Ambition in the chart

A Ferrari is a cute and fast car. It is an ambitious car, too. But it is not about the car here. It is about  a doctor with the name of the car. And about signs of ambition in the chart of his day of birth. 

Doctor Ferrari (March 26, 1953, Ferrara) is said to have received a million dollar following his advice to Lance Armstrong. That is a lot. And Lance Armstrong was not the only one... What does it take to be able to receive so much money for such advices? And what has he got (apart from the knowledge)?

1. Saturn! Saturn rises before the Sun in the chart of Ferrari. It is the symbol of the manager, the one with an official degree and 'classics'. Becoming a doctor is gaining status. 

2. Moon in Leo. That is a good Moon for the need to be the boss, be the star and be the king or queen. You shine like a star when Moon is in Leo.

3. The 'calling' Sun. When the Sun doesn't make major aspects in sign or orb 5 degrees, you have a special urge to draw attention, somehow, anyhow. Perhaps as a 'star' or a leader...

4. A combination with Jupiter and Pluto helps you to be a success. Doctor Ferrari has Sun semi square Juptier and sesquisquare Pluto. The Sun-Jupiter-Pluto combination increases self confidence. 

5. Discretion! (Mercury inconjunct Neptune and inconjunct Pluto, in a Yod) 

It is the combination that does it! Those qualities are also the qualities needed for top politicians (discretion, ambition, being serious and drawing attention/being a leader). At least two politicians were born on the day that Michele Ferrari was born.  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/March_26). 

But there is also something difficult about the aspects on his day of birth. The Mercury-Neptune inconjunction can cause legal problems, too. It all depends on the whole chart, the situation and the choices that one makes. See the examples (use the label Mercury Neptune). It won't be the first time that doctor Ferrari is in trouble.

PROGRESSIONS

In 1999 Ferrari told the world that he worked with blood doping. This openness (P Sun conjunct Jupiter) in good times turned out to be wrong in 2002, when he was being prosecuted but found not guilty (lack of evidence). In 2002 Progressed Sun was inconjunct Neptune. 

TRANSIT URANUS

At the moment transit Uranus is square his Sun. You know what transits of Uranus do? They amaze, surprise and shock you! With Uranus hectic and nervous times are coming. And when you are a VIP, you get attention (wanted or not) with transit Uranus. 

PS Are you born around March 26, June 27 or October 28? Transit Uranus hits your natal Sun, too. You can simply be upset. You can also become a controversial person. Change is is in the air. And that is in the air for Ferrari, too.

Armstrong, Tour de France en Uranus-Pluto

This blog is about doping, Armstrong and the Tour de France.  It is not the first time that I write about this subject (see the link below). There is a reason to write about this again. It is because of Lance Armstrong and because of Uranus-Pluto.  Time for a big change of the Tour?

I am supposed to be good at riding the bike, because of the fact that I was born in a country full of bikes. But I am not. I don't use my bike, unless it is beautiful weather without a breeze and in company of my husband who has to help me get over a dike (and even then I often simply have to step off and walk). I also don't like watching the Tour. In my eyes it is a superhuman effort and it is impossible to complete the Tour without using doping. It is a crazy challenge. But, some people think that it can be done with training, muscle power and the will to win. So be it. Maybe it can. One of the people who won, was Lance Armstrong.

CHART LANCE ARMSTRONG

Were we surprised that an average biker came back after cancer treatment and became the best of them all? The investigators were surprised and wanted to know more. The public considered him to be a hero and a living miracle. (We want to believe that miracles exist. We can, can't we?) That miracle and the idol are in the chart. It is in Jupiter conjunct Neptune, quintile Mars (trine Uranus).

HARD TIMES, TIME FOR HARD (SIDES OF) ASPECTS

In hard times the hard aspects in the chart sound louder. Now we see Mercury square Saturn (it takes time to give an answer...). And the bad side of Jupiter-Neptune becomes clear: you can cheat better with Jupiter-Neptune. It is pay back time (transit Pluto inconjunct Saturn) now that newspapers want the millions back that they payed him when they 'falsely' accused him. There is a lot of news, tension and controversy (transit Uranus inconjunct progressed Sun). And it is not the end, yet. Progressed Sun is getting closer to a quincunx with Saturn. That is one of the hardest aspects to deal with! It is about losing status and condition. It is about falling hard (a real fall or a fall from a pedestal). It is also about having to deal with the facts of life.  

JUPITER

The natal chart with Sun conjunct, and Mars sesqui square Pluto tells us about a strong drive to win. And yes, that is why...When Lance Armstrong came back after cancer treatment, transit Jupiter was inconjunct his progressed Sun and that is what I call 'the negative positive' aspect. Jupiter is always there in the stories about doping and it might not be coincidence that Jupiter is the symbol of coaches and doctors, too. They 'helped'  the men win and they never joined forces to make an end to the crazy demands. But it might be time for a change right now! 

Chart TOUR DE FRANCE

Here is the chart of the very first Tour de France. I took 12:40 for starting time, just like in one of the later Tours de France. And see: the Uranus-Pluto square hits the Sun of the first Tour de France. This sun is in the 9th degree of Cancer. Both Uranus and Pluto (the duo of dramatic change) are in hard aspect with that degree. Early December will be the final opposition of transit Pluto and end of March 2013 you see transit Uranus square that degree. It is time for a revolutionary change! Starting with the "parcours"? Alberto Contador, Jupiter and the positive test

Usually (or should I say: in the cases that I studied) there is a Sun-Jupiter combination in the charts, transits or progressions when someone is found positive in doping cases. Being positive CAN have a negative meaning.... I have written about that before (see the links).
This time Alberto Contador has been found positive (but it might just be a matter of food contamination, says Contador's publicist). Transit Jupiter is in an exact minor aspect with the progressed Sun (75 degrees). There is no aspect between the natal Sun in Sagittarius*) and Jupiter in the natal chart (unless 20 degrees distance has a meaning). More minor aspects with Pholus and Uranus mirror the upheaval and the conflict (like transit Pholus semi square natal Mars).

Lance Armstrong, doping and T Jupiter inconjunct Sun

With transit Jupiter inconjunct progressed Sun, Lance Armstrong has again been accused of using/promoting doping. Again I see the Sun-Jupiter connection in doping cases. There are other transits at the moment (Transit Saturn conjunct natal Venus for limiting joy, transit Uranus trine Jupiter for a relief, transit Uranus trine Neptune, transit Node semi square progressed Mars etc. etc.) and of course there is more in life than a repeated accusation coming from someone who has been found guilty of using doping, but the fact is that Sun-Jupiter transits and progressions keep popping up when doping is involved (or when someone is being found ‘ positive’).

The effect of the inconjunction has been described here.. You can read the inconjunction with Jupiter as: ' success and support, but...' and than start looking for what is getting lost or what it is that you have to let go. George Michael hits shop

What is a perfect moment to crash a shop and injure noone, not even yourself? Apparently, that is when transit Jupiter is inconjunct Uranus (for a 'relief, but..') and square Sun (in order to make you count your blessings) ánd sesquisquare progressed Sun (for a frustrating positive experience or for being found positive and be frustrated about it, see the Sun-Jupiter related doping cases). Re: the news about the four year ban instead of life for Bernard Kohl, who quit cycling anyway, here are the links to the posts about his case and the Sun-Jupiter connection with doping news. The judgement and ' conviction' come with transit Neptune semi square his natal Sun and that means disappointment. Four years is a long time when you are 28.

Jupiter was important in his birth chart and at the time when he was found positive. Jupiter is the symbol of positivism and that is usually nice. But being found positive in a doping case is less positive:)

AND HOW ABOUT YOU? And what has orange got to do with it?

Sun-Jupiter aspects in the natal chart are reflecting the will to succeed and enthousiasm. But what if you want to succeed and everybody else wants it, too? That is where it might become easy to help (Jupiter) yourself (Sun) to be better than the rest. The nice thing about Sun-Jupiter is that you allow yourself and others to have some space. The bad thing about Sun-Jupiter is that you allow yourself (or others) a bit too much. And there you go. Easy aspects with Jupiter make it easy for Jupiter. With hard aspects with Jupiter it is harder and it takes more effort to succeed. Landis, Beltran and Marion Jones have the opposition between Sun and Jupiter. Oppositions are like question marks: can I succeed by myself? That is the question in question.

It is also hard to live up to your means with Sun-Jupiter (maybe because you think that you deserve it?:). No kidding: it depends on your moral and level of ambition if you want to win using drugs or not. And people like you and me don’t often get the advice to use some doping, not even with a Sun-Jupiter aspect in the birth chart. Neither do those with a Sun-Jupiter aspect have something to do with the colour orange (like the members of the Dutch royal family 'Van Oranje'; most of them have a Sun-Jupiter aspect!). I have a quintile between Sun and Jupiter and my sites are always orange for some reason:) And for some reason I like to end this post in a positive way...So if YOU are a Sun-Jupiter: stay positive, keep learning and traveling and stay tuned.

Floyd Landis, Lance Armstrong and Sun-Jupiter aspects

Floyd Landis admits the use of doping, and he accuses Lance Armstrong of having used doping, too. Floyd Landis had been found positive after winning the Tour the France and lost his title. I wrote about his ‘ negative positive’ Jupiter before (see the post about Landisl), with positions on his day of birth and links to other examples of Sun-Jupiter aspects in the charts of people accused of using doping (Bertrand, Jones etc.). (Jupiter is the symbol of positive energy, but when a person is tested for doping and the result is ‘ positive’ , being ‘ positive’ gets a negative meaning.)

Here is the chart of Landis day with the positions on the day of birth of Lance Armstrong. Landis was born October 14, 1975 in Landersville AL. Armstrong was born September 18, 1971. Landis, BTW, has Sun semisesquisquare (67.5d) Jupiter. The Pluto of Landis is exactly square the Mars of Landis, and that seems very appropiate (they are competing).. Also the Neptune of Landis is square the Mercury of Amstrong. Mercury-Neptune combinations often go along with accusations (see the label for more). None of these aspects actually reveal guilt or innocence. They just happen to ' pop-up' in similar cases and should be considered regarding the situation and the characters of the persons involved, as always...

Claudia Pechstein: another Sun-Jupiter doping case

Claudia Pechstein has an exact sextile between Sun and Jupiater in her natal chart. She just lost the appeal in her doping ban case. Her Jupiter seems to be another 'positive' Jupiter with this negative effect. And the sextile didn't help much either...That is no big surprise, because sextiles (and in particular: a lot of them) have been found in the charts of scapegoats, criminals and their victims and of people who choose the 'easy way (out)' above hard labour and hard choices. See the examples on this blog.... Sextiles make it easy, sometimes the hard way.

Of course there is more in her chart, because she has a lot of tight aspects, like Sun inconjunct Pluto and Jupiter inconjunct Saturn and square Pluto. Astrology chart of Bernhard Kohl

A two year ban for cycist Bernhard Kohl is for the time being the final word in the doping case I mentioned in the earlier post on this site Astropost.blogspot.com about the Sun-Jupiter connection with doping. Just like Rasmussen, Marion Jones, Floyd Landis and Beltran, Bernhard Kohl has a tight Sun-Jupiter aspect in his natal chart (in his case Sun 67.5 Jupiter). At the time of the discovery after winning in a glorious way, his progressed Sun was square Jupiter.
