Minor aspects, major effect and Kim Kardashian's transit Uranus

I like November, especially when I am in my house:). Outside it is stormy weather and it smells a bit like decay and rotten leaves. It is getting darker all the time.. So it is nice when there is something light and funny to talk about this time. It is about Kim Kardashian's behind, of course. Everybody is talking about that picture. So why not me? I wondered if there was a Uranus (typical this name) transit to explain the fact that the world is so obsessed about one woman's oily bottom. And of course, there was. It is a minor aspect and it is a special one. The quindecile (165 degree aspect) is the aspect of obsession and strong focus. The world has it's focus on her, right now. It is unexpected, it is controversial, people laugh about it and it is in the news. What more do you need to cry: Uranus? 

Kim Kardashian’s birth chart is AA-rated on Astrodatabank, so the time must be right. With that Pluto rising before the Sun, and Moon opposite Jupiter on the meridian, her chart 'covers' the popularity and fame. I wouldn't dare to point at the Ascendant for the behind, but it IS a Sagittarius Ascendant with Jupiter prominently on MC! Maybe you see more clues to the story. If you do, tell me, please. Such a transit on the right moment makes me happy to use minor aspects.

Netherlands in the World Cup 2014

Yesterday, the Netherlands won the match against Costa Rica by means of penalty. At the moment of the official end of the second half, the Descendant of the that moment and place pointed at the Pluto of Louis van Gaal, indicating stress. But, it was a transit Sun - Jupiter day, so he won. Now what about Netherlands-Argentina? The chart of the official final moment on July 9, 2014 compared with the positions of the coaches (Scorpio Alejandro Sabella and Leo Louis van Gaal) shows Sabella's Jupiter square MC while it is Saturn semi sextile MC for Van Gaal on a transit Sun - Neptune day. Also transit Jupiter is trine Sabella's progressed Venus (signaling party time). So, I am not optimistic for the Netherlands. However, this method is experimental and Van Gaal's transits of Uranus surprised us and gave him the title 'Genius' (very well in line with Uranus). So don't bet your money on it! And if you'd like another result: there are many many predictions, even by animals. I do, because I hope that the team of Van Gaal wins (sorry, Argentinos!)

Netherlands-Mexico June 29, 2014 and astrology

An animal (a meerkat, see YouTube) predicted that The Netherlands will win Netherlands - Mexico on June 29. Should I believe him?  

I try to find out if it helps to use the Midheaven of the final moment as the symbol of 'the result'. The nature of the planets in the coaches' natal chart 'hitting' this Midheaven could give some insight in their status quo on the final moment. 

The Mexican coach Herrera has his best moment about half an hour after the official final moment of the match. That means, that if it is even at the final moment, Mexico could win the battle later. Herrera has transit Jupiter close to a trine with his natal Sun. That is what the Spanish coach had in 2012! But, I read that he is already certain of his contract, even if he loses, as a sort of a reward for the results up to now! That is reason for contentment already! 

I would be more positive about the chances for the Netherlands if I didn't know that transit Mars is exactly conjunct Louis van Gaal's natal Neptune. I hope that he catches a cold and is not disappointed at all. 

Of course, there is no hour of birth for the coaches, there are two teams of 11 persons and there is a whole nation supporting the teams... It is not a prediction, it is an experiment. Up to now Louis van Gaal's team and tactics keep giving amazing results. So don't bet on it, please. Just ask yourself what you would think of it if you saw the charts (they are on Astromarkt: http://astromarkt.nl/nederland-mexico2014.html )

PS Any video of an animal predicting that Mexico will win? And is that animal, btw, living in Mexico?:) This Mexican dog thinks it will be Holland! In fact, almost everybody thinks so. So...perhaps this is really the last fase of the experiment to see correspondence between the results of a football match and the chart of that moment (related to the coaches' charts). I actually hope so, because it is a lot of work and I don't really like football.

Schapelle Corby's chart today

Here are relevant charts of Schapelle Corby, who is allowed to leave prison today. She has to stay on Bali until 2017. Below are the natal-transit-progressions, the natal-transit and progressed-transit charts. Her chart with Mercury sesquisquare Neptune is one of the examples of a case full of doubts (for more of those…)

You will see that progressed Venus has not yet reached Midheaven (a big wish to come true later). Transit Venus is on the IC (joy) now. Transit Saturn square progressed Sun describes the end of a period in life (and some limitations). Transit Jupiter was on Midheaven in September 2013 and hasn’t reached Midheaven for the second time, yet. That will be in April 2014. Today is in between these moments.

Schapelle could have been sentenced to death, but being a foreigner helped her survive. She drew attention (Sun conjunct MC) and she had an excited or different behavior, too (Moon-Uranus). As she was good looking, they noticed her (Sun-Venus) and she had bad luck (Saturn related to Aries Point). All three of them have enemies and followers. Nicholas, who died a cruel death and was a person of cruel measures himself (Mars-Saturn and Pluto are prominent), is now considered a Saint. Martin Luther King, who did not seem to have lived the life of a saint, is still a worshipped person. And there are many people who believe that Schapelle Corby is innocent and even more who think that 4 years in an Indonesian prison is about enough. She wrote a book about her trial. I think it is a rather cynical reflection of the prominence of Mercury and Jupiter in her natal chart, that she is writing in a foreign jail. The Australian astrologer Helen Hartley published the reading of the chart of Schapelle Corby (born July 10, 1977 at 11:50 AM in Brisbane). I am not sure if that reading helps to liberate Schapelle. You find it here:

Then Suzann asked me if she would be released sooner and I answered:

"Hi Suzann, the recent conviction of a British woman doesn't give much hope. There is Jupiter transit her Midheaven between September and May 2014. That might improve her situation. It will be between May 2015 and December 2017 that transits of Uranus and Pluto on MC reflect changing conditions. I hope for her that she doesn't have to wait till then!, but in 2018 MC conjunct Progressed Venus at least gives hope for better times in future."

The MC inconjunct aspect

Inconjunctions with the MC (Midheaven) have a special effect on the status, the condition, the career or the 'name and fame'. Although this doesn't HAVE to be in a disruptive way, the lack of balance creates a certain danger.
The inconjunct of Progressed Midheaven mirrors an unbalancing development in the career or in the position in the world.
When it is an inconjunct by transit, the inconjunct shows what happened to influence the position in the world.

I have a number of examples of this in Astropost.blogspot.com (see the links in the article on Astromarkt.net) illustrating the reflection of inconjuncts with MC. Of course all these examples are strictly related to the individual  of the example. Here I like to mention some more personal experiences.

a. I had the inconjunct with Progressed Midheaven and Pluto in a very stressed situation.

b. I had the inconjunct with Progressed Midheaven and Uranus in 2003. Two exciting things happened. I had a disturbing nightly anonymous nasty phone call of a stranger who apparently had access to my medical files. And I considered starting a website, but (…inconjunct) I didn't know how.

c. Later my brother offered to help me with the implementation of the very first pages of the first version of my site Astromarkt.net and gave me a date for it 6 weeks before the start with Progressed MC inconjunct Uranus, soon after T Uranus conjunct Jupiter and T Saturn inconjunct my Progressed Midheaven.  As a naive starter I forgot not to use my name. Loss of status was included!:)  (In my country they don't take you seriously anymore when you 'believe' in astrology)

d. On May 17, 2013, Mars was inconjunct my Sun and Midheaven. It was the day after my arrival in Rhodes and I slept almost all of that day (still recovering of flu and with  heavy pain in my back). Inconjunct Mars is an energy drain.

Richard Nixon's accurate chart

The chart of President Richard Nixon, provided by Astro.com, has an AA rating. That means that the time of birth is amazingly accurate:). I can see that. On the day that he had to resign there were 6 exact transits:
1. Transit Saturn exactly inconjunct IC and semi sextile Midheaven
Saturn and Midheaven together symbolize an end (Saturn) with a loss involved (inconjunct). Sometimes people fall during a transit of Saturn or break a bone.

2. Transit Jupiter square Midheaven
Jupiter helps, always. Nixon was not prosecuted for Watergate (he received a pardon by his successor Ford). Jupiter-MC is a classical aspect for retirement.

Saturn and Jupiter together reflect ups and downs. Often a combination of Saturn and Jupiter can be seen in the chart during a removal, especially in combination with the IC (house 4: domestic situation). He had to leave the White House.

3.   Transit Node square Ascendant
A difficulty between the community or family and the personal situation...

4.  Progressed chart: Jupiter inconjunct Midheaven
He was blessed, but...he had to give up his position.

5. Progressed chart: Pluto semisquare Midheaven (challenges in public)

6. Transit Mars opposite Chiron (hurt)

Those where only the six exact transits for that day, August 9, 1974. There were more indications at the time, like transit Uranus square Neptune (a hype), Progressed MC semi square Pluto (frustrating challenges and stress) and Transit Pluto inconjunct Progressed Venus (loss of money or value, difficult choices to make with a loss involved). When there is an important moment in life, there are usually more than 3 important transits or progressions.

Jupiter when you are ill

A chart must be read given the circumstances and situation. You can't just expect happiness and good luck when Jupiter hits your chart. Jupiter is the symbol of good fortune and progress, but sometimes people die during an exact transit of Jupiter. There is a reason for that. Jupiter is the symbol of the wise man, the doctor, someone to help you and judge and guide you. Jupiter is the symbol of the verdict and the diagnosis. Doctors are human beings. Sometimes they are wrong. And sometimes doctors help you, when you are dying... Here is a personal example.

ILL: SATURN
I have told you about my mother (83), who had aging problems (transit Saturn square Sun) and then fell (transit Saturn on her MC) and broke her hip on two places. Saturn is for falling and breaking and old people tend to break bones easily. Next she had surgery. They placed screws and pins. They made a picture of it on the 8th day and said it was OK now and she could try to walk again. But, she started to complain about increasing pain and the exercise was a torture. Because of the fact that her knee had swallowed they made a photo of her knee and than said nothing was wrong with her leg (...). But it was.
One week later the doctor in the nursery had to fight to get my mother back to hospital (the surgeon insisted that her hip was fine...). He insisted that a complete photo and blood analysis would be made. Then, finally they noticed the reason for her complaints: one of the pins had moved and hit the bones! It is rare, he said. And he added: you have had bad luck. That is exactly the case. She had Saturn with Sun and MC and she has a natal  chart with Sun inconjunct Saturn. Transits between planets or lights that make an aspect in the natal chart, are noticed...

BETTER WITH JUPITER?
Today transit Jupiter is trine her Sun and soon enough there will be an inconjunct with her progressed Midheaven. Jupiter is her ruler Ascendant. The Sun is ruling the 8th house of life and death.

The inconjunct mirrors a ' but '... and I know what else it might mirror. They don't know what to do next, yet. But, fortunately (...) , now she gets morphine to ease the pain, at last. It's no good for a woman of her age to be sedated. It's no good for an old person to have surgery, again. There is a big risk that she will never be able to live independently again. And there is a risk that she won't survive it. But what else can they do?

I hope that Jupiter really helps her. No more pain, please. As Jupiter is also making trines with my Progressed MC and Jupiter will be square my Mars next Wednesday, there is still hope. Maybe she can return home and walk.
Meanwhile I do what Jupiter's do: give her some support.
