December Venus and November events

It is amazing how the Venus in Scorpio of Vladimir Putin is trine the Venus in Pisces of Recep Erdogan! This should mean 'mutual sympathy' (at least!) but there are complications. Venus of Erdogan is inconjunct the natal Sun of Putin. On Astromarkt (http://www.astromarkt.net/astrology_to_study-html/synastry-inconjunct-html/ ) I wrote about that:
‘Sun inconjunct Venus synastry: loving a person who just doesn’t seem to deserve it.’
First of all they are (I think) hetero sexual males and second (but not last): they like to rule and don't like to be offended. Their charts are part of this post, but first I like to mention that Venus in Scorpio rules December and that that is good for Scorpio, Pisces, Capricorn and Virgo. There is also Jupiter in Virgo, very nice for Virgo, you'd think. But as Venus in Scorpio and Jupiter in Virgo are not at all in their own sign, they are weakly placed. That is why you might expect to get Christmas presents like towels with a sexy guy or girl or even socks with the text 'I am sexy'. I am just warning! It is because Venus in Scorpio is:
"Challenges in love and relationships...It is all or nothing for you in love. Some persons with this placements had problems and decided it will be a Venus in the desert forever. But when the aspects are good: strong and fanatic love and deeply true!"

Here is the chart of the Turkish' president (source Astro.com) with transits and progressions. The prominent positions of Uranus and Mars is the prominence of the short fuse. Sun in Pisces and Moon in Sagittarius tell us: Your greatest resource is faith’ according to http://universal-tao-eproducts.com/mp/files/sun-moon_pisces-sagittarius.pdf

When the Russian SU-24 was shot, his Saturn was opposite the Moon and his Sun in conflict with transit Mars (inconjunct), Saturn (square) and Neptune (conjunct). Even though the transits reveal a bad move, Erdogan will be supported by Obama and the NATO. Even the migration crises seems to help him (visa free entry to Europe for the Turkish people). It might be that the elevated position of Jupiter in his solar return of 2015 helps him. But it won't last forever. Erdogans progressed Sun will be inconjunct Mars within a year. It looks like transit Mars inconjunct Sun repeating itself. And there will be progressed Sun opposite Saturn and quindecile Neptune. The same transit combination of the incident will come back in progression and show loss and isolation. His progressed Ascendant is now square Uranus (tension) and transit Uranus will be conjunct progressed Ascendant in March 2016, for more tension and surprise.
AND HOW IS PUTIN?
Vladimir Putin has to deal with Pluto (see: http://astropost.blogspot.nl/2014/04/putins-grand-square-and-14th-degree-of.html ) again. A while ago I wrote on Astromarkt (http://www.astromarkt.net/horoscooplezingen-html/horoscoop-vladimir-putin-html/) about his solar return with Sun square Pluto and mentioned stress related to Syria.

Politics are complicated. But the fact that Putin's Neptune is in hard aspect with Erdogan's Sun shows that he was mistaken in the man who doesn't like opponents, just like he doesn't.
Let's move over to VenusOver naar  Venus in december…
1024px-Venus_and_Jupiter_conjunction_March_2012.VENUS IN DECEMBER
Venus  is the planet of beauty, love, fun and everything that is nice. If you want to know how nice your holidays are going to be, check Venus! And for the positive idea, see where Jupiter is. The fact is, that both planets are in the wrong sign in December. Venus is in Scorpio. That makes love intense and rather complicated. Jupiter is weak in Virgo. It is the jolly good Santa bringing you a stockings or shirts! And this time, Venus in Scorpio will be there to add a text like 'I am sexy' on your socks. I am just warning!:)...

Venus in Scorpio is pleasant for Cancer, Pisces, Scorpio, Capricorn and Virgo (double blessed, with Jupiter in Virgo, too, especially those born between September 14 and 17). Those signs know how to handle Venus in Scorpio! Did you know that Bruce Springsteen also has Venus in Scorpio?
On Xmas Eve there is a nice sextile between Venus and Jupiter around 22d54m. If your chart (or progressed chart) has any position in the 23rd degree of Virgo, Scorpio, Taurus, Leo, Aquarius, Gemini or Capricorn, than plan your party on December 24 2015! Venus-Jupiter aspects are great for fun. Also check the midpoint Venus/Jupiter or your natal midpoint Venus/Jupiter for very nice moments (and not just in December). The not so nice effect of Venus-Jupiter might be 'gaining weight' but you won't notice until later:).

Dilemma

Remember the post 'When one chart is up...' with the sub title 'How can you laugh, when you know I'm down'? It is here: : http://astropost.blogspot.nl/2011/05/when-one-chart-is-up-and-other-one-is.html

Now my chart will be up, when my dog's chart will be down, exactly in the summer of 2016, when I consider to make a trip to Eastern Europe. As it will be hot there and there will be many excursions to palaces and city centers, it will be better for the dog and us to leave the dog behind, in a pension with only Frenchies, in the hands of a nice lady. I could think of it as a sort of a vacation for the dog, but I know that while my chart has Jupiter-P Venus during the trip, hers has transit Saturn square Sun and Progressed Sun. And that is an uneasy thought. Especially since the latest example of Saturn with Sun and Progressed Sun was that of a well known singer in my country who ended in hospital on a Greek island, after being hit by a car, while walking on the street. So, maybe that explains my concern.

Usually there is some correspondence between charts of partners and if not, it is a sign of not being in line, at least. Imagine that they don't tell me how sad my dog is (just to keep me happy) and that I'd never know if I hadn't studied astrology... Or am I 'tripping' the bad way?

What would you do? The transits remain the same if I go or if I don't. Perhaps I'd better not? It is just a silly dilemma in turbulent times, I know...

PS the dog was born September 2, 2014 (time unknown)

Valentine's Day 2015

Happy Valentine!

The chart of Valentine’s day 2015 looks good for lover’s fun. Why? Because Venus is biquintile Jupiter and that's good for creative parties and marriages. Those who celebrate their birthday or will be born on February 14, 2015 may have more than one reason to congratulate themselves. It is the weekend before Carnaval and that is a weekend of music and funny events in the southern part of my country.

It is a good day, but of course: not for all of us. Life and love happens to depend more on genes, situation and circumstances beyond our choices than on our character, feelings and astrology chart. And not to mention: age! I had Progressed Sun conjunct Venus when I was 6 and could have met the love of my life!:)

This year’s Valentine’s day starts in Western Europe with Juno elevated conjunct MC. Juno, you know, is the symbol of the wedded wife and marriage. Meanwhile, Venus and Mars in Pisces are in the 5th house of ‘the other gender’ or playmates, so it is a nice chart to start with.

This Valentine’s Day it is not true that blonds have more fun. Any hair color will have a nice Valentine’s day if their birthday is on March 12 or 13, and Venus is on your natal Sun. Peter Doherty , who completed rehab in January this year, is such a lucky person. But, dear readers, there is a DISCLAIMER!
Transits of Venus are fast, go bye in a second and are light hearted. So if you happened to look the other way, you won’t even notice the beauty when she goes. Important things like meeting a partner happen in important astrological times. That is when there are more than 2 indications.

So, Venus should best be accompanied by progressions in case of serious plans in love. If you just want to have some fun or send a kind little present, Venus’ transits will do.

These days, Valentine's Day is the day that you celebrate with your loved one. Once it was a friends' day. And there was a time when Valentine was a secret lover.  Valentine is flexible. So am I. I use not to use sun signs, but let me have some fun and tell you about your sun sign Valentine day:

ARIES
Lots of Valentine's Days, Aries have a Venus in the 12th house position and that is great for sending flowers, chocolate and cards to secret loves.

TAURUS
Celebrating Valentine's Day with friends? Have a party!

GEMINI
You may use Valentine's Day to ask or be asked to get married this year. If you already found your love, why not tell the world about it?

CANCER
Your home is your castle, but maybe this year you should ask your partner for a ride or a flight. If you are single, find your love in a library, a plane, abroad or in a travel agency. No gain, no pain.

LEO
Don't buy diamond rings if you can't afford them!

VIRGO
Looking for passion? Or is the romantic dwell of Venus and Mars in Pisces too much? In that case, go to the cinema and see a movie like Fifty Shades. Afterwards, have an ice cream.

LIBRA
Though you like to take it easy, the best way to demonstrate your love is to serve others this year. My advice is to find an easy and clean way to do so.

SCORPIO
Bet you are the most desirable and passioned lover this Valentine's weekend! Or maybe you always are?

SAGITTARIUS
Love is in the air of the bar, dancing place or cinema for you this Valentine.

CAPRICORN
Talking about love and sex this Valentine weekend? Talk to someone special...

AQUARIUS
Find your love and passion in a bank or in the country this Valentine! And if you have one, show your appreciation!

PISCES
Perfume, roses and a good movie complete Valentine's Day. You are in the mood!

Your personal horoscope can be matched with the advices above, easily, wherever you are.
Keep it cool, be nice and have a great weekend!

Use the links for when you are in the mood for romance…

Midwinter and Xmas charts 2014

Winter solstice's chart is for 23:03 GMT this year (http://www.timeanddate.com/calendar/december-solstice.html) and for December 22, 0:03 in The Netherlands. The chart of that moment shows the Moon rising before the Sun (almost New Moon) and Jupiter as well as Saturn without major aspects within a 5 degree orb.

NEW MOON DECEMBER 2014
Every year in December/January there is a conjunction of the Moon with the Sun in the astrological sign Capricorn. This year it is in the first degree of Capricorn. For those with the first degree of Capricorn, the New Moon is more important than to the rest of us. With this degree in the 10th house, they may expect changes in their public position, for example. When you were born on December 22/23, March 21/22, June 21/22 or September 23/24, the New Moon is in tight aspect with your natal Sun. This is your chance to find out if that really means change starting within a month. That is also true for those who have a 0-1 degree Capricorn, Cancer, Libra or Aries on the horizon (Ascendant-Descendant) or meridian (IC-MC) in the natal or progressed chart. In the 'Beeldgids van de dierenriem' (Helene and Willem A. Koppejan) there is a picture explained by Janduz of a couple holding hands but looking the other way. Another Sabian Symbol is that of a native American chief demanding power. The combination of this points at common or joined responsibilities to be the focus of the month to come. If your chart is being 'charged' by the New Moon, you are maybe about to experience changes in the field of responsibilities at work or at home. And if these changes happen to you, you know that New Moon worked for you:).

Christmas 2014

Most people simply want to know if their Xmas party will be fun. A third of them will check their sun sign to find out beforehand.

The positions of Venus, Jupiter and midpoint Venus/Jupiter are the position of fun and joy and party time. During the days between Xmas and New Year those with Sun, Venus, Moon, Ascendant or MC in the 22nd (21-22) degree of a fire sign (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius) are blessed with Jupiter in Leo Retrograde. This will help them to look back being happy even though there might be a less pleasant person who almost spoiled all the fun. If you were born on or around April 13, August 13 or December 13, this might happen to you.

A pleasant and loving Xmas is for those with a happy Venus related to their charts. Birthdays between May 8 and 18, September 10 and 20, January 8 and 18 are the lucky birthdays of this year. There is also fun around for those with any position in natal or progressed chart between the 18th and 27th degree of the earth signs Taurus, Virgo or Capricorn. Check your chart!

The day after Xmas Venus will be inconjunct Jupiter to remind us of 'too big, too many, too much'. Your weight might understand this:).

If your birthday is around end of October/beginnings of November or between January 25 and 31, the midpoint Venus/Jupiter will be on your natal Sun to make you feel happy with Father Xmas.

Of course, your individual charts and personal (or national) circumstances could keep you away from having a party. Xmas is a community celebration and it is a fact that not everybody will be able to join in. But, even if there is just a little bit of light on the horizon, try to be happy about the fact that this celebration has been worldwide for ages because it is the celebration of light and the sun growing. For those in a nasty period the come back of the sun with more light might help them see that there is hope, even in dark hours. That is what Xmas is about. Here is the Xmas chart of Rotterdam. Every place on earth has it's own Xmas chart.
For a larger picture, click, open in new window

 Christmas trine
Jupiter is trine Ixion, trine Pholus and trine Eris now. This triangle will be back again in 2015. As little study has been done about the dwarf planet Eris and the asteroids Ixion and Pholus, only time will tell what this trine will mirror. Eris is the symbol of disharmony, Ixion is the symbol of the 'bad guys', Pholus is the man who shot himself. Jupiter expands and helps (even our enemies). Trines are symbols of getting away with it and finding easy ways out. Lucky adjustments to be able to deal with nasty guys? Well, to get back to Xmas: maybe this Jupiter helps those with family problems:). I'll be on the look out for what happens during this trine.

HAVE A WARM, PEACEFUL AND NICE DECEMBER PARTY TIME!

The many happy moments in a year

Heavy transits of Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto are most often long felt. Happy transits of Venus don't last long, but may have a long lasting effect when you realize that there are many of such transits. They happen more often than the transits of the slow planets. I just calculate mine for 2015 and I had more than 20 (!) happy transits of Venus (and Jupiter) in one year! And than I didn't count the solar transits (transit Sun conjunct or trine or... Venus or Jupiter). Long term progressions with Venus or Jupiter may be rare, but there is always the joy of the little things in life.

Right now, Venus is in Scorpio and that is a comfort and a joy for those who have the (progressed or natal) Sun, Ascendant, Moon or Midheaven in Scorpio, especially when the placement is in the same degree as Venus is right now.

And how about Jupiter in the 21-23 degree of Leo in November? Transit Jupiter may not always be generous with the kind of help that you want, but at least transits of Jupiter protect a person from more evil. There is always protection or good advice, a remedy or a something else that makes you more positive and happy than you were before. The Scorpio of November 13 has a solar return with Jupiter conjunct Sun, to guide him or her through the year. It is a positive starter!

In times of trouble the passage of Venus may be nothing more than comforting words or caress or a hot cup of tea that makes you feel better, for a while. It is a pleasure to have a transit of Venus when you go to the hair dresser or beautician, but you'll have to come back one day. Transits of Venus symbolize the 'mitigating factors' while transits of Jupiter symbolize the more profound helping factors. Jupiter helps, even when you are a dog. Recent observation: a homeless dog found a boss with transit Jupiter conjunct her Sun (born August 11, 2006, found a boss in the second half of  October, 2014!). On the other hand, I experienced transit Jupiter on my Midheaven twice when I became the owner of a new car. It is about improving conditions/status and contentment, even in bad times*).

All that it takes to fully enjoy the beneficial effect of transits of Jupiter and Venus is: to be aware of little things that make you happy and count your blessings.

Astrology, like statistics never works the other way. Sometimes nothing seems to have happened. Jupiter and Venus aren't Santa or Fairy Godmother. Their transits over your chart are just symbols for being ready for the theme of happiness and joy, even it that comes in the shape of a big fat ice cream or a tasting meal. But you CAN use the ephemeris and plan your party or wedding or celebration on those happy moments in a year. The transits of Venus and Jupiter, however, could also symbolize gaining weight after an overdose of fat and sugar, so be warned:).

Happy moments are to be cherished and remembered, because they help you get trough times of horror, death, illness and loneliness. So, even in dark hours, celebrate and remember life's happy moments. The transits of Venus and Jupiter offer an opportunity to do so.  There are plenty of those moments in a year. Just check the ephemeris!

*)  Recently a family member passed away with transit Jupiter on his AC/MC midpoint as if he was guided on 'the last voyage'.

Chart of the new constitution of Tunesia

On January 26, 2014, roughly at about 11:15 p.m. the Tunesian parliament embraced the new constitution and each other to celebrate the moment. Tunesia is now the first nation with a positive ending of the 'Arabian spring'. The constitution is not based on the sharia and there is much room for the equality of females and males and for freedom of religion. The constitution was in effect with this chart:
The chart shows the moment of joy by means of Venus and Jupiter (the planets of joy) on the meridian, together with Pluto, also telling us about the hope for financial gain and prosperity.

The progressive contents could be attributed to the combination of Sun in Aquarius and Moon in Sagittarius. Midpoint Sun/Moon is square Uranus: motivated for modern times:).

Another important feature is Neptune in the fifth house, not making aspects in sign or orb 5 degrees. This Neptune issues ideals, ideology and religion and says that this will be of importance at any possible level, somehow, anyhow. I studied the periods in history with Neptune in the first degrees of Pisces (see: http://astromarkt.net/neptune-in-pisces.html ) and found a remarkable number of revolutionary activities in those days. That is why I see Neptune here as the representative of the revolutionary ideal that eventually lead to this new, celebrated constitution.

Selecting a wedding date

Today is a special day: the 11th of December of 2013 (11-12-13 in Europ). Numerous couples tried to schedule their marriage at 14h15. Here is more on the chart of that moment in Amersfoort (Netherlands) , when 9 couples will get married. It is a good chart for a wedding.
There are a few reasons why this is a good chart for a wedding ceremony:
1. Venus doesn't make aspects in sign or orb 5 degrees.
2. Jupiter is elevated
3. Mars is also 'calling' (no aspects in orb 5 degrees)
4. Vesta is on the horizon
Venus and Jupiter are always 'in' for a party. The prominence of Venus and Mars points at the passion of that moment. And Vesta conjunct Ascendant presents the perspective of a warm house.

Of course, there are also lesser aspects. Eris in the 7th house might be indicative for the jealousy of not selected couples. Uranus and Pluto on the corner stones of the chart present high tension (the media is interested, there are a lot of couples getting married at once...). And how about Mars in Libra? Sometimes there is just too much 'fire'. But don't worry...

Wedding charts are just one of the charts involved in a marriage. More important are the charts of the partners, their synastry and the shared aspects. It also matters how the progressed charts and transits of each of the partners are. And then the exact day or hour is of minor importance. I got married with Juno on the Ascendant of the wedding chart and on a Venus conjunct Jupiter day. Juno was conjunct Saturn and opposition Mars. It was on December 31 1970, icy cold. Perhaps that is how the marriage remained fresh:).

For a wedding party (and any other party) it is best if it is on a day with an aspect between Venus and Jupiter or with Venus or Jupiter in aspect with the positions in the charts of the partners involved. Don't forget to have a look at the position of Juno!

The Kensington Palace house warming party

Like Prince William I am fond of the music of Bon Jovi, the band with the positive sound:). Bon Jovi will play in the garden of Kensington Palace on November 26, 2013. That is when the house warming party of William and Kate takes place.  I have been there in the Orangery, with my husband and had afternoon tea with Debby, an American astrology friend and her husband. Recommended!

I have written about the talent in the chart of Jon Bon Jovi on Art&Astrology.
Quote:

  • Venus in Pisces
  • Cancer Midheaven
  • Libra Ascendant
  • Moon sextile Venus and quintile Neptune
  • Venus exactly trine Midheaven
  • Moon opposition Midheaven
 That is a complete pattern.

Here is his chart for November 26, 2013. That is when Jon Bon Jovi's Ascendant is hit by nice Venus. Jon Bon Jovi's Jupiter is square Prince William's Venus. Venus-Jupiter: such a synastry is OK for a party!

CERES-JUPITER: too much food?

There are two types of diabetes. Diabetes 1 starts at an early age. Lots of people have Diabetes 2 (starting later in life). The sugar level (hypoglycemia or hyperglycemia) is a problem with both types.
This post is about the chart mirroring a specific problem: the problem of being high (Jupiter) on sugar (Ceres-Venus). This aspect combination also signals an overdose of delicacies and food. I have a few examples for you.

VENUS-JUPITER, CERES-JUPITER
Usually I expect good things to happen when Venus and/or Jupiter come in. They are the 'benefics' of astrology. It is fun when these planets join your (wedding) party. But are their natal aspects, transits and progressions always as nice and sweet as they appear to be? I am afraid not. Sometimes a lot of (Jupiter) fun, pleasure, sweetness and delicacy (Venus) is just too much for the body's food system (Ceres).  Also, Ceres-Jupiter doesn't mean 'benefits of nutrition', apparently. Ceres-Jupiter means: too much food.

Now why do I think that this problem correlates with Jupiter-Ceres in the chart, supported by Libra, Taurus or Venus? For a couple of reasons... I have two charts with data, a link for more charts to study and a few anonymous cases:

1. I happen to know someone with Ceres in the first of Libra exactly square Jupiter in Cancer (both in hard aspect with Aries Point).  She loves chocolate and cookies and generally eats too much. The result is being high on sugar: diabetes2.

2. Robert E. Ferguson died of complications of diabetes2. He was born August 29, 1939 in Troy (Miami) OH at 17.00 hours with Moon inconjunct Ceres and opposition Venus while Jupiter was trine Ceres.  Here is his chart. Just click for a larger picture.

3. I also found the Venus-Ceres-Jupiter combination in the chart of someone who was diagnosed with Diabetes1 at the age of 20.

His Venus (first degree Cancer) is -out of sign - square Ceres (359.96 = 30 Pisces) and Ceres is biquintile Jupiter (orb 1.8d). Venus is septile Jupiter. This, in combination with Ceres inconjunct Midheaven and square Ascendant, shows how important nutrition and insulin was.
Just as Jupiter is considered to be a 'good' planet, the biquintile is considered to be a nice aspect...

4. Someone was diagnosed during transit Ceres opposition Jupiter (both important in the natal chart) ,  2 two years after Venus conjunct Jupiter in the progressed chart (sextile natal Ceres). That is when 'the good life' started.

5. Richard Harris was diagnosed with diabetes in 1982 (transit Jupiter sextile Ceres). Here is the chart for that year:
Click for enlargemen

6. One of the Astro.com examples had Sun/Moon semi square Ceres (and Ceres sextile Jupiter). Diagnosed in 1953, with transit Jupiter conjunct natal and progressed Ceres. Here is the chart:

7. There seems to be reason to believe that Henry VIII had untreated diabetes. See: http://medicalhistory.blogspot.nl/2010/11/henry-eighth-i-am-i-am.html

His Sun/Moon midpoint is in hard aspect with Jupiter,  Ceres is ' calling' (no major aspects) and Venus is the most elevated planet and conjunct MC in his natal chart that you can see here: http://astropost.blogspot.nl/2011/01/tudor-henry-viii-bluebeard.html

LINKS
CERES is an important player in the charts of cooks: http://astropost.blogspot.nl/2009/03/astrological-recipe-for-famous-chef.html
If you would translate Venus-Jupiter-Ceres to daily life you could see the pleasure in cooking, too.  And maybe the tendency to show love by means of distributing candy:)

DISCLAIMER

!Attention! Astrologers are no doctors. A chart only draws a picture that is relevant for the chart owner. So, not all charts of people with Diabetes have this combination. Others with this combination don't have Diabetes. Why not?

It also takes more than one aspect combination to be diagnosed with a (more or less serious) illness or ailment. Ceres or Venus or Jupiter (or even all three) must be of importance in the natal or progressed chart. And it is like always with statistics: it is the percentage, and never 100%.

As far as I know there has never been research on the charts of a few thousands of people with the data of the moment that they heard about having diabetes. The data may not be available. As a chart also should be read with the genes, gender, culture, social/economic situation in mind, it may be hard to come to conclusions. But there are some charts on Astro.com/Astrodienst in the files for those who want to 'dive' into the subject:

Happy New Year! It's Zero Aries today.

When the Sun leaves Pisces and enters Aries, a new cycle stars. The first degree of the astrological zodiac is Zero Aries (0-1 Aries) and the last one is 30 Pisces (29-30 Pisces). The exact moment of Sun in 0 Aries is the moment of astrological New Year.

It is an interesting and complicated Astro New Year's chart of 2013!
The chart of this New Year has a Yod (Jupiter with Saturn-Pluto) and the Moon-Uranus square is in aspect with Pluto. Meanwhile there is quintile Venus-Jupiter.

All charts have different positions of Ascendant and MC. That is why all positions are in different houses. But all charts have:

- Venus quintile Jupiter
Great for a party or a wedding! This aspect creatively increases fun and pleasure. It is a 'sweet sugar, sweet candy' aspect. The nasty side of a Venus-Jupiter aspect is getting fat and ... diabetes.  But not yet, not today. It might be a sign for a creative (quintile) solution (Jupiter) regarding money (Venus) and banks (Venus).

- Moon square Uranus
This will be mirroring the need for change, surprise, shock and news (again and again, sometimes disturbing). It is the aspect of emotional detachment and a moment of panic. Both Moon and Uranus are in aspect with the Yod.

- There is a Yod with Jupiter on the Apex. Saturn and Pluto are inconjunct Jupiter in Gemini. Governments and institutions are trying to find a balance in the budget, in taxes and in the world of money business (banks). Will the finger pointing at Jupiter point at hope and growth? Does this Yod reflect the success of austerity?

I think of what happens in Cyprus. The plan was that money of the people should be taken away in order to save the banks. The people didn't buy it. The parliament voted against it. The Euro dropped. It was communications with a loss involved. And now what? Those who studied economy don't know what to do next, it seems. There is a continuous stream of bad banks, countries in trouble and increasing pain for the citizens. Pluto in Capricorn and Saturn in Scorpio seem to cooperate to create ' die hards' , survivers only. Jupiter often is a help in times of trouble. Jupiter is the symbol of protection. Pope Francis used the theme of protection (Saint Joseph) in his inauguration speech. He pointed at the importance of helping each other and helping the poor, the common people. There is something in this Yod that reminds me of those words.

Jupiter is part of the Yod. Jupiter is quintile Venus. Let's see if the quintile as creative as it is supposed to be... Maybe then it is a real happy new year in Europe!

Chart of a skydiver (Baumgartner)

Update: he did it! On October 14.
This is the chart of Felix Baumgartner, the skydiver who was about to jump today, from almost out of space. Here is the news with life video. And see that they say it is been called off. Another delay...gusty winds this time.

What kind of a chart does a dare devil have? Evil Knievel's chart shows caution (Moon-Saturn, or else he wouldn't have become that old). This chart, with Saturn rising before the Sun, shows the importance of caution and ambition. He is about to fall out of the sky in New Mexico, in an attempt to go supersonic from a record altitude (23 miles high). Saturn represents 'falling, but still, transit Saturn opposition natal Sun (and semi sextile Uranus), doesn't seem the right moment to me (it would never be the right moment FOR me!) I know that he wanted to jump on October 5 and weather conditions weren't right then. Maybe that was Saturn, too... And how about T Neptune inconjunct Uranus? A perfect aspect for a hype.

Here is the chart. In the natal chart Mercury and Uranus don't have aspects in sign or orb 5 degrees. The Sun inconjunct Uranus and conjunct Saturn might mirror a sort of a lack of freedom or indepence and willing to break free (or to break records, in this case:).

For now:  watch progressed Venus inconjunct Jupiter (a party, with a 'but'), and transit Jupiter opposition Mars (a success? a lot of drive?). We don't know his hour of birth and can only guess about the aspects with his Ascendant and Midheaven. Transit Saturn is opposition Sun, so maybe this jump really ends a period of life. Maybe it is the limit.

May he land safely, whenever he jumps.

Another lottery winner's chart (t&p's)

Many millions can be won in the lottery, but only a few lucky guys have a chance to win. I have one more lucky date of birth to add to the list. It is June 25, 1946. Someone born on that day bought a lucky number. Above is the chart of the lottery moment. The green positions (transits) are for the day of birth of the winner.

Just like the other examples of winners of the lottery (see link), this man has a Jupiter-Uranus connection in the natal chart.
a. Jupiter is almost exactly trine Uranus.
b. The Sun is semi square Jupiter/Uranus midpoint.
More of us have such nice combinations (especially astrologers). Still we don't all win millions. Some of us because we don't even try. Most of us, because there can only be one.  It takes a lot of luck on the specific day. This guy had:

IN THE NATAL CHART
Moon in Taurus (maybe that is a help?:)

Jupiter trine Uranus
Sun semi square Jupiter/Uranus
             +
Jupiter semi sesquisquare Pluto (67.5d) (This aspect combination will be repeated in transit and means: lot of money or great value/success)

Uranus is important (rises before the Sun). (Transit Uranus was just past square Sun in March)

He has Mars semi square Jupiter.

That is in line with the other winners (see Astromarkt). They use to have a Jupiter-Uranus combination AND a Mercury-Jupiter or Mars-Jupiter aspect.

PROGRESSIONS (chart of 1 day after birth, valid for 1 year after birth)
Progressed Mercury sextile Progressed Venus means ' good notice'.

PROGRESSIONS AND TRANSITS
1. Transit Jupiter square Progressed Pluto (resonating the natal Jupiter-Pluto semi sesquisquare)
When a natal combination is being repeated by transit and/or progression, this transit or progression is more important than usual! Jupiter-Pluto is the combination of success.

2. Transit Venus inconjunct Progressed Jupiter (Venus-Jupiter is a party with a loss or getting out of balance involved; too much, too much)

TRANSITS
  • Transit Saturn square Mercury (he was rather late with his announcement. Saturn-Mercury apparently doesn't frustrate the chance to win, just communicating or getting to know it).
  • Transit Venus and Transit Mercury were sextile Saturn; cautious and careful…late, but in time
  • Transit Ceres square Saturn and transit Jupiter square Ceres: the ups and downs of harvest, dynasty…
  • It was on a Transit Sun trine Pluto day (a day to be a winner, the easy way)
  • Transit Pluto was inconjunct Venus: hey! That is the theme of earning or gaining money (Venus-Pluto) with an inconjunct (out of balance, a loss involved). Maybe he had to start donating and supporting from the moment that he had to make public that he won such a lot of millions.

LESSON?
What can you learn of this?
A. That it would be nice to see the hour of birth, of course:)
B. That it helps to have a Jupiter-Uranus natal and a Jupiter-Pluto transit combination
C. That you need not worry too much about transit Saturn with Mercury. You can even win the lotto on such a day!
D. That the transit Venus-Pluto inconjuncts aren't that bad when you win too many millions and your financial situation gets an overly positive balance:)
E. It is important to have at least 3 lucky transits and/or progressions.

Astrology doesn't work the other way. Even if you would have all the lucky aspects, there is a small chance to become a multi millionaire just like that.
For your comfort: too much money is worse than too little, says this site...

Jupiter trine Pluto

Monday, March 12 Jupiter is exactly trine Pluto. That is astrologic for something
real big.
That is why I like to add this 'Bacchus' of Rubens every time that I think of Jupiter-Pluto. Because that is what happens when you grow the intense way, perhaps:).

Last time that Jupiter was trine Pluto (end of October 2011) a European agreement in Brussels raised trust on the financial market (but not for long!). Now is the second time and maybe it is a second chance. According to Chairman Van Rompuy last Friday (a day with Sun square Pholus) the crisis in Europe was then at a turning point (having reached an agreement about Greece again). Jupiter is the symbol of trust and hope and growth. Pluto is the symbol of intensity, power, money and values. According to Reinhold Ebertin in COSI the Jupiter-Pluto combination is socially related to economy and speculating. A trine makes it easy to intensify trust and cultivate power.

I know,  it is also Mercury retrograding time. I am curious about the way that this could alter the process of stimulating the economy. Meanwhile my optimism is growing, perhaps because that Jupiter-Pluto trine is trine my natal Mercury (and my Mercury is in aspect with Jupiter/Pluto midpoint). So let's see and take the opportunity to see a brilliant Venus-Jupiter conjunction in the sky knowing that this conjunction is trine Pluto.

Yes, this is the perfect time to observe the effect on the market and for yourself to see if this Venus-Jupiter-Pluto combination 'touches' your chart (Sun, Moon, MC, Ascendant, progressed Sun, progressed Moon: whatever near 9.35 degree of the fixed signs or in Capricorn or Virgo, for example or if you like: try the semi- and sesquisquares*).

Today's babies and those who are born with Jupiter and Pluto or the midpoint Jupiter/Pluto related to their Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Ascendant or MC might be interested in the earlier post:
Astropost: Jupiter/Pluto midpoint and aspect combinations
Well, the babies have to wait a bit longer, of course!

*) If you don't know much about degrees, just calculate your chart on Astro.com and see (it is for free). Birthdays involved: around April 29, August 1, January 29, November 1, December 31, September 1 etc.

Venus-Jupiter conjunction trine Pluto

Venus with Jupiter, that is a couple that really makes you happy! Maybe watching the conjunction at sunset on March 13, 2012 will be enough to make you feel glad. When the sky is clear you will be able to see the brightest ' stars' in the sky in the West. Here is the map:

As bright and beautiful as those planets are (from our point of view, feet on earth), as lovely is the meaning of the conjunction in astrology. Venus is the symbol of all that is nice, comfortable, pleasant and beautiful. Venus is love! Jupiter is the symbol of support, prosperity, being happy and successful. So when the two meet, there is a chance to have a party. On March 13 there is even more chance of a feeling happy, because the planets are very close, at the same 'level'. Two bright planets together...It will be a very lucky moment to get married.

VENUS-JUPITER: HAPPY PARTY TOGETHER!

The baby born on March 13 must be a fortunate and popular one, especially when Venus or Jupiter are places on the angles! The conjunction is good for getting a supporting partner later and for social successes in general. But if you were born on or around April 29, August 1, January 29, November 1, December 31 or September 1 you might also benefit from this conjunction in the 10th degree of Taurus. You will also feel good if you have an Ascendant in the 10th of Taurus, Capricorn, Virgo, Pisces or Scorpio. And maybe there is a bonus for those with the MC in those degrees. Even if the Venus/Jupiter conjunction is semi square or sesquisquare your Sun, MC or Ascendant (in the 25th of Gemini, for example), there might be pleasant moment on March 13. So if you want a have a party, and if the transit of Venus-Jupiter hits your chart, start sending invitations! And why not get married? I read about a 100 year old bride and checked her data. She married with Progressed Venus conjunct Progressed Jupiter on the day that she celebrated that she was 100 years old! Prince William and his Kate had a great party when they got married with aspects of Venus and Jupiter (see link).

POSITIVE MARKET?
There is another possible feel good moment: for finances. On October 26/27 last year there was a European Top in Brussel and transit Jupiter was trine Pluto. The good news about agreements had a positive effect on the financial market. It seems that there is another top meeting on March 9, maybe with a good effect for the market of March 13, if Jupiter trine Pluto still means growth...

The model in the chart of Gisele Bundchen

Wiki Commons: picture by Gabrielle Marchi
Gisele Bundchen is the best earning model in the world. A composition of 7 indications in her natal chart is resonating this. The nicest one is Sun/Moon (midpoint of motivation, heart and soul) semi square Venus/Jupiter (party, lucky woman, popularity) and Pallas (a female icon). That combination is highlighting the successful female icon that she is. All charts should be seen in the light of culture, genes, gender and  situation. Gisele Bundchen's mother adviced her to become a model, she was trained to be a model. Like many other successful women, Gisele Bundchen has the Moon in Scorpio and this Moon*) is elevated and opposition Pallas: she became a role model, a public person. I read that Gisele bought a hotel and that is one of the other ideas related to a Moon in 10.

Her first picture on the cover of Vogue in July of 1999 was supported by a transit of Jupiter with Pallas, Sun/Moon and Venus/Jupiter (a fortunate transit that stimulated the already nice combination in the natal chart). She also had transit Uranus opposition Sun (change, being in the news), with transit Pholus square Progressed Moon (soon after Pholus conjunct Midheaven: it means a turning point). Here is the natal chart:

1.  Just like other beautiful women, she has Venus in aspect with Saturn and Pluto in her chart (Venus is exactly trine Pluto and square Saturn). See http://astropost.blogspot.com/2010/09/charts-of-beautiful-women-and-venus.html

2.  Her Sun doesn’t make major aspects in sign or orb 5 degrees. This ‘calling’ Sun is the symbol of performance, being a star and drawing attention at any possible level (perhaps even as a leader).

3.  The Sun is angular (on the Descendant), and that again places her in the center of attention of others, but in a distant way (just like models in magazines do).

4.  Her Mars and Jupiter are also ‘calling’. The combination of Sun, Mars and Jupiter in prominent positions mirrors a lot of energy and drive and is a key to success. When Mars is ‘calling’ you tend to be a workaholic or very active (perhaps in sports). Gisele Bundchen first wanted a career in sports).

5.  There is a pattern of artistic talent in her chart: Moon on top, in hard minor aspect with the opposition of Venus and Neptune (connected to the Libra Midheaven = a career in the sphere of style and beauty and balance). She performed in two movies, too, but of course you need to have sense of style, feeling for what the people want and you need to be able to ‘do as if’ if you are a model.
BTW Venus and Neptune are at the beginning/end (on either side) of the bowl figure of her natal chart. Venus-Neptune could be seen as the art (Venus) of photography (Neptune).

6.  Venus/Jupiter=Sun/Moon=Pallas seems to reflect being motivated by a pattern of fortune and fun. Sounds good…

7.  Jupiter quintile Uranus ruler 2 might have attributed to the sudden windfall but is also telling us that she is a creative inventive person.

Those are seven good reasons in addition to the Moon in Scorpio on top, valid for a successful model with feeling for posing, drawing attention, working hard to look good and with other keys to success (like having the energy and enjoying it).

CONTROVERSY
Gisele Bundchen wanted to tell the world how important breast feeding is (see Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gisele_Bündchen) and said that breast feeding should be a world wide law. How interesting that Ceres (symbol of nutrition) is exactly square Saturn (symbol of law, restriction and responsibility) in her natal chart!
