Transit Pluto inconjunct and Jupiter conjunct Pluto -2-

Whatever happy slide you choose to make, be sure it is a happy landing!

I wrote about transit Pluto inconjunct Pluto before (http://astropost.blogspot.nl/2015/01/transit-pluto-inconjunct-pluto-and.html ) and today I want to add something: it is about values and being valued when you come at age, the age of transits Pluto inconjunct Pluto. It is an aspect of a generation that shows a sliding scale of 'what you are worth' of what you earn and of authority. At that age you often have to defend your value and values. They have to pay the price when the pension funds make less profit, for example. Or they see Mr. Draghi make decisions that undermine the value of their pension.

When Pluto was in Sagittarius (November 1995-November 2008) the dwarf planet was inconjunct the Pluto in the charts of people born with Pluto in Cancer (the generation of abt July 1913 to October 1937).
Now Pluto is in Capricorn until January 2024 and after that the generation of Pluto in Virgo will have to deal with Pluto in Aquarius. Pluto inconjunct Pluto happens all the time to people with an age of about 70.

Of course there are individual differences. People may have transits and progressions helping them to find a balance between what they think they are worth and what others may think that they should earn.  One of the helpful transits in 2015 will be Jupiter conjunct Pluto . Those who were born between July 1947 and July 1969 will get the chance to value life more in the way that their chart will indicate (where is your Pluto? in what house?). Exception for those born between October 1968 and April 1969, but they will get the happy transit next year!

Jupiter in Leo conjunct Pluto (and trine Sun/MC)

Jupiter in Leo is conjunct the Pluto of my generation now. What could that mean?

Jupiter-Pluto midpoint and aspect combinations use to indicate a sort of a treasure. The Jupiter-Pluto combination is a ‘success combination’.
I have written about this before, so here is the link: http://astropost.blogspot.nl/2011/05/jupiterpluto-midpoint-and-aspect.html

Transits of Jupiter use to be beneficial. There is a hit and a chance for everyone, every 12 years. But it depends on who you are, where you are and how…

Personally, I expect something good to come out of it. As Jupiter in Leo is trine my Sun and Midheaven, too, my view on this may be ‘poluted’ by feeling OK and happy with a puppy on my lap. Last transit Jupiter on MC she (the puppy) entered my house for the first time. Pluto is in my 6th house to complete the domestic animal picture.

I know of a person whose transits of Jupiter never seem to help much at all, even though her natal Jupiter is in the 5th house of good luck. It is because she doesn’t leave her house much and because there is no possible improvement wherever she could go.
That makes me think that transit of Jupiter require space, room and belief in better days. Allow Jupiter to do his job and use the transits for improvement.  Jupiter conjunct Pluto helps to make things better, though sometimes this requires more than simply ‘wait and see’.

HOUSES of Jupiter conjunct Pluto
Transit Jupiter conjunct Pluto might improve your situation and/or offer you a chance to ‘make it better’ in the way of the house of the transit (so the house of your Pluto).

Well, really? Would it really matter in what house this transit takes place? Let me test this and use my chart as an example. Applying the method of Brady ‘Predictive astrology’ for my chart, the transit through 6 of the rulers of 9/10 and 8 placed in 12 and 6 would mean:

Jupiter conjunct Pluto: increasing wealth, intense happiness 6-12 cause; daily routine/work, health and seclusion  (Because of something in the field of health, daily routine and seclusion)6 situation: daily routine, work or health (in an ordinary situation)9/10 and 8 result: something definitely changes for good re position/condition

This ‘sounds’ like improved health conditions for me and NOT like winning the lottery:).

In aspect with other parts of the chart (like in my case Sun MC and Neptune ruler 1) you may expect even more. As Jupiter is now retrograde and will be back again in June, that may be the moment to tell you what happened.

HISTORY OF MY JUPITER LEO
But let me have a look at last time Jupiter went over Pluto in the 20th degree of Leo.

1.
I have August 1967 (Jupiter was direct, 1 hit)
I moved to another department in the company that I worked for. Nothing special, except that that was the time that I met someone who was as interested in astrology as I was. I calculated my Moon for the first time.

2.
I have August 1979 (Jupiter direct again, 1 hit)
Someone offered to take care of my child after school, so that I could find a job. This time the 6th house definitely showed! No recall of health issues.

3.
I have July 1991 (Jupiter direct,1 hit)
That was when I knew that the job I had since May was ‘forever’ (I would not be fired, I was to stay, they told me). A 6th house matter indeed. I don't remember anything re health issues.

4.
And now there is a 3 time hit because Jupiter is retrograding. The first time my puppy entered the house (see that post: http://astropost.blogspot.nl/2014/10/my-venus-trine-my-puppys.html ) and http://astropost.blogspot.nl/search/label/transit%20Jupiter%20trine%20MC.
I am not planning to buy 3 dogs. So it must be something else, like health or daily work, I thought. Today (Thursday 22) I went to see a person to discuss my latest blood test results and the conclusion was that it is never been better! She actually told me so with Jupiter at 19d36m04s, spot on trine Midheaven.

Now you may suspect that I planned this, but I didn’t. Because of a flue I couldn’t do the tests and I had to cancel an earlier appointment.
Now one more to go and this time I am planning! Use the ephemeris and see if it works and if you will be content and happy on the day that Jupiter is conjunct your Pluto (Sun or MC).

SO
Jupiter conjunct Pluto improves and makes you feel happy re the house of the transit and the meanings of that house. In your second house it might be during a good advice on financial problems. In the 10th it might improve your status somehow. Well, that still leaves a lot of possible expectations and: my example is one with Sun and MC cooperating. So it may be in a different way in your case and may even go unnoticed as some transits of Jupiter are.

PS Have you read the article on Astro.com on the astrology that you don't know (or notice) and how it effects you?

Second chance posts 2: Father Pio's stigmata

Some hardly ever read posts deserve a second chance. Here is one on a subject that may not be in the top 10 of most interesting subject (a fake holy man), but it holds several typical astrological clues to fans/followers (Jupiter-Neptune), successes (Jupiter-Pluto), creativity (quintiles), use/abuse of power (Mars-Pluto) and the end of a reputation (Saturn-Midheaven). That is why I give that post another try. Here it is.

November 11, 2007
FATHER PIO: HOLY or FAKE?

Dutch newspaper Trouw reports on the 8th of November that Saint Padre Pio (born May 25 1887 at 16h10 in Pietrecina) cheated on his audience. He applied the stigmata himself. Also it has become known that Pope John the 23rd was not convinced that Pio sticked to the celibate status of a roman catholic priest. Let us have a look at the chart of a roman catholic priest who still has many believers and followers who worship him.

The birth chart of Padre Pio shows us a man with a lot of self confidence and a strong ability to convince others. Jupiter is 'calling' (not making major aspects in sign). Pluto is rising before the Sun. The prominence of Jupiter and Pluto, making a creative quintile between them, applies to a succesful man.

In religious charts ('fake' or not) there are always combination of Jupiter and Neptune (conviction + immaterial). The closest aspect in the chart of Father Pio is that of Jupiter inconjunct Neptune. Sun, Saturn and Pluto all three make a hard aspect - in the 22.5 degree serie- with the midpoint Jupiter/Neptune.

Even after death, when your reputation is being discussed, transits and progressions stay alive. So it is in Pio's case.

Now that there are doubts about Saint Pio because of the statements of drugstore owners at the time who delivered material that could be used to produce stigmata, we see transit Pluto inconjunct the natal Mars-Neptune of Pio. The progressed Sun is beginning to change sign and next year (right after the square from Jupiter) this Sun will receive a square from Pluto. Is not the circle round?:)
Important moments in time are often marked by come-backs of astrological aspects in/with the natal chart.

BTW: in Pio's solar return chart for 2007 Saturn sits on the midheaven.

The real chart of Eusebio (Ferreira da Silva)

It is always a pleasure to point at a horrible transit when something goes wrong. I had transit Mercury inconjunct Pluto just now and yes: big blooper. That will teach me not to underestimate Mercury!
I posted the chart of another Eusebio, also a late soccer player, but born in another decade.

Here is the real chart of Eusebio, the famous football player who died today. There is no hour of birth, unfortunately, and that limits the number of indications for the fame and for what happened today. I can only point at the 'calling' international Jupiter (no aspects in sign or orb 5 degrees) and the out of bounds Pluto to get a highlighted success combination that Jupiter-Pluto is. And today, transit Pluto inconjunct Jupiter and Progressed Sun inconjunct Pallas (novile Uranus) were perhaps enough to end the life of Eusebio, who had health issues before.

Resonance of Uranus-Pluto and Jupiter-Pluto

When a transit repeats a natal aspect combination, this transit resonates the natal aspect. It sounds and resounds. It sounds harder on fruitful ground. When you just bought a new car, you see your brand everywhere. When you are pregnant, the world is full of pretty babies. And when you know what being poor is, you have a special eye for poverty, wherever you go. So, when you have an important natal Mars - Saturn aspect and  transit Saturn is square your Mars, or the mundane aspect is Mars conjunct Saturn, you respond.

URANUS SQUARE PLUTO
Now what to expect when there is a certain aspect in the air (like now: mundane Uranus square Pluto) and the same planets form an aspect in your natal chart (like Uranus conjunct Pluto in the 1964-1966 generation)? When Uranus and Pluto are connected to important planets or to the angels, you will likely experience the extreme tension of change and what happens in society might touch you more than it touches others.

I recently wrote about Anthony Weiner's chart. He was born in 1964, in September and Uranus hits his chart by transit now. (See: http://astropost.blogspot.nl/2013/07/the-scandal-in-chart-of-weiner.html ) He is in the news...again and again. And probably bloody nervous.

JUPITER OPPOSITE PLUTO
Jupiter in Cancer will soon be opposite Pluto in Capricorn. The Jupiter-Pluto aspect or midpoint combination is about success, intense confidence and growing values. The opposition adds some question marks. Gaining confidence and support is an issue.

The resonation of this aspect will be stronger when there is a similar combination of aspect with or in your natal chart. For example: when transit Pluto hits your Jupiter or vice versa. Or when you have a Jupiter-Pluto aspect in the natal chart.

Here are two examples of
a. Uranus conjunct Pluto in the natal chart and Uranus in aspect with progressed Sun,
b. AND transit Pluto now opposition natal Jupiter..
They are both in the news. One tries to find support (and buyers of his book). One already found support of his comrades.

1.
Edwin de Roy van Zuydewijn is the ex husband of Princess Margarita of the Netherlands and he is fighting the royals (as they are him: he accuses them of social murder). He is 45 now and there is not one company willing to give him a job. He is poor (his family supports him), lives somewhere in a deserted landscape of southern Europe on a simple farm, only accompanied by his dog Pablo. He is writing a book about his experiences with the royal family (in particular 'uncle Bernhard'). He was on television in the same week that there was (again) a trial against him. There is a whole lot of legal cases against him since his divorce…
Now that he is prominently in the news (even though there are holidays and less public),  transit Uranus is now trine his progressed Sun. Transit Pluto is now opposition his Jupiter. See the chart of the day of birth, transits and progressions.

BTW The Sun of Edwin de Roy van Zuydewijn is exactly conjunct Prince Bernhard's Pluto. It is evident that the Prince used the secret service to 'control' his daughter Irene's son-in-law.

2.
Kristin Beck was born Christopher Beck and a navy seal. She recently had her coming out on the internet. She was born in 1966 with Uranus conjunct Pluto, both square the importance Mars (rising before the Sun). Transit Pluto is now opposition her Jupiter, just like in the case of De Roy van Zuydewijn. Here is the chart of the day of birth, with transits and progressions.

Erika Leonard or E.L. James' best seller writer chart

Just like the charts of movie stars often reflect their main characters, the chart of an author may have aspects in line with his or her main characters or subjects. I found the day of birth of E.L.James (Erika Leonard). Her 'Fifty shades of Grey' is a Best Seller with capital B. It is an erotic trilogy.

Now look at that chart of March 7, 1963. There is a potential for a writer of erotic drama.

WRITER
Mercury is 'calling' (no major aspects in sign or orb 5 degrees) which means: communications (writing, singing, speaker) at any possible level. It is like in the chart of the author of Harry Potter, who also writes with her name in initials: J.K. Rowling.
FANTASY
- Sun trine Neptune: good for fantasy (and hiding behind a pseudo). This aspect is sort of repeated by the placement of the Sun in Neptune-ruled Pisces, with Moon in Sun-ruled Leo.
PASSION
- Venus opposition Mars (passion)
SWEET TENSION
- Venus inconjunct Uranus (desiring tension and surprise in love)
PROFIT
- Venus biquintile Pluto (creative way to earn money and a creative way to deal with intense desires)
SUCCESS
- Jupiter/Pluto midpoint is square natal Sun and that is one of the signs of success. It takes more, but strong self confidence is a good start!

It takes more (like an hour of birth) to complete the picture and find the aspects with Midheaven and Moon. Not every born on the 7th of March 1963 wrote such books. Here are three names of those born on March 7, 1963, too:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/March_7
They don't mention E.L. James on this page, yet, but here is the source:

MADame Ceres with transit Mars and Pluto

You know that Mars is square Pluto and sextile Jupiter today?
These transits of Mars, Pluto and Jupiter hit my midpoint Sun/Moon*). That is giving a whole lot of energy and drive. This aspect combination said: you are motivated (Sun/Moon) by an enormous amount of energy or ... work.

My Sun/Moon is conjunct Ceres (nutrition).  So those transits of Mars and Pluto and Jupiter also hit my Ceres. I happened to be angry about an overload of mistakes by care takers of my mother. Imagine: they gave her a wheel chair that was too high and 4 persons didn't notice that her feet were 4 feet above the floor! That is just one thing...
OK...
Maybe I simply had an overdose of caffeine. I had 4 cups and chocolate, too, today. This is what an overdose does on spiders' webs:

CERES
This seems to be a good moment to tell you about Sun/Moon = Ceres. You see:
Sun/Moon = Venus is motivated by kindness,
Sun/Moon = Mars is motivated by work or sex,
Sun/Moon = Mercury is motivated by words and plans,
Sun/Moon = Jupiter is motivated by coaches or wise words coming from a doctor or minister, Sun/Moon = Saturn is motivated by parents and ambition,
Sun/Moon = Uranus is motivated by change and turning worlds upside down,
Sun/Moon = Neptune is motivated by dreams and ideals or art,
Sun/Moon = Pluto is motivated by values, power and authorities, but
Sun/Moon = Ceres is motivated by the goddess of motherly care, nutrition and seeds or genes.
Let us say that you have to give me something to eat or drink if you want something done:). It is also true that I noticed that I like taking care of someone. (I should get a pet!)

ANGER
If I was an athlete, I would be happy today. Mars = energy!
Now I got angry! And I had every right to be angry! I had a very good reason to be angry! You know that song 'I am mad again'? If not, check YouTube:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XpXPcnKWztU
I felt a bit like that, even though I had no friend who was messing around with anyone I love. It is over now.  I am a MADame again. I even remained polite!
Don't worry!:) Transits get bye..

*)Transit Mars in Aries is square my Sun/Moon. Transit Pluto is conjunct my Sun/Moon. Transit Jupiter is inconjunct my Sun/Moon. The combination of Mars, Jupiter and Pluto often helps to achieve a lot (like the laundry:).

Happy New Year! It's Zero Aries today.

When the Sun leaves Pisces and enters Aries, a new cycle stars. The first degree of the astrological zodiac is Zero Aries (0-1 Aries) and the last one is 30 Pisces (29-30 Pisces). The exact moment of Sun in 0 Aries is the moment of astrological New Year.

It is an interesting and complicated Astro New Year's chart of 2013!
The chart of this New Year has a Yod (Jupiter with Saturn-Pluto) and the Moon-Uranus square is in aspect with Pluto. Meanwhile there is quintile Venus-Jupiter.

All charts have different positions of Ascendant and MC. That is why all positions are in different houses. But all charts have:

- Venus quintile Jupiter
Great for a party or a wedding! This aspect creatively increases fun and pleasure. It is a 'sweet sugar, sweet candy' aspect. The nasty side of a Venus-Jupiter aspect is getting fat and ... diabetes.  But not yet, not today. It might be a sign for a creative (quintile) solution (Jupiter) regarding money (Venus) and banks (Venus).

- Moon square Uranus
This will be mirroring the need for change, surprise, shock and news (again and again, sometimes disturbing). It is the aspect of emotional detachment and a moment of panic. Both Moon and Uranus are in aspect with the Yod.

- There is a Yod with Jupiter on the Apex. Saturn and Pluto are inconjunct Jupiter in Gemini. Governments and institutions are trying to find a balance in the budget, in taxes and in the world of money business (banks). Will the finger pointing at Jupiter point at hope and growth? Does this Yod reflect the success of austerity?

I think of what happens in Cyprus. The plan was that money of the people should be taken away in order to save the banks. The people didn't buy it. The parliament voted against it. The Euro dropped. It was communications with a loss involved. And now what? Those who studied economy don't know what to do next, it seems. There is a continuous stream of bad banks, countries in trouble and increasing pain for the citizens. Pluto in Capricorn and Saturn in Scorpio seem to cooperate to create ' die hards' , survivers only. Jupiter often is a help in times of trouble. Jupiter is the symbol of protection. Pope Francis used the theme of protection (Saint Joseph) in his inauguration speech. He pointed at the importance of helping each other and helping the poor, the common people. There is something in this Yod that reminds me of those words.

Jupiter is part of the Yod. Jupiter is quintile Venus. Let's see if the quintile as creative as it is supposed to be... Maybe then it is a real happy new year in Europe!

Another lottery winner's chart (t&p's)

Many millions can be won in the lottery, but only a few lucky guys have a chance to win. I have one more lucky date of birth to add to the list. It is June 25, 1946. Someone born on that day bought a lucky number. Above is the chart of the lottery moment. The green positions (transits) are for the day of birth of the winner.

Just like the other examples of winners of the lottery (see link), this man has a Jupiter-Uranus connection in the natal chart.
a. Jupiter is almost exactly trine Uranus.
b. The Sun is semi square Jupiter/Uranus midpoint.
More of us have such nice combinations (especially astrologers). Still we don't all win millions. Some of us because we don't even try. Most of us, because there can only be one.  It takes a lot of luck on the specific day. This guy had:

IN THE NATAL CHART
Moon in Taurus (maybe that is a help?:)

Jupiter trine Uranus
Sun semi square Jupiter/Uranus
             +
Jupiter semi sesquisquare Pluto (67.5d) (This aspect combination will be repeated in transit and means: lot of money or great value/success)

Uranus is important (rises before the Sun). (Transit Uranus was just past square Sun in March)

He has Mars semi square Jupiter.

That is in line with the other winners (see Astromarkt). They use to have a Jupiter-Uranus combination AND a Mercury-Jupiter or Mars-Jupiter aspect.

PROGRESSIONS (chart of 1 day after birth, valid for 1 year after birth)
Progressed Mercury sextile Progressed Venus means ' good notice'.

PROGRESSIONS AND TRANSITS
1. Transit Jupiter square Progressed Pluto (resonating the natal Jupiter-Pluto semi sesquisquare)
When a natal combination is being repeated by transit and/or progression, this transit or progression is more important than usual! Jupiter-Pluto is the combination of success.

2. Transit Venus inconjunct Progressed Jupiter (Venus-Jupiter is a party with a loss or getting out of balance involved; too much, too much)

TRANSITS
  • Transit Saturn square Mercury (he was rather late with his announcement. Saturn-Mercury apparently doesn't frustrate the chance to win, just communicating or getting to know it).
  • Transit Venus and Transit Mercury were sextile Saturn; cautious and careful…late, but in time
  • Transit Ceres square Saturn and transit Jupiter square Ceres: the ups and downs of harvest, dynasty…
  • It was on a Transit Sun trine Pluto day (a day to be a winner, the easy way)
  • Transit Pluto was inconjunct Venus: hey! That is the theme of earning or gaining money (Venus-Pluto) with an inconjunct (out of balance, a loss involved). Maybe he had to start donating and supporting from the moment that he had to make public that he won such a lot of millions.

LESSON?
What can you learn of this?
A. That it would be nice to see the hour of birth, of course:)
B. That it helps to have a Jupiter-Uranus natal and a Jupiter-Pluto transit combination
C. That you need not worry too much about transit Saturn with Mercury. You can even win the lotto on such a day!
D. That the transit Venus-Pluto inconjuncts aren't that bad when you win too many millions and your financial situation gets an overly positive balance:)
E. It is important to have at least 3 lucky transits and/or progressions.

Astrology doesn't work the other way. Even if you would have all the lucky aspects, there is a small chance to become a multi millionaire just like that.
For your comfort: too much money is worse than too little, says this site...

65th birthday Johan Cruijff

There are a number of blog posts about football on Astropost (just click here to start reading). Here is one more because of the 65th birthday of Johan Cruijff. This is the natal chart with transits and progressions for his debut (November 15, 1964).

The natal chart has a tight aspect combination of Mars, Jupiter and Pluto. Mars is exactly trine Pluto (intensifying energy, making muscles stronger:) and sesquisquare Jupiter.
The combination of Jupiter and Pluto promises success. With Mars, Jupiter/Pluto mirrors a success (Jupiter) with the drive to win (Mars-Pluto). But there is more...

Look at that combination again and you will see that each of the three planets involved in the 'combination of successful use of energy' have an important position in the chart.
a. The planet of drive, energy and competition is Mars. Mars, rises before the sun (planet of orientation field) and is strong in 'own' sign Aries.
b. Jupiter, square Ascendant (down under in the chart) for the international and the positivism
c. Pluto, for authority, is square Midheaven, connecting to the professional career.
This triples the importance of Mars-Jupiter-Pluto! The distances of Jupiter, Pluto and angles (Ascendant and Midheaven) make the difference between the chart of Cruijff and the charts of others born on the same day. Ascendant and Midheaven are related to time and place of birth. But that is not all.

Gender, genes, situation, conditions AND the chart worked together to make Johan Cruijff one of the best football players in the world. For that, you also need to be a man, you need to have the opportunity to play and you must get a chance. It is also great if the 'stars' are with you from the start (when you have a disappointing debut you might not get another chance).

Transit Jupiter was conjunct his progressed Sun in the days of his debut. And transit Jupiter was exactly on the midpoint between Midheaven and Progressed Midheaven.

PS Almost forgot to mention that AC/MC is sesquisquare Jupiter/Pluto!

Jupiter trine Pluto

Monday, March 12 Jupiter is exactly trine Pluto. That is astrologic for something
real big.
That is why I like to add this 'Bacchus' of Rubens every time that I think of Jupiter-Pluto. Because that is what happens when you grow the intense way, perhaps:).

Last time that Jupiter was trine Pluto (end of October 2011) a European agreement in Brussels raised trust on the financial market (but not for long!). Now is the second time and maybe it is a second chance. According to Chairman Van Rompuy last Friday (a day with Sun square Pholus) the crisis in Europe was then at a turning point (having reached an agreement about Greece again). Jupiter is the symbol of trust and hope and growth. Pluto is the symbol of intensity, power, money and values. According to Reinhold Ebertin in COSI the Jupiter-Pluto combination is socially related to economy and speculating. A trine makes it easy to intensify trust and cultivate power.

I know,  it is also Mercury retrograding time. I am curious about the way that this could alter the process of stimulating the economy. Meanwhile my optimism is growing, perhaps because that Jupiter-Pluto trine is trine my natal Mercury (and my Mercury is in aspect with Jupiter/Pluto midpoint). So let's see and take the opportunity to see a brilliant Venus-Jupiter conjunction in the sky knowing that this conjunction is trine Pluto.

Yes, this is the perfect time to observe the effect on the market and for yourself to see if this Venus-Jupiter-Pluto combination 'touches' your chart (Sun, Moon, MC, Ascendant, progressed Sun, progressed Moon: whatever near 9.35 degree of the fixed signs or in Capricorn or Virgo, for example or if you like: try the semi- and sesquisquares*).

Today's babies and those who are born with Jupiter and Pluto or the midpoint Jupiter/Pluto related to their Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Ascendant or MC might be interested in the earlier post:
Astropost: Jupiter/Pluto midpoint and aspect combinations
Well, the babies have to wait a bit longer, of course!

*) If you don't know much about degrees, just calculate your chart on Astro.com and see (it is for free). Birthdays involved: around April 29, August 1, January 29, November 1, December 31, September 1 etc.

Venus-Jupiter conjunction trine Pluto

Venus with Jupiter, that is a couple that really makes you happy! Maybe watching the conjunction at sunset on March 13, 2012 will be enough to make you feel glad. When the sky is clear you will be able to see the brightest ' stars' in the sky in the West. Here is the map:

As bright and beautiful as those planets are (from our point of view, feet on earth), as lovely is the meaning of the conjunction in astrology. Venus is the symbol of all that is nice, comfortable, pleasant and beautiful. Venus is love! Jupiter is the symbol of support, prosperity, being happy and successful. So when the two meet, there is a chance to have a party. On March 13 there is even more chance of a feeling happy, because the planets are very close, at the same 'level'. Two bright planets together...It will be a very lucky moment to get married.

VENUS-JUPITER: HAPPY PARTY TOGETHER!

The baby born on March 13 must be a fortunate and popular one, especially when Venus or Jupiter are places on the angles! The conjunction is good for getting a supporting partner later and for social successes in general. But if you were born on or around April 29, August 1, January 29, November 1, December 31 or September 1 you might also benefit from this conjunction in the 10th degree of Taurus. You will also feel good if you have an Ascendant in the 10th of Taurus, Capricorn, Virgo, Pisces or Scorpio. And maybe there is a bonus for those with the MC in those degrees. Even if the Venus/Jupiter conjunction is semi square or sesquisquare your Sun, MC or Ascendant (in the 25th of Gemini, for example), there might be pleasant moment on March 13. So if you want a have a party, and if the transit of Venus-Jupiter hits your chart, start sending invitations! And why not get married? I read about a 100 year old bride and checked her data. She married with Progressed Venus conjunct Progressed Jupiter on the day that she celebrated that she was 100 years old! Prince William and his Kate had a great party when they got married with aspects of Venus and Jupiter (see link).

POSITIVE MARKET?
There is another possible feel good moment: for finances. On October 26/27 last year there was a European Top in Brussel and transit Jupiter was trine Pluto. The good news about agreements had a positive effect on the financial market. It seems that there is another top meeting on March 9, maybe with a good effect for the market of March 13, if Jupiter trine Pluto still means growth...

Winter Solstice chart

The narrowest aspect in the Winter Solstice chart of 2011 is the applying trine between Sun and Jupiter. That is rather nice, this symbol of prosperity, even though the next one is Mars square Pholus (a turning point in a battle). In a way this Winter Solstice chart could point at growing hope and risky competition or aggression at the same time. If this was the chart of an individual, there would be self confidence and (because of that) growing prospects together with a tendency to take risks that could cause injuries. But only if this person was a military man or in a country at war or a later young lad who lives in the kind of neighborhood where one needs to fight to keep standing.
Zeus/Jupiter is the symbol of moving forward
A Sun trine Jupiter is a jolly good aspect for a day (or 3), but the Sun moves on and so do we. Last year's Jupiter conjunct Uranus gave hope, but 2011 showed us revolutions that ended in question marks and economic ups and downs that after all brought us all at a lower level. The Sun is trine Jupiter and square Uranus on December 22. That is just like last year again a picture of hope. We can only hope that this time Jupiter-Uranus will bring us sudden windfall and relief and not just the hope for it. The expectations of 2012 are very law and there are even ideas about the world's end. Every era has those kind of ideas, but let us face it: there is a world economy in trouble and the West begins to loose the competition with developing countries like India and China. In my country thousands face the end of their job. It won't be easy in 2012, they say, but I wonder about March 12, 2012.

On the 12th of March 2012 Jupiter in Taurus will be trine Pluto in Capricorn. Sounds like growing profit and success in the material world. Sounds like a good beginning of spring. Is that just hope?...I hope not. Last time there was good news about the Euro and the market went up with Jupiter trine Pluto. So...perhaps this will happen again. But just like Sun trine Jupiter this aspect will be over and gone in a few days. And few of us will benefit from stocks rising...

I don't know what to think of this years Winter Solstice chart. The world is not homogeneous. People are different and so are countries and economies. But all human beings want to have hope for the years to come. In that sense it is great to see that there is still hope in the charts of astrological and calendar charts of importance. Hope keeps us going, so let us keep hope!

The bride today: Kate Middleton

Yesterday I wrote about Sun/Moon and Mars-combinations and the Sun/Moon-Mars synastry between couples. Mars is often the symbol of the man in your life. I met my husband with Midheaven conjunct the midpoint Sun/Mars, for example.

Today, April 29, 2011 Prince William marries Kate Middleton and see: there is a Mars-Sun connection. Her progressed Sun is trine progressed Mars and her Progressed Mars is also square the natal Sun.
There is more (there always is:): Transit Jupiter is semi square natal Venus for having a party (Venus+Jupiter=more fun). And transit Pluto sextile natal Jupiter mirrors the rise in status.  The complete astrological picture is that of a woman who could now share her life (sun) with that of a man (Mars) and have great success. And there is a celebration now, too.
