Krissie Brown dies
When Krissie Brown was found in a bathroom, unconscious, just like her late mother Whitney Houston before, transit Neptune was on her MC. In the natal chart of Krissie Brown Neptune rules Midheaven and is in the 8th house of life and desth, just like Uranus. Now, with transit Uranus exactly square Nepune, she died. Conflicts Uranus-Neptune are conflicts between wake and sleep.
This Uranus-Neptune conflict also pops up when there is a hoax or a hype (false news, a flash of gossip). There have been a few false announcements of death in her case lately. This time it seems to be real. In accordance with the symbols of Neptune and Uranus in 8 she suddenly passed away softly in her sleep.

When Ringo Starr became a Beatle...
When Ringo Starr became a Beatle, on August 16, 1962, what exactly did his chart 'say'? Here is the chart:
This was after a period of highlighted contacts (Progressed Sun-Mercury) and hard works and efforts (Mars-AC in progressed chart):
1. transit Jupiter sesquisquare midpoint Sun/Moon
2. transit Pluto sesquisquare Sun/Moon midpoint
! notice that Jupiter and Pluto (and Chiron, too) were in aspect with midpoint Sun/Moon. Jupiter/Pluto can bring success. Sun/Moon-Jupiter/Pluto shows very strong motivation and confidence (and therefore more chance of success).
3. transit Pholus inconjunct Sun (strong transit because Sun is opposite Pholus in the natal chart); this signals a turning point in life that got him (and his former life style) 'out of balance'

As the progressed Sun got closer and closer to midpoint Jupiter/Pluto (for success!) it was to be expected that joining the Beatles would bring him luck. As both progressed Sun with midpoint Jupiter/Pluto AND the midpoint Sun/Moon with transit Jupiter and Pluto were indications of confidence and success, the transit of Pholus could only mean a 'but...' when considering a successful change in life. BTW the Pluto of John Lennon's day of birth is conjunct the Moon of Ringo Starr. That might indicate the strong influence that Lennon had...

You also need to be on the right place at the right moment and have a nice progressed chart. In 2005/2006 (debute and break through) his progressed

PS ON OOB VENUS
In England, Marlon King (see Wikipedia) was born on the same day. He is in jail now (for reckless driving) and his football contract has been cancelled following accusations of sexual assault. In 2005 (Progressed Sun square Jupiter, for success, like Chaning) he was top scorer. There is a Mars square Uranus aspect for speeding in this chart, too. You see, it is up to you (and your situation/circumstances) what you do with life. Perhaps it is also in the hour and place of birth and the placement of Mars. And in the fact that OOB Venus lacks control.
An OOB Venus is like a 'calling' Venus (Venus without major aspects): somehow, anyhow you want to enjoy yourself, look good and have fun. It can be done on a high level of esthetics or in the world of entertainment. Or you just want to please yourself.
PS In this chart there is also a Mercury-Pluto-Saturn combination in the chart of April 26, 1980. That is for strategy in communications (and almost in every politician's chart). There are multiple choices to be made and of course they are limited by social circumstances and the hour/place of birth with crucial placements.

Sad birthday for Bobby Brown
His daughter is in coma, with little chance to recover. No birthday celebration yesterday for father Bobby Brown. I wrote about his chart and life before ( http://astropost.blogspot.nl/2010/04/bobby-brown-lives.html ) so I will limit this post to the transit and progressions relatd to his sad situation. Look at transit Saturn ruler 1, opposite Progressed Moon in V (house of children), for example. This is a sign for sadness, in most cases.
Of course, Bobby Brown's chart has more indications at the same time, or else it wouldn't be that bad. Transit Pholus on pr MC, for example, refers to a turning point and transit Pluto near AC mirrors stress. There are benefics as well, coming from Saturn. Saturn ends, Saturn earns respect and Saturn is the symbol of parenthood, too. In short, the chart tells us about worries for others or because of others (Moon opposite Saturn) with stress and intensity around (Pluto-AC) at a turning point in family or social status (Pholus-MC). It is not so that the chart is predicting anything. The chart is just in line with the feelings right now.
Daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown has Neptune in 8, just like her late mother Whitney Houston, who drowned in a bath. It seems that Bobbi couldn't live with the death of her mother. On February 2 I tweeted about her chart:

Bill Cosby's Pluto
Sleeping dogs wake up when Pluto hits charts. Bill Cosby is being confronted with accusations of rape dated 20 years or longer ago and the number of victims increases. Pluto is the ruler of his 8th house, the house of life and death, the house of sex and crisis. Pluto is all around in his chart today. When there are more than 2 indications pointing in the same direction, there is almost always a noticible event.* Here is the chart with transits and progressions for now:

Earlier, when the first rumors popped up, Tranit Neptune was inconjunct progressed Sun (extraordinary negative light).
The 3rd aspect (P Mars inconjunct Pluto) is especially strong because of the fact that there is a minor aspect between Mars and Pluto in the natal chars: Mars 112.5 d Pluto (square + half semi square). Minor aspects often signal the not so visible characteristics of a person that may have major impact at a certain point in life, like in the case of O.J. Simpson...
Mars-Pluto is often involved in cases of brutal force and the drive to master and win. Nevertheless, charts can't be used as a tool to tell if a person is wrong or right, as both victims, prosecutors and thos 'who did it' often share this aspect of the theme of intense drive and aggression in their charts. Circumstances, gender and conditions have to be considered as well.
Bill Cosby's Pluto is indeed challenging! The threefold presence of Pluto in his chart today tells us about a confrontatational crisis. Damage control may be needed or more... When Pluto is around and sleeping dogs wake up, you may have to defend yourself. It is not the first time that Bill Cosby's name is mentioned related to sexual assault. The first time was in 2000. And that happened to be with Progressed MC square Pluto. Here you see it:

Chart of Rik Mayall
At the age of 56 years the man who made me laugh so often, Rik Mayall, suddenly died on June 9, 2014. It is still unclear what was the cause of death.
Rik Mayall was born on March 7, 1958 in Harlow (UK) at 3.30 a.m. (says Astrodatabank). That gives him a chart with a clear pattern of artistic talent*). Look at the charts below and what you see is:
- Venus trine the elevated Moon in Libra and
- Venus square Neptune
- Venus square Midheaven
- Neptune on Midheaven
This in combination with the Pisces Sun in the second house of public performance. Also watch the creative (bi)quintiles of Sun and controversial Uranus with Ascendant..joined by Jupiter and Neptune for the fans.
Rik Mayall worked hard to gain his status. Saturn is 'calling' (no major aspects in sign or orb 5 degrees) and highlighted (square Sun/Moon midpoint) as an indication of ambition, all that is 'official' and serious, and of the importance of parents (and parenthood), business, management and duty. His parents taught drama and he studied drama at the University of Manchester. Saturn is for classics...
It's rarely enough to have talent and ambition. Rik Mayall had Sun sesquisquare Jupiter and quatronovile Pluto (a combination for self confidence and success). The Venus-Jupiter-Neptune aspect combination is a key to popularity.

The transits and progressions at the time of the serious quad bike accident of 1998 were rather clear about injuries. See transit Saturn square Mars (dead end) and transit Chiron inconjunct P IC on that day. Transit Mars (not visible in the picture) was conjunct Progressed Sun.

There are only a few transits and progressions on the day of his death
1. Transit Saturn semi square Ascendant for a frustrating delay or end.
2. Transit Mars inconjunct progressed Sun (Mars was in the 12d of Libra that day) for an attack with a loss or imbalance involved.
3. Transit Uranus semi sextile natal Sun (a shock or surprise)
That is a trio for an unexpected dead end (but not always!).
(The progressed Sun had already been perfecting a sesquisquare with Saturn 4 months earlier).
Just like on the day of the accident there was a transit of Mars with Progressed Sun. In 1998 - accident - it was a conjunction. In 2014 - when he died - it was an inconjunction.

Happy Pharrell Williams' transit Saturn inconjunct Saturn
Pharrell Williams' hit 'Happy' scored an international record high and that is so amazing that it made him cry, yesterday, when Oprah Winfrey (use the link) interviewed him. Earlier, in March 2013, there was the shared success with Blurred Lines (see YouTube) and now he made it on his own.
You probably know that I am convinced that there is more value in transits and progressions when they connect those planets that make a natal aspect (I named that: the 'resonance' effect). Well, the release of 'Happy' was on November 21, 2013.
- That was on a day with Mars sextile Jupiter.
- In his natal chart Mars is conjunct Jupiter
- Transit Jupiter was sesquisquare his progressed Mars (and Mercury and Venus, too).
This triple Mars-Jupiter 'event' (meaning successful action) corresponded with the success of 'Happy' more than the inconjunct of transit Saturn with natal Saturn did (of course). That reminded me of a mail that I got from a lottery winner who wasn't happy with her astrologer, who failed to notice the Jupiter-progressed Moon notice and only looked at her Saturn square Saturn to predict her a sad year instead of the lucky win. Time (very Saturn word) to have a look at the Saturn cycle.
SATURN CYCLE
The Saturn-cycle can never have a 'resonance effect'. Maybe that is why the Saturn-cycle doesn't seem to be as important for the development of an individual as transits and progressions. Another reason is, that we all go through those same cycles and when I say WE, I mean WE ALL. At a certain age we grow up, recognize our mistakes, are 'responsible', age and deal with the bad sides of aging. That is what transits of Saturn do when they hit Saturn. The conjunctions are especially important (the Saturn Returns) in our lives. They come when we realize that we aren't 'young' and/or 'getting old'. GRANDPARENTS AND SATURN
Time goes bye and flies like an arrow, and even harder when it is 'memento mori time'. I have no idea in what way Transit Saturn inconjunct Saturn (memento mori) popped up in the life of Pharrell. I hear him speak of his grandmother (who pushed him into the music business) and perhaps it is a sad moment when you know that she missed your hit. (Remember that when Obama was chosen, his grandmother had died just before his presidency was a fact and that transit Saturn was confusing if you would relate it to winning or losing instead of a family matter).
On the outside we only see his extreme success, but the Saturn inconjunct could certainly relate to temporary loss of balance because of a matter of position, career and status. Here is the chart of his day of birth with transits and progressions for the day that Happy was released.

The transits with the progressed chart outnumber those with the natal chart. Maybe that means that he should enjoy this period as much as he can and be HAPPY!
- Progressed Sun inconjunct Galactic Center could be read like a disproportional STARRY attention (but only if you know:);
- Progressed Sun is biquintile progressed Uranus and that is for a creative change in life and lifestyle;
- Progressed Mars conjunct natal Pholus expresses the turning point in what he does, actually;
- Progressed Venus sesquisquare progressed Uranus; he married in October 2013 with the mother of his 5 year old (maybe Uranus is related to his 7th house);
- Progressed Sun was hit by transit Jupiter (and this will happen again); that is a key to being happy!
- Transit Jupiter/Uranus midpoint hit his natal Sun and Venus recently (and this will also happen again). It is for positive change.
- Transit Pluto sesquisquare Sun refers to stressful change and challenges. There is a lot of pressure when you suddenly became so famous!
-On the day of release transit Jupiter was sextile Progressed Mercury, semi square progressed Venus and sesquisquare progressed Mars (with P Venus square P Mars coming up).
PS If he was born in the late morning, his Taurus Moon semi sextile Venus would also be 157.5 degrees from Neptune (sesquisquare and half semi square), part of the pattern of artistic talent.

Mickey Rooney, life, death and chart
Mars-Saturn
is one of the symbols of death (and other things*). Transit Saturn was square Mickey Rooney’s progressed Mars and semi sextile
his natal Venus when he died, age 93 (!and they didn’t want him to serve in the
army because of his heart!). Also transit Pluto was opposite his progressed
Moon in 8. More transits and progressions accompanied him on the final journey,
like transit Jupiter in 8 square Mercury and Jupiter also trine progressed Ascendant. Jupiter is often visible in the chart of someone who was very old or ill and died (See Jupiter, when you die).
Finally, there was transit Uranus trine Mars to make it fast.
URANUS SQUARE SUN/MOON
Mickey
Rooney was an actor. First of all, he had ambition and followed his parents
(Vaudeville artists) in their footsteps (Saturn rises before his Sun). In his
branche he was exceptional (Uranus square Sun/Moon midpoint) because of his
size. Uranus with Sun/Moon is not a guarantee for a long lasting marriage, so
it is not surprising (sic…) that he married 8 times.
VENUS CALLING!
Rooney’s
chart is a B-rated chart so that the Ascendant, MC and Moon may not be correct
and only those transits and progressions in blue are valid (whatever hour of
birth). The pattern of artistic talent is mostly formed by minor or major
aspects between Moon, Venus and Neptune related to Midheaven. In this chart we
see Moon 105 degrees Venus and opposite Neptune but no aspect of
Moon-Venus-Neptune with MC. The Midheaven ruler is Mercury in Libra and as
Venus is in Libra, too, Venus is the final ruler of the MC. That makes Venus double as important as Venus already is, because: Venus is ‘calling’. Entertainment, love, women, talent, diplomacy and everything
nice and pretty would be manifested in his life, somehow, anyhow and at any
possible level. Didn’t it?

Chart of Woody Allen and the abuse accusations
First: Who is Dylan?
Dylan was 7 years old when she told her adoptive mother Mia Farrow, that Woody Allen - whom she had a living apart together relationship with - had abused her. Her mother believed her, but psychologists said they didn't and the judge believed them more. Here are the transits and progression for May 13, 1994, the day of the verdict. Watch Jupiter! DYLAN: JULY 1 or JULY 11?
The day of birth of Dylan is not clear. Some say July 1, but several sources mention July 11, 1985 for the day of birth of Dylan Malone Previn. So, let's say that it was 1985, so that 1992 (when Dylan was 7 years old and the incident happened) was the year that Woody Allen had transit Pholus (symbol of turning point and the risk of shooting your own feet) opposition his natal Mars. Mars is afflicted and in his 5th house of children, play and entertainment. Transit Pholus opposition Mars is a turning point in the field of Mars (that is: work, action, drives and sexual activities). Later T Pholus was conjunct Pluto, mirroring the pyrrhic victory. It was the year of Pholus in aspect with Mars-Pluto.

b. his Pholus is opposition her Sun
MARS-PLUTO in 5-11
Woody Allen's Mars in V is afflicted by Pluto XI. The 5th and 11th house are exactly the houses of natural children and adopted children/stepdaughters and sons. Mars-Pluto is the symbol of the drive to dominate and win, intensifying energy and aggression and sometimes mirrors the use and abuse of power, force and influence. It is a great aspect in sports (a Belgian athlete was born the same day), but it is a dangerous one, too (see Astromarkt on Mars-Pluto). Venus-Mars-Pluto combinations like in Woody Allen's chart intensify passions.
Regarding Mars in 5 (afflicted): He is not a playboylike Hugh Hefner, but just like the Playboy chief he likes to marry young women. That is OK in larger parts of the world, but when the woman is in fact an adopted stepdaughter, lots of eyebrows rise.In 1992 with transit Pholus aspecting Mars-Pluto in V-XI came the first accusation by Dylan. This certainly changed his relationship with Mia Farrow. The limit was that he married one of her adoptive daughters. Mia Farrow has two reasons to have doubts about Woody Allen: Dylan and Soon-Yi, so it is not surprising (given her prominent Mars) that she attacks him. Woody Allen married Soon Yi, a daughter previously adopted by Mia Farrow and Alain Previn and part of the large family of adopted and natural children. After his marriage with Soon Yi, Allen again adopted two children.

What transits and progression does a man have who was awarded one day and faces accusation the next? Like this:

- Neptune has been conjunct Saturn lately (involuntary detachment)
- transit Uranus trine his Sun (a positive change)
- the progressed MC trine Sun (honor)
- transit Uranus square Pholus (unexpected turning point)
- progressed MC moving towards inconjunct Pholus (turning point with a loss involved, unbalancing change, losing status and shooting your own foot)
- transit Neptune square Mercury: that is the kind of aspect to expect when there is a rumor, miscommunications and/or accusations as transits of Neptune are always confusing (unclarity about the facts)
- and all that happens with the progressed Sun in the latest degrees of a sign, signal of changes in life and life style
We can't judge on the basis of astrology.
Not, because Mercury-Neptune is the theme of miscommunications and not necessarily by the owner of the chart.
Not, because Mars-Pluto is just as frequent in the charts of those who have to deal with violent men or the impact of war or the pain caused by training.
Charts have to be seen in the light of the events. Charts don't judge, people do. You have to add circumstances, culture, gender, genes…and when it comes to two people: the interaction between their (progressed and natal) charts. So in the end, you only know what kind of aspects accompany accusations of child abuse.
It is unlikely that Woody Allen would be prosecuted again, because there is no physical evidence and Dylan seems to be the only one who accuses Allen of child abuse. It might remain a mystery that is hanging over Woody Allen like a dark cloud and is a tragedy for all involved. Only Woody and Dylan know the truth, so it is a matter of believe. That is very Neptune, the 'calling' planet in Woody Allen's chart.
How odd to set this man in the lime light with an award, knowing that there is such a controversy! It is the same as with Roman Polanski of whom they said that it was so typically French to support a man in spite of his possibly controversial sex life. It's not so typical at all:). And just like in Polanski's case, the award had a price: spotlights on the accusations again...
