George W. Bush and Eris on 09-11

On September 4, 2011, National Geographics interviews GW Bush about 09-11's impact. He says that he never wanted to be a President of war. But, on 09-11 his progressed Sun was inconjuct natal Eris, symbol of discord (and the start of fights). The attack of foreign terrorists is one of the ways that Eris migt manifests herself in the chart of the leader of the most powerful nation on earth. 

There were more transits and progressions,  of course . One of those is the aspect that is causing problems for Obama now: transit Neptune inconjunct Progressed Sun. The two joined inconjuctions on 09-11 show the loss of balance and how GWB was being struck by the event. See that post about the charts of the president and his wife on September 11. When I wrote that, I hadn't included Eris, yet. Here is his chart with transits and progressions and... with Eris...

Uranus and Pholus on the Ascendant are reflecting the sudden shocking turning point and his tension. The chart shows only his view and his personal reaction, not a predictable event. Who could have guessed that the USA would be attacked in NY City on September11? Even the fact that the chart of the President has more than 3 difficult aspects within a couple of weeks doesn't mean that it 

a) would happen to others than himself 

b) would happen in NY 

c) would happen on 09-11 (unless the birth time of this AA rated chart would be corrected so that the progressed Ascendant would be exactly square natal Uranus). 

You know, when he had problems with his knee in July of 1995, and had to quit jogging, there were heavy transits of Uranus and Pluto and in the progressed chart the Midheaven was conjunct Uranus. It was shortly after a shocking event in American history. On April 19, 1995 (Oklahoma City bombing) with transit Uranus inconjunct the Sun of G.W. Bush and transit Eris opposition Jupiter.

NATO's birthday today

Today (April 4, 2011*) Nato is 62 years old. Celebration time? The Solar Return Sun is conjunct Jupiter, and opposition Saturn and that is a sort of an astrological ' up and down'. The alliance is involved in Libya and some members don't agree...This is the chart with transits and progressions.

The chart of NATO is perfect for a military organisation because of the prominence of Mars, the tight trine of Sun and Pluto (authority, will to win).

- Mars is rising before the Sun and Venus. Mars is the planet of the military.

- Sun in Aries, ruled by Mars with Moon in Gemini (=commucating about arms)

- Sun trine Pluto is the tightest aspect: there is a will to be strong and the nature is 'defense' and ...politics

- Jupiter inconjunct Saturn shows that there is a somewhat disproportionate hierarchy and that there may be restrictions when it comes to 'growing'

Transit Neptune now opposition natal Saturn resonates the heavy disappointment about the missing consensus about Libya.

The progressions of Lily Allen

This is the drawing of the natal and progressed positions for Lilly Allen, with transits and without hour of birth. The progressions show us how the changing progressed sunsign and the transit of Jupiter and Pholus with the progressed Sun, in the same period of time, turned her into a celebrity. 

I read that Lily Allen created a MySpace account in November 2005 (with transit Saturn square natal Sun) to launch her music, after being introduced  to London Records - without results - using her father's connections in 2002*). That was just before her progressed Sun sign was changing. When the progressed sunsing changes, life changes. 

One month later, in December 2005 transit Pholus was opposition progressed Sun and transit Jupiter also was opposition progressed Sun. That is a statement for a positive (Jupiter) turning point (Pholus) in life's development (progressed Sun)...shortly after 'changing lifestyle'.  Those three indications together were for a boost in her career.

Isn't it nice that so many famous persons seem to have listened to the ' tides of time'?

Charts offer more than one chance or direction, mostly and they should always be seen in the light of situations, conditions, gender, genes and education, for example. If you want to know more about the positions on May 2, 1985, continue...

The chart of Amanda Knox and the synastry with Meredith Kercher

To my surprise: Astrodatabank has the hour of birth of Amanda Knox. This is the AA rated chart. The transits show the positions of the day of birth of Meredith Kercher.

Meredith Kercher was murdered and Amanda is supposed to have been on the scene of the murder or to have participated in the murder. Reason for murder (says the judge): Meredith didn’t want to participate in a sexual orgy. Amanda has been convicted but she appealed. In this and more posts I will have a deeper look at her chart, the transits, the progressions and the synastry with the victim, starting with the interaction of the positions in the charts of Amanda Knox and Meredith Kercher. The interaction of their charts (between Sun-Neptune and Mars-Pluto) shows us the nature of their relationship in the eyes of us, the beholders. Their names are/were connected by an act of violence (Mars-Pluto) and by suspicion (Sun-Neptune: to see in a negative light). 

Tariq Aziz, Mars-Saturn, Jupiter inconjunct Pluto and April 28

In his natal chart Mars is sextile Saturn and sesquisemisquare (67.5d) Pluto. The Mars-Saturn-Pluto combination is the combination of the importance of untimely or unnatural death (of yourself or others). The resonation of Mars-Saturn (tight aspect in natal chart and transit today) adds to the importance of the transit. The situation (being judged in a country ruled by opponents, risking death penalty) adds to worries.

Tariq Aziz once was an important person in the government of Saddam Hussein. Watch Jupiter in his natal chart… 

Jupiter is sesquisquare Sun and inconjunct Pluto. Sun-Jupiter-Pluto is a combination that often shows success and confidence. However, the inconjunction between Jupiter and Pluto means that there is a price to pay for success. The combination of the tightest aspects (Mars-Saturn and Jupiter-Pluto) already tells us about the strong influence of disproportional successes and hard measures. Does it surprise you, that he became a minister in 1983, with progressed Sun opposition Jupiter? It is an astrological statement of fortune and rise to success. Even without hour of birth, there is a clear message in the chart of the day of birth.

HOW ABOUT YOU?

That is why I checked the others born on April 28, 1936. And then I recalled the birth data of Saddam Hussein: April 28, 1937. They were born on the same day (of another year). In ' The power of birthdays, stars and numbers' the 28th of April is linked to the fixed star Hamal. That star is of the nature of Mars and Saturn...The qualities of those born on April 28 should be: patience, discipline (Mars-Saturn!), working hard, concentrated energy and leadership. The negative sides are: use of violence and being unscrupulous. It seems to correspond with the character of Saddam and Tariq. But I very much doubt if Penelope Cruz fits in this pattern. Ed Stafford, the Amazone and his birthday

This post is about the time unknown chart of the man who walked 2,5 years along the river Amazone (see the map). His name is Ed Stafford and he was born December 26, 1975 in Peterborough, England. He started his journey on April 2, 2008 and completed it last week. Two aspects on his day of birth resonated in the transits and progressions during these 859 days: Mars-Jupiter and Sun-Uranus.  Now he is a successful explorer. 

SUN-URANUS

The journey in an unknown and uneasy part of the world is a Sun-Uranus journey: an adventure and enstrangement are included. About two years ago the progressed Sun was square (progressed) Uranus and that is an important symbol of changing lifestyle. In his natal chart the Sun is sextile Uranus (for an easy way out to adventure and to independence.

MARS-JUPITER

Progressed Mars was sextile Jupiter and showing ‘successful efforts’ and ‘increasing energy’  during the complete period. In the natal chart Mars is sextile Jupiter and in the progressed chart the sextile perfected. Mission completed!

Lance Armstrong, doping and T Jupiter inconjunct Sun

With transit Jupiter inconjunct progressed Sun, Lance Armstrong has again been accused of using/promoting doping. Again I see the Sun-Jupiter connection in doping cases. There are other transits at the moment (Transit Saturn conjunct natal Venus for limiting joy, transit Uranus trine Jupiter for a relief, transit Uranus trine Neptune, transit Node semi square progressed Mars etc. etc.) and of course there is more in life than a repeated accusation coming from someone who has been found guilty of using doping, but the fact is that Sun-Jupiter transits and progressions keep popping up when doping is involved (or when someone is being found ‘ positive’).

Wanted: Barefoot Bandit

The Huffington Post published an FBI-poster. Wanted: a modern outlaw born March 22, 1991. On the Fourth of July, 2010 he may have stolen an airplane in Indiana and fled to the Bahamas. 

What in the chart is reflecting the behaviour of Colton A. Harris-Moore, the ' Barefoot Bandit'? What in his transits and progressions mirror his situation?

It is always the combination that does it! Of course it takes genes, gender and social circumstances to develop in such a way as Colton A. Harris-Moore did. See the link to Wikipedia about his early years and background (scroll down). It explains a great part of why Colton Harris couldn't have a 'decent'  life, maybe using his energy in sports or in business/sales. Astrological symbols and combinations show a variety of possibilities and 'ways out', but sometimes they are hard to see in difficult circumstances. The inconjunction between Ceres and Sun shows a problem from the very start and an exceptional link between his life and lifestyle and his genes, nutrition and background. The effect is harder when the situation is hard. Fact is, that there are several aspects in the chart corresponding with the story.

NATAL CHART

Parts of the story are reflected by the chart of his day of birth:

1. Mars quatronivile Uranus (a 160 degree aspect)

That is for rejoicing to rebel and the pleasure of a short fuse. Mars-Uranus is the kind of aspect that makes people drive too fast, act on impulse and explode in anger. It is also the kind of aspect that makes an engine run. In the charts of sportsmen who need to be fast and in the charts of engineers this aspect might be a pleasure.  Unfortunately the aspect is also known for incidents, accidents and the occurance in the charts of terrorist (and uncontrolled freedom fighters). 2. Mercury square Neptune: even when he didn’t steal, people tought that what he had was stolen. Mercury-Neptune is often there in the charts of suspects and (professional) liars. It is a good aspect combination for story tellers, but it is a burden when you are trying to communicate clearly. There is range of possible readings for Mercury-Neptune,  but misunderstood and miscommunication covers a lot of those meanings.

3. Mercury is inconjunct Pluto: extraordinary stressful mind.

The combination of Neptune and Pluto is that of the ‘ silent force’  and discretion. Writers of detectives have the combination prominently in their charts. In this particular case the effect might be very confusing.

4. He seems to try to live the life of a Rambo.  I like to point at the 75 degree aspect between Sun and Neptune. Minor aspects show the person behind the one that we can see in daily life. Sun-Neptune sometimes raises the question of identity.

5. The tight square of Venus and the oriental Saturn might limit his sociability as Saturn relates business and control to what is soft, nice, pretty and lovely.

6. The inconjunction between Sun and Ceres shows the disproportional link between genes and backgrounds (and perhaps also of nutrition) for his lifestyle

What is a perfect moment to crash a shop and injure noone, not even yourself? Apparently, that is when transit Jupiter is inconjunct Uranus (for a 'relief, but..') and square Sun (in order to make you count your blessings) ánd sesquisquare progressed Sun (for a frustrating positive experience or for being found positive and be frustrated about it, see the Sun-Jupiter related doping cases). 108 year old man died

Jos Wijnants, age 108, died. He was born in Antwerp March 27, 1902 with the right genes (Ceres, symbol of genes and seeds, is 'calling' in his chart): his grandfather died at age 92.
But, what is in the chart of his day of birth that contributes to the astrological picture of a chance to get older than most people do? Here are some of the indications, limited by the unknown hour of birth.

1. There are more placements in fire and air than there are in earth and water. On Astromarkt I wrote about the effect of this, click HERE for more.
2. Strong Scorpio Moon
3. Sun sextiel Jupiter and in a minor (105 degree) aspect with Uranus creates a Sun/Jupiter/Uranus combination that is often reflecting the prolongation of life.
4. Saturn, symbol of old age, is not making any Ptolemeic aspect. Saturn is 'calling'! It is like if 'getting old' was his vocation. When 'Saturn is calling' you don't like taking risks.
5. 40% is in movable signs (and that helps to keep moving)
6. No inconjunctions at all!
Inconjunctions in the radix often mirror ailments or other fysical/mental problems from the start. In order to get old, it is better not to see them in the chart.

Those indication and the mix of them, together with helpfull genes, contributed to reaching the age of 108 (wanted or not). Of course, the individual chart with hour of birth might offer more info (like angular placements, the Sun/Moon and AC/MC midpoint, the Ascendant, etc.).

HOW ABOUT YOU?
When you are born healthy, with a positive and strong character, you have a better chance of getting old. This chance is transtlated into astrological terms as 'movable signs', positive signs (fire and air signs) and balance (no signs of no balance, like inconjunctions). Earth signs and a strong Saturn help to be 'earth bound', cautious and 'sober'. This is the basic packet for getting old. But: there are always exceptions (just like with statistics)!

Andrès Escobar

Colombian football player (defender) Andrès Escobar deflected the ball into his own net during a match against the USA and was murdered when he returned to Medellin. He was born March 13 1967 and died July 2, 1994. His progressions and transits show the importance of the individual chart (AC,MC and Moon degrees) and of the situation/circumstances in an individual's culture and country. The level of danger is different in different countries and the passion (and gambling) around football (soccer) is more intense in passionate countries.

The astrological picture is incomplete because we don't know the hour of birth, but watch this:

Escobar's progressed Sun was inconjunct natal Pluto.
Transit Pholus was inconjunct his natal Saturn.

Shooting your own foot (or goal; Pholus) causes extraordinary (inconjunct) disadvantages (Saturn) and your life and lifestyle in this period is at danger with disproportional stress.
Inconjunctions often mean a lost.

SATURN CALLING
In the natal chart of Escobar Saturn doesn't make any aspect at all. This 'calling' Saturn at Aries Point points at the importance of mistakes, career, ambition and caution. It is a fine position for a manager.
Any transit or progression with this calling Saturn is to be important.

Again, this chart didn't kill him or else any person born that day would be death by now. One of them is a Dutch referee who is now starting a career in...politics. Administration is one of the key words of Saturn, too.

HOW ABOUT YOU?
In general the inconjunction between Pholus and Saturn refers to an unbalancing turning point in a career. The inconjunction between Sun and Pluto shows a possible lost of selfesteem. An inconjunction is a 150 degree aspect, often between positions in the chart with a distance of 5 signs (like 0 Aries and 1 Virgo) with a maximum of 2 degrees orb.

Obama's inconjunct Neptune and how about you?

This post is about Obama (and you, of course). Two transits mirror the difficulties of today: Transit Uranus opposition progressive Sun and transit Neptune inconjunct progressed Sun. This post is more about the the inconjunction with Neptune. Here is his chart (natal, progressions and transits for today):

Problemous news is making Obama’s life hectic, even if he didn’t cause the problem, like now with the Gulf oil disaster.

Uranus is the symbol of news, the opposition is related to ‘ the others’ and the progressed Sun refers to life in progress. The transits and progressions show the problem: someone else caused an accident/incident and now he is nervous.

Transit Uranus has been opposition Obama’s progressed Sun in March.Transit Saturn will be conjunct his progressed Sun again in July. Then Transit Uranus comes back mid August and starting March of 2011. And if that is not enough, Neptune will be mirroring trouble from then on till after next elections.
Transit Neptune inconjunct Progressed Sun: that is the transit that won’t stop damaging the image of Barack Obama until February 2013. Again and again Neptune will catch up with the Progressed Sun or vice versa. The transit will start its ‘activities’ in March 2011, reflecting the ‘ fallen angel’ (and bad press). I have another one: it won't be easy to live up to the expectations (his and those of his fans and followers).

Now how about you?

WHEN? CALCULATING YOU...
If your (progressed) Sun is in the 29th degree of Cancer or Virgo your (progressed or natal) Sun is inconjunct Neptune in June and July of this year 2010. In 2011 the transit comes back in January/February, and in the last four months. If you were born with Sun sesquisquare Neptune your progressed Sun will be inconjunct Neptune within 15 years. If you were born with Sun opposition Neptune your progressed Sun will be inconjunct Neptune within 30 years. With Sun tightly square Neptune in the natal chart, it will take about 60 years for the Sun to be semi sextile or inconjunct Neptune.

Your natal Sun is in the 29th degree of Cancer for those born around the 21st of July and in the 29th of Virgo for those born around the 21ste of September. Your progressed Sun is in the 29th degree of Virgo if you are 20 and born on September 1, for example. Just calculate your chart and progressions on Astro.com.

WHAT DOES IT MEAN? INTERPRETING YOU...
There is a difference in situation and condition that shows up with inconjunct Neptune, but you will always experience that your weaknesses show in a disproportionate way. If you are old, your health situation might suffer. If you were dating, you may experience disappointment after disappointment without understanding why: you are just overly negative and that shows…If you were an idol before, your weaknesses show and your admirers know. If you were not an idol, you might become one, suddenly, and be lost in the world of the media. Sun inconjunct Neptune shows that there is little proportion in his relationship with the media and in beliefs of all kinds (yours and others). Also, your lifestyle might not be in balance with his ideals or vice versa. You even might loose contact with reality (but only in extreme cases of course!). In other words: with Sun inconjunct Neptune you have to get real and give up some of your beliefs and ideals. For some of us that is reason for loosing grip. Others might find a new balance between real life and glorious dreams.

Is there anything good about Sun inconjunct Neptune? Yep. You may be negative and face disillusions about the real world, but you might also see that in order to realize a dream or live life the romantic/idealistic/artistic way you have to give up part of yourself and take care not to loose your you and your self image. It is difficult but essential to keep up the spirit and to believe in yourself (but facing reality, too). That is how I see it. And this aspect is of course more important when your Neptune is important, like in the chart of Obama, whose Neptune is on top and square natal Sun (and inconjunct the Sun of JFK, BTW).

Helen Thomas, Saturn and Mercury-Uranus

Helen Thomas is an American journalist of almost 90 years old (!!!). She retired this week after a controversial remark about Israel. Transits and progressions mark this moment:

- Transit Saturn semi square natal Sun (a period in life is ending, a goodbye)
- Transit Pluto inconjunct Uranus (sudden unbalancing revolutionary change with a lost involved)
- Progressed Mercury exactly square progressed Uranus (controversial ideas or communications)

Uranus inconjunct Pholus re: David Laws

Early this morning I studied the chart of someone who lost his child with a) Transit Pholus in 5 inconjunct ruler 8 Uranus and b) Progressed Pholus in the 5th sextile transit Uranus in the 8th. Inconjunctions cause disbalance, often due to a lost. Uranus takes you by surprise and Pholus can cause damage or turn your world upside down.

Uranus inconjunct Pholus can also put a person out of balance because of sudden turning point in life or he/she may suffer a lost (inconjunction) because of damaging (Pholus) news (Uranus). That is like in the case of David Laws. He just lost his job in the government of Cameron (he was Chief Secretary to the Treasury), within 14 days from the start. In his former job he had claimed 40.000 pounds on his secret second house expenses (ment for his secret lover) and that is against the rules (only) since 2006 (was it OK before then to have the taxpayer pay for a lover's nest in the UK, I wonder?).

Liberal Democrat Laws lost his job with progressed Uranus exactly inconjunct progressed Pholus (see the chart). The natal inconjunction has grown tighter and tighter to reach this point of no return. Not only has he lost his job, his hidden homosexuality has now been made public and it is exactly that what he had wished to conceal for whatever reason. Could the aspect also mean that a new episode in life has begun, but in a rather disastrous and shocking way?

I have not found more indications in the chart of the person who lost his child, in spite of having an HOB, so maybe this double Uranus-Pholus and the inconjunction related to the 8th house was just about enough reflection.
Also, I couldn't find much more in the chart of the day of birth of David Laws (who had a single Uranus-Pluto combination today in I don't know what houses).
That makes me think that the Uranus-Pholus inconjunction is a very strong reflection of a dramatic change. At least, that is what I saw in these two chart. I will be back later with more material.

BTW I found that the name of Pholus is related to moths (night butterflies) and I found a reference to ' Fly' by Celine Dion in an essay about this site " Winged planets" , also about the effect of Pholus in natal charts.

Barack Obama and the bad press

This is the picture of the chart, transits and progressions of President Barack Obama now that there is an oil spill disaster and now that the National Enquirer accuses him of cheating his wife. [BTW: I have already had a look at the match between Barack and Michelle Obama (on Astrology&Love...(link))].
Hard times again, indeed, and the chart is perfectly reflecting that. Here is a list of what Obama is dealing with right now:

- Transit Uranus inconjunct progressed Venus: unbalance about ‘another woman’ happens to be one of the possible ways to read this combination and in fact: there is news (Uranus) about his lovelife (Venus) and it is outrageous (inconjunct)

- Progressed Mercury is exactly inconjunct Vesta (could be read as: unbalancing talks about ‘home’)

Help is on the way as Jupiter is in Pisces, on his way to an opposition with progressed Sun and …the first aspect of the progressed Sun in the new sign (Libra) will be a trine with Jupiter, unless I take into account that there will also be an opposition with the symbol of marriage (Juno). There is an earlier harmonious aspect, too: progressed Moon trine Neptune. I hope that it means that he is in the mood for (domestic) romance.

Charts of leaders often have a great impact on the nations that they are leading. If that is true this time, the hard times will be followed by better days within months.

King Albert: a billion?

King Albert II of Belgium seems to be much much richer than his people thinks that he is. He might own at least one billion euro. And he gets more every year, because the Belgians pay him to be their king. Of course there are relevant transits and progressions in line with this news.

Progressed Neptune ruler 2 is opposition Sun
Transit Jupiter (ancient ruler 2) is inconjunct natal Jupiter

With Sun-Neptune you are often 'in a negative light' (gossip, secrets and the media...) and an inconjunction is the symbol of losts and lack of balance. This lack of balance is between two times the planet wealth: Jupiter. The transits and progressions don't allow a judgement about the figures; they just show that he is in the media and that there is a problem about his wealth.

David Cameron on June 3

David Cameron is less popular than to be expected (seen in the light of the never very popular Brown) and that shows. Transit Saturn is afflicting the Ascendant and Midheaven of Cameron all the time, but...not on June 3. By then transit Saturn has retrograded to the 28th degree of Virgo. David Cameron's progressed Sun sign is changin and that is indicating a changing life style. He will perhaps leave politics, cease to be a leader, or become the next PM, so that changing sun sign is in line with what happens. And no, this is not an attempt to predict the results of the elections. It is an observation: Cameron and Brown have much in common these days.

The funny thing is that they share the transit of Saturn and the changing sun sign. You see, his opponent, Gordon Brown, also has the progressed Sun in the final minutes of the sign. The inconjunction with Saturn in his chart is just as unpleasant as the transit of Saturn is in the chart of Cameron. Also interesting: that the progressed Suns of Cameron and Brown are inconjunct (150 degrees apart). The inconjunction shows that there would be little balance between them if they had to live together or join forces. An inconjunction is the symbol of lost. One of them will have to leave and in both cases there will be a change in the way that they see themselves.

- Sun is 'calling' (not making major aspects in sign or orb 5 degrees)
That is reflecting leadership (drawing attention at any possible level)
- Mars is 'calling' too and so is Jupiter
The combination of these 3 prominent placements points at successes. On June 3 transit Jupiter will be trine progressed Sun and that is a positive sign for him. On the other hand, transit Saturn won't remain in Virgo. There will be a final hit with his Ascendant and square his Midheaven after the elections. It might all just be personal. I read that his wife revealed (in the middle of the campaign1) that she will vote for Brown. That is OK, but there was no need to tell it now? (or was it a strategy of opponents to publish this now?) Maybe that is the perfect reflection of Saturn in Libra on the Ascendant.

Ceres and Jamie Oliver

Jamie Oliver and his wife Juliette Norton are expecting their fourth child. Let us see where in the positions on his day of birth we can find the cook and where the father of four. He was born May 27, 1975 in Clavering, Essex, a very little village close to Saffron Walden, time unknown.
CERES
The first object rising before the Sun is Ceres. The first objects and planets tell us about a person's orientation. Ceres is very important in the charts of chefs, as you can see in the post about famous television cooks (scroll down for the link). That is in line with the meaning of Ceres: food, nutrition, motherhood, Mother Nature. See the label Ceres for more about her.

In 1999, when he was 'discovered' by the BBC, transit Ceres was conjunct his natal Sun. The progressed Sun then was in the 29th degree of Taurus, so his life and lifestyle was changing.

The progressed Sun in the 9th degree of Cancer is now sextile natal Ceres.

MARS AND JUPITER
The first outer planets rising before his Sun are Jupiter (the international) and Mars. Together Mars and Jupiter promise lots of energy and drive, possibly leading to success and ...high productivity:) He owns several companies and is funding Italian restaurants in Asia now (very international!).

When he left school at age 16, transit Pluto was inconjunct his natal Sun. There is always correspondence between the progressions, transits and natal chart. When an aspect in transit or progression is repeating the combination of the natal chart (here Sun trine Pluto), the effect is greater. The combination of Sun and Pluto is one of the combinations for change. See them all here...

PLUTO
In the present period transit Pluto is square his natal Mars and inconjunct natal Sun. That produces a lot of stress and challenges, but Pluto is also the symbol of life and death. In the natal chart Pluto is in aspect with the Sun (trine) and Mars (opposition). The opposition between Mars and Pluto is part of a 'triangle of potential' with the Sun at the apex. It means that the enormous drive and potential is motivating him to be the star, the boss and the leading figure. Perhaps Jamie Oliver has an extreme drive to 'make it' (or create it:), again?

BTW, notice how the Mars-Pluto opposition can be used in a possitive way, also because the Sun is 'redirecting' the energy, adding creativity!

The position on the day of his birth, together with transits and progressions, being the son of parents who owned a pub and practised cooking, the oriental position of Ceres (heirloom! and nutrition), the fortunate meeting with a BBC-crew...that and possible but unknown angular positions (we don't know the hour of birth), is what made Jamie Oliver the rich and famous cook that he is. Also, the biquintile between Sun and Uranus is reflecting creative ways to be 'different' than the rest. Finally, I like to mention Venus in Cancer. Cancer (and/or the Moon) is often important in the charts of cooks. Venus is the symbol of pleasure. Jamie Oliver found a way to more fun in the kitchen!

Comedian Sarah Palin

Yesterday, with Jay Leno, Sarah Palin was doing an act: she performed as a stand-up comedian. (Read it on Political Jokes). Now where in her chart is the comedian?

It is in Mercury biquintile Uranus, both connected to Midheaven. That is providing here with original, creative and sometimes crazy ideas and concepts that she can use in her profession (for example as a correspondent). The final dispositors of her Taurus Midheaven are Mercury and Uranus, too. They are in mutual reception, so there is another link between them!

There are more politicians who are frequently quoted in the papers for there controversial or funny remarks, like Silvio Berlusconi who also has an aspect between Mercury and Uranus.

But…is it really funny? What is the effect? Right now there is an inconjunction between her progressed Sun and Uranus, causing a lot of (extraordinary) upheaval. The inconjunction is reflecting missed balance in the way that she is in the news. It might just be that this performance was one of those ways (if she is really planning to be the next President).

The chart is a guess chart, so the Ascendant and Midheaven and the degree of the Moon may differ from the true positions! Nevertheless, there is a Mercury biquintile Uranus and P Sun inconjunct Uranus in her chart right now.
