The bright side of the chart of the royal baby born July 22, 2013

On the chart of Prince George....
The youngest British royal was born in July 22, 2013 at 16:24 BST in London. It is a birth a few hours before the full moon in Aquarius and still with the Sun and Moon in Cancer. It sounds like a moment waiting for the increasing manifestation of starlight. The parents waited a few hours to tell the world about the birth of their first born. It seems to be British tradition to wait with announcements until the Queen and PM have been informed. Also, William and Kate wanted to tell the family first, personally. Surprisingly, when the announcement was made, the Sun and Moon had entered the next sign, Leo and it was full moon. Spotlights on!

I use not to analyze charts of very young children. They are just starting, everybody is happy and it is better to keep it that way  for a long long while. So let me focus (for almost 100%) on the bright sides of the chart, please. It is not difficult. It is the chart of a good looking, charming, energetic boy.

GOOD LOOKS AND BELOVED
Watch Venus and Uranus in hard aspect with the Ascendant and you will understand that he will likely be attractive not just because of his position, but also because of his looks. Venus is in Virgo (a 'cool' sign for a man). With Moon inconjunct Venus, both in aspect with the Ascendant, there may be a lack of balance in the relationship with females, too. Moon and Venus are in hard aspect with Neptune (Moon is semi square and Venus is opposition Neptune). This sensitivity and desire is good for the development of artistic talents. But it is also an indication for the issue of love affairs.

Venus had an important position in the sky at the moment of birth, elevated and conjunct Regulus. Heinrich Himmler had Venus conjunct Regulus and this didn't make him a nice guy (see Astrodatabank: http://www.astro.com/astro-databank/Himmler,_Heinrich ). Constellation of Words quotes Robson about violent attachments and nasty love affairs.
He'll have a number of years to learn how to deal with that!:)

ENERGETIC
No matter at what hour: Mars rises before the Sun and is conjunct Jupiter. Great achievement, success and/or a lot of energy is to be expected. It will be first of all an active child. Maybe he will follow his father's footsteps and have a job in the army, later.

WATER SIGN TRIPOD
There is a lot of water in this chart, in particular because of placements in Cancer. Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, Neptune and Saturn are in water signs. There is a rare grand trine of Mars, Jupiter, Neptune and Saturn and there is a tripod pattern in the chart.

Water is the element of 'going with the flow' and at the same time: of traditions. It is easy with such a lot of positions in water signs to sense what the people wants and what is current or not. The grand trine makes it easy to choose the easy way out in times of trouble.

CHARACTER
The combination of Sun in Cancer and Moon in Capricorn, reflecting the sun signs of his father and mother, is a combination of taking care and the need of security and something to hold on to. May I refer to Cafe Astrology for more on Sun opposition Moon? The Scorpio Ascendant is in aspect with Sun and Moon: he'll do well in the spotlights.

ROYALTY
The importance of the dynasty and being the heir is represented by Ceres. Ceres is biquintile IC and quindecile (165d) natal Sun.
First borns have a special position when it comes to inheriting a title. This young man has Jupiter in the 6th degree of Cancer, part of the grand trine. Jupiter is in minor aspect with Midheaven (a 75d aspic) and IC (105).

SUCCESSION
I quote myself about William on Father's day (http://astropost.blogspot.nl/2013/06/fatherday-special-royal-fathers-charts.html)

" In the solar return chart of his birthday on June 21, 2013, Ceres (dynasty, genes) is in the final degree of Cancer. That is  spot on the progressed Sun of the Prince and highlights the theme of motherhood/parenthood".

The Ceres of this father's solar return chart is in 29d29 Cancer. That is conjunct the son's natal sun.

SYNASTRY
The Jupiter of William is square the boy's Sun (out of sign). He might spoil his Sun a bit too much and wants to help and protect him more than is usual.
Transit Saturn was trine his natal Moon on the day of birth, so in the relationship there will be a strong sense of responsibility.
On the day of birth the Sun was conjunct William's progressed Sun. It must have felt like a 'birthday':) In the synastry it means that the first period of baby boy's life there will be a strong bondage.

The Jupiter of Charles is inconjunct the Sun of baby boy. Grandfather may want to spoil him…

Mother Catherine had progressed Sun square Ceres (the symbol of dynasties and motherhood) and Progressed Mars square Sun. Transit Jupiter was inconjunct her Mercury and sesquis quare her progressed Sun.
I gave her a guess chart for a birth at 9:05 a.m. so that transit Uranus ruler 1 was square her natal Moon and transit Jupiter inconjunct her Midheaven, roughly. Here it is:

The pattern of artistic and political talent

When you study the charts of artists and politicians, you may notice that many of them have the same 'trio' in aspect. For art (and entertainment or art craft) I see Moon-Venus-Neptune and for politics Mercury-Saturn-Pluto. Not always, but very often…

ART
My blog Art&Astrology (http://art-astrology.blogspot.com) is completely dedicated to the astrological pattern of artistic talent, shown by means of the charts of dozens of artists, musicians, painters, photographers, directors and singers. What is that pattern?

Venus is the symbol of beauty and style. Venus rules Taurus and Libra.
Moon is the symbol of senses and of moods. The Moon rules Cancer.
Neptune is the symbol of vision and fantasy. Neptune rules Pisces.

All aspects (minor, major, soft or hard) between Moon, Venus and Neptune create the pattern of talent. For example: Moon semi sextile Venus and inconjunct Neptune or Venus trine Moon and square Neptune. Or: Moon novile Venus and Venus biquintile Neptune.
Placements of Venus, Moon or Neptune in the signs that they rule  attribute to the pattern. For example: Venus in Cancer, Moon in Taurus and Neptune in Libra.
The Ascendant or Midheaven in those signs are also a big help.

The MC in aspect with one, two or all three (Moon, Venus and Neptune) links the talent to the public and the career.

Most examples on Art&Astrology have this pattern in the chart. There are always exceptions. Sometimes people are born in a family of artist and find a job there. They were trained from the beginning. In those cases sometimes we see Saturn rising before the Sun or an important Ceres. Example? Bette Davis http://astropost.blogspot.nl/2013/04/chart-of-exceptional-bette-davis.html#links

POLITICS
There are more of such patterns in charts. I think of the Mercury-Saturn-Pluto combination in the charts of politicians. Aspects (again: major or minor, strong or weak) between Mercury, Saturn and Pluto and placements of these 3 in the signs that they rule (or of the Ascendant or MC) are frequent in the charts of politicians. This is often- not always!- in combination with a Moon-Jupiter aspect.
Start reading the examples by using the label 'politics' and you find:

  • Chavez

Mercury novile Pluto. Mercury/Pluto midpoint in hard aspect with Saturn.
Moon conjunct Jupiter

  • Ed Koch

Quote: Just like most of the American president (and many politicians) there is a Mercury-Saturn-Pluto combinations  for political correct answers and strategic communications together with this Moon-Jupiter aspect.

  •  Bill Clinton

Mercury conjunct Saturn and Pluto; Pluto square midpoint Mercury/Saturn
Moon sextile Jupiter

  • Hans-Rufolf Merz (Swiss politician)

Mercury in Scoprio, biquintile Saturn and square Pluito. That is the signature of the communication strategy (the political mind).
Probably no Moon-Jupiter

  • Angelika Merkel

Mercury semi square Pluto and half semi square Saturn in Scorpio

and more.

There are always exceptions. Barack Obama doesn't have this patter in the natal chart. However, when he won the Elections in 2008 Mercury made very tight aspects with both Saturn and Pluto (square and semi square). Here is that progressed chart of the president who wasn't born to be a politician, but who learned to become the most powerful one.

Chart of Mick Jagger

The chart of Mick Jagger is an A-rated chart of Astrodienst. Here it is, with transits and progressions for  July 12, 1962, the first day of the Rolling Stones.

If I didn't know whose natal chart this was, I'd start with the Astro ID and see the importance of ambition (Saturn), drawing attention (Sun) and...the importance of artistic talents (Moon, Venus, Neptune). Because:

  • Moon in Taurus ('calling' and semi square AC/MC midpoint),
  • Neptune ('calling' for vision at any possible level) and
  • Venus (exactly square Ascendant and making the tightest aspect, a trine with Mars)
  • As the Sun rules all the planets AND because the Sun is the final dispositor of the Midheaven I'd think of performance, show, being a leader or a star.
  • Saturn (rising before the Sun, 'calling' for ambition, no matter what),
In the autumn of 1963 Mick Jagger stopped Economy school (Progressed Sun sextile Saturn), because at that moment the Rolling Stones were already very popular. He became a professional artist.
I could tell a lot more about his transits and progressions during the years of his life, but who would be interested? There are more interesting objects of study. For example: Mick Jagger is also known for the amount of women that he shared his bed with. Among them: Marianne Faithfull, Margaret Trudeau, Mackenzie Phillips, Carla Bruni and Angelina Jolie. He has 7 children of 4 women and married twice. Where are all those women in his chart?
  1. He is cool (Venus Virgo) attractive (Venus square Ascendant) and passionate (Venus trine Mars).
  2. Saturn is ruler 8 and ruler 8 (of life and death and sex) is rising before his sun
  3. Mars semi square Sun/Moon and in Taurus gives a sort of a need for action and production. Or …. reproduction
  4. Venus and Neptune are of importance and they are situated in the 5th house of the opposite sex. Venus and Neptune are important for talents. They are also romantic and tend to have affairs. In the chart of Mick Jagger Neptune (romance!) is calling! It means that because of the lack of narrow major aspects in sign there is romance at any possible level, somehow, anyhow, always...
  5. Let's not forget that Mick Jagger is a worshipped star. The Sun is of vital importance in the chart, ruling all planets. As there are 50% placements in fire and in fixed signs, the sign Leo (and the ruler: Sun) is prominent. The Sun is the star in the chart. It is much easier for a star to get a lot of fans and beautiful mistresses.
  6. Think of the situation: Mick's star was rising in the 'free' 60s, his status (Saturn!) and his drive (Mars=Sun/Moon) came together and the result was the king bee.

TOUR?
Now and in the next period of time, the transit of Uranus and Pluto will hit the progressed Sun, Midheaven/IC and natal Moon of Mick Jagger and probably cause upheaval. In fact, it has already begun.  He is under pressure and there are a lot of speculations (Transit Neptune inconjunct his natal Sun) about a final tour. It is a hype that causes stress, mixed emotions and nerves.
Stage fright? Still?

They say that Mick Jagger even had more women than Casanova had. Casanova was a completely different kind of person. If you want to see his chart and read about him, just click.

The affairs in the chart of John F. Kennedy

This week Mimi Alford published a book ('Once upon a secret') about her affair with President John F. Kennedy. What in his chart tells us that it would be hard to keep his marriage promises? There are (at least) four reasons:

1. His chart has more than 2 indications for divorce and it was his first marriage.

John F. Kennedy’s Moon is square Venus and both are semi square Neptune. That means (see chart) that Neptune is in the middle of Moon and Venus. Neptune with Moon or Venus is one of the indications in a male’s chart for divorce (the third indication is Mars afflicting Uranus; also watch the afflicted Venus in Gemini for flirtations). Moon with Venus and Neptune is a great combination for an artist, a painter for example. There are many examples on Art&Astrology. The other side of this combination might be a need to have affairs, a desire for romancing and dreams about ideal women. Men with Moon in conflict with Venus could have difficulties to see there wife as beautiful or as a lover once that they have children together. Venus in Gemini and Moon in Virgo (!) also has a preference for what is young. Mrs. Alford was a virgin until she met JFK. She was an intern in the White House and had an affair with John F. Kennedy sr. for months. They even used the bed of Jacqueline.

2. The number of positions in the 8th house
When you are a president, women seem to queue up for you. And, as a president (of a nation or a factory) you seem to have plenty of time available to handle the queue! Maybe I am naïve (sure I am!) but I always wonder where the leaders of nations find the time to have sex with so many girls as in the meantime there is almost a was going on. However, looking at this chart, it is obvious that sexual activity would be part of the deal, no matter if he would be the nation’s number one. You just can’t overlook the 8th house with the personal planets Mercury, Venus and Mars, with the Sun and with Jupiter. The 8th house is the house of life and death and of sexuality. And there is more, like the mentioned Moon-Venus-Neptune combination. And Venus/Mars = Neptune, adding secrets, fantasy and illusions to passions. It looks like the chart of a person who is almost addicted to having sexual affairs.

3. Cheating, not divorcing: prominence of Saturn and fixed signs

Funny that Mrs. Alford mentions that JFK and she kept a certain distance and never kissed. The elevated Saturn on Sun/Moon and conjunct Midheaven tells us that he was above all someone who wanted to be in control, in charge and managing. He was motivated to be respected, to have responsibility and to do his duty. Above all conservative and decent though first of all open, positive and ‘international’ he also managed to keep his affairs from the media, unlike for example Bill Clinton. The difference is time. He wouldn’t have gotten ‘away’ with it in our days. Time, btw, is also mirrored by Saturn.

Fixed signs tend to hold on to what they got or want. People with fixed signs won’t easily give it up, even it is not an ideal marriage.

4. Venus novile Saturn or…
It is a pleasure to have some stability (like a partner).

Here is the chart of JFK with progressions and transits for today. In the sixties, many women all over the world idolized him. They wore a penny with his picture on their chest. They fancied him. He knew how to present himself. On the outside you see a positive open person (Jupiter rising before the Sun), well mannered (Libra Ascendant) and charming (Venus trine Ascendant). Saturn and Moon in Virgo also gave him that cool impression that he shares with 'wanted' men:) like Brad Pitt (see: http://astropost.blogspot.com/2008/09/male-attraction-venus-saturn-taurus-and.html
