Libra and wrestler Stephanie McMahon's chart

The American female wrestler Stephanie McMahon is a Libra, with Moon (conjunct Pluto) and Mars in Libra, too. Her Mars is 'calling' (action at any possible level), just like Mercury, Venus and Uranus. Mars in Libra is the symbol of a fight for two, between equals. Het chart has an important Saturn, first rising outer planet before the Sun. This makes her first of all a business woman. Also, people with Saturn rising before the Sun tend to follow in the footsteps of the parents. Her father is the CEO of the World Wrestling Organization and that explains a lot.
astro_2gw_3997_stephanie_mcmahon_adb.30515.1352
You can see the director screenplay in the chart by means of the 'calling' end dispositor of Midheaven, Mercury (writer), together with Neptune in aspect with the Libra Moon and Venus (the creative/artistic pattern). She writes stories for the wrestling theatre. If you want to see more examples of the pattern of artistic talents in a chart, go to my blog Art-astrology.blogspot.com

Magic Mike XXL in Channing Tatum's chart

Actor Channing Tatum’s chart has Venus Out of Bounds (27d19m20s N). This perfectly demonstrates how important his looks are. There is more in his chart that helped him to become a model. His astrological profile is in line with other attractive males.

Attractive males often have Venus in Virgo or Capricorn and Saturn in aspect with Venus or Ascendant and placements in Taurus and Libra, too. That is what I said and you see the examples in the article :http://astropost.blogspot.nl/2008/09/male-attraction-venus-saturn-taurus-and.html.
Channing Tatum’s hour of birth is unknown. That means that the position of his Moon, Ascendant and Midheaven are unknown. But at least we know that Magic Mike XXL has:

Sun in Taurus!
Venus exactly square Saturn!
Moon in either Virgo or Libra

Male sex symbols have this…

It is not enough to be a good looking, 'cool' guy. This male sex symbol also drew attention. On the day of his birth, Sun in Taurus didn’t make major aspects in sign or orb 5 degrees. That is a ‘calling’ Sun! When Sun's are not aspected in a chart, this person will somehow (anyhow) seek attention.

You also need to be on the right place at the right moment and have a nice progressed chart. In 2005/2006 (debute and break through) his progressed Sun changed sign to make a square with Jupiter. A progressed Sun changes sign when your life style changes. Jupiter is the symbol of success, progression and growth. When the progressed Sun makes an aspect with Jupiter you progress in life. Or grow XXLJ:)

Right now, his progressed chart has Sun square Mars, to highlight his male energy. With Sun square Mars you are likely to be driven, energetic and (if your gender allows it) purely male.

Perhaps his chart with hour of birth reveals more  about his career. Here is his chart without DOB. It is the chart of the day of birth (in the USA).

PS ON OOB VENUS
In England, Marlon King (see Wikipedia) was born on the same day. He is in jail now (for reckless driving) and his football contract has been cancelled following accusations of sexual assault. In 2005 (Progressed Sun square Jupiter, for success, like Chaning) he was top scorer. There is a Mars square Uranus aspect for speeding in this chart, too. You see, it is up to you (and your situation/circumstances) what you do with life. Perhaps it is also in the hour and place of birth and the placement of Mars. And in the fact that OOB Venus lacks control.

An OOB Venus is like a 'calling' Venus (Venus without major aspects): somehow, anyhow you want to enjoy yourself, look good and have fun. It can be done on a high level of esthetics or in the world of entertainment. Or you just want to please yourself.

PS In this chart there is also a Mercury-Pluto-Saturn combination in the chart of April 26, 1980. That is for strategy in communications (and almost in every politician's chart). There are multiple choices to be made and of course they are limited by social circumstances and the hour/place of birth with crucial placements.

Blood Moon written in red, pink and orange

Some see an eclipse as a bad sign. Yesterday I watched the movie Noah and that is in a way a movie about a person who believed the bad signs that he (and only he) saw. It was a movie with a colored vision of humanity divided in the good (obedient veggies) and bad (blood thirsty flesh eaters), with the good doing bad things, too. Anyway, 25 euro and a bucket of pop corn later I knew that the movie Noah would be part of my next post. I study astrology since I was 15 (and I won't tell you when that was!). I know that charts don't 'predict' but 'reflect'. So I also know that the upheaval about a blood moon is a sign reflecting the fear and unrest in society more than vice versa. And yes, I know that this eclipse is full and rather unique. Read NASA about it: http://edition.cnn.com/2014/04/11/tech/innovation/blood-moon/index.html

John Hagee is a conservative christian who 'predicted' fundamental change involving Israel in 2007. Nothing happened and now he gives 2014/2015. It sounds a bit like the Maya calendar prophecies of 2012 and indeed: there are a lot of such prophecies (see Exit Mundi http://www.exitmundi.nl ). This is the chart of his day of birth. Watch the present transit Saturn near inconjunct his Sun and read about the examples on this site: http://astropost.blogspot.nl/search/label/inconjunct%20Saturn It isn't a happy transit.
Although it is a mistake to kill the messenger, it is right to have insight in the visions of a prophet, because what he thinks and what he says might have something to do with his personal ideas and maybe less with your reality. For example, he mentions the tetrades as related to the expulsion of the Spanish Jews, but not that the eclipses occurred AFTER that expulsion, so that it could hardly be called a prophetic eclipse. Yet, people choose to believe what he says. Watch the Sun-Jupiter-Neptune combination of fans, followers and religious beliefs.

I remember how I watched a not moving cloud before the moon on a summer night once. I was the only one interested, on that parking place. Nobody noticed, they watched their burger, their map or their children. In the days before electricity and TV, eclipses may have been spectacular. Today only those interested watch them. And apparently, mr. Hagee is one of them. So are a lot of astrologers.
This full eclipse of April 15 will not be visible in Northern Europe or in Israel at all. Here is the chart for 'Blood moon' in Seoul.

I don't often write about eclipses (see the posts). This one is rare, says NASA and we are lucky to be able to see it (in America, for example). It is in the saros series 16 South and means 'wasted energy' according to Brady. The chart pictures a lot of nervous energy, like the tight Uranus-Pluto square and the combination of Mars, Eris and Saturn. The chart mirrors the worlds tension (Ukraine, Korea, Syria), but doesn't tell what we didn't know already. There is a threat of escalating aggression all over the world and it is hard for those in charge to avoid war at larger scale. Little we can do about it…

We aren't Noah and my garden is too small for an ark. It also doesn't help to worry. Last week I felt completely powerless and sad when I found out that the care takers of the elderly home of my mother simply didn't give her her medication because it 'wasn't on a list' even though they knew her medical condition and history. I found out by accident that you can't feel safe and secure and content, ever. Yet, last night, in spite of the near full moon, I slept like a log for 12 hours and I woke up with pink cheeks. I wish you the same good nights sleep and a happy Pink /orange Moon!

Frederick William II: a Libra loving ladies and art

The love life of Frederick William II of Prussia was rather complicated. He married, had 1 child, divorced, married again and had 6 children. Meanwhile he had 7 children in two morganatic (bigamist) marriages and with Wilhelmine Enke, his official mistress. This is his portrait. It seems that he had a more than average BMI.

Charts show us what we know of people. He was thickset and burly, very clean (body and house). Let's see what his chart says.

ART
The astrological pattern of artistic talent is (as you may see on Art&Astrology) a mixture of aspects between Moon, Venus, Neptune and MC, together with placements of these 4 components in the signs ruled by Moon (Cancer), Venus (Taurus and Libra) and Neptune (Pisces). Frederick William II had Sun in Libra, Moon in Taurus, Venus in Libra, Neptune in Cancer. Venus was square Neptune and inconjunct Moon. The Moon was sextile Neptune. Neptune was sextile MC. That is a complete pattern. He was a talented cellist. Beethoven and Mozart enjoyed his patronage.

WOMEN
Often, the romantic nature of the artist leads to love adventures. The same fantasy, ideals and visions that help an artist to create something that we love, helps him or her to be involved in love affairs. In his chart, symbols of women are of crucial importance. Consider his mighty position as a monarch ...and you know the rest.

1. The Moon is on the Descendant. That is an important position for the Moon in Taurus. It means that his needs were important, too. As the Moon is one of the symbols for women, women are important (according to the chart).
2. Juno is on his MC. Juno is the symbol of the married woman and of marriage. An angular Juno signals the importance of marriage and women in general. MC with Juno links his reputation to his marriages.

Venus square Neptune is one of the 4 aspects that appear to be frequent in the charts of divorced men.

OVERWEIGHT/BURLY
A Taurus Moon square Jupiter (longing for a lot, habit of overeating) and a fanatic Scorpio Ascendant make it harder NOT to eat. In 'Obese and astrology' on Astromarkt I mention these and other astrological factors to blame...but maybe Ceres trine the Ascendant also eases the access to food.
The Scorpio Ascendant is conjunct Pluto opposition Moon and square Mars. This intensifies needs and energy. He had enough of both for all the ladies in his life:).

MISTRESS
He was a Libra born September 25, 1744. Wilhelmine was born on a December 29, 1753.
Here is his chart. The 'transits' are for the day of birth of Wilhelmine Enke. Their charts don't seem to 'match' much.

chart of Friedrich Wilhelm II and position of Wilhelmine Enke

SATURN IN VIRGO
Last but least: Saturn in Virgo rises before his Sun. He was first of all the son of his father, someone with a position in society. Virgo is the clean sign. Perhaps this position of Saturn and the Moon in the sixth house contributed to the need to wash himself, get rid of carpets and keep the air clean?

Deciding about Libra

On the first day of Libra, let's talk about Libra...
The Libra problem is that it is difficult to make choices. That is not just a Libra problem. So why is it so difficult to decide, for Libra in particular? It is because Libra is in the middle of the balance, trying to keep everything up in the middle, without too much depression and overwhelming excitement. When you make choices, you may hurt someone's feelings.

Libra is the sign of balance, they say, but it doesn’t mean that every Libra is in balanced, on the contrary. It is easy to get out of balance, when you are balancing. And that is what Libra does: seeking balance, keeping peace, always trying to avoid fighting, arguing and war. It is the main goal of Libra to keep things nice, fine and in harmony. That doesn’t mean that every person born with Sun in Libra is a peacemaker or no person born under Libra would ever be a soldier.  A sign is not a person and vice versa. When they call you ‘a Libra’ you may have more planets in Scorpio or Virgo than in the sign where your Sun is. You can be any sign and have an important Libra (Moon, Ascendant, Midheaven) that is pointing at beauty, harmony and peace.

Nevertheless: the Sun is the most important object in the sky. When the Sun is in the astrological sign Libra (which is not the constellation, but a season) astrologers consider you to be an aesthetical man or woman. Let us find some of these aesthetical examples and skip the artists. You can find them on Art&Astrology.

You can find something on this blog on the charts of Libra's like:

2.     Margareth Thatcher (yes, a Libra, with an important Mars: http://astropost.blogspot.nl/2010/10/chart-of-margareth-thatcher-sunmoon-and.html )
3.     Serena Williams (a competitive Libra: http://astropost.blogspot.nl/2009/09/chart-of-serena-williams-explaining.html)

I have blogged about the charts of

But  how about Simon Cowell (born October 7, 1959 in Lambeth, London UK, time unknown)? Earlier this year there was a lot of fuzz about a woman (the wife of his friend) being pregnant.  It seems that he earns more than 50 million pounds/year and that is not surprising with a conjunction of Venus and Pluto rising before a ‘calling’ Sun. That is typical for a star (someone drawing attention) to whom earning money comes in the first place.  With Venus square Jupiter, too, he succeeded in it. It also makes him very successful with the ladies…With so many choices life is hard for a Libra:).

Margareth Hone, a Libra astrologer

Margareth Hone was a well known British astrologer and a Libra, born on October 2, 1892. She was known as Peg Hone in the 50's of the 20th Century.
Margareth Hone helped founding The Faculty of Astrological Studies in 1948. She worked with the important British astrologers of her days. What Libra can do for astrology, is finding allies and seeking balance working together and finding diplomatic ways to communicate the meaning of the chart.
She helped to found the UK Astrological Association. She wrote "The Modern Text Book of Astrology".

This is her chart. The transits and progressions are for the day of her death (see Progressed Sun inconjunct Progressed MC and transit Neptune - ruler 8th house of life and death - square Ascendant).

JUPITER URANUS
Most astrologers have a Jupiter-Uranus connection in their charts. It is different and not so obvious in the chart of Margareth Hone. Venus is in aspect with both Jupiter (trine) and Uranus (quintile). The Aquarian Moon (ruled by Uranus) is in minor aspect with Jupiter (67.5 degrees, a half sesquisquare).

Her prominent placements included the Mercury-Saturn conjunction rising before the Sun and the Venus-Chiron conjunction with the Ascendant. I'd say that this Mercury-Saturn points at the importance of science (and ambition to write or give instructions). There is a big trine between Sun, Moon and Neptune-Pluto in the 10th house. Neptune and Pluto are the planets of mystery and the ' supernatural' or say: spiritual. Maybe she was highly sensitive? (Was she involved in theosophy, like Carter?)
The elevated Vesta tells us about dedication, above all.

CARTER
Charles E.O. Carter appreciated her work. This famous astrologer knew Margareth Hone. Astrology (IMO) is symbolized by Jupiter-Uranus. The Jupiter-Uranus connection can be found in the synastry of the charts of Margareth Hone and Charles E.O. Carter.

  •  Her Jupiter is trine his Midheaven (in aspect with his Jupiter/Uranus midpoint).
  • His Uranus is trine her Moon.
As you may notice, Jupiter and Uranus are prominent in the chart of Carter. Jupiter rises before the Sun and Uranus is conjunct Ascendant. Jupiter is half semi square Uranus. Maybe that prominence tells us how important astrology was for Carter. This is his chart

The picture above is Jacob Jordaens idea of Libra (17th Century), found on Wikipedia.

Sun signs in China

In China Scorpio (and Virgo) people find it hard to get a job. Employers prefer Capricorns, or those born under Libra or Pisces. Is that true? It is a crazy story! Can anybody please tell those bosses that people are not their sun sign and that all signs have necessary qualities? French coach Domenech tried to win with a team without Scorpio's and he failed (but maybe not because of that:). It is a pity that China has no free internet (recently Turkey followed into China's footsteps). And that there are so few of them who speak English. Or else they could join the international astrologer's community and see that there is no reason to force Scorpio's to start their own business and become 'the competition'! Think of that, Chinese employers! (and no, I am not a Scorpio, but I hate it when astrology is being abused to blame or hurt 1/12th of the population). It is a cheap alternative for a psychological test and just another way of making up your mind by using an oracle. The nasty thing is bias and prejudice. Those kinds of qualifications are rather silly, but I am afraid that that is the way that astrology is being used by the millions. And not just in China. Most of us started with sun sign astrology and not with the picture of a chart. And isn't it easy to put a sticker on a person and disqualify or not in a second? It is as childish as avoiding red heads or fat people.

Now that I said this I must admit that shortly after problems with a Gemini I had just a second of second thoughts when I met another one! Just one second! I am only human, sorry! I want to put disclaimers at the end of articles about sun signs, telling people that a person is not a sun sign. Hope that it helps, but I have my doubts! It might be too late for Chinese Scorpio's!

Would you avoid to employ a Scorpio? Do you judge people by their sun sign? Just for one second? Do the poll and choose what sign you wouldn't give a job if you were the manager! Or select: I wouldn't select by sign!

Moon inconjunct Venus

Most women are interested in the chart of the man they adore and some men are more adorable than others are. I have written about that before.

But there is a keen difference between the idol and the person that you eventually marry. Men don't get married to Angelina Jolie-look-a-likes and women don't often find men who look just like Brad Pitt. Apparently we can drink the wine with lots of water!

When we 'adore' or 'worship' our partner, we often don't see them as they are. That is why there are so many 'fallen angels' and divorces. People are people and people aren't perfect. Nobody's perfect, in fact. With that in mind I had a look at the chart of someone who married and divorced two times. Each time she said to 'adore' her lover before the wedding and each time she later said that he was no good.

What I found in the chart:

1. Venus is quintile Uranus (for creating an adventure in love). She sort of created a state of 'being in love', each time.

2. Her Venus is 'calling' so love, sweetness, luxury and pleasure was an issue, at any level. She loved perfumes, silk and small plates of luxurious food. She had Sun and Venus in Libra.

3. Moon ruler 1 opposition Saturn ruler 7th house means that she had the tendency to remember the bad things (in her relationship) most and that there was a potential for divorce.

4. The Moon was also inconjunct Venus.

Moon inconjunct Venus is better for men than it is for women and the inconjunction is creating lack of balance. This Moon inconjunct Venus describes a disproportionate need for love and emotion. The Taurus Moon and Libra Venus are placed in signs of style, love and luxury. This aspect combination is like dwelling in the house of love and luxury, eventually with a loss. She always lost her feelings for the loved one because she couldn't find a balance between wish and experience.

It is a rather sad story, because she didn't live long enough to find a nice and suitable husband. After the divorces she found a lover, when she was abroad. He tried to let her buy him gifts in a tricky manner and than it was over. Later she fell in love with an exotic singer who didn't return the feelings. Later, she started to imagine that men fell in love with her immediately (like the doctor or the captain or just a visitor in a restaurant) and everybody listened politely without  saying that what she saw wasn't reality.

She was born with ruler 1 opposition ruler 7 and that prominent Venus quintile Uranus and inconjunct Moon. The desire to fall in love over and over again - even if she had to put dark pink glased on- resulted in disappointment when the man became her husband. It must have been very hard for her, because she was a Libra with Taurus Moon, in need for company. Her first husband left her for another woman and she (and their daughter) never heard of him again. Her second husband developed a ' gambling' disorder and when she died she ordered that he was not allowed to come to the funeral. The beloved Greek remained an illusion forever.

Moon inconjunct Venus...getting out of balance for the need to be loved.
