Lance Armstrong, doping and T Jupiter inconjunct Sun

With transit Jupiter inconjunct progressed Sun, Lance Armstrong has again been accused of using/promoting doping. Again I see the Sun-Jupiter connection in doping cases. There are other transits at the moment (Transit Saturn conjunct natal Venus for limiting joy, transit Uranus trine Jupiter for a relief, transit Uranus trine Neptune, transit Node semi square progressed Mars etc. etc.) and of course there is more in life than a repeated accusation coming from someone who has been found guilty of using doping, but the fact is that Sun-Jupiter transits and progressions keep popping up when doping is involved (or when someone is being found ‘ positive’).

The effect of the inconjunction has been described here.. You can read the inconjunction with Jupiter as: ' success and support, but...' and than start looking for what is getting lost or what it is that you have to let go. Bernard Kohl, Sun-Jupiter and Orange

Re: the news about the four year ban instead of life for Bernard Kohl, who quit cycling anyway, here are the links to the posts about his case and the Sun-Jupiter connection with doping news. The judgement and ' conviction' come with transit Neptune semi square his natal Sun and that means disappointment. Four years is a long time when you are 28.

Jupiter was important in his birth chart and at the time when he was found positive. Jupiter is the symbol of positivism and that is usually nice. But being found positive in a doping case is less positive:)

Sun-Jupiter aspects in the natal chart are reflecting the will to succeed and enthousiasm. But what if you want to succeed and everybody else wants it, too? That is where it might become easy to help (Jupiter) yourself (Sun) to be better than the rest. The nice thing about Sun-Jupiter is that you allow yourself and others to have some space. The bad thing about Sun-Jupiter is that you allow yourself (or others) a bit too much. And there you go. Easy aspects with Jupiter make it easy for Jupiter. With hard aspects with Jupiter it is harder and it takes more effort to succeed. Landis, Beltran and Marion Jones have the opposition between Sun and Jupiter. Oppositions are like question marks: can I succeed by myself? That is the question in question.

It is also hard to live up to your means with Sun-Jupiter (maybe because you think that you deserve it?:). No kidding: it depends on your moral and level of ambition if you want to win using drugs or not. And people like you and me don’t often get the advice to use some doping, not even with a Sun-Jupiter aspect in the birth chart. Neither do those with a Sun-Jupiter aspect have something to do with the colour orange (like the members of the Dutch royal family 'Van Oranje'; most of them have a Sun-Jupiter aspect!). I have a quintile between Sun and Jupiter and my sites are always orange for some reason:) And for some reason I like to end this post in a positive way...So if YOU are a Sun-Jupiter: stay positive, keep learning and traveling and stay tuned.

Floyd Landis and the negative positive Jupiter

Jupiter is the symbol of 'positive' influences. But some people, with Jupiter at hand, are being found positive in doping cases! That is what happened to cyclist Bernard Kohl, athlete Marion Jones, cyclist Rasmusssen, cyclist Beltran and cyclist Floyd Landis. They all had a Sun-Jupiter aspect (minor or major), just like Floyd Landis has. There are links to the posts about them (scroll down).

ARREST WARRANT
Today Floyd Landis is in the news with Uranus trine and Neptune square the progressed Sun. There is an international arrest warrant for him, for data hacking. Here is the chart (no hour of birth) with a tight Saturn square Uranus, the combination of restricted freedom. This arrest warrant will surely limit his freedom... In my files (click to see them) I found this about Floyd Landis, before:

“His Sun opposition Jupiter says that he wants success and it IS a success aspect, but in some cases the opposition might work out as not being honest”

I like to add that an opposition is often related to 'the other side of' (in this case: success).

WHY JUPITER?
Jupiter is the symbol of support, confidence, coaches, doctors, advisors and coaches. Jupiter symbolizes growth, progress and everything that 'helps you on the way' (horses, cars, and sponsors). A conflict with Jupiter makes it difficult to be happy as you are. In some cases it leads to wanting to be prosperous no matter how.

MORE EXAMPLES:
Marion Jones, born October 12, 1975 in Los Angeles: Sun opposition Jupiter. This is the second tight aspect in her chart. It is the same affliction as in the charts of Floyd Landis and Rasmussen (bikers, who did not exactly follow the rules as well). It says that they want to succeed no matter how, and that it might be a success with question marks...

Of course there are more indications leading to the events (as you can see in the posts about the persons involved), but I think that it is amazing that in 5 cases of doping, there was a tight conflict with Jupiter.
Jupiter can be positive in a negative sense, too...
