Mercury calling Marian Keyes

As always when I spend the spare time during my holidays reading, I consumed 1 book/day and needed to buy more. The 'remedy ' is to buy books in foreign languages, because it takes more time to finish them. In the French town Crest (medieval 51 mneter tower) I was looking for one and myastrologer's eye noticed an appropiate title: The brightest star i th sky by Marian Keyes with lots of pages to turn I very much enjoyed the story. I spent only 12 euro for a week fillled with hours of pleasure, just because of that book. Boy, can she tell a lobg story and keep you interested! I read in the hot sun, in the shadow, when the moon was rising and by the light of a candel. Of course I wanted to know where the author was in her chart, but I couldn't find more than her day of birth. Sometimes the positions on the day of birth are already a big part of the key to what you know of a person. Her Virgo Sun and Gemini Moon are both ruled by Mercury, the writer's planet. And as to be expected: her Mercury is prominent. There are no major aspects with Mercury. That means: Mercury calling! And translated from 'astrological' to English: communications at any possible level. The important Mercury is one of the ingredients of the recipe for a writer. Of course, you need more of those in you chart (with hour of birth) and ... you need to have at least pen and paper, to be educated, to be among those who like your style, to find an editor and to have an audience. Unless you like to write for yourself... Did you read the post about best selling authors, yet? My examples shared Mercury and aspects between the Moon, Jupiter and Pholus, what could also be the case in the chart of Marian Keyes, if she is born after 3 am and before 9 pm. Here is the link: http://astropost.blogspot.com/2011/06/best-seller-writers-charts.html

PS sending posts from an Iphone is not easy:) I resent this post to give the link and alter moticed into noticed...Maybe there are more faults to find, but remember: it is Mercury retrograding and while I write this the Moon is inconjunct Mercury, rather an inappropiate time to send a message anyway:).

Elvis Presley, chart of life and death

On August 16, 1977 Elvis Presley died. It was with transit Saturn inconjunct progressed Ascendant and transit Neptune conjunct natal Ascendant. Progressed Sun - the sun had just recently changed sign!- had been quindecile natal Neptune and conjunct progressed Saturn. There is more (see the post, link below) but you may notice a lot of Saturn and Neptune already. Saturn-Neptune is the combination of illnesses.

Let us talk about Elvis Presley's talent. Quoting myself:
Watch his fan sites...There are even people who do not believe that he died and they keep hoping that they will see him again one day. That is the effect of being an idol. As he is not real (Neptune on top) he stayes alive in everybody's imagination.
The pattern of talent is in the Moon in Pisces and ruler Neptune sesquisquare Venus, with Venus rocking with Uranus (square). Venus-Uranus-Neptune combinations are frequent in the charts of pop singers. How to read this? A hype in popularity? Sense of rhythm and modern art? Does it matter? Because it is so easy to see that this is a popular man! Moon is 'calling', Jupiter rises before the Sun and Neptune is elevated. Moon with Jupiter and Neptune just needs the public and vice versa. The small trine of Jupiter and Neptune with the Sun points at the 'devoted audience'. This small trine is a prominent small trine because of the positions of Jupiter and Neptune. Other indications for fame and money are Venus quintile Jupiter and opposition Pluto with Jupiter 157.5 Venus/Pluto. Here is the chart:

Moon inconjunct Venus

Most women are interested in the chart of the man they adore and some men are more adorable than others are. I have written about that before.

But there is a keen difference between the idol and the person that you eventually marry. Men don't get married to Angelina Jolie-look-a-likes and women don't often find men who look just like Brad Pitt. Apparently we can drink the wine with lots of water!

When we 'adore' or 'worship' our partner, we often don't see them as they are. That is why there are so many 'fallen angels' and divorces. People are people and people aren't perfect. Nobody's perfect, in fact. With that in mind I had a look at the chart of someone who married and divorced two times. Each time she said to 'adore' her lover before the wedding and each time she later said that he was no good.

What I found in the chart:

1. Venus is quintile Uranus (for creating an adventure in love). She sort of created a state of 'being in love', each time.

2. Her Venus is 'calling' so love, sweetness, luxury and pleasure was an issue, at any level. She loved perfumes, silk and small plates of luxurious food. She had Sun and Venus in Libra.

3. Moon ruler 1 opposition Saturn ruler 7th house means that she had the tendency to remember the bad things (in her relationship) most and that there was a potential for divorce.

4. The Moon was also inconjunct Venus.

Moon inconjunct Venus is better for men than it is for women and the inconjunction is creating lack of balance. This Moon inconjunct Venus describes a disproportionate need for love and emotion. The Taurus Moon and Libra Venus are placed in signs of style, love and luxury. This aspect combination is like dwelling in the house of love and luxury, eventually with a loss. She always lost her feelings for the loved one because she couldn't find a balance between wish and experience.

It is a rather sad story, because she didn't live long enough to find a nice and suitable husband. After the divorces she found a lover, when she was abroad. He tried to let her buy him gifts in a tricky manner and than it was over. Later she fell in love with an exotic singer who didn't return the feelings. Later, she started to imagine that men fell in love with her immediately (like the doctor or the captain or just a visitor in a restaurant) and everybody listened politely without  saying that what she saw wasn't reality.

She was born with ruler 1 opposition ruler 7 and that prominent Venus quintile Uranus and inconjunct Moon. The desire to fall in love over and over again - even if she had to put dark pink glased on- resulted in disappointment when the man became her husband. It must have been very hard for her, because she was a Libra with Taurus Moon, in need for company. Her first husband left her for another woman and she (and their daughter) never heard of him again. Her second husband developed a ' gambling' disorder and when she died she ordered that he was not allowed to come to the funeral. The beloved Greek remained an illusion forever.

Moon inconjunct Venus...getting out of balance for the need to be loved.

Mars opposition Pluto, square Uranus: riots

There have been and are still riots in England. They occur during a violent combination of Mars, Uranus and Pluto in tight hard aspect. Uranus is now square the midpoint Mars/Pluto, the midpoint of the use of power and force. Uranus is the symbol of incidents and upheavel. Please use the labels to find examples of the impact of this trio. They join forces in times of revolt and revolution and are frequent on the charts of terroristes. The aspect- or midpoint combination Mars-Uranus-Pluto fuels political controversy and warns for injuries. Isn't it logical that they are in aspect right now? I'll be back on the subject later, because I'm curious how the 4-6 cardinal degrees relate to important British charts and because I can't have a proper look right now. If you do, feel free to comment or to mention someone else's blog about such a link with today's transits. Also visit: Astromarkt.net for exampe the articles about Mars-Uranus.

Saturn in Libra

This year and next year (till October 5, 2012) Saturn is in Libra and that means that for whoever is born with Saturn in Libra it will be hard to decide anything. But also for others, because Saturn is serious company. So: time for tossing and turning, throwing coins, asking oracles and horaries...

SATURN, LIBRA AND 7th HOUSE
With Saturn in Libra  in the 7th house the field of the hard choice is relationships. For someone with Saturn in Libra in the 7th it will not only be very hard to be sure if the partner is the really really one and only Mr. or Mrs. Right. He or she might have to make a difficult choice one day, a go or no go, or a stay or leave. And most often the sense of duty, or parenthood, will keep them in their position. Saturn in Libra will eventually find a balance, but until then it might be hard to weigh it all.

A good exemple of someone who didn’t seem to hurry to officially get married, is Prince Albert of Monaco. He already has children with two women and a fiancĂ©e and he married in 2011, age 58! He has Saturn in the 7th house (but not in Libra). Of course, you have to be cautious who to marry when this woman will be the mother of the next Prince...

In some parts of Europe people use NOT to get married these days, even if there are children. They don’t get married because they feel they don’t need an official license (and they don’t, as there are other ways to make financial commitments). Maybe it is also because of the fact that the church has less and less influence in the last decades of the Age of Pisces. In Denmark 60% of the children are born out of wetlock. Parenthood and marriage has split. Fathers and mothers call each other their ‘ friends’. Two generations ago they called each other ‘ mother’ and ‘father’, sometimes even when the children weren’t around! The roles of the individuals in a relationship changed. They are no longer parents, they are partners. That is what started with the Pluto in Libra generation, at least: that is when the crowd followed the pioneers. Read about it here:

But, when you are the King-to-be, you should get married, even or especially with Saturn in Libra, the symbol of the contract in the marriage, the duties, obligations and responsibilities for a partner and the endurance of relationships, ' in sickness and in health'. That is why it is so hard then to select the right one.

Saturn in Libra
A heavyweight hanging in a balance just asks for contra weight or else ends upside down. Company and partnership is very important for you and sometimes a burden load. You feel obliged to be loyal and like to make contracts to be sure of the other person (and yourself).
