Charles Manson appeals again

Charles Manson again tries to get out of prison: he appeals, even though his lawyer says that he is now totally institutionalized. I have written about Manson and Sharon Tate before (see links), but that was in 2008 and 2009. Meanwhile, you learn and see more (at least, that is what I hope)... So, here is another reading.

First of all:

Charts don’t mean destiny. Charts are telling us how to deal with the challenges of life (your mental health!, gender, genes, social circumstances and culture). There is no need to identify yourself with Manson, just because you were born on the same day or hour. It is what you do with the chart position, what you make of it, given the circumstances! I couldn't find a celebrity born on November 12, 1934 as an example of an alternative way to deal with the same kind of aspects.

Anyway, this is the chart with transits and progressions for the fatal day: August 9, 1969.

Charles Manson got tools to become the leader of a gang. He managed to break free from the social circumstances of his parents’ home. He also had the tools to make a mash of his life, ending up in jail. What astrological themes are highlighted in his chart?

1.  JUPITER
Jupiter is the most important planet in the chart of Charles Manson. Jupiter is on an angle and Jupiter rises before the Sun. Usually this is an indication for confidence, conviction and the importance of having social successes. In a way, considering his social background, there was a period when he ‘made it’. He had followers and he had influence.

2.   MERCURY
Mercury is angular, pointing at the importance of communications and opinions.
Together, the importance of Mercury and Jupiter increase the power of communications. He has written several song texts (see here: http://leeaaron.tripod.com/manson-lyrics.html)  And it seems that he gets thousands of letters of people who want to become a member of the Manson family.

3.  MOON
The elevated Moon in Aquarius (square Ascendant and conjunct Northern Nodes) points at the importance of moods, needs, habits and family. His gang was named the Manson Family.

Charles Manson’s chart is not easy. He has Sun, Mercury, Venus and Jupiter in Scorpio. And all(!!!) of his planets are heavily afflicted!  The tightest aspects are Moon square Mercury and Mars conjunct Neptune. The first (Moon-Mercury) describes a conflict between sense and sensitivity or at worst a habit of lying. The second (Mars-Neptune) can easily lead to using and/or abusing drugs. There is almost no harmonious aspect, it is all struggle, trouble and fighting, except for Venus sextile Mars (passion, and that doesn’t help much in this case). With Sun square Saturn in Aquarius (ruled by Uranus) and Sun quatronovile Uranus we see a double Saturn-Uranus theme, mirroring the issue of restricted freedom and the will to break free.

(…)

CRIME

Charles Manson had been in jail a few times before he got life. Crime is hidden in the details of the chart of the specific hour and place:

1. In the chart of the famous Dutch drugsdealer Klaas Bruinsma, Uranus and Neptune are very important. So it is in the birth chart of Charles Manson. Mars is conjunct Neptune and semisquare Uranus for being explosive under the influence of drugs. The combination is repeated several times in midpoint combinations.

2. Sun/Moon conjunct Lilith? Has this motivated him to enter ‘the wild side’ of life?

3. Midpoint AC/MC is sesquisquare Uranus and square Pluto. This is indicating a sudden transformation of conditions (like an arrest).

Also:

- Saturn opposition the midpoint Mars/Pluto mirrors the issue of unnatural death. This midpoint combination can’t be used for judging, because it is in the charts of victims and in the charts of killers or witnesses. It also takes more than just one midpoint combination (and situations!) to ‘activate’ this Mars/Saturn/Pluto issue.

- Jupiter, ruler 8, is quintile Midheaven (this points at getting away with it a bit...he was allowed to live but got life in jail). Today he will find out if this will be until he dies.

- Sun sextile Midheaven makes him 'visible' and made it probably more easy to manifest as a leader.

AUGUST 9, 1969

On the day that Sharon Tate and her guests were brutally murdered by members of the Manson family, transit Pluto was inconjunct the Progressed Midheaven of Charles Manson. An inconjunction of Pluto sometimes mirrors the price that you have to pay (the consequences).

Here is the chart with transits and progressions for now:

BIRTH CHART OF CHARLES MANSON now that they are digging

CHARLES MANSON
Now that the police is digging to find more victimes of the Charles Manson group, I thought it was time to translate my reading of the chart of Charles Manson, a man who had many followers (5 midpointcombinations with Jupiter and Neptune!) who did all he wanted and more. He never seems to have killed himself. In jail he devoloped into a writer and a singer. I like to show you the effects of his birth chart (12111934 164000 EST Cincinatti). The most significant observations of this chart are these:
- there is no harmonious aspect at all (a hard life and character),
- Vulcanus on the Ascendant and square Moon (unusual violent aproach).
- Uranus/Neptune with Mars (for the influence of drugs,)
- Sun/Mars/Pluto 3 times (the theme of using and abusing force is strong in his life).

Circumstances and situations directed the man with this chart right into the arms of crime.

ASTRO I.D.
Pluto, Mercury and Jupiter are on a crucial place in his chart. Jupiter also is the oriental planet (international, pubishing, conviction).
The Moon is high above, conjunct Northern Nodes (relationships with females or family on top)
These four prominent positions point at a great vocabulary, and successes. Considering his awfull background and family life (mother alcoholic, father unknown), in a way he made it. He had followers and influence.

But the closest crucial placemant is that of Vulcanus, conjunct Ascendant. And you also see Pallas there.

QUICKSCAN
50% of his placements is in watersigns. Watersigns are easy to be seduced, they go with the flow. But Charles Manson had 40% in Scorpio. You can hardly consider Scorpio weak. It is a fixed sign. Keywords for Scorpio are: to defend, all or nothing, reorganising, reproduction, challenge and problem.

You show your Scorpio sun :
- by making life difficult for yourself
- having high demands on yourself and others
- not avoiding challenges
- showing courage
- wanting to be the strongest (mentally and/or physically)
- be the last man/woman standing
- if you boldly go where no one would go if he/she was not a Scorpio
- to take the lead when things get difficult
- to want to be a winner (you hate loosing)

Charles Manson has Sun, Mercury, Venus and Jupiter in Scorpio. And all(!!!) of his planets are heavily afflicted!. There is no harmonious aspect, it is all struggle, trouble and fighting. But the tightest aspect Notice Sun square Saturn (for ruling on your own and for the disadvantages of your own you). It is an aspect that he shares with Chávez, and Osama Bin Laden. Saturn in Aquarius (ruled by Uranus) adds the theme of limited freedom and resistance against it.

VULCANUS
Maybe you don''t believe in the existence of Vulcanus, but I see Vulcanus every time that there is exceptional public violence. In the chart of Charles Manson Vulcanus is tightly conjunct the Ascendant and square Moon (1d of orb): unusual (Moon afflicted) violence (Vulcanus). It is the first thing that comes to mind when you hear the name - Ascendant - of Charles Manson. His birth chart is not a pleasant birth chart. The radix shows a life full of doubts, crime and fighting. There is no harmony in this chart. But with Mercury and Jupiter on a prominent spot you can learn fast and communicate succesfully. It is a pity that the midpoint is square Vulcanus and Moon again...And Moon square Vulcanus shows the need of violence.

URANUS-NEPTUNE
In the chart of the famous Dutch drugsdealer Klaas Bruinsma, Uranus and Neptune are very important. So it is in the birth chart of Charles Manson. Mars is conjunct Neptune and semisquare Uranus for being explosive under influence. The combination is repeated several times in midpoint combinations.

HOW ABOUT ART?
Intriguing is that the Moon, the Midheaven and the Northern Nodes are in a sabian symbol (Janduz) of...artistic ideas. Here is the link to his music.

MIDPOINT
Sun with Venus/Saturn, Mars/Uranus, Mars/Pluto, Uranus/Neptune and Neptune/Pluto
Moon with Sun/MC, Mercury/Jupiter, Mercury/Node, Mercury/ASC, Venus/MC, Saturn/MC, Node/ASC
Mercury with Moon/Uranus, Moon/ASC, Venus/MC, Jupiter/Pluto, Uranus/Node, Uranus/ASC, Node/ASC
Venus with Mars/MC, Neptune/Pluto and Neptune/MC
Mars with Moon/Uranus, Moon/Pluot, Mercury/Pluto, Jupiter/Pluto, Uranus/Node, Pluto/Node, Pluto/ASC, Uranus/Neptune
etc.etc.
but very important: SATURN = Mars/Uranus=opposition MARS/PLUTO (a midpoint yod) =Uranus/Neptune = Neptune/Pluto

I will use some of the interpretations of the midpoint combinations to explain the violent impact.

Mars/Pluto/Ascendant: Fanatic aproach, enormous expression of energy bumping with the outside world. Sometimes violent relationships.
Uranus/Pluto/MC: radical change of profession or a professional radical. Born to be wild.
Uranus/Pluto/Node : Sudden change of social group, rebellion against group codes.
Mars/Saturn/Uranus: Suddenly no more energy, burn out, heavy accident or complicated surgery, death that strucks you.
Mars/Saturnus/Pluto: Exhaustion, using or abusing violence, will to conquer resistance
Pluto/Ascendant/MC: A fanatic, fascinating personality

There is a 3-fold combination of using (Mars) violence and influence or force (Pluto): Sun/Mars/Pluto. It says that there is a very strong energy and drive and that this person is a (sexual) powerfull man.

TODAY
The excavations in a certain area are being done during transit Uranus sesquisquare the natal Jupiter of Charles Manson. This is a 'Thank God' construction for a positive change (but I don't know in what way). Soon transit Saturn will be inconjunct his progressed Sun and semisquare his progressed Mars and that might not be good for his fysical health.

Chart of Lynette Fromme and the question 'why'

Lynette Fromme, the 'girl who almost killed President Ford', the woman who was a member of the Charles Manson family, is scheduled for parole after almost 34 years in prison. This is her natal chart with progressions and transits.
There are a few astrological explanations for the kind of life of Lynette Fromme:

1. Elevated Uranus semi square Pluto,
2. the number of sextiles,
3. Jupiter quintile the angular Neptune square Midheaven and
4. the tough tightest major aspect: Mars square Saturn.

These observations tell us about (1) radical changes and arrests, (2) the choice for the most easy or lazy way, (3) the fan and follower,(3) crucial importance of addiction and (4) the difficulties to restrict anger.

NEPTUNE
Neptune holds the most important position in the chart of Lynette Fromme (on the Ascendant, rising before the Sun and square Midheaven). The negative side of the symbol of Neptune is addiction and drugs. This colors the chart of Fromme and this was of major influence in her life and related to Sun, Moon, Mars, Jupiter and the angles of the chart! (Neptune is 15 degrees from the Sun, 112.5 degrees (square + half semi square) from the Sun, septile Mars and quintile Jupiter. Neptune is conjunct Ascendant and square Midheaven.)

URANUS+PLUTO (RADICAL CHANGE)
When people meet and share a complicated aspect (in life or chart) they join forces and/or weaknesses. Lynette Fromme's radical Uranus-Pluto combination is corresponding with the important Uranus-Pluto combinations in the chart of the man that she adores: Charles Manson (click on his name for more about Manson and his followers on this blog or go to Astromarkt for a reading and drawing of his chart.
His Uranus is opposition her Sun. Charles Manson has Uranus square Pluto (she has the semi square): they shared a 'generational aspect' of the revolutionary and radical kind. He is a Scorpio (ruled by Pluto) with Moon in Aquarius (ruled by Uranus). With his Uranus semi square and Pluto sesquisquare AC/MC he is all in all the revolutionary man who will change her life. Also his important Jupiter on the Descendant is conjunct her Sun/Moon. He met her when she was depressed and helped her when she was homeless. Later she kept supporting Manson (see link to YouTube below). Jupiter is the symbol of support.

The present transits of Pluto with Sun and Uranus is triggering the existing natal combination of Sun, Uranus and Pluto now that she might go back home (wherever that may be). The transit bring the attempt to murder Gerard Ford in mind. In those days there was a transit of Uranus...

On September 5, 1975 she tried to kill President Ford during the transit of Uranus and Saturn. Those who come on this blog more often will immediately see the combination of restricted freedom (Saturn+Uranus). It was the end of freedom. The transit mirrored the existing combination of aspects with the Sun in her natal chart.

- Transit Uranus was trine progressed Uranus on that day,
- Transit Uranus was conjunct her natal Sun (with 50m orb; Sun trine Uranus in the natal chart - out of sign-) and
- Transit Saturn was square her natal Sun (14m orb; Sun sextile Saturn - out of sign- in the natal chart).

The solar return chart of her birthday of 1974 shows Mars exactly conjunct Midheaven and conjunct Uranus. Mars-Uranus: quite a symbol for an assassination attempt. Transit Uranus was conjunct her Sun in 1975 and that is again reflecting sudden change (with possible controversy and rebellion).

SEXTILES
The number of sextiles in her chart (there are 5) tells me that she may have been an activist and full of aggression, but that she also tended to go for the easy way. She was a drop out, an alcoholic and drugs addict and larger parts of her life have been spent in jail, inactive in society and unable to improve her position in society or to make her own choices.
Sextiles don't make it easy to be ambitious or independent. Sextiles represent the 'easy way out' and sometimes in certain situations that way seems to be criminal (in the eyes of the nativity). Click to see another example of the possible effect of the sextile.

FOLLOWER
Fromme chose to be a devoted follower. Her angular Neptune is quintile Jupiter. The combination of Jupiter and Neptune is the combination of the devoted follower. Neptune is square Midheaven to illustrate the negative effect of addiction and devotion for her position in society. Neptune colored her chart and life. When she started using drugs and alcohol the progressed Sun was semi sextile Neptune. The solar return chart valid for the year 1967 (when she met Charles Manson) had Neptune and Mercury on Midheaven and Jupiter was on the Descendant. That is when her devotion to Manson started. She had run away from home in 1963 with progressed Sun semi sextile Neptune.

MARS SQUARE SATURN
There are more very tight aspects. Mars square Saturn is the tightest hard aspect
This aspect symbolizes serious hurt/pain and death or separation from a man as an issue; Mars rules the 7th house op partnership. Mars square Saturn teaches the nativity how bad it is to be aggressive, the hard way if necessary. It is difficult to control anger with Mars square Saturn... "There comes a point where the only way you can make a statement is to pick up a gun." That is what she stated after her attempt to kill the President.

See the (dated) interview with Lynette Fromme, defending Charles Manson's innocence...on YouTube. She looks nice (Venus, symbol of beauty and charm, is half semi square Sun/Moon and AC/MC).

BIRTH CHART OF SUSAN ATKINS

No parole for Susan Atkins, who is dying due to brain cancer now. Susan Atkins is a multiple killer, member of the Charles Manson-gang and one of the murderers of the pregnant Sharon Tate (on August 8, 1969). She said she thought Charles Manson was Jesus...Few people will empathize with this woman. She spent almost 40 years in prison, since October 1, 1969.

Susan Atkins was born May 7, 1948 in San Gabriel at 3 minutes past midnight, so tells me my Astrolab database. In her chart you see Chiron on the Midheaven, an oriental Moon and no placements in water. So she did not have much compassion and her own needs (Moon) come first always (oriental position). And that her youth and her family or caretakers (mother) were of prominent influence. When her mother died and her life changed from that of a middle class girl into a wanderer her progressed Sun changed sign. That was in 1962.

SUSAN AND CHARLES
Charles Manson is born November 12, 1934, 16h40 EST Cincinatti. His Sun is tightly conjunct the Midheaven of Susan Atkins. As his Sun is square Saturn, his Saturn is square her Midheaven, so that he brightened her destination (MC) and made her famous and... So that he had a bad influence on her position in life.
Or did she have a bad influence on his life? Both have Sun square Saturn (they share Sun square Saturn). Both had a bad start in life.

Chart of Atkins, position of Manson on the outside

SUN SQUARE SATURN (and biquintile Neptune)
Susan Atkins’ Sun square Saturn is one of her most tight aspects. She also has the MC square Mars/Pluto and Mars/Saturn so that the issue of unnatural death is linked to her position in society.

Susan Atkins' parents were alcoholics. Her mother died young from cancer. And that is how Susan Atkins will end her life, too. See Sun square Saturn and biquintile Neptune: the combination of illnesses (Sun, Saturn and Neptune).

MARS SEMI SQUARE NEPTUNE
This minor aspect in the chart of Susan Atkins refers to use and abuse of drugs and medication and to possible crime. I did a study (click here, but...it is in Dutch) about the issue of crime in the charts of criminals, sollicitors and attorneys and I found Mars-Neptune connections in most of them.

IS THIS JUPITER?
Now Susan Atkins is terminally ill. In June, Atkins' attorney, Eric P. Lampel stated that Atkins condition had deteriorated to the point that she is paralyzed on one side, can only talk "a little bit" and can't sit up in bed without assistance, says Wikipedia. And the judge did not let her go out of jail. Would not you expect Saturn or Pluto transits? Instead there is transit Jupiter trine her natal Sun. Most of the time this transits is beneficial, so I really wonder what Jupiter is doing:)

Jupiter is also opposition her progressed Midheaven. Jupiter is the symbol of the judge. This judge judged against her goals but maybe her life changed for the better, somehow. Jupiter is also the symbol of a doctor. It always takes circumstances to judge a transit...

Solar return chart

SOLAR RETURN AND NEPTUNE
In her solar return chart Neptune is ruling the 8th house of life and death and Neptune is conjunct the Descendant. Saturn is close to the ascendant in the first solar return chart house. And nobody doubts that this will be Susan Atkins' final year on earth.

PROGRESSIONS
This corresponds with the progressive chart. Last year her progressed Sun was square progressed Saturn, four years ago square natal Neptune. Also the Moon is progressing to a square with both natal Neptune in the 8th house and progressed Neptune in the 6th. One transit with Jupiter cannot undo all of these bad signs.

*) Chiron on the Midheaven links the 'wounded healer' to the position in life. Chiron in my eyes is also the ferryman (the symbol of the person who brings you to the 'other side), but that is wrong (please see the commments) and Chiron is the centaur (a dangerous creature when drunk, but mostly seen as 'the wounded healer').

INTERESTING
The reading of the chart of Goeie Mie, a historical female serial killer in Holland

Chart of Sharon Tate raising questions about trines, Venus and Jupiter

I was in the middle of translating the reading of the chart of Charles Manson for my site Astromarkt. Then I noticed an article on CNN about the Manson family and their demands for parole. The murder was 40 years ago now. In May of this year there will be another attempt to free Susan Atkins (who has a brain tumor). And the parole will probably be denied, again.

I wrote about the birth chart of Susan Atkins, last year. And now I wondered if their was an astrological link between the charts of Susan Atkins and Sharon Tate. The killer is Charles Watson, but Susan Atkins held Sharon Tate down so that he could stab her. She participated in the killing.

I found a lot of trines. They were abundant in the chart of Sharon Tate. She and Susan Atkins share a grand trine. And their charts are connected by trines, too.

First Sharon Tate's chart:

Sharon Tate's chart has the Moon, Venus, Mars and Jupiter without Ptolemaic aspects in sign or orb 5 degrees. These are the planets of being a woman, of having success and of enjoying life. She has a grand trine of Sun, Saturn and Neptune, tightly. The grand trine is considered to be fortunate. And of course, Sharon Tate was a beauty, she had success and money.

The only thing is that Mars is biquintile Pluto and 157.5 (135+22.5) degrees from Saturn. Saturn is sextile Pluto. Mars-Saturn-Pluto is the combination of the danger of untimely death.

CONNECTION
The connection with Susan Atkins is found in shared aspects and progressions of Saturn and Pluto.

A. SHARED ASPECTS
Sharon Tate had Sun trine Saturn. Atkins has Sun square Saturn.
Sharon Tate had Sun opposition Pluto. Atkins has Sun square Pluto.
Sharon Tate had Mars semi square Neptune. Atkins Mars square Neptune.
Tate had Sun trine Neptune. Atkins Sun biquintile Neptune.

B. 9 AUGUST 1969
In the year before her death, the progressed Sun of Sharon Tate had changed sign, to indicate a different life style (maybe as she was pregnant). Her Sun had just been square Uranus. This is a signal that her life changed in a sudden way, related to 'life and death'. The aspect had occured already. But it says: sudden transformation related to 'life and death'.

Her Ascendant had progressed to the 14th degree of Leo, conjunct the natal Saturn/Pluto of her killer. The progressed ASC of Atkins was conjunct the progressed Pluto of Sharon Tate, who had progressed Saturn and Pluto close together. Atkikns and the victim share Sun-Saturn and Sun-Pluto aspects and the progressed angles are conjunct each others' Saturn-Pluto.

C. 22ND DEGREE, BLACK MOON AND INCONJUNCTION
The 22nd degree is not a fortunate degree. The Black Moon seems to show the dark side of the moon. And the inconjunction reflects losts and losing. These 3 are relating one chart to another.

The Ascendant of Sharon Tate is in the 22nd degree of Cancer, inconjunct the Black Moon of Atkins (in the 22nd of Aquarius) and inconjunct her own Venus in the eight house (perhaps an indication for the disproportionate way to die by the hands of a woman).

QUESTIONS
When I studied the chart of Sharon Tate, I was surprised for several reasons:
- They say that a trine is a harmonious aspect. Sharon Tate had Sun and Mercury trine Saturn, Uranus and Neptune. She had a grand trine of Sun, Saturn and Neptune.
- They say that Jupiter on the Ascendant brings you luck. In fact, the study of Ken Gilmore showed that Jupiter on the Ascendant is a rather fortunate placement. Sharon Tate had Jupiter on the Ascendant.
- They say that Venus in the eight house helps you to die the soft way. Sharon Tate was stabbed to death by a fanatic follower of Charles Manson. And so was her unborn baby.

And how about synergie?
- They say that Venus means love and sympathy, but the Venus of Sharon Tate square the Midheaven of Susan Atkins didn't help much.
- They say that a Mars-Jupiter combination is very productive and stimulating, but how about Sharon Tate's Mars conjunct Susan Atkins' Jupiter?
- Sharon Tate's Uranus and Neptune were trine the AScendant of Susan Atkins, who was under the influence of drugs.
- Atkin's Chiron (the healer) was trine the Ascendant of her defenseless victim.

Trines sometimes seem to make it easy to die (the hard way). Venus is not always nice. Jupiter doesn't always protect you. And nice trines in synergy don't seem to mean a thing, sometimes.

MEETING THE WRONG PEOPLE AT THE WRONG MOMENT
Also read the article on Astromarkt.net about meeting people at the right (or wrong...) moment. Victim and killer met when they both had a combination for hard confrontations with others in their progressed charts. And they happened to have 'hard confrontations' in their natal charts (Sun-Saturn-PLuto), too.

How to explain that? I wish I knew.

In Scorpio's defense

In defense of the sign that is most unwanted in China, here is something about Scorpio, the sign of the brave defenders. Raymond Domenech uses to avoid Scorpio's in his team and that is a pity.  Every sign contributes to the whole of the circle and the circle wouldn't be complete without Scorpio. We need Scorpio to investigate, defend and challenge, like we need Libra for the perfect (lack of) balance and making choices. Virgo is sharp in details and good at seeing the faults and mistakes. Scorpio is sharp at larger scale, vigilant. The stick of the pointing finger nail of Virgo is nothing compared to the sharpness of the eagle or the venom that can be produced by Scorpio. That is why Scorpio is not the most beloved sign:). But what if they use their influence and strength to protect you...

I wrote about Scorpio before (see that post), but now that it is Scorpio time, let me tell you something about the good things of Scorpio. We need Scorpio to stand firm, to offer resistance. The sign Scorpio is for being strong, vigilant, protective and strong willed. It depends on you how nice you find that! But that is just telling you about the SIGN Scorpio.

This is the portrait of the body guard of a Sheikh of Borneo

A person is not a sign. So, you don't have to take Scorpio pure and for 100%. Most of the time Scorpio's have the Moon and a Sun/Moon midpoint in one of the other signs. Those who were born under Scorpio may have a nice and sweet Ascendant, to ease the intensity and make you feel comfortable. The Sun may have major or minor aspects, too. Some Scorpio's are even stronger than the average 100% Scorpio is supposed to be! And some of them are self destructive. But, as Scorpio (in general) lives longer, they can't ALL be like that. Scorpio lives longer (really, see: http://astropost.blogspot.nl/2011/03/scorpio-lives-longer.html ), but not all of them, I'm afraid.

FEMALE SCORPIO's
Here is the post on the chart, life and death of Princess Gracia of Monaco (Grace Kelly, the movie star): http://astropost.blogspot.nl/2012/04/from-grace-kelly-to-princess-gracia.html  The combination of Scorpio Sun and Pisces Moon made her mysterious...

Another woman with Sun Scorpio on this blog is Valerie Jarrett:
http://astropost.blogspot.nl/2008/11/day-of-birth-of-valerie-jarrett.html

Or read about Marie Antoinette and her Louis (she a Scorpio Sun, he a Scorpio Moon): http://astropost.blogspot.nl/2013/05/the-astrology-of-marie-antoinette-and.html

And last but not least: Hilary Clinton has a 'calling' Sun in Scorpio. See the post on the leadership in her chart: http://astropost.blogspot.nl/2010/10/leader-in-chart-of-hillary-clinton.html With Sun in Scorpio quintile Saturn she has a combination for the die hard and for a creative lasting strategy.

MALE SCORPIO's
Scorpio is not the warrior, like Mars is, but the defender; not the musles but the force; not fast but strong and sometimes both. See the post on Sem Schilt (Sun and Moon in Scorpio, K1 fighter).

Sometimes Scorpio doesn't fight at all, like Prince Charles (born November 14) or Bill Gates or Pablo Picasso. I can show you the chart of Scorpio Billy Graham, too. If that is not enough, try and Google 'Astropost' and the name of the Scorpio of your choice. Maybe there is a post about that chart, maybe not, so why not ask.

Just like in any sign there are criminals born under Scorpio. I have a few examples for you:

SCORPIO: All about the sun sign Scorpio, Moon and planets in Scorpio, Ascendant and Midheaven in Scorpio

The sign of Scorpio is a fixes water sign. Ruler of Scorpio is Pluto. Before the discovery of Pluto Mars was considered ruler of Aries and Scorpio.

Keywords for Scorpio:
to defend, all or nothing, reorganising, reproduction, challenge and problem

You show your Scorpio sun :
- by making life difficult for yourself
- having high demands on yourself and others
- not avoiding challenges
- showing courage
- wanting to be the strongest (mentally and/or physically)
- be the last man/woman standing
- if you boldly go where no one would go if he/she was not a Scorpio
- to take the lead when things get difficult
- to want to be a winner (you hate loosing)

Often Scorpio is related to sex, murder and all other taboos. But the other side of Scorpio is research and technique.

As Scorpio is a sign of extremes you find some extreme examples here:
Charles Manson (4 planets in Scorpio)
Marc Dutroux (3 planets in Scorpio)
Bill Gates, Billy Graham, Grace Kelly and Andy Warhol

Moon in Scorpio
You are used to have to defend yourself when you have Moon in Scorpio, so you start defending immediately. If not yourself than your intimates. You need challenges and if there are not any you make them by making difficulties. And when you care or work as a caretaker you take on the most difficult jobs, the psychological problems or the mother-and-child care.

Truman Capote had this moon. So did Nostradamus.

Mercury in Scorpio
A fanatic student, going on until he/she is an expert. Your childhood might not have been easy.

Venus in Scorpio
Challenges in love and relationships...It is all or nothing for you in love. Some persons with this placements had problems and decided it will be a Venus in the desert forever. But when the aspects are good: strong and fanatic love and deeply true!

Mars in Scorpio
The strong man who always finished his job. The fanatic worker born for burnout...

Jupiter in Scorpio
Being fanatic in your conviction and thinking everything is justified to defend that, like Koresh did. But in general: deeply knowing you are right.

Saturn in Scorpio
Making a problem of your career and status, so that limitations are your challenge and you look severe and fanatic sometimes.
When Saturn is in Scorpio there is a demand to economize.

Bill Gates (richest man in the world), Kevin Costner

Ascendant in Scorpio
You look nastier. stronger or sexier than you might really be. You are not easy to be approached. The cactus from outside! With bad aspects women are a bitch with this ascendant. You really look brave if you are a man and people might fear you.

Examples? Margaret Thatcher, Grace Kelly, Edit Piaf, Vladimir Putin

MC in Scorpio
Your goal is to win, even if it is not easy! You seek a difficult goal in life, like Che Guevara did. You demand a lot in your carreer making.
