Jupiter trine Pluto

Monday, March 12 Jupiter is exactly trine Pluto. That is astrologic for something
real big.
That is why I like to add this 'Bacchus' of Rubens every time that I think of Jupiter-Pluto. Because that is what happens when you grow the intense way, perhaps:).

Last time that Jupiter was trine Pluto (end of October 2011) a European agreement in Brussels raised trust on the financial market (but not for long!). Now is the second time and maybe it is a second chance. According to Chairman Van Rompuy last Friday (a day with Sun square Pholus) the crisis in Europe was then at a turning point (having reached an agreement about Greece again). Jupiter is the symbol of trust and hope and growth. Pluto is the symbol of intensity, power, money and values. According to Reinhold Ebertin in COSI the Jupiter-Pluto combination is socially related to economy and speculating. A trine makes it easy to intensify trust and cultivate power.

I know,  it is also Mercury retrograding time. I am curious about the way that this could alter the process of stimulating the economy. Meanwhile my optimism is growing, perhaps because that Jupiter-Pluto trine is trine my natal Mercury (and my Mercury is in aspect with Jupiter/Pluto midpoint). So let's see and take the opportunity to see a brilliant Venus-Jupiter conjunction in the sky knowing that this conjunction is trine Pluto.

Yes, this is the perfect time to observe the effect on the market and for yourself to see if this Venus-Jupiter-Pluto combination 'touches' your chart (Sun, Moon, MC, Ascendant, progressed Sun, progressed Moon: whatever near 9.35 degree of the fixed signs or in Capricorn or Virgo, for example or if you like: try the semi- and sesquisquares*).

The bankruptcy in the chart of Patricia Kluge-Rose

Patricia Kluge divorced John Kluge 20 years ago and had a lot of money, but now she filed for bankruptcy. Millions (and some say billions) have gone...What does the chart say? 

I won’t start with the transits of Pholus and Saturn (nasty turning point). I start where it starts: with the natal chart.  And with her marriage with John Kluge. That is when her lifestyle changed in a dramatic way. Here is her chart with the transits for now:

LIFE AND MARRIAGE

Her name was Patricia Rose and she was a pauper before she was a belly dancer and porn star. Then she met a rich man who fell in love with her. Her 'Midas' was John Kluge. He was married and she had a relationship, too, when they met. 

I like to point at Pholus in the 7^th house of marriage. Her marriage (7^th house) was a turning point in life (Pholus)! John Kluge turned her life into gold in a fairy tale marriage - in the eyes of the public - (Venus/Neptune square Jupiter). And when he died, the economic crises was repainting her life again…Both times Pluto was there! Jupiter, prosperity, crashes and (Zero?) Aries

It is funny how the call for prosperity (Obama's State of the Union address today) is in line with the postiions in his chart. Prosperity, that is Jupiter. And transit Jupiter in Zero Aries is now exactly opposition his progressed Sun. Also, the progressed Sun is trine Jupiter within a few months time. Here is the chart:

ZERO

Jupiter's position in the first degree of the astrological zodiac means that it is time for prosperity and a complete new start in order to get it. Jupiter was on Zero Aries before, of course, like in March 1987 and in March 1975. I checked to see if there was any fresh start for prosperity in those days. It was the year of the Portugese revolution (April 25, 1975) and of the Watergate scandal (January 1, 1975).  Mozambique and Angola became independent of Portugal. But nothing special happened in March. In 1975 the term Fractal was first used. What is a fractal? Is it a rough fragmented geometric shape that can be split into parts, each of whis is  a reduced-size copy of the whole (self-similarity). What is good about a fractal? It seems to be of use in biology and mathematics. 

In 1987, in October we had Black Monday after stocks peaking in August!!! Prosperity grew too much and we landed hard. I don't know if the value of stocks grew since March, I'm afraid.

Now how about this?

That crash was with Jupiter in the 26th of Aries (which happens to be about Zero Aries in a sidereal chart). Food for thought! Not just because Jupiter had an important position in the sidereal chart, but also because Jupiter brought the opposite of fortune then.

Progressions, Pholus and Steve Jobs.

Astropost's January posts are dedicated to the progressed chart. Progressions are indicating developments (changes in the long term). Pholus is the symbol of the turning point. With transit Pholus in hard aspect with a progressed Sun, Moon, AC, MC or planet there is a turning point in a developing career or life in general. Here are some examples, like Steve Jobs (Apple).

The examples show you the effect of Pholus:

• Whoopi Goldbergs' transit Pholus conjunt Progressed Mercury when she 'confessed' to have been unfaithful in the past (turning point in communications)
• L. Ron Hubbards had transit Pholus square Progressed Sun when he became a religious leader (turning point in lifestyle)
• Ricky Martin had his ' coming out' with transit Pholus semi square AC/MC (the midpoint of Ascendant and Midheaven; it means a complete turning point)
• Silvio Berlusconi surprisingly won regional elections with transit Pholus was sextile his Progressed Mars (and P Mars on AC/MC): that is for an easy twist of faith in a battle.
• Among other indications progressed Venus was conjunct natal Pholus when a dog bit the lips of Maradonna. That might have been a turning point in affection or preferences;)
• Father Murphy (not the television character) had progressed Venus quindecile Pluto at age 25, when he became a priest and started abusing boys.

Progressions, success and career

Up to now the posts about progressions (hot item here in January) have discussed single aspect combinations and positions. But, there is nothing single about your chart! A chart is like a cake. It is not just the cream, it is not just the chocolate or the sugar and it is not just the oven or the cook. It is the combination of all that. Progression should be seen in the light of the natal chart (and of course of the situation, condition, age, culture and status of the nativity). However, some guys seem to have all the progressive luck. ..A good example of prosperous progression is the chart of one of the richest man in the world: Bill Gates. He had a splendid career. His progressed chart shows the way, his natal chart shows the foundation. And Jupiter/Pluto was a great help on the way. But it was not just all that, of course...

JUPITER AND PLUTO

Jupiter and Pluto are the planets of growth and challenges. Together they are the combination of growing potential. Jupiter and Pluto are in his  natal second house of income (a growing potential of earning money). This combination keeps coming back in the progressive chart, whenever there is an important moment or chance to become rich(er) and more successful! When he was 22 the progressed Sun was square Jupiter and Pluto. The MC is on Jupiter and Pluto when he is 35. The potential for success (Jupiter/Pluto) was highlighted when he was young enough to grow and old enough to benefit from the aspects!

1.  His parents were lawyer and teacher (both ‘Jupiter’ –academic - professions). At the age of thirteen he began to use a computer. Progressed Mars was opposition progressed Midheaven in that year, so he must have been very ‘driven’ .When he was 17 (with progressed Sun conjunct Saturn – he started a business-, MC conjunct Moon –changing prospects-  and progressed Moon square Jupiter and Pluto – feeling great, a memorable moment of success- he sold his first program!

When you experience a great memorable moment of success when you are young, that will support your self esteem.

2. Microsoft was founded on April 4, 1975. The transit Jupiter/Pluto midpoint was trine his Natal Sun on that day and Jupiter was almost conjunct the Midheaven of the A-rated chart.

3. The breakthrough of Microsoft was in 1980 (with primairy Pluto and Jupiter on the MC and progressed Moon opposition Jupiter and Pluto at the same time).

4. The company went public on March 13, 1986. That was in the year of transit Pholus opposition natal Sun (a turning point, started by others or influences outside), with Jupiter inconjunct natal IC (a success, but with a lost – in this case the influence of shareholders, for example) and Pluto oppostion progressed Midheaven (a complete change of destiny). Progressed Mercury was trine Progressed Uranus (mind changing times). And Progressed Sun/Moon was conjunct natal and Progressed Pluto in that year: values and value become the main point of interest!

4. When he married (1.1.1994) the progressed Sun/Moon midpoint was in the 29^th degree of Libra. Progressed Midheaven was in the 15^th degree of Taurus. The quindecile MC-Sun/Moon tells us about the strong focus on family life and marriage at that time.

5. 15th of June 2006 Bill Gates announced his withdrawel from Microsoft (to spend more time on his charity foundation) in July 2008. That is when Progressed Sun is sextile Neptune, a perfect symbol, even more because Neptune is the planet for voluntairy work and idealism. And the sextile with Neptune could be read as the ‘way out’ to a withdrawal.

6. His final speech for the company was with transit Jupiter square Midheaven and progressed Midheaven square Pluto (and inconjunct Neptune).

7. Last but not least: When he was 22 the progressed Sun was square Jupiter and Pluto. The MC is on Jupiter and Pluto when he is 35.

Jupiter and Pluto were there when it was important to be there. And they already ‘announced’ financial potential. There were many more indications for wealth in the natal chart.

NATAL CHART: THE BASICS

a.   Element earth is missing (and that makes the material things important at any possible level, somehow and anyhow).

b.  The Sun is in the fifth house and the Moon is in the ninht. The fifth and ninth house are the lucky houses of the 12, because the cusp of these houses are 120d (trine) Ascendant.

c.   Venus in Scorpio square Pluto (money, money, money…)

d.  Jupiter-Pluto is the narrowest aspect.

e.   Midpoint combinations for success are: Jupiter square Sun/Node, Jupiter sesquisquare Sun/MC, Jupiter conjunct Mars/AC and Pluto conjunct Mars/AC, Node in hard aspect with Mars/Jupiter and Mars/Pluto, Midheaven in hard aspect with Mars/Jupiter and Mars/Pluto.

f.    Midpoints indicating success and growth are: Jupiter square Sun/Nodes and 135 degrees from Sun/MC Jupiter and Pluto conjunct Mars/Ascendant and: Node and MC square /opposite Mars/Jupiter and Mars/Pluto

THE INGREDIENTS 

Of course there is more and it is not just about his chart. He had the right profession in the right era and he had the right friends...With whatever chart or progression or transit nothing will happen if you are not ' out there' where 'the action is' . ..

The prominent Sun and Mars of August Busch IV

August Busch IV, now in the news because of the death of his friend, has a prominent Mars and Sun in the chart and that is perfectly in line with being a leading entrepeneur. 

First of all: Mars rises before his Sun and Mercury and doesn't make any aspect. This calling and orientational Mars tells us that he wants action, that he is fit for entrepeneur, the military or anything 'martial'. I read on Wikipedia

"August A. Busch IV holds advanced black belt degrees in the martial arts "...

Next is the Sun. The Sun in the 25th of Gemini is quintile Uranus, illustrating a creative way to be independent as a star, leader, showman or performer....He is leading a company and knows how to draw attention. 


Perhaps he inhereted the qualities to lead and promote, but it is there anyway, prominently in the chart. Day of birth of billionaire Mukesh Ambani

On July 17, 2008 I wrote about Mukesh and Anil Ambani and the astrological reasons for their differences and their clash about business. Mukesh Ambani (owner of Reliance) has Saturn calling in his chart and sesquisquare natal Sun and Venus. Since he split up with his brother, he is managing on his own and that is perfectly in line with Sun-Saturn (see the post about Sun and Saturn). The important Saturn tells a lot about business, ambitions and status. He is in the news because of a house warming party in his new house, a 28 floor appartment building in Mumbay, worth a billion. Astrology of Facebook man Mark Zuckerberg

Mark Zuckerberg had an idea and now he is one of the richest persons in the world. He invented Facebook. Why he? Without hour of birth there are the following tools to see.

1. He has a 'calling' Mercury (a mercury without major aspects in sign or orb 5 degrees). That means that he is in for communication at any possible level.

2. Uranus is also ' calling' and that is a statement for controversy and rebellion as well as for... techniques. 

3. Pholus doesn't make major aspect, either. 

Now we have 3 important positions, for Mercury, Uranus and Pholus. Together they mean: 

a turning point in communication techniques.

There is more, like always...He also has 3 biquintiles in the natal chart. Biquintiles are good for creations. And speaking of creatons and arts: Venus sesquisqaure Neptune is for sensitivity.  Of course, you can have ideas and make no money at all. Not Zuckerberg! He is a Taurus with Moon in Scoprio. These signs are ruled by Venus and Pluto. His Venus is quindecile Pluto and both are strong in own sign. It is an indication for a strong focus on earning money. And then we have Jupiter, trine Venus and quintile Pluto to add some succes, support and luck...How much more individual chart position does one need to make it to the top?:) He is even richer than Steve Jobs (Apple) (link to his chart and the synastry with his business partner Wozniak).

HOW ABOUT YOU?
If you were born on the same day as Mark Zuckerberg and you are not a wealthy man or woman, don't blame your chart. But, you will always be the kind of person to make money, talk/write/communicate a lot and make the world a better place or change the world (perhaps through inventions).

Ceres and the will of Liliane Bettencourt

Writer François-Marie Banier is no longer the heir of Liliane Bettencourt, principle shareholder of l'Oreal. He had enough, she said. She gave him about one billion during their friendship and her daughter Françoise started a trial against the 'exploitation of the weakness' of her mother, who also was one of the victims of Bernard Madoff.The writer is 25 years younger than Liliane Bettencourt and could be her son. Ceres is the symbol of motherly love and heirloom  (see the post about Ceres).
Ceres of the writer (27Ar11) is exactly opposition the Sun of Liliane Bettencourt (27Libra11).

Chart of Steve Jobs and the Apple (I-phone) press conference

Today is the press conference of Apple, following the critism about the Apple I-phone 4. Here you see the chart of the conference. The Midheaven is semi square the natal Uranus of Steve Jobs, CEO and co-founder. Uranus is the symbol of nerves and news. But there is more...Transit Saturn is inconjunct his natal Mars and progressed Mercury. This is a combination for a bad news acitvity, mind breaking jobs and headaches*).. Next transit will be Saturn inconjunct his progressed Sun. It means hard times for Jobs. Three times inconjunct Saturn is a lot.

JÉROME KERVIEL AND NICK LEESON:Same issue, same birth charts?

Jerome Kerviel is on trial now. Both have important Saturns and Jupiter-Neptune had a key role in the events. Both speculated with millions (of others) and damaged the bank.

HOW ABOUT YOU?
If your Saturn is important, for example because Saturn is:
- on Zero Aries or in hard aspect with Zero Aries
- rising before your Sun
- not making major aspects (conjunctions, sextiles, trines, squares or oppositions) within 5 degrees and in sign
- angular (on MC, IC, Ascendant or Descendant)
Then you are probably someone who is ambitious or trying to do what his parents wanted you to. With an important Saturn you choose classical studies and decent jobs, for example, or you choose to do your job as a clerk, with the elderly or with a long way to go to the top. Saturn is the symbol of construction works, business and administrations.

Jupiter-Neptune is the combination of fans, followers and all those with a believing audience. Jupiter-Neptune is also the combination of speculations and beliefs. Chart and progressions Enzo Ferrari

Today I saw a (romantic) documentary about the life of Enzo Ferrari, born 18 February 1898 (official date 20 February, but that was because it took his father 2 days to announce his birth) It was at 3 a.m. in beautiful Modena, Italy, the place were the Ferrari factory still is. He built the most beautiful car in the world. His chart is showing the successes and the bad moments in his life…

YOUTH
His youth wasn’t a happy one. His parents preferred his elderly brother. This is very typical of Saturn on the Ascendant. It is as if from the very start you had a disadvantage or a handicap. But there is another side of it and that is that he was a very serious and ambitious person and rather reserved himself. The picture in the chart shows him with dark glasses on and they seem to have been on very often. He did not like to show his feelings. There are several indications for hiding feelings: Moon in Capricorn (calling!), Saturn on the Ascendant and Neptune opposition Ascendant. In the documentary they make him say that the fact that he did not show emotions did not mean that he did not have them. But notice the lack of placements in water signs and the cool Moon and you will see that it was at least difficult to deal with emotions…

THE DREAM STARTS
In the documentary he is 10 years old when he sees the first car in his life and starts dreaming. His father got ill and died not very long afterwards. And see how astrology matches with history! At age 10 he had progressed Sun inconjunct Jupiter and progressed Midheaven was trine Neptune. This symbolizes the disproportional self confidence that he had and the dream (Neptune) that easily (trine) influenced his career (Midheaven). The progressed inconjunction also shows us that he won a race by wooden car without engineJ, beating his elderly brother. He won, but (inconjunct Jupiter in the 3rd house...). The 'but' was that this moment intensified the bad relationship that he had with his brother. He also had progressed Moon trine Jupiter in those days and that is the best progressed aspect a person can get. This was the moment that he started dreaming about being a racer in the future.

CONFIDENCE
He always strongly believed that he would be rich and famous one day. Notice that Jupiter (ruler 1) is on the Midheaven trine Pluto on the descendant: Jupiter and Pluto are prominent in this chart! That reflects a lot of confidence and success as a result of that and all this in a prominent way! He was born to be a success. Mercury is opposition Jupiter/Pluto and conjunct Sun/Moon to express that he was great at convincing others (to invest in his dream). Uranus is also related to Sun/Moon and to Ascendant/MC: he was all in all a technician, innovative, an engineer.

DEATH AND SATURN AND PLUTO
Enzo Ferrari did not have placements in water signs and there is a calling Moon (a moon without major aspects) in Capricorn. He had 70% of his placements in air signs. This combination makes him a thinker and a communicator with sentiments at any possible level, but always in control (in Capricorn). In the documentary that lack of showing emotions is explained in the moment of the death of his father, who tells him not to cry. I almost forgot to mention: progressed Sun square Saturn and later square Pluto for the period after the death of his father. This Saturn and Pluto square comes back in times of death. In the First World War (1914-1918) his brother died and he broke his own arm to escape the front lines. Notice that the progressed Mercury is square Saturn and Pluto in 1917. And when his son Dino died in 1956 he had progressed Moon square Saturn and Pluto. Dino was born 29 January 1932 (progressed Sun trine Uranus), when he already had started the long lasting relationship with Lina.
Saturn is opposition Pluto in his chart and both are angular. That is why progressive aspects with Saturn and Pluto mark important painful goodbye’s in his life. Saturn-Pluto conflicts symbolize hard confrontations, intense ambition and the price you pay for that...

FACTS
In 1948 he founded the Formula 1 team of Ferrari (Scuderia Ferrari). That was when his progressed Midheaven changed sign. In 1929 (with progressed Midheaven inconjunct Pluto) he had already founded Scuderia Ferrari but then he worked with Alfa Romeo. Only after the 2nd World War he was allowed to use the name Scuderia Ferrari for his own team.

Enzo Ferrari was more often in the company of his friends and the racing team than with his wife Laura. Later he had a mistress (Lina). The son born out of the relationship with Lina on 22 May 1944 is now 15% owner of Ferrari. His name is Piero Ferrari.

PROMINENCE
Back to Enzo: he had an oriental Mars, Jupiter on the Midheaven, Uranus in aspect with Sun/Moon and ASC/MC, Mercury on Sun/Moon, Neptune and Pluto were on either side of the horizon and just as crucial was Saturn (conjunct Ascendant). The Moon was calling! There is almost no object in this chart that does not have a special place. Only the Sun and Venus and they are 'rushing into Pisces' but still in Aquarius as if reflecting the technical visionary. With so many prominent placements he was bound to be special. With Jupiter and Pluto angular he had enough confidence, too. And there were more then 10 midpoint combinations in the 22.5 degree range to support the statement of success in his chart, for example with Mars square Jupiter/Uranus. That is an excellent combination for an inventor.

DISCRETION: NEPTUNE+PLUTO
I like to mention Neptune in the 7th house and the Neptune/Pluto combination with the Descendant, pointing at the secret relationship with Lina. In those days in Italy divorce was not easy and in the first half of the last century living with a married man was scandalous. The Moon in Capricorn kept him with his wife and Venus in Aquarius and square Uranus (out of sign) provided the adventurous 'free' love with Lina.

HIS DEATH
When he died transit Jupiter was exactly opposition his Uranus (read about this aspect and death) and as Uranus was related to Sun/Moon and ASC/MC, Jupiter was also in aspect with the cross of the chart and the cross point of the lights.

The changes in the chart of Sir Stanford

It is not easy to have transit Pluto square Sun and your life changes the hard way. It is even more difficult when your progressed Sun changed sign. That makes two indications for life in a transformational period. It is perhaps harder when you used to be a success, rich and famous. Can life even get better? Possibly it could not. Sir Robert Allen Stanford has been caught and the charge is fraude, with transit Pluto opposition progressed Uranus and 4 transit inconjunctions with the progressed chart. Notice that transit Pluto is in aspect with Sun and progressed Uranus. The combination of Uranus and Pluto reflects a dramatic change.

In Stanford's natal chart the tightest aspect combination is Sun opposition Mars and square Uranus, the same combination as in the chart of the Japanese minister (see earlier post) who had to step back because of inappropiate behaviour. Stanford also has Mars semi square Pluto. Mars, Uranus and Pluto together often produce impatient and impulsive acts and not seldom are related to arrests and sudden and unexpected other kind of changes in life. Stanford has been arrested. In my post about the effect of the inconjunction (op on this blog Astropost) I wrote that inconjunctions describe a situation with disproportion or without balance and that this situation can be the result or the cause of lost. Michel Tilmant (21 July 1952) has stepped back today. He was the man in charge of the Dutch bank ING. The bank is in trouble, in spite of billions of support coming from the government. This fact AND personal conditions are the reason for leaving.

At the moment Michel Tilmant has 3 transits making inconjunction with the progressed chart:
1. Transit Neptune inconjunct progressed Sun (disproportional negative spotlight)
2. Transit Mars inconjunct progressed Pluto (to have to defend yourself or to use energy in an extraordinary way)je buitensporig moeten inspannen en verdedigen)
3. Transit Venus inconjunct progressed Pluto.
This is a very applying aspect. Venus-Pluto is the combination of financial values and the inconjunction is the aspect of 'no balance'. What is mentioned in the transits is exactly what is going on today, in his life. And that is visible even without hour of birth.

There is also transit Uranus inconjunct natal Pluto, for the dramatic change. Fortunately transit Mars is trine progessed Sun and transit Saturn trine progressed Jupiter, so there is at least some compensation for the 3+-fold indication for lost and 'having to give up'.

When Meg Whitman joined Ebay, the company became a success. Her name was mentioned as a possible vice-president instead of Sarah Palin, but with transit Neptune square her natal Sun there was a big chance of dissapointment. Still, Meg Whitman is a capable person for business and politics as we know. And on her day of birth we see the astrological symbols of her capabilities:

Day of birth of Pierre Omidyar (Ebay): born to be leading in business

The day of birth of Pierre Omidyar, founder of Ebay, was a special day. On that day, the Sun was 'calling' (no major aspects in sign), Pallas was conjunct the Sun and rising before the Sun, Saturn was the classical oriental planet and finally: Venus and Chiron were connected to Aries Point. The closest aspect on that day (apart from the aspects with the Moon) was Jupiter semi square Uranus. This is the day that a peson could be born who is a:

- leading figure, drawing attention at any level (Sun)
- a person who is focussed on patterns (Pallas)
- a business man, hierarchic, serious, perhaps in science (Saturn oriental)
- inventive (Jupiter with Uranus)

THE SILENCE OF BERNANKE WITH TRANSIT NEPTUNE

Where is Bernanke and where is the sound of Greenspan in the middle of the financial crisis in the USA (and the world)? Bernanke 'suffers from' transit Uranus square his natal Sun. So maybe he is in shock, too.
Last April he had transit Pluto semisquare his progressed Sun and Saturn opposition progressed Mercury. It would have been fortunate if he had transits of Jupiter coming up, but in fact it is transit Saturn who will be square his natal Sun soon. Will he step back in a few weeks time? Earlier Greenspan (and not Bernanke) warned for a recession*).

Today Bernanke has transit Neptune sextile Sun. In his natal chart he has Sun sextile Neptune. Discretion and silence are related to Neptune and to the position of Bernanke, who keeps a lot of secrets. Staying at the background and keeping quiet, doing what needs to be done, is perhaps the best thing to do when there is a financial crisis and you are the chief financials of the country's bank. The media (Neptune) seems to be soft for Bernanke now. In a Dutch newspaper they name him an expert on fighting this crisis as he studied the economical recession of the 30's.

Hard aspects always seem to hit harder than the soft ones. So it is in this chart. I read an explanation on Bob Mark's site about Uranus transits. He advices not to decide too soon during a transit of Uranus. We might expect a man in his position to have good advisors and to consider and reconsider before he agrees with the suggested solutions. Let's hope Uranus gives flashing insights and not just nerves.

Bernanke made it to the top of the financial world. Only his HOB could tell us if he might fall down right now. But it is certain that Saturn will be like a heavy load pulling him down, within a few weeks time. Saturn is the planet of business and taking responsibilities. That aspect of Saturn might be showing up shortly. Hard times are coming. And there may be little time to waste with a transit of Saturn.

BIRTH POSITIONS AND CHARTS OF THE AMBANI BROTHERS (RELIANCE)

In 'KPN Today' I found a message about two billionaires in India, brothers, Mukesh and Anil Ambani, owners of Reliance. They seem to fight each other and they should be each others opposites. The relationship has not been improved since father Ambani died in 2002 and Mukesh and Anil had to work together. They split the company in 2005. Up to now their mother has been able to keep things under control. But now Anil wanted to sell stocks. His brother says that he has the first right to buy them. If not, Anil would have become richer than his brother.

The charts erected for the birth days of the men (found in Wikipedia) confirms the picture of Mukesh having a stronger personality. The charming side of Anil is shown in the mutual reception of Moon and Venus (ruling each other, in each other's sign).

It is easy to see the influence of the mother. In both charts the Moon is oriental (rising before the Sun). See below...


MUKESH
Mukesh Ambani is the eldest brother. He is born April 19, 1957 in Yemen. He is the 5th richest man on earth. They say that he is a typical business man.

He has Sun in Aries and Moon in Sagittarius or Capricorn (I guess Capricorn). He is a hard worker with an oriental Moon (rising before the Sun). That places his needs in the first place. On the other hand, this Moon points at the importance of family and in particular the mother!

Mercury and Saturn are calling (I call them calling, since they do not make Ptolemaic aspects in sign or orb 5 degrees) and that refers to communications at any level and at ambition, management and ....business.

The tightest major aspect is Sun trine Pluto. At the very moment transit Pluto is trine his Sun and trine his Pluto. That does give him a better chance of winning the business fight with his brother.

Notice that his Mars is inconjunct the Node and that 50% of his placements are in fire signs. His abundant energy has a sort of mismatch with 'community, family or organizations). This sort of struggle cost him a lot.

Another tight aspect is Venus opposition Neptune and square Uranus. It points at possible artistic aspirations (but only valid in the eyes of the public with Venus and Neptune angular or on top). Funny is, that this combination of Venus-Uranus+Neptune might cause allergy and that I read that brother Anil uses lots of perfume. Also this combination is afflicted by Anil's Mars! It seems that Anil activates a physical or emotional allergy.

ANIL
Mukesh' attractive little brother was born June 4, 1959 in Mumbai (former Bombay). He is not so much different from his brother. He has the same prominent mother (Moon oriental). With 50% of the placements in fixed signs, he must have a strong will. Furthermore with Sun and Uranus, he wants to distinguish himself and be different, independent. So it must have been sour for him to have to do business with his brother. Right now his progressed Sun changes sign and so will his life style change.

RELIANCE AND SYNASTRY
In 2005 the brothers split their business. That was when Anil had progressive Sun conjunct Venus (for pleasure:) and Mukesh had progressive Sun sesquisquare Neptune :(.

Is it just coincidence that Venus and Neptune are 'in the game'?
