Iceland, Icesave and Venus-Pluto

It is a matter of money (transit Pluto opposition natal Venus) of making difficult decissions (Venus-Pluto, too) in the chart of the President of Iceland (Olafur Ragnar Grimsson). He refused to sign a bill requiring the state of Iceland to repay the Netherlands and Britain for the Icesave bankruptcy. The Netherlands would have been repaid about 3 to 4 billion dollar. Now there is a chance that the public referendum will be supported by a large majority of the Icelanders and that the states of the Netherlands and Britain won't get the money back. Indeed, a matter of money...and a matter of value and values (also Venus-Pluto). Now it is up to the people of Iceland to decide and the Dutch and British government might have one more financial problem to solve.

BTW The chart of the leader of a nation is often a good indication for the situation of the population. The Icelanders have a serious money problem since the financial crisis. The President is busy with money issues and his chart is reflecting that.

Iceland is looking for a loan from the IMF and to join the EU Will the UK and the Netherlands back them - I think they will make life very difficult for Iceland. There will have to be a compromise - at the same time those who invested in the Icelandic Bank at such a high rate of interest should not have been covered by their Governments - but there you are - hind sight is a wonderful thing.
A very happy new year to you.
