes an overload). Baby girl has a nice ladylike chart and I read that the public already likes her looks.

BTW did you know that Astro.com has a child's horoscope with a free try out edition? I tried this one and it is full of grace and kindness in the texts...:)

Moon inconjunct Uranus

Archeology in Italy: looks like astronauts:)

It is funny how I keep drawing charts with Moon inconjunct Uranus lately.  I looked at the charts of Betty Davis, Jim Bakker and George Harrison (whose chart you see on my blog Art&Astrology). They all had a tight quincunx between Moon and Uranus and it is up to us to find out what they shared:).  What is that:
- A lot of upheaval?
- The need for exciting new experiences?
- Being rather different from the rest of their family or group, involving a loss or lost contact?

All this might apply to Moon inconjunct Uranus. I think that this aspect doesn't help to keep relationships going smoothly. Is one person enough to give the Moon-Uranus quincunx the needed stimulus? Daily life gets boring when you don't have friends or 'something new' around.  I also think that you may feel uneasy or tense when you and your close ones are not 'in line' at all. With this aspect you might experience estrangement, too, feeling like an alien in the family or in the country.  Examples: Betty Davis and her daughter, Jim Bakker's son for a while... and I like to point at Gerard Depardieu's chart. He has Moon inconjunct Uranus, too. I wrote about that aspect in 'The Russian in the chart of...'  It is Depardieu's late son's birthday today. In 2003 this son decided not to see his father any more. If he was born around noon, he could have Moon inconjunct Uranus, also...

Uranus may add something 'hyper' to moods or reactions. Perhaps that is being expressed in hyper sensitive physical reactions. With the inconjunct aspect (the quincunx) the reaction is out of balance.  Uranus often includes surprise and shock. For more on inconjuncts with Uranus, check this blog.

The Russian in the chart of Gerard Depardieu

Gerard Depardieu is a Russian now. The Frenchman first moved to Belgium, as a sort of a tax refugee. Then he asked for the Russian nationality and he got it. In the natal chart Uranus is in an important position, on the Descendant, inconjunct the Moon and 'calling' (not making major aspects in sign or orb 5 degrees). Uranus is the symbol of change, controversy, rebellion and being different.

MOON INCONJUNCT URANUS
With Moon inconjunct Uranus the need to make a difference and be 'special' involves a loss. Sasstrology.com offers a complete article about the emotional detachment mirrored by Moon-Uranus. It is a long way from Chateauroux to Saransk.
With Moon-Uranus you are sort of used to be an emotional outsider. I see this aspect in the charts of observers. Example: dr. Phil and... mr. Putin. I am curious about the relationship between Putin and Depardieu, sharing a Moon-Uranus aspect! From what I write on Astromarkt I should advice mr. Depardieu not to move to Russia. They are better friends when they are apart:).

Moon in aspect with Uranus in both of the charts tells us about surprises. The relationship can be a flashing one or there are tensions at home all the time. The astrology of Marquis de Sade

The chart of the author of 'Fifty shades' is as unknown as her date of birth. Now that '50 shades of Grey' is such a success, maybe it is a good time to have a look a the chart of Marquis De Sade, the man who gave his name to sadism. He didn't only write about sadism… he practised it.

Here is more about the chart. There are a number of keys to his lifestyle. This chart has progressions (the green positions) and transits (the red ones) for his wedding day.

DOMINANCE: PLUTO
The Astro ID is like the 'special marks' in a passport. For this I look at the planets without major aspects, the planets on the angles or square AC and the planet rising before the Sun. Here we see:

Pluto on the Scorpio Ascendant
Mars rising before the Sun, square Venus-Saturn

Pluto is most prominent (angular). This placement mirrors the importance of cases of life and death, values, power and …sexuality. There is another reason for the importance of Pluto.
There is also a Golden Yod (quintiles/biquintiles) of Sun, Pluto and Midheaven, pointing at Pluto (dominance), creatively (quintiles). In the days of Marquis de Sade, Pluto was still unknown...

Second best is Mars: he is a do-er, an activist, aggressive maybe…but first of all: a man. The importance of Mars + Pluto is the importance of acts of violence and the drive to win (to be dominating).

Mars and Pluto are both in aspect with Midheaven (position, career). You might say that his intense (PLUTO) male hormones (MARS) were related to his reputation.

CHARACTER
The Gemini Sun and Virgo Moon with Scorpio Ascendant show us an intellectual person with a rather courageous or brutal way of 'doing it'. Writing pornographic sadistic stories seems to be in line with communicating (Mercury ruled Gemini and Virgo) about sex (Scorpio).

PASSION+DISCIPLINE+PAIN
Venus square Mars for passion and Saturn for the restrictions, the fear and control. With Venus-Saturn we see a marriage of convenience and broken hearts. Mars square Saturn challenges discipline. But another way to read this is: controlled (Saturn) passion (Venus). Sadism is about being in control + sex.

The tightest aspect in the chart is Moon trine Uranus, expressing the need for excitement and 'new' experiences.

I already mentioned the Golden Yod of Sun-Pluto and Midheaven. I also like to mention Sun/Moon conjunct Venus: being motivated by women, pleasure, style, beauty...

MARRIAGE AND NEPTUNE
I included the progessions for his wedding day for a reason...
When he married (May 17, 1763) there was a very illustrative aspect in his progressed chart. Progressed Sun in the 8th house (sex) was conjunct Neptune, ruler 5  (games) in the 8th house (sex). That is when it all started.

It ended after years in an institution for the mentally ill. It might have been a political choice, but it is also true that his stories were a lot more explicit and sadistic than the soft pornographic affair in '50 shades of Grey'...

The Moon-Uranus + Mars-Neptune experience

Guess what happened...
Today the Moon in Aries (1) was square my natal Uranus 5 around 16 o'clock local time. Transit Uranus in 1 was exactly square my natal Uranus. Transit Mars was exactly conjunct my natal Neptune in 7.
What kind of experience do you think that I had? I'll tell you all about it! It was an exciting mistake. (Uranus for excitement and upheavel, Neptune for shame and confusion...)

It was 'exciting'! That was because I rushed through the office, alarmed the security and was looking all over to find my big white bag with car keys and car papers. I was convinced that I left them in locker number 64, but I couldn't find the key in my purse and than I found that locker open, without the bag. Oops! Apparently I hadn't left the bag in a locker, I thought. And recently some of my coworkers had been robbed of their radio, money, bag…So I first checked to see if my car was still in the garage. Then I checked all the toilet rooms and all the rooms of coworkers (even those where I hadn't been that day). Again I checked all my drawers, the open and closed lockers and I looked under the desk.

I thought that I used 64, as usual. That was wrong. I left the bag in number 14 and the key (blue, not red, like 64) was in my little black purse, hidden between some paper stuff.

Mars-Neptune for a blooper? Anyway, I hurried home and poured myself some wine 'for the confused'.

That is what you deserve with Mars-Neptune...
