Chart of the day of birth of an American sniper

The chart of the day of birth of Chris Kyle (born April 8, 1974 in Odessa, Texas) contains the material to make a sniper. I will show you how.

Of course, not every person born that day became a sniper, but in certain circumstances and situations, with the right gender and health, they could have been that person. I’ll tell you where in the astrological positions on that day, the sniper is. The hour of birth is unknown, so that the angular positions are missing, as well as the right degree of the Scorpio Moon. But, Scorpio Moon IS a courageous moon position, as I mentioned before on this blog.

As he was born under Aries, with that Scorpio Moon, we get a Martian character, moreover because his Mars is Out of Bounds, drawing attention to activity, energy, manhood, arms, men, work, iron and all other things that are part of the astrological symbol Mars.

What more does it take to become a soldier in war times? I think it takes discipline, courage, a sense of adventure and Mars-Saturn-Pluto for the issue of untimely death. He’s got it. I already mentioned Scorpio Moon with Sun Aries; there is Mars trine Uranus and there is Saturn semi square Mars/Pluto.

It is not just because of his chart that he became the most lethal sniper in history. As a child he got his first gun and he was a hunter from that moment on. That was with progressed Sun opposition Uranus (for a change in life and lifestyle started by other persons).

He died with a progressed Sun-Uranus aspect, too. When he was murdered his Sun had progressed to the 27th degree of Taurus, inconjunct his natal Uranus. This makes me think that Sun/Moon midpoint was opposite Uranus at birth (so that his birth was in the first hour after midnight, but that is just speculation).

On the day of his death, February 2, 2013, there was also a quindecile (165d) of Progressed Sun and Transit Saturn. The Uranus inconjunct and Saturn quindecile are mirroring, by means of minor t&p’s, the sudden and unexpected event with a loss involved with a very frustrating ending.

Here you see the chart of the day of birth with progressions for February 2, 2013:

This year, 2 years after death, with transit Jupiter trine his Sun the Texas Governor declared February 2 to be ‘Chris Kyle-day’. Jupiter’s trines make a person either more confident and happy or successful, even after death.

It is a fact that the story of Chris Kyle is the story of a hero for one and the story of a murderer for another. Astrology and charts don’t judge. Charts simply show us the potentials. In the chart of the day of birth of Chris Kyle there is a potential for a sniper or a hunter and for a sports man, too. There is more in that chart and there will be even more in a chart with an hour of birth, of course. More famous people were born on April 8,1974, like a medal winning orienteering competitor and an author. It makes a difference where you were born, how you were educated and built, what you do with the potential in your chart. Kyle worked as a bronco rodeo rider, but he hurt his arm and that was also the reason why the Special Forces were his only chance to work in the army. He became a SEAL.

A Sun Aries, Moon Scorpio character (will to win) with Jupiter rising before the sun (for the international), a Mars OOB (for the importance of being a man, of arms, of competing) is now has the starring role as the main character in a film (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_Sniper_(film) . His ‘calling’ Sun (without major aspects in sign) already told us that he’d draw attention, somehow, anyhow, some day.

PS
His autobiography was published with Progressed Sun sextile Mercury – communications highlighted - in that year. Mercury inconjunct Uranus in the natal chart mirrors how his story shocked people.

The Saturn inconjunct Uranus effect

On Saturnus - Uranus, Scolari, Obama, Israel, Assad and you

The experiment 'Find the result of the match' taught me that you shouldn't want to be a coach in a World Cup match when the actual transit Saturn inconjunct Uranus hits your natal Sun. This transit hits my Jupiter and Saturn and yes: I feel liberated, now that the WC2014 is over. And yes, I was wrong about Netherlands-Brazil, underestimating the effect of Saturn inconjunct Uranus. Or was it because of that Saturn inconjunct Uranus hitting my Jupiter-Saturn? Anyway, there are enough examples of what to expect when this nasty transit hits you. Saturn is now in the 17th degree of Scorpio. Uranus is in the 17th of Aries. That is Saturn inconjunct Uranus with the midpoint Saturn/Uranus in the 2nd degree of Leo.

Unexpected and heavy loss ended the career of Brazilian coach Scolari, born November 9 (Sun 17th degree of Scorpio; Saturn conjunct and Uranus inconjunct his Sun. Maybe (I am not sure) he feels liberated now that he no longer coaches a team of players who don't seem to follow his orders anyway.

The aspect is also of importance for Barack Obama. He was born with Saturn inconjunct Uranus. Right now transit Saturn/Uranus hits his Venus and lowers his popularity rates. There is also pressure (transit Pluto inconjunct Sun). Maybe another shutdown? (see post on that)
Well, the transit doesn't become exact, like before, so maybe not. The world situation however demands full attention.

There is a conflict between Hamas and Israel. Transit Jupiter conjunct Venus and square the Ascendant and Varuna looks like in the days of Yom Kippur. Israel won. But, there is more...
Click for larger format

The Saturn-Uranus inconjunct hits Israel's Saturn, so the same old trouble hits the fundamental position and status of the nation.

Nothing much about Syria lately (except of the dozens or hundreds of young European moslims heading to the battle field). Bashar al-Assad has an important Pluto (symbol of money, power, influence and knowing the right persons). That important Pluto is now being hit by the Saturn-Uranus inconjunct.

Saturn in aspect with Uranus mirrors a situation of change with more or less freedom and independence (depending on the other aspects and not in the least: on the situation). Inconjunctions bring lack of balance. Freedom with a loss...Scolari lost. As I didn't yet value the importance of the Saturn-inconjunct-Uranus over the aspects of the match and so I was wrong. I promise never to try to 'predict' results again, if only because my brains hurt and my eyes, too. From this day on, I plan at least 14 days of a more relaxed way to deal with my sites, blogs and Twitter.

How about you? If your Sun, Moon, Ascendant or Midheaven is in the 17th degree of the capital or fixed signs, you could have to face barriers or...leap to freedom. That is when your birthday is on January 7, April 6, May 7, July 9, August 9, October 10 or November 9. When your birthday + the number of days that equal your age ends on the above mentioned dates, your progressed Sun is hit by the nasty quincunx. You might voluntarily or not say goodbye to someone or something in your life, depending on the rest of your chart and ... your situation.

Jean-Claude Juncker's Saturn and Chiron

Usually, uneasy transits and progressions with Saturn mark the end of a period, with saying goodbye and farewell. Jean-Claude Juncker however, chooses to start in a top level function in the European Union, in spite of criticism that is supposed to happen in Saturn times. Here is his chart (day of birth, transits and progressions). There is no hour of birth, but it is easy to see the importance of Saturn rising before the Sun on December 9, 1954 in Redange (Lux).

Look at his chart: transit Saturn is now square progressed Sun. As Juncker is about 60 years old, he faces his second Saturn return (time to face your age, memento mori). Progressed Mars is inconjunct natal Saturn. Transit Uranus is inconjunct natal Saturn (and trine natal Sun). He could still withdraw, but nobody expects him too. He has ambitions...But given the composition of transits and progressions, he is having hard times now. The chart mirrors more endings than beginnings. How does it feel to start this way? I guess that it hurts (see transit Chiron square natal Sun).
Click for a better view...
Saturn is the symbol of management and ambition. Saturn is important in his natal chart. If Jean-Claude Juncker was born before 18 hours (6 p.m.) Saturn rises before a ‘calling’ Sun (the Sun in a starring role). The Sun is semi sextile Saturn all day. It is the signature of a person ‘in charge’, a leader with ambition, a manager who draws attention and could tend to be an autocrat.

There are more people born on December 9, 1954. One of them is a popular Dutch comedian who was given an estimate 10-15 years left in 2010 when he was diagnosed with leukemia. The other one is a Dutch football manager. Managing to be in charge is one of the things that Sun-Saturn does. Apparently, it doesn't have to be in politics, though Phil Bryant (Republican Governor) is definitely a politician, like Juncker, who is also a conservative.

Jean-Claude Juncker is very much in favor of more Europe and doesn’t really seem to care about democracy. His answer to a No in a referendum:

If it's a Yes, we will say 'on we go', and if it's a No we will say 'we continue'. If it's a Yes, we will say 'on we go', and if it's a No we will say 'we continue'.

This man will probably become Chairman of the European Commission. This in spite of questions about his drinking habits (see Daily Telegraph). Earlier, a Dutch minister mentioned this... See the denial of Jean-Claude Juncker: http://www.lessentiel.lu/de/news/luxemburg/story/30109450

Anyway, Mr Juncker has the full support of Angela Merkel and most of the members. David Cameron*) seems to be alone in his criticism. This won’t stop Europe, …yet. Maybe it will keep Britain out of the Euro forever? There is more coming up for Europe.

There has been tension before (Uranus-Pluto square in 2012-2013) and it is a bit easier now. But in 2015 transit Neptune conjunct progressed Sun will be an undermining aspect. In 2018, when the Union is 60 years old (like Juncker now), Saturn will be conjunct the natal Sun of January 1958. That may be an important moment in history. With progressed Sun then inconjunct Uranus there will be an overdose of tension.

These kind of ‘democratic’ appointments and decissions defenitely won’t help to make the European Union more popular, meanwhile...

*) Hungarian Orban will also vote against Juncker.

The friendship in the synastry of Putin and Schroeder

Friendly soldier's greeting, somewhere in Europe
Thirty percent of the Dutch and perhaps even a larger percentage of Eastern Europeans are afraid for a next World War. That is because of the crisis in Ukrain and the possible threat coming from Russia in the Baltic region (Nato territory). Meanwhile, former German chancellor Gerhard Schroeder and Vladimir Putin are good friends. Schroeder sort of defended his friend in an interview and now he is 'under fire'. Where in the charts can we see that?

First the relationship between the charts of Putin and Schroeder.
Here is the chart of Gerhard Schröder and the transits are for the day of birth of Putin. There is more on Putin's chart and on his Sun on the Grand Square in an earlier post.
Chart of Schroeder, transits of dob Putin
When I look at the compatibility of charts, I always include the 'shared' aspects. In this case, both Schröder and Putin have a 'calling' Venus. When Venus 'calls' the ladies keep calling you:), but there is more. Venus is the symbol of diplomacy and charm. When Venus doesn't make an aspect in sign or orb 5 degrees, Venus is 'calling'. That means that you may manifest style, charm, diplomacy and perhaps a bit of vanity at any possible level, somehow and anyhow. As they both have this calling Venus, they share the same tendency to be kind to persons they like (in a special way). Venus of Gerhard is sesquisquare the Venus of Vladimir, so even though they like each other, there may be some kind of frustration because they don't always have the same preferences, even though they are 'compatible'. It is pleasant that the Venus of Putin is close to the Ascendant of Schroeder. That makes him feel comfortable and loved. So let's say that there is mutual sympathy (sometimes frustrating, but still pleasant).

Putin is a Libra, Schroeder is an Aries and that shouldn't match (if they were partners). Gerhard Schroeder's Moon is in Libra, however, and the Sun/Moon midpoint of Schroeder is close to Putin's Sun, as a sort of a compensation for their different nature.

Sympathy can't be enough to keep these VIP-politicians 'going', so what's more?

A. Putin's Pluto is exactly conjunct the Midheaven of Schroeder. There is a certain kind of authority or something that impresses Schroeder.

B. The Saturn of Putin is conjunct the Sun of Schroeder. Even though there is a barrier or something that stands in the way (like age, status), there is at least respect.

So that Putin impresses Schroeder and Schroeder is impressed, while Putin respects Schroeder.

It is a mix of liking and admiring each other. This friendship isn't liked or admired in Germany today, re the crisis in Ukrain. That is obvious, when you see the chart of Gerhard Schroeder, with transits and progressions. He is in the news (Uranus) the bad way (inconjunct) and subject to criticism. Friendship with the 'enemy' is not done.

1. Saturn on his way to square Midheaven (criticism, end of a certain status) for the 2nd time
2. Progressed Midheaven inconjunct Uranus (alienation, upheaval with a loss of status)
3. Transit Saturn is about to make an inconjunct with progressed Venus (hurt feelings)

Here is his natal with transits and progressions (click to enlarge)

Chart of the day of the switched baby

A 60 year old Dutchman, supposedly born on February 3, 1953 (2 days after the flood disaster in the Netherlands), finally got the confirmation of what he always thought. His DNA doesn't match the profile of DNA of his 'parents'. His mother once told him that he was switched in hospital (and switched back) and as he always thought that he was different, this story kept puzzling him. Soon after the death of his parents he wanted to know the truth. The hospital doesn't want to help him to find his true family, for privacy reasons. And so he remains 'different'.

In astrology Uranus is the symbol of alienation, being different and of sensational and surprising news. His chart covers the news.

1. In the natal chart the Sun is inconjunct Uranus (being different as an issue).
In the progressed chart the Sun is square Uranus and progressed Uranus.
When the progressed chart or transits repeat an aspect combination, this points at an important period in life. In this case there are nerves, there is a shock, he is in the newspapers and he is being confronted with being different, indeed.

2. Transit Saturn is inconjunct Sun and square progressed Sun  (end of a period, with loss of certainties)

3. Jupiter and Pholus are in aspect with progressed Mercury (turning point, being right, confirmation)

The real son of the family was perhaps born on the same day, or a couple of days sooner or later. Maybe the man involved was born on one of those days, instead. He has the same problem, but doesn't even know yet.
All others born on February 3, 1953 were probably given to the correct mother. They also have that Sun inconjunct Uranus aspect in their charts. The theme of alienation and/or being different than the rest might be the theme of their life and they all are or were confronted with that sooner or later in the period starting 6 months ago, more or less shocking, depending on their situation and on their time of birth.

 I have some examples:
a.  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Savvas_Tsitouridis (a politician who resigned two times after a scandal)
b. a football trainer in Germany (born in Yugoslavia)
c. an Austrian author

And not one of them was changed at birth...

PS James 'Whitey' Bulger, the brother of a USA democratic senator, was sentenced to 2 times life in jail + a few years for leading a murderous gang. He is in his 80s now. He was born with Sun exactly inconjunct Uranus and definitely not like the rest of the family.

Bob Geldof and a lot of Uranus

Today the management of Bob Geldof cancelled performances in small towns in my country because of lack of interest (not enough tickets sold). That is interesting! Look at the chart. Here is a Sun-Uranus aspect working again! Uranus is the symbol of sudden changes, sometimes disturbing, sometimes exciting. The houses involved are 2 and 8 (the money axis).
Click to get a larger picture...
Transit Saturn (8 Scorpio) is sesquisquare Progressed Moon (23.6 Pisces) in the second house (worry)
Transit Uranus (ruler 2) is opposition Sun (shock, surprise, incident)
Transit Uranus is also sesquisquare AC/MC midpoint (fundamental changes)
Progressed Sun is inconjunct Uranus (and this aspect will be more and more important; a period of life with unbalancing changes)

The fact that the natal chart is Sun square Uranus, increases the importance of the aspects between Sun and Uranus right now (T Uranus 180 Sun and 135 AC/MC, P Sun 150 Uranus). There is a lot of Uranus and what happens here seems relevant for the house that Uranus rules (the second house, with Aquarius on the cusp). The second house is the house of income and public (V) appearances (of X). The axis 2-8 is the money axis. No show, no income, surprise!
The other day I reported about a nasty hot water incident with Transit Uranus opposition Sun. No hot water here (I hope), but a public cold shower, working both ways. His fans are not pleased...and find it arrogant.

On the other hand there is the news that Bob Geldof will be granted the Freedom of the City of London prize, but not for the music. It will be granted for what he did, for example for Live Aid, on September 16. It is not the first time that he's being honored. See http://www.canterburytimes.co.uk/Bob-Geldof-granted-Freedom-City-London/story-19772612-detail/story.html

Transit Uranus sees to it that your name is being mentioned (in the papers, if you are famous enough): you are news. Bob Geldof is also news because he told the press that next year he will be a rock star in space! That is extra-ordinary, exciting and so: very Uranus! So much more than rocking in Purmerend or Dordrecht! I hope that he left the Uranus warnings safely behind when he goes up.

TALENT
Just for the record:

Venus (ruler Libra Midheaven) is square Moon and semi square Neptune.  The Moon is novile Midheaven.
That is a complete astrological pattern of artistic talents, like the majority of artist’s charts have (see Art&Astrology).

Astrology of Alfred Dreyfus' case

In some cases 'good' and 'fortunate' aspects or ' benefics' like Jupiter don't seem to help. Or do they?
I found the case of Alfred Dreyfus (October 9, 1859), whose worst and better days were reflected by a variety of aspects.  Those aspects don't seem to give a simple and clear answer to the question: what happened and was it nice? After studying the astrology case of Dreyfus, I think that :
a. transits and progressions of/with prominent natal planets are more important than other transits and progressions
b. trines and Jupiter are not always beneficial at first sight (but they are, given the circumstances)

Join me in the study!

DREYFUS CASE
It was in the 19th century in France when Alfred Dreyfus was accused of treason. In fact he had been framed. It was easier to blame him, because of Anti-Semitic sentiments (Dreyfus was Jewish).

Here is the chart with transits and progressions of the day of the arrest:

There is transit Neptune trine the Sun and Transit Jupiter opposition progressed Midheaven with transit Uranus inconjunct Progressed Ascendant on the day of his arrest. A trine, Jupiter and that inconjunct Uranus... It looks as if the latter was the most important. He lost his freedom and it took 7 years to be freed of all charges. How did the trines and Jupiter 'help'? He was supported by Emile Zola who started an international campaign. Zola's Jupiter was in hard aspect with Dreyfus' midpoint Sun/Moon. Dreyfus' Mercury was opposition the Sun of Zola, who set the spotlights on his case. They shared a Sun-Neptune aspect (Zola the sextile, Dreyfus the quatronovile).

NATAL CHART
His chart corresponds with what we know about him.
a. He was a soldier.  We see that possibility in the positions of Mars and Saturn.
Mars rises before the Sun for orientation on arms, activism, action and energy. Before Mars is Saturn and Saturn is 'calling' (duty, responsibility and hierarchy at any possible level). The combination of Mars and Saturn is the combination of discipline (and being disciplined).
b. He lost his freedom.
Both Saturn and Uranus don't make major aspects in sign or orb 5 degrees.  As these planets are what I name 'calling', the issue of 'breaking free' and 'restricted freedom' will be demonstrated at any possible level, somehow and anyhow.
c. Commotion and upheaval were definitely part of his career (Uranus-MC), but on the other hand he also apparently was an outsider (Uranus) among the officers.
d. In my opinion a distance of 127.5 degrees between objects in the chart, is an important distance. In this chart that is the distance between Sun and Uranus. The Sun-Uranus combination is nice for an individualist, but in a group it is often difficult not to become 'the outsider'.
e. Sun is quatronovile Neptune.
f. Mercury is quatronovile Neptune, too! There are many cases of Mercury-Neptune accusations on this blog. See the links.

A quatronovile is 4x a novile and 160 degrees. A trine is 3x40 degrees. Noviles are supposed to be 'harmonious' aspects. I think that harmonious aspects refer to smooth relationships between objects in the chart.

OCTOBER 15 1894: arrest
1. Sun-Neptune
As quatronoviles are 4x40 and trines are 3x40 they are suppused to be 'friendly', 'easy' or 'harmonic'. Use the labels to find examples of the contrary! Trine and noviles, sextiles and binoviles or quatronoviles make it easy to relate one planet to another, or in this case: the Sun and Neptune. It makes it easy to be seen (Sun) in a diffuse light (Neptune). This can be done as a hero or an angel. It can also be done the negative way.
That happened when transit Neptune was trine his natal Sun. It was easy to place him in a negative light. This transit resonated the 'sound' of Sun quatronovile Neptune. He was being framed with transit Neptune trine Sun.
2. Progressed Ascendant inconjunct transit Uranus
Inconjunct (loss) Uranus (freedom).
3. Progressed Midheaven opposition Jupiter (is this fair? that is the question of opposition Jupiter)
Jupiter symbolizes support. He got support. Emile Zola even risked prison for him! Zola's Jupiter is semi square the midpoint Sun/Moon of Dreyfus and that helps!

Maybe, if there was not Jupiter-Midheaven things had been worse for Dreyfus and he would have been convicted without anyone asking questions. And maybe even the trine of Neptune helped:an idealist and artist voluntarily helped him. Neptune, at best, is the symbol of idealism, art, belief and all that we do without gain.
Remember that Uranus is 'calling' in the natal chart! That increases the importance of transits of Uranus.

SEPTEMBER 19, 1899
He was pardonned and released out of prison on September 19, 1899. It is nice for the case of astrology that that was the day that transit Uranus was exactly conjunct his Midheaven. He got his freedom back, conditions changed and of course he was in a nervous state. The transit of Uranus was so important for Dreyfus because in the natal chart Uranus is opposition Midheaven. It means that something that is already an issue in life, is being activated.

JULY 13, 1902: free of all charges
Watch the trine of transit Jupiter with natal Sun! That is a classical happy transit. This transit was leading! You see, there is also transit Pholus inconjunct Progressed MC, symbolizing a turning point in the development of the career, with a loss involved. He could return to the army, the place where he had been framed. (Pholus was in hard aspect with transit Node and transit Chiron). What he lost were more than 7 years of his life, spent in very nasty conditions. The pain is illustrated by transit Mars sesquisquare Midheaven. But Jupiter ruled!

SO

When he got back all that he lost, transit Jupiter was trine the Sun. Jupiter rules the 10th house.
When he was arrested there was P MC opposite Jupiter, so P IC conjunct Jupiter.

When he was arrested, there was Neptune trine Sun.
In the end - free at last, cleared of all charges - he had the confusing transit of Neptune opposition Sun/Moon midpoint. He got the rank of Major later, but his health had suffered because of the years in prison.
