An Ixion example

A Huffington Post message made me have a look at the chart of the victim of a shot, probably not meant for him. The chart of the day of birth has Sun inconjunct Mars. That is a difficult aspect when it comes to fire, shooting, fighting, competition and aggression*). Astrology fails to tell us 'who done it'. Victim and killer can have the same kind of aspects, as I showed you before, related to Mars-Pluto ( http://astropost.blogspot.nl/2008/04/mars-in-aspect-with-pluto.html ). In this case there is also a Mars-Pluto aspect.
The progressed chart of the victim has progressed Mars quindecile natal Pluto (focus on danger). On his birthday Mars was exactly sextile Pluto.  (For the correspondence between natal, progressed and daily aspects see the post on Resonance).

I'll focus on progressed Sun conjunct Ixion.

Ixion is the object that I already mention today (re the synastry of Jackie and Jaycee Chan). Ixion is the symbol of the ungrateful guest/dog, bad hosts and the 'bad guy'. When you are being confronted with Ixion, you'd better watch out. This man couldn't watch out. He was playing a computer game when the bullet hit him, just hours after celebrating his birthday (with guests?).


 If you were born on the same day and in a dangerous neighborhood or country, take care! Of course it makes a difference who you are and where you are and ... what other transits and progressions there are in your chart. Thousands of people were born on the same day (and will die on another day!). The astrological mirror has different colors and different views for all the differences in way of living, genes, gender, status and position.

PS Transit Uranus in the 17th (16-17!) degree of Aries is about to make an opposition with my natal Ixion and the Ixion of almost everybody born when I was born. Perhaps my generation will be shocked when somebody surprisingly turns out to be a 'bad guy'?

Time's number 1 news item of 2010: the arrest of Joran van der Sloot

The arrest of Joran van der Sloot is Time's news of the year 2010.  For astrologers the most interesting point is that the interaction of positions in the charts of Natalee Holloway and Joran van der Sloot is very much in line with the circumstances (a sexual encounter ending in violence).

SYNASTRY

She has Mars square Pluto and sextile Saturn in her chart. That is a combination for danger of early death. His Pluto is square her Mars and that shows the issue of use or abuse of violence or force (sexual intimidation). Her Venus is square his Mars for passion. 

TRANSITS

There are even more violent connections between the charts on the day of Natalee's death.

And: on the day that Natalee Holloway vanished Joran van der Sloot had transit Mars sesquisquare Pluto! 

There was a lot of interaction with Mars and Pluto in their charts and there were transits between Mars and Pluto on that tragic day. 

- When she disappeared Natalee had transit Mars semi square Mars and sesquisquare Pluto, activating the dangerous Mars-Pluto connection in her natal chart. 

- Joran had Pluto conjunct Uranus that day and sesquisquare Venus. He also had T Mars sesquisquare Pluto

So coincidentallythey had the same sort of transit on the same day (Mars-Pluto) added with the aspects they already shared. And Mars-Pluto is a dangerous combination.

And... when he was arrested for killing another woman (Stephany Flores) Joran van der Sloot had again Pluto in aspect with natal AND progressed Mars.

Uranus, Neptune and the arrests of a crime reporter

Famous detective/reporter Peter R. de Vries (known for the Natalee Holloway case) has been arrested in Perth, Australia, where he was confronting a British/Australian diving instructor with the death of Mariska Mast, who died under suspicious circumstances in Honduras on the island of Roatan. The instructor was arrested but allowed to leave prison. He had to leave his passport behind. But the man has two nationalities and was able to fly away…to Australia. That is where Peter R. de Vries located the man and where the police protected him and arrested the reporter for trespassing. See the news…
His arrest is mirrored by transits of Eris, Vesta and Quaoar and by transit Uranus semi square progressed Midheaven. Uranus is always around when there is upheaval...

See the chart, the observations, the links, but first more about the important Neptune in Scorpio in the chart of the arrested reported. The placement of his Neptune is reflecting the man who is very much motivated to uncover mysteries...It is a prominent Neptune.

1. Neptune is rising before his Sun (in a position that marks the orientation).

2. Neptune is the ruler of Midheaven. 

3. Neptune is square his Sun/Moon midpoint (the point of motivation). 

4. Neptune is inconjunct Aries Point and half semi square the Sun. Neptune's only major aspect is with the Pluto, ruler of Scorpio. The midpoint Neptune/Pluto is opposition Midheaven.  One of the issues of Neptune in Scorpio and of Neptune/Pluto is uncovering mysteries as well as discretion about the sources of information. Peter R. de Vries has been arrested more than once (twice for trespassing now) in different circumstances and with different transits and progressions. There is no recipe for arrest in astrology, but Uranus-Pluto combinations in the natal chart often give an indication of impulsive behaviour that easily leads to a sudden dramatic change like an arrest. De Vries had Mars sesquisquare Uranus and quatronovile Pluto (rejoycing taking risks)...

Corrected chart of Joran van der Sloot and how about rated hours of birth

There are several posts about Joran van der Sloot on this blog. The official hours of birth of Joran van der Sloot and Natalee Holloway remain unknown. Nico van den Bos of Astrologie Zeeland thinks that Joran’s hour of birth must be 13:58 (1:58 p.m).  He corrected the time unknown chart for this hour.

HOW ABOUT YOUR CHART CORRECTION?

A corrected chart is a chart with an estimated hour of birth based upon the correspondence between events in an individual's life, transits and progression. When there is no hour of birth available for you, you could give it a try to find a possible hour of birth. Personally, I have an offical hour of birth and my mother;s time (just 3 minutes later). I have tried to find the exact minute a few times and I ended with possible hours of birth between 12:25 and 12:45. The official time is in the middle:)! 

AND THE CHART RATING ON ASTRODATABANK?

A lot of charts of VIP's are corrected or estimated charts. That is why the work of Astrodatabank to find the true hour of birth and mention the source or controversy is so valuable and appreciated. 

For example the chart of Joan of Arc, that is a DD-rated chart. An AA-rated chart is one with birth certificate in hand (like Barack Obama's chart:). A DD-rated chart has a date that is not verified. Always check the rating to see if you can use the chart as a tool for understanding transits and progressions!

Uri Geller and Van der Sloot's ticket

Uri Geller offered Joran van der Sloot money for a ticket to Aruba, just before Joran van der Sloot was arrested. The idea was to hypnotize the man in order to find out the truth about what happened to Natalee Holloway. Geller says that he absolutely didn’t pay more than that and about 600 dollar for expenses. There is a link to his statement in this post.

PLUTO IN THE SYNASTRY WITH VAN DER SLOOT
Interesting for astrological reasons:
1. Venus-Pluto, the combination of earning money (the money axis)
- Venus-Pluto of Joran van der Sloot is exactly conjunct the Midheaven of Uri Geller.
2. Sun-Pluto
- Uri Geller’s Pluto is exactly conjunct the Sun of Joran.

Café Astrology uses the word ‘mesmerizing’ for the Sun-Pluto combination in synastry. (Mesmer is the man who first used a sort of hypnotism). I think that is fascinating! (another word in the Pluto-vocabulary).

A few months back a Dutch magician had a program about Uri Geller’s tricks, revealing and explaining them. His Pluto is exactly square Uri Geller’s Sun.
The Sun-Pluto interaction between charts is always challenging and intense. Often it is about values, authority, issues of life and death or influence. And sometimes there is a drama –or plain jealousy - connecting the lives of both of you.

GELLER
Uri Geller was born December 20, 1946 in Tel Avic at about 2 a.m. He is the famous 'spoon-bender'.
In his chart (above) Jupiter is the planet orientation (symbol of the international). Uranus is ‘calling’ (no major aspects in sign or orb 5 degrees). The prominence*) of Jupiter and Uranus promises successful use of techniques and being resourcefull.

The meeting of the charts of Stephany Flores and Joran van der Sloot

Stephany Flores met Joran van der Sloot on a bad day. Joran van der Sloot had transit Pluto square Mars. Stephany Flores' progressed Mars was inconjunct Pluto. That is reflecting the danger of having to defend yourself and a violent act with a risk of a lost). That is exactly the same interaction as with Natalee Holloway (see below)*)...Mars-Pluto is a difficult and sometimes violent aspect combination.

SHARED MARS-NEPTUNE
Also, he has Mars sesquisquare Neptune and she has Mars square Neptune in the natal chart. Sharing Mars-Neptune with another person is not easy. On Astromarkt I wrote about that:

Mars-Neptune: Being without job, sharing drugs or alcohol or medications. Maybe they are working together in a health or non profit organization. A relationship that does not cheer up…

And that is sometimes an understatement, apparently. There is more, of course, not just in their charts (and we don't know the hours of birth) but also in situation (reflected by the Ascendant) and position (MC). There is (luckily) not much chance to meet a killer and not all women born on Stephany's birthday ended their lives in a hotel room last May.

SYNASTRY
In an earlier post I mentioned the present astrological situation for Van der Sloot (the combination of Mercury-Jupiter-Saturn and Pholus) now that he confessed his crime. His Jupiter and Mercury are square and are square Stephany's Sun, too. His Saturn is sesquisquare her Sun. And his Pholus is sextile her Sun. Her Sun is (in a way) at the crosspoint of his difficult aspect combinations in the natal and progressed chart. And the Sun is the symbol of life...

CONCLUSION
Stephany met the wrong kind of guy on a bad day at the wrong spot.

The confession of Joran van der Sloot

Joran van der Sloot confessed, says the police in Peru. His progressed chart shows a combination of Mercury-Saturn and Pholus. Does this reflect an official (Saturn) self damaging (Pholus) statement (Mercury)? This combination of Mercury-Saturn and Pholus was already there in the natal chart (without hour of birth) and is repeated now.

Following the earlier messages about the birth positions of Joran van der Sloot, and the post about Van der Sloot being a subject again, here is something about his Mercury. Joran van der Sloot is a good liar (he is a poker player). Afflicted Mercuries point at the ability to vary and twist communications and mental state the hard way. (And some professions aquire a tough or flexible mentality or interest). There is a post about Mercury and lying on this blog here…

MERCURY IN BIRTH CHART
In the natal chart of Joran van der Sloot we see an afflicted Mercury exactly square Jupiter and sesquisquare Saturn. There is also a biquintile with Uranus. He can limit (Saturn), change (Uranus) or expand (Jupiter) facts or subjects of conversation. Those are the kind of qualities that a poker player needs, besides a poker face or a cap to hide your expression.

MERCURY IN THE PROGRESSED CHART: aspects combinations repeated!
In the progressed chart of Joran van der Sloot we see that Mercury moved fast. The afflicted Mercury is now exactly sesquisquare Jupiter and exactly square Saturn.
This means that the original nature of his communications are now ‘ triggered’ by progressions and that his mind has strong ups and downs now.

PHOLUS AND MERCURY
In the natal and progressed chart of Joran van der Sloot, Mercury is in aspect with Pholus, the symbol of turning points and 'shooting your own feet'. In the natal chart Mercury is sextile Pholus, but in the progressed chart there is a 105 degree minor aspect. Progressed and natal Saturn are quindecile Pholus. The Mercury-Saturn-Pholus combination of the natal chart is again active in the progressed chart. We could read the combination as the official statement of a turning point or: ' shooting your own feet with lies'.

And now, confronted with the images of the hotel door on video, Joran van der Sloot confessed.

How about the effect of the 'harmonious' trine? Sometimes trines just make it easy to get isolated and lost with Neptune. It seems that he tried to sell information about the whereabouts of the death body of Natalee Holloway and that the FBI knew it. He was living in a false world of poker games, drugs and illusions.

Suspect again: Joran van der Sloot (Natalee Holloway case)

Joran van der Sloot has always been a suspect in the case of the missing Natalee Holloway and moved out of the Dutch Antilles and out of the Netherlands, first to Thailand and apparently later to Argentina, where he is now the suspect in the case of a stabbed girl (Stephany Tatiana Flores Ramirez, 21) who was last seen with him (just like Natalee Holloway was). The earlier posts about Joran van der Sloot are here and the news is here… In this post you see how the same sort of transit between Mars and Pluto links the disappearance of Holloway with this murder case and how Mars-Pluto was the key combination in the Holloway case. Let us have a look at the transits and progressions.

Transit Pholus trine natal Sun (easy to shoot in your own feet or easy turning point in life)
Transit Neptune quindecile natal Sun (being seen in a strong focused negative light)
Transit Jupiter sextile Pholus (lucky turning point)
Progressed Sun trine Neptune (realization of a dream or day dreaming)
Transit Pluto trine P Mars and quindecile natal Mars (danger, violence)

And it is the last mentioned transit that fits in the pattern. Because Mars-Pluto keeps coming back in the life and relationships of Joran van der Sloot (who is a pathological liar and a poker player: Mercury-Jupiter affliction - he even wrote a book about the case of Natalee Holloway!). Mars-Pluto is the key to the story.

On the day that Natalee Holloway vanished Joran van der Sloot had transit Mars sesquisquare Pluto! There was a lot of interaction with Mars and Pluto in their charts and there were transits between Mars and Pluto on that tragic day.

Poker and the chart of Boris Becker

No signs of shock in the chart of Boris Becker and that is correct: he had already left the European Poker Tour meeting in Berlin, when robbers entered and forced the employees to hand over a sum of approximately € 800.000 euro. Former tennis champion Becker is a poker player. Playing poker requires a poker face. One needs to be able to show no emotions (and lie a bit). He can!
He has a golden yod of Mercury, Mars and Saturn. Mercury and Saturn - on the IC- don't make major aspects in sign or orb 5 degrees. They are 'calling', prominent, manifesting at any possible level. The biquintile between them is reflecting a creative ability to limit fact and communications at any level.
Boris Becker is motivated by winning and by profit (Sun/Moon =Pluto) and the planet of challenges, influence, money and power is semi square the midpoint AC/MC, too. Mars (the planet of sport and the dispositor of the house of games) is trine this crucial Pluto, making it easy for his drive to win, in tennis or in poker games.

Holloway case: Joran van der Sloot confesses (again...)

On this blog you find a lot about the case of the disappearance of Natalee Holloway (see the positions on her day of birth, transits and progressions for today) and about the person who might have been the last one to have seen her alive: Joran van der Sloot.. A few days ago he appeared on Dutch television with another confession, this time he even showed emotions. But, good to realise this, the confession had been offered to television last year, before the father of Van der Sloot died and has been questioned. He never mentioned a specific place where he left the body of Natalee. Follow the link to see more about his chart (no hob).

Remember? Natalee made a school trip to a tropical island and spent the night with two local boys. She never came back.
It is a story about the effect of Mars-Pluto. The combination of these planets keeps coming back in the natal positions, the synastry, progressions and transits of the day of the disappearance and ...of today.

Natalee Holloway had Mars tightly square Pluto in the natal chart.
Her Mars afflicted the Pluto of Joran, who has Uranus semi square Pluto (and a very wide Mars-Pluto conflict, with both planets in aspect with Saturn).

DATE
When she disappeared Natalee had transit Mars semi square Mars and sesquisquare Pluto, activating the dangerous Mars-Pluto connection in her natal chart.
Joran had Pluto conjunct Uranus that day and sesquisquare Venus. He also had Mars sesqui square Pluto.

So coincidentally they had the same sort of transit on the same day, added with the aspects that they already shared;**) the combination of danger.

COME BACK OF MARS-PLUTO
The progressed Sun of Natalee is now square progressed Mars and progressed Mars is quindecile (165 d.) Pluto.

Joran has the same kind of combination now: Transit Pluto trine progressed Sun and sesquisquare natal Pluto.

The same aspect combination that is dominating the relationship and the date is being highlighted again this year. See the charts.
Maybe this aspect offers a challenging chance to change his lifestyle and come up with the truth. It would be a consolation for her family to know where her remains are. Up to know there is little evidence that Joran van der Sloot feels sorry for the family.

**) The Kennedy's shared a Mars-Pluto aspect and can we see them in another perspective than that of the violent death of one of them? There are also Mars-Pluto combinations in some famous cases of abuse. And I know of more than one couple with this synastry, who didn't die or vanish, just had painful and intense arguments. Mars-Pluto is about the use and abuse of force,violence, strategy, influence and politics. Mars-Pluto relates values and challenges to aggression, sex and activism. It depends on the rest of the chart, the circumstances and situation, gender, genes and 'level' in what way the Mars-Pluto aspect will make the use of power an issue in the life of the individual(s) involved. In general Mars-Pluto is reflecting the drive to win and dominate and the effects of exploiting this energy. See the label for more. Mars-Pluto: could be destructive as it is about using power and force. In a team of sportsmen this aspect can empower the joined forces.

PS I could add something about the combination of P Sun trine Neptune and transit Pluto (Joran van der Sloot's chart) and I didn't, in order not to complicate the post. But I like to mention it anyway. There is more on this blog about Neptune-Pluto (see the labels) , and here is something in addition:
I think that the key to the combination might be the value (Pluto) of secrets (Neptune). Authors of detectives, detectives, magicians and spies (and maybe also poker players?) have prominent Neptune-Pluto combinations in their charts. When the combination appears by transit or progression you might be forced to be discrete, to keep a secret or ...reveal it at a certain price only. It is just the theme (the value of secrets and mysteries) that is important. How you handle it depends on character, situation and conditions. But, it is always about knowing what the others don't know...yet.

Charts of the Natalee Holloway case

Nico van den Bos (Astrologie Zeeland) has estimated the birth hours of Natalee Holloway and Joran van der Sloot, using transits and progressions. This is the link to the article (in Dutch).

The guess charts inspired me to have another look at the case and the charts of those involved.

MOON-PLUTO
At the estimated hour the position of the Moon in Natalee's chart (inconjunct her Pluto, his Pluto and quindecile his Uranus, quintile his supposed to be Midheaven) seems to be the key to it all. It tells us that Natalee might have been attracted to dangerous males, just like Karen Homolka, who also has Moon inconjunct Pluto. In Dutch astrologer Martin Boot’s book ‘Van Ram tot Vissen’ the inconjunction of Moon and Pluto is referred to as ‘seeing submission as a way to express love’.

Natalee’s Moon has some tight aspects. The Moon is inconjunct Pluto, trine Mars and opposition Saturn. The Moon (symbol of the woman and early years) is connected with the combination of unnatural death (Mars, Saturn and Pluto), all in the 7th or 8th degree. Yet, the tighest aspect is Mars square Pluto. I have written about Mars-Pluto on my site Astromarkt and in short: it is about the use and abuse of violence and the drive to win (or having to defend yourself). (There is also a Mars-Pluto connection in the charts of John and Jacqueline Kennedy, BTW).

It is that combination of Moon, Mars, Saturn and Pluto that is in aspect with the Pluto and Uranus of Joran, in the 8th and 23rd degree. For example: her Mars is semi square his Uranus and square his Pluto.
I like to mention that more persons born in Joran’s month have hard aspects with Natalee’s Mars. But…they were not as close as Joran was.

VENUS-MARS-URANUS
On the day of her disappearance she had transit Uranus trine progressed Venus and transit Mars square progressed Uranus. With the used hour of birth, Mars would also be inconjunct her progressed Ascendant. The picture is that of a sexual adventure (Venus, Mars and Uranus) with possibly also disproportional activity or getting hurt.

The solar return chart of her last birthday has Sun square Saturn (so she had Transit Saturn square Sun in the year before her death) and Venus square Pluto. Saturn would be in her 8th solar house that year, with the estimated hour of birth.

4x NEPTUNE for JORAN
While Natalee has an adventure and possible accident (Mars-Uranus) in her chart on the day of her disappearance (31 May 2005), with the data used by Van den Bos, the following day Joran would have:
- progressed Midheaven trine Neptune (1)
- transit Neptune was square his progressed Ascendant (2)
- Neptune was also opposition natal Midheaven (3) That is a lot of Neptune!
- + In the solar return chart for 2005 the natal Sun was opposition …Neptune (4).

(Without hour of birth there is not much in the chart)

He was a suspect right away. But there was no evidence. Neptune is the planet of hidden things, drugs, alcohol, concealing, secrets, fantasies and mist. And Neptune is involved when a person in missing or...when a person is being suspected. So I don't think astrology tells us 'who done it'.

BTW: In 2005 in the progressed chart of Joran van der Sloot Sun, Venus and Mars (in conjunction) changed sign. His life changed. In the tertiary chart (based upon the estimated hour of birth), the Ascendant was conjunct Venus and he was having fun that day. The next day – or in the night - the Moon squared Uranus: shriek!

JUPITER INCONJUNCT SUN
Astrology does tell us that Natalee had a certain tendency to be attracted to the wrong kind of men. And that Joran has the potential to be a great pretender with a lot of energy and strength. Her Jupiter inconjunct his Sun might indicate that she there was no balance in the way that she had confidence in him.

JORAN’s CHART
- His natal chart has an oriental Jupiter, the symbol of travelling and convincing. He was born in The Netherlands, grew up on the Antilles and lived or lives in Thailand now.
- The Mercury square Jupiter tells us that he is communicating a lot (and probably boasting). He also has Mercury biquintile Uranus for creatively changing the facts whenever it is suites him. Mercury is sesquisquare Saturn, too. With three potentials for lying, the risk that he won't tell us the truth is gigantic. We know that he recently won a nice sum of money in a poker game.
- Pluto (symbol of money, force, sexuality, life and death and power) is conjunct the Ascendant. That is often so in the charts of people who are 'protected' in a way. Venus is square Pluto for a desire to earn a lot of money. Venus is sesquisquare Uranus. The combination of Venus, Uranus and Pluto tells us something about radical and impulsive sympathies and affection. And Uranus-Pluto tells us about a possible arrest (Uranus-Pluto) related to women.
- Mars and the Sun are on top in the chart corrected by Van den Bos. The important placements and positions for Sun, Mars, Jupiter and Pluto in the possible chart reflect successes and an enormous drive and energy with the potential of success. If he was born at 13h58, why would he be involved in criminal activities?
- Joran has 60% of his placements in fire signs and that means that he is full of energy, possibly overactive. Mars might be on Midheaven. That means that his acts, energy and drive are of importance for his name and career. But what if they were wrong? Mars is sesquisquare Neptune and that does not mean he is a criminal. Lawyers and judges also have this aspect often. But Mars-Neptune has the potential of doing the wrong thing. The chart of Joran seems to me the chart of a capable liar. And that corresponds with what we know.

MEETING
Anyway, with or without hour of birth, their meeting was full of stress and challenge:

Her Mars is afflicting Pluto in her birth chart (and maybe her Moon is inconjunct Pluto)...
Her Mars squares Joran's Pluto.
And her Venus squares his Mars.

Sometimes such meetings turn into a drama. Venus and Mars added with Mars with Pluto introduce a sexual component as the link between them. Mars with Pluto sometimes refers to using violence or force. We don't know what happened, but we do know there was sexual attraction involved. And that Natalee did not return home.
Would the estimated hour of birth have been hers, I would not have been surprised if her remains were found these days, as in her progressed chart the Midheaven is inconjunct Pluto (a discovery, but…). For the sake of her family, I hope they will find out what happened to her body.

Joran van der Sloot wins pokergame

The former suspect in the case of the disappearance of Natalee Holloway, Joran van der Sloot, won a few thousand euros in a poker game, according to the Dutch newspaper 'De Telegraaf'. In order to win a poker game, you need to have a poker face or (on the internet) you need to be good at boasting. Joran has a tight square between Mercury and Jupiter and that says: 'talk' (Mercury) 'big' (Jupiter). So he can.

At the moment transit Mars trines his progressed Pluto. Transit Pluto is trine progressed Mars. So it is a good moment to win (Pluto) a battle (Mars).

Mercury square Jupiter and the natal chart of Joran van der Sloot

There is much disagreement about the question if Joran van der Sloot did or did not kill Natalee Holloway but there is a lot of agreement about the idea that he is a liar. The tightest aspect in his natal chart is Mercury square Jupiter for exaggeration of communications. See below for an explanation of the way the combination of Mercury-Jupiter might produce over-communicating.

In the article about Mercury and Jupiter on Astromarkt (only in Dutch) you see this:

Especially when there is a conflict between Mercury and Jupiter receivers of the message notice that facts are sometimes just opinions and opinions are broadcasted as if they were facts.
In other words: the messenger is not always thrustworthy and switches opinions from day to day. That is because the facts have to be adjusted to the conviction, from day to day. Another problem is: who remember all of his exaggerations? The person born with a hard aspect between Mercury and Jupiter will have trouble to remember them all and the audience feels as if the speaker is twisting and turning facts.

The conflict Mercury/Jupiter is a conflict of bad judgement, not being willing to hear the truth and not always wanting to know the real facts. Sometimes they mention facts that they even don't believe themselves, so how can the receiver of the message belief it? In the case of politicians who have to express the opinion of the party, but in fact have another idea it is sometimes clearly visible. With Mercury/Jupiter afflictions one does not always tell the facts, but when needed they say it all (even if that is indiscrete).

The sesquisquare of Mercury with Saturn in combination with the square of Mercury and Jupiter tells us that there is a serious disadvantage for Van der Sloot in saying too much and in making up stories.

Of course, there is an advantage in being able to talk much and make more of the facts than they really are. Salesmen benefit from it, so do authors of fiction and columns or blogs when they need a lot of words to fill their pages. It is the person with the tool in hands, who decides how to use it.

Mercury is the planet of communications and communicators. Journalist, writers, teachers, messengers, books, pens, prescriptions...they are all part of the world of the symbol Mercury.

Jupiter is the planet of higher education, develpoment, growth, convictions and wisdom. Church leaders, coaches, stimulating persons in general, advisors, cars, horses and guides belong to the world of the symbol of Jupiter. Jupiter makes things better (most of the time) and Jupiter makes things greater.

So when Mercury is related to Jupiter the communication skills are greater and sometimes the contents of the message will be made greater than it is. And sometimes with this combination in your chart, you just talk too much.

Case Natalee Holloway (Joran van der Sloot) and the charts

The case of the missing Natalee Holloway is a continuing case and I have written several posts about it (see links below).
Last Sunday evening Peter R. de Vries presented a television program with Joran van der Sloot (suspect in the case of the disappearance of Natalee Holloway) in the 'starring role'. A member of the De Vries-team pretended to be willing to buy Thai girls and Joran accepted 1000 euro to deliver them, but he did not have them yet. I don't know what the legal result of this action will be, but Joran fled his home in Thailand, anyway.
