Valentine's Day 2015

Happy Valentine!

The chart of Valentine’s day 2015 looks good for lover’s fun. Why? Because Venus is biquintile Jupiter and that's good for creative parties and marriages. Those who celebrate their birthday or will be born on February 14, 2015 may have more than one reason to congratulate themselves. It is the weekend before Carnaval and that is a weekend of music and funny events in the southern part of my country.

It is a good day, but of course: not for all of us. Life and love happens to depend more on genes, situation and circumstances beyond our choices than on our character, feelings and astrology chart. And not to mention: age! I had Progressed Sun conjunct Venus when I was 6 and could have met the love of my life!:)

This year’s Valentine’s day starts in Western Europe with Juno elevated conjunct MC. Juno, you know, is the symbol of the wedded wife and marriage. Meanwhile, Venus and Mars in Pisces are in the 5th house of ‘the other gender’ or playmates, so it is a nice chart to start with.

This Valentine’s Day it is not true that blonds have more fun. Any hair color will have a nice Valentine’s day if their birthday is on March 12 or 13, and Venus is on your natal Sun. Peter Doherty , who completed rehab in January this year, is such a lucky person. But, dear readers, there is a DISCLAIMER!
Transits of Venus are fast, go bye in a second and are light hearted. So if you happened to look the other way, you won’t even notice the beauty when she goes. Important things like meeting a partner happen in important astrological times. That is when there are more than 2 indications.

So, Venus should best be accompanied by progressions in case of serious plans in love. If you just want to have some fun or send a kind little present, Venus’ transits will do.

These days, Valentine's Day is the day that you celebrate with your loved one. Once it was a friends' day. And there was a time when Valentine was a secret lover.  Valentine is flexible. So am I. I use not to use sun signs, but let me have some fun and tell you about your sun sign Valentine day:

ARIES
Lots of Valentine's Days, Aries have a Venus in the 12th house position and that is great for sending flowers, chocolate and cards to secret loves.

TAURUS
Celebrating Valentine's Day with friends? Have a party!

GEMINI
You may use Valentine's Day to ask or be asked to get married this year. If you already found your love, why not tell the world about it?

CANCER
Your home is your castle, but maybe this year you should ask your partner for a ride or a flight. If you are single, find your love in a library, a plane, abroad or in a travel agency. No gain, no pain.

LEO
Don't buy diamond rings if you can't afford them!

VIRGO
Looking for passion? Or is the romantic dwell of Venus and Mars in Pisces too much? In that case, go to the cinema and see a movie like Fifty Shades. Afterwards, have an ice cream.

LIBRA
Though you like to take it easy, the best way to demonstrate your love is to serve others this year. My advice is to find an easy and clean way to do so.

SCORPIO
Bet you are the most desirable and passioned lover this Valentine's weekend! Or maybe you always are?

SAGITTARIUS
Love is in the air of the bar, dancing place or cinema for you this Valentine.

CAPRICORN
Talking about love and sex this Valentine weekend? Talk to someone special...

AQUARIUS
Find your love and passion in a bank or in the country this Valentine! And if you have one, show your appreciation!

PISCES
Perfume, roses and a good movie complete Valentine's Day. You are in the mood!

Your personal horoscope can be matched with the advices above, easily, wherever you are.
Keep it cool, be nice and have a great weekend!

Use the links for when you are in the mood for romance…

Selecting a wedding date

Today is a special day: the 11th of December of 2013 (11-12-13 in Europ). Numerous couples tried to schedule their marriage at 14h15. Here is more on the chart of that moment in Amersfoort (Netherlands) , when 9 couples will get married. It is a good chart for a wedding.
There are a few reasons why this is a good chart for a wedding ceremony:
1. Venus doesn't make aspects in sign or orb 5 degrees.
2. Jupiter is elevated
3. Mars is also 'calling' (no aspects in orb 5 degrees)
4. Vesta is on the horizon
Venus and Jupiter are always 'in' for a party. The prominence of Venus and Mars points at the passion of that moment. And Vesta conjunct Ascendant presents the perspective of a warm house.

Of course, there are also lesser aspects. Eris in the 7th house might be indicative for the jealousy of not selected couples. Uranus and Pluto on the corner stones of the chart present high tension (the media is interested, there are a lot of couples getting married at once...). And how about Mars in Libra? Sometimes there is just too much 'fire'. But don't worry...

Wedding charts are just one of the charts involved in a marriage. More important are the charts of the partners, their synastry and the shared aspects. It also matters how the progressed charts and transits of each of the partners are. And then the exact day or hour is of minor importance. I got married with Juno on the Ascendant of the wedding chart and on a Venus conjunct Jupiter day. Juno was conjunct Saturn and opposition Mars. It was on December 31 1970, icy cold. Perhaps that is how the marriage remained fresh:).

For a wedding party (and any other party) it is best if it is on a day with an aspect between Venus and Jupiter or with Venus or Jupiter in aspect with the positions in the charts of the partners involved. Don't forget to have a look at the position of Juno!

A Juno experience

In an earlier post I asked myself if Juno represents Mr or Mrs Right (follow the link to see the post).  I found that if that is true, there are many possible Mr or Mrs Rights in our lives, because there happens to be a variety of transits and progressions with Juno in a life time. Of course, you need to have the right age and circumstances to experience Juno. This week I am one of the examples. I am married for decades, but I signed a civil partnership document, as a witness, in a State Hall. It was my son's official happy day. Juno was there, too.

1. I had transit Juno exactly conjunct my progressed Midheaven.
2. My daughter in law had Progressed Venus - her ruler 7 - on the progressed Descendant and trine the Progressed Midheaven. Her progressed Juno was exactly square the processed Ascendant and inconjunct progressed IC.
Venus AND Juno are both signs of marriage.

To complete it all, the transit Northern Node was conjunct her and my son's Ascendant, symbolizing joining as a family. My son had transit Jupiter trine progressed Moon in the 7th house for the happy moment. Juno didn't hit his natal or progressed chart, but progressed Venus ruler 7 was on the natal midpoint of MC and Mars.

My conclusion: Juno is indeed a symbol of partnership and marriage. I experienced it.

When love is in the air, love is in the sky above. This must be the conclusion when you see the examples of charts  in times of marriage or divorce.

The Queen in the chart of Maxima Zorreguieta

Little girls dream of getting married to a Prince, preferably riding a white horse. Some girls realized that dream. I already published about the chart of Princess Gracia of Monaco (Grace Kelly), who was a movie star before she married. We know about Princess Diane and the husband of the Queen of Sweden to be. Start here if you are interested in their charts: http://astropost.blogspot.nl/2010/05/dream-weddings-in-astrology.html

This blog is about the chart of Maxima Zorreguieta. Tomorrow she will be Queen Maxima. Where is the future queen in her chart?

I quote myself:
Princess Maxima of the Netherlands married a rich boy who will be king one day. Her Venus is in hard aspect with Jupiter/Pluto. (Means: social success by marriage)
In the days around her wedding day the progressed Descendant was conjunct Juno, the symbol of the married woman. Juno is sextile her natal MC.
With Venus trine her Ascendant it is no surprise that she is the most popular one of the Dutch royal family. (She also is the prettiest and she has style:)
She has (Mercury and) Venus in a (wider) inconjunct with the conjunction of Jupiter and Neptune. And that is a combination for a fairytale (and don't we all love fairy tales?)
Here is her natal chart, progressed to April 30, 2013, the day that she will be named Queen. Transit Pluto is opposite Juno and trine Midheaven on that day. There are a few quincunxes coming up, like progressed Sun inconjunct Mars and that is reason to be worried, perhaps, but that is for later:

TIME FOR A WIFE: 1999
Her husband's progressed Ascendant was at 0d0m Sagittarius on the day that he first saw her, April 20 1999.  They met when he was 'in the mood' to find a wife and she was 27.

There are 3 indications in that direction and 3 is a crowd!
1. transit Jupiter sextile his Venus for the ball and the party:)
2. progressed Mars on his way to make a trine with Venus (man meets woman:)
3. progressed Venus almost conjunct progressed Ceres (joining the concepts of 'love' and 'dynasty'/motherhood)
4. the progressed Sun had already moved away from the sextile with Juno (high time to see her!)

Her Progressed Moon was exactly square his Progressed Sun on that day. So they noticed each other!

SUN-SATURN
I strongly believe that her Ascendant is in the 30th degree of Sagittarius, rather than in the first of Capricorn. Just see the enthusiastic behavior and you will agree that that is how she presents herself: open, direct and full of joy. Not withstanding the fact that she is a very ambitious lady! So maybe the trine of her Venus in Sagittarius is just very strong. She has Sun conjunct Saturn and Saturn rises before the Sun. She may look spontaneous, but she is in control. She may look like a party animal, but she did her study, she didn't give her self away to the first bidder and she always looks perfect. That is very Saturn! It is also very Saturn that the protocol will limit her life style, certainly from now on. More of the civil girls marrying future kings have a Sun-Saturn aspect. I wrote about that here: http://astropost.blogspot.nl/2011/12/sun-saturn-royal-spouses.html

SUN-MARS
The Queen (in fact: the queen consort) to be is more popular than the successor is. For that, I like to point at the fact that her Mars is square his Sun. There is a little bit of competition between them, at least in the polls. But, as he said: only one can be the king and that is me. He will be the king and she will beat him in the polls:).

MARRIAGE
They married on February 2, 2002. That was with Juno conjunct Descendant in her progressed chart. Juno was on the progressed Descendant of Princess Madeleine when she was engaged. (http://astropost.blogspot.nl/2012/10/juno-and-engagement-princess-madeleine.html )

But now: where is the Queen in this chart? There are few future kings in the world and she had one. She was on the right place in the right time. You couldn't possibly have had a ticket to enter the party that day. Even not with the help of this kind lady, not even if you had a chimney:)...But I am sure that you found or will find your Prince Charming one day! And if you got the frog, never mind. There is always the fairy tale!

Venus-Jupiter conjunction trine Pluto

Venus with Jupiter, that is a couple that really makes you happy! Maybe watching the conjunction at sunset on March 13, 2012 will be enough to make you feel glad. When the sky is clear you will be able to see the brightest ' stars' in the sky in the West. Here is the map:

As bright and beautiful as those planets are (from our point of view, feet on earth), as lovely is the meaning of the conjunction in astrology. Venus is the symbol of all that is nice, comfortable, pleasant and beautiful. Venus is love! Jupiter is the symbol of support, prosperity, being happy and successful. So when the two meet, there is a chance to have a party. On March 13 there is even more chance of a feeling happy, because the planets are very close, at the same 'level'. Two bright planets together...It will be a very lucky moment to get married.

VENUS-JUPITER: HAPPY PARTY TOGETHER!

The baby born on March 13 must be a fortunate and popular one, especially when Venus or Jupiter are places on the angles! The conjunction is good for getting a supporting partner later and for social successes in general. But if you were born on or around April 29, August 1, January 29, November 1, December 31 or September 1 you might also benefit from this conjunction in the 10th degree of Taurus. You will also feel good if you have an Ascendant in the 10th of Taurus, Capricorn, Virgo, Pisces or Scorpio. And maybe there is a bonus for those with the MC in those degrees. Even if the Venus/Jupiter conjunction is semi square or sesquisquare your Sun, MC or Ascendant (in the 25th of Gemini, for example), there might be pleasant moment on March 13. So if you want a have a party, and if the transit of Venus-Jupiter hits your chart, start sending invitations! And why not get married? I read about a 100 year old bride and checked her data. She married with Progressed Venus conjunct Progressed Jupiter on the day that she celebrated that she was 100 years old! Prince William and his Kate had a great party when they got married with aspects of Venus and Jupiter (see link).

POSITIVE MARKET?
There is another possible feel good moment: for finances. On October 26/27 last year there was a European Top in Brussel and transit Jupiter was trine Pluto. The good news about agreements had a positive effect on the financial market. It seems that there is another top meeting on March 9, maybe with a good effect for the market of March 13, if Jupiter trine Pluto still means growth...

Saturn in Libra

This year and next year (till October 5, 2012) Saturn is in Libra and that means that for whoever is born with Saturn in Libra it will be hard to decide anything. But also for others, because Saturn is serious company. So: time for tossing and turning, throwing coins, asking oracles and horaries...

SATURN, LIBRA AND 7th HOUSE
With Saturn in Libra  in the 7th house the field of the hard choice is relationships. For someone with Saturn in Libra in the 7th it will not only be very hard to be sure if the partner is the really really one and only Mr. or Mrs. Right. He or she might have to make a difficult choice one day, a go or no go, or a stay or leave. And most often the sense of duty, or parenthood, will keep them in their position. Saturn in Libra will eventually find a balance, but until then it might be hard to weigh it all.

A good exemple of someone who didn’t seem to hurry to officially get married, is Prince Albert of Monaco. He already has children with two women and a fiancée and he married in 2011, age 58! He has Saturn in the 7th house (but not in Libra). Of course, you have to be cautious who to marry when this woman will be the mother of the next Prince...

In some parts of Europe people use NOT to get married these days, even if there are children. They don’t get married because they feel they don’t need an official license (and they don’t, as there are other ways to make financial commitments). Maybe it is also because of the fact that the church has less and less influence in the last decades of the Age of Pisces. In Denmark 60% of the children are born out of wetlock. Parenthood and marriage has split. Fathers and mothers call each other their ‘ friends’. Two generations ago they called each other ‘ mother’ and ‘father’, sometimes even when the children weren’t around! The roles of the individuals in a relationship changed. They are no longer parents, they are partners. That is what started with the Pluto in Libra generation, at least: that is when the crowd followed the pioneers. Read about it here:

But, when you are the King-to-be, you should get married, even or especially with Saturn in Libra, the symbol of the contract in the marriage, the duties, obligations and responsibilities for a partner and the endurance of relationships, ' in sickness and in health'. That is why it is so hard then to select the right one.

Saturn in Libra
A heavyweight hanging in a balance just asks for contra weight or else ends upside down. Company and partnership is very important for you and sometimes a burden load. You feel obliged to be loyal and like to make contracts to be sure of the other person (and yourself).

Wedding in Monaco and Sun-Neptune synastry

Prince Albert of Monaco has been a long time most wanted bachelor, but now Charlene 'got him' and the wedding will take place on July 2 and July 3. However, there seems to be a leak in the palace who told the press that Albert managed to become the father of a 3rd child out of wedlock, during the time with Charlene. The wedding was almost cancelled, the source said.
Albert has a hard chart to get married, and he already pays for 2 children (after the mothers proved that he was the father). Now I happened to read the article of Sun-Neptune synastry and not trusting your partner, written by Ruby Slipper (for the link, continue....) and I know that there is a Sun-Neptune synastry between Albert and Charlene. This kind of stories does not help her to trust him more, I guess. Challenging aspects between Sun and Neptune are often about being seen (Sun) in a negative light (Neptune). Negative press is also part of the picture when there is a Sun-Neptune conflict and you are a VIP. So, in a relationship this aspect is very confusing at least.

In 2008, when I first looked at the chart, I was not using Pholus , the asteroid with the name of the centaur who shot himself in the foot. But now I see that transit Pholus (in the 16th degree of Sagittarius) is inconjunct his Progressed Sun in the 16th of Taurus. This is reflecting a  risk of getting hurt by what you do at a turning point in life. And yes, it is quite a turning point in life when you marry at that age and for the first time. BTW, the Sun is also quindecile (165d) Jupiter and Jupiter rules the seventh house of marriage. It means that there is a strong focus on getting married. In fact, the whole world seems to be focussed on this marriage now.
==================================
PS I would like to write more, but I am using a mini computer now. Today I had progressed Moon trine Pluto, Sun and Midheaven (means feeling strong and manifesting it). So I rubbed the screen of my MacBook and bang! The screen seems to have been broken in two behind the glass....that is how strong I was, I guess:)

The bride today: Kate Middleton

Yesterday I wrote about Sun/Moon and Mars-combinations and the Sun/Moon-Mars synastry between couples. Mars is often the symbol of the man in your life. I met my husband with Midheaven conjunct the midpoint Sun/Mars, for example.

Today, April 29, 2011 Prince William marries Kate Middleton and see: there is a Mars-Sun connection. Her progressed Sun is trine progressed Mars and her Progressed Mars is also square the natal Sun.
There is more (there always is:): Transit Jupiter is semi square natal Venus for having a party (Venus+Jupiter=more fun). And transit Pluto sextile natal Jupiter mirrors the rise in status.  The complete astrological picture is that of a woman who could now share her life (sun) with that of a man (Mars) and have great success. And there is a celebration now, too.

Transit Venus and Jupiter, a wedding and April Taurus

Recently I was called by a family member. He had proposed to his friend and he would inform me about the wedding date soon. I know that he has Ascendant opposition Venus in the progressed chart right now. After he told me about the wedding date I had a quick look at the prognosis for Taurus (he is a Taurus; I mean the astrological one:). You know that  Venus-Jupiter is the combination of two symbols of joy and fun? Together they are the recipe for a party. In the prognosis for sunsigns for 2011 I wrote a special message for the April Taurus: the best time  to plan a party was end of August (when Venus and Jupiter is on the side of the sunsign Taurus). That relative of mine is NO fan of astrology. He is a Taurus, born in April. He told me that he planned the wedding party ...on August 26. He did that without reading the horoscopes for 2011.

Apparently some people just do the right thing at the right moment:).

BTW I especially recommend August 30 for those born on April 30. Venus is trine Jupiter and transit Venus will be trine the natal Sun and transit Jupiter will be conjunct the Sun. One of them is the Swedish King (Carl Gustaf) who desperitely needs a party after transit Saturn square Sun (see the link).

Wedding day of William and Kate

The progressions and transits for the wedding day of William and Kate are so nice, that I just had to mention them. You know that Venus is the symbol of love, sweetness and fun. Jupiter is the symbol of happiness and success. Neptune is the planet of romance. Together they are the combination of the fairy tale or dream marriage! This trio is in the chart of Prince William starting end of April of 2011! Venus and Neptune are important in the chart of William on the day of the wedding ceremony. In the follow-up there is Progressed Venus trine Jupiter. The meaning of these progressions and transits is: a romantic wedding day and good feelings afterwards. Love is in the air and in the chart of Prince William.

On the wedding day (April 29, 2011):
- The progressed Venus of William is conjunct his natal Sun (and that means the start of married life with the love of your life).
- Neptune is trine this conjunction for the romantic touch.
- And another good indication is progressed Venus trine Jupiter, later in 2011, for the happy couple. No regrets:)
(There is only one 'but': transit Uranus inconjunct Midheaven. That is for an overdose of tension and nerves, I presume.)

Kate's progressed Mars square Sun and trine progressed Sun is a double symbol of marriage. (The midpoint Sun/Mars in the chart of a woman is also the midpoint of marriage -meaning: living with a man, sharing life with a man, the 'man in your life' -). Her Ascendant and Midheaven might also be 'touched' by the event, but as her hour of birth is unknown, this remains a mystery.

Here is the natal chart of Willam with transits and progressions for the perfectly chosen date of the wedding. With such beautiful aspects you might wonder if an astrologer selected this date...or...that there is indeed correspondence between the positions in a chart and real life events...Love is in the air...

PS
What is interesting is, that the wide Sun square Mars in the natal chart is resonating in this double Mars-Sun combination while his Venus inconjunct Neptune is resonated by Neptune trine progressed Venus. Perhaps that illustrates the importance of the event or shows how their natural hesitations will have been 'overruled' on April 29, 2011.
