This is a long story about the astrology of the abduction and return of Jaycee Lee Dugard. It is a story about the theme of Saturn-Uranus, the coincidental synastry with Garrido, transits and progressions in times of change and the disadvantage of being pretty. This is a story about the chart with hour of birth, thanks to Donna Cunningham who published the hour of birth as given by the mother of Jaycee Lee (see links below).

SATURN-URANUS

There is a blog about the case of the abduction of Jaycee Lee Dugard here. I wrote that Jaycee Lee Dugard, Natascha Kampusch, Elisabeth Fritzl and Sabine Dardenne all have a chart with an important Saturn-Uranus combination (see links below). Saturn-Uranus is the combination of restricted freedom and blocked independence and the efforts to break free.

Jaycee Lee has the midpoint Sun/Moon (7^th degree of Virgo) semi square Saturn/Uranus midpoint (23^rd of Libra). Also, on the day of birth of Jaycee Lee Dugard the Sun was related to the midpoint Saturn/Uranus (a 157.5 degree minor hard aspect - sesquisquare + half semi square).

The issue of limited freedom is an important theme in the chart of Jaycee Lee. Even more, because Uranus in her natal chart is ‘calling’ (doesn’t make major aspects in sign or orb 5 degree).

CHART OF JAYCEE LEE DUGARD WITH HOB

Thanks to Donna Cunningham we now know the hour of birth of Jaycee Lee Dugard: 10:52 p.m. That is a rather exact time of birth, given by her mother. That is why it is surprising that we don't see exact transits for the day that Jaycee Lee Dugard was kidnapped. Though it was in the year that the Progressed Sun had just been opposition natal Uranus, the aspect was not exact. In fact, that was 6,5 months earlier. Of course, her life changed in a dramatic way on June 10, 1991, when her abductor took hold on her and she was suddenly away from her family, her school, and all that was 'her life' before. Here is her natal chart with transits and progressions for that day.

NATAL CHART

1 MOON, VENUS AND NEPTUNE WITH ASCENDANT

Sometimes being pretty is a disadvantage...Venus opposition Ascendant makes her attractive enough to draw the attention (Sun is calling, too!) of a pedophile.  The Moon on the Ascendant is also attractive. Neptune on the Ascendant is resonating the situation: having to hide (first because of being abducted, now from the media). In a more positive reflection this could be the chart of an artist, someone with style, grace and imagination. very sensitive.

2. URANUS ‘CALLING’, PHOLUS SQUARE ASCENDANT

Uranus doesn't make major aspects with other planets or lights (orb 5 degrees). That makes Uranus and all that is related to Uranus (sudden change, freedom and independence is one of the meanings) a major issue. The second important position is for Pholus (at the bottom of the chart). Now we have two indications for a sudden turning point. Those two important symbols of change were important on June 10, 1991, too.

DAY OF DISAPPEARANCE

Uranus, Pholus, Neptune, Chiron and Moon made aspects on June 10, 1991, soon followed by Venus.

1. URANUS ON JUNE 10, 1991

On the specific day of the abduction Uranus rang 3 (think of the rule of 3!) times:

- Uranus is at 12d46 Capricorn on that day. The MC is at 13d25m41s if 10:52 is the exact correct time. Uranus-Midheaven is an indication for a shocking change in condition.

- Transit Uranus is trine natal Sun enables changes to happen by surprise.

- In the year of the abduction, Progressed Sun was still opposition Uranus (but not tight any more). That means enstrangement (by circumstance or by others) and a hectic period in life.

Also Progressed New Moon is conjunct Uranus and that is valid for a number of years.

SYNASTRY WITH GARIDO:
The importance of Uranus in transits and progressions resonates Change with a capital C. The tragic coincidence was that this important Uranus coincided with the Sun of Phillip Garrido. The progressed Sun of Jaycee was conjunct the progressed Sun of the man who stole her out of her life in 1991*). That is when their lives joined.

In 1991 her progressed Sun was opposition Uranus, reflecting a sudden change caused by others. So Phillip Garrido's Sun was opposition her Uranus, too. He became the living symbol of the contrary (opposition) of what freedom (Uranus) is.

Phillip Garrido who (with the help of his wife) kidnapped her, was born April 5, 1950. He happened to be where Jaycee Lee Dugard was, too. 

2. PHOLUS ON JUNE 10, 1991

Transit Pholus square Progressed AC/MC mirrors a complete transformation of situation and conditions.  Pholus is important in her natal chart (on Aries Point, square Ascendant). That adds weight to the transit. Pholus is the symbol of the turning point in life.

3. NEPTUNE ON JUNE 10, 1991

Transit Neptune was semi square Progressed AC/MC when she disappeared and that seems to be an adequate astrological mirror. Neptune is the symbol of secrets, hiding, all that you can't touch. The effect of the transits was greater because of the angular position of Neptune in the natal chart.

Together, Pholus and Neptune with AC/MC resonate a mysterious turning point.

4. CHIRON ON JUNE 10, 1991

Transit Chiron is inconjunct AC and square progressed MC in the period around the abduction.

Chiron is a symbol of transformation. They say that Chiron is also the symbol of healing. But you have to be wounded first. Ciron is exactly conjunct the Sun in the natal chart and rising just before the sun. An inconjunction is often a symbol of loss.

5. MOON ON JUNE 10, 1991

The progressed Moon was inconjunct Progressed Ascendant, reflecting emotional lack of balance and a nasty event to be remembered. This is the second inconjunction in that period.

6. MARS ON JUNE 10, 1991

There is a minor transit of Mars in a 105d aspect with Uranus, the 'calling' planet in her chart.

VENUS

One of the more surprising aspects is Progressed MC trine Venus (in the months after the abduction). In her nasty situation this could just mean that there was some improvement (compared to the earlier conditions). Any ideas? Just like the trine of transit Uranus this trine doesn’t reflect harmony or peace.

BACK AGAIN: AUGUST 26, 2009

More than 18 years later, Jaycee Lee Dugard, now named Alyssa,  experienced another big change. The father of her two daughters behaved in a suspicious way and drew attention. The complete family was questioned. This eventually led to the discovery that Alyssa was Jaycee Lee Dugard. The transits and progressions of that day are here:

1.   Transit Uranus square Ascendant (abrupt change of situation)

2.   Progressed Midheaven opposition Sun (drawing attention)

3.   Progressed Midheaven opposition Chiron (healing moment?)

4.   Progressed Midheaven inconjunct natal Midheaven (lost of status quo)

NOW

On the day that her abductor was sentenced, transit Jupiter was conjunct the Moon of Jaycee Lee but her Progressed Moon was inconjunct natal and progressed Saturn. The memories of the past come with the right decision of the judge…

*) (Remember that Elisabeth and Joseph Fritzl were born on the same day, so with Sun conjunct Sun?)

Philips and Fritzl: Mars-Pluto

This is a PS on the post about Mackenzie Philips. I forgot to link to the posts about the Fritzl case, another case of sex between a father and his daughter (incest) but much more violent and destructive, though it certainly must have damaged the health of Mackenzie that her father provided her with drugs since she was 11 years old. Mars-Pluto has the potential to be dangerous. (Remember, that is the case of the father who closed his daughter into the cellar of his house and started a family with her. She didn't see sunlight for decades!) I quote from the post about the Fritzl case:

" MARS-PLUTO for USE AND ABUSE OF VIOLENCE AND POWER
On that day (=day of birth of Josef Fritzl) the Sun is in the 19th degree of Aries, opposition Mars and square Pluto. If not used in sports or enterprise, these aspects might point at fanatic agression. The combination of Sun with Mars and Pluto might lead to use and abuse of power. In this case, it did!
And the victim (Elisabeth) also had a Mars-Pluto combination in her chart (Sun conjunct Mars and inconjunct Pluto) with Mars biquintile Pluto."

So just like in the Philips' case, father and daughter shared an aspect between Mars and Pluto.

What Phillip Garrido and Josef Fritzl share...

Phililip Garrido (the man who kidnapped Jaycee) and Josef Fritzl didn't only capture and hide a girl, they also fathered her children. That makes them different then, for example, Marc Dutroux. There are two important aspects that Fritzl and Garrido share:

1. How to realise a dream?
The aspect between Sun and Neptune enables a person to either be a dreamer and dream his life away or to realise dreams. The Sun-Neptune aspect also creates frauds, if necessary.

Phillip Garrido and Josef Fritzl both have an aspect between Sun and Neptune. Garrido has Sun opposition Neptune. Josef Fritzl has Sun biquintile Neptune. In an earlier post about Sun-Neptune aspects I wrote this:

It is easy to believe and it is easy to pretend with a Sun-Neptune aspect in your chart. You could be very naïve or a con man, but in a way your way of living has something ‘double’.

Phillip Garrido and Josef Fritzl pretended to be good neighbours and nice persons. They created a place to hide their true lives and were in fact actors in their own movie. That is very much Sun-Neptune...They also convinced themselves that they were good persons. Fritzl wanted to 'protect his daughter'. Garrido thinks that he is the messenger of angels. They lived in a world of fantasy and fraud and are now (hopefully forever) hidden behind the walls of their prison cells.

With Sun-Neptune aspects you can be or appear to be who ever you like. Actors and idols and dreamers often have Sun-Neptune aspects. These aspects CAN be used for the benefit of others. And sometimes the given ability to pretend can be abused.

2. Intense desire(to have and to hold)
Another aspect that Fritzl and Garrido share is: Venus-Pluto. Fritzl has a sextile, Garrido has a square. I have written about Venus-Pluto (the beauty and the beast) on Astromarkt before. Here I want to add that Pluto always intensifies and when Venus is being intensified feelings and desires are, too. Both men have intense desires and strongly focus on what they want to have. As Venus describes the relationships with women and Pluto symbolises the ability to impress, to have authority or money, it is understandable that the issue of money and values is important. Earning money, impressing ladies with what you have...Fritzl had money and he had the complete authority over women in his households.
There is nothing wrong with strong desires and earning money or the desire to impress others with your belongings as long as nobody gets hurt like the victims of these two elderly men were. These men are criminals and what they wanted was unwanted.

The two aspects don't explain their behaviour, but they contribute to the complete picture. A criminal is not a criminal because of one aspect or placement. What they also share is an Aries Sun. But of course, those who are born under Aries don't share anything with them. Both men have the Moon in capital signs, but it may be coincidence. They are - luckily! - exceptional products of genes, gender, circumstances, experiences, situations and a rare combination of aspects in their natal charts. In our world what they want and what they did is strictly forbidden and they knew it. Let us hope that their victims manage to enjoy life as it should be.

Charts and post of the Fritzl case

Time to collect the charts about the Fritzl case. Although there is a sentence, the difficulties are not over yet and neither is the interest in the case.
Transit Saturn returns to be inconjunct the natal Suns of Elisabeth and Josef Fritzl in the summer of 2009. The same aspect (transit Saturn inconjunct Sun) occured during the beginning of the trial against Josef Fritzl. Perhaps the next transit will mark an 'ending' or an end.

- Josef Fritzl has Mars opposition Pluto and square Saturn. So, father and daughter share the issue of deadly violence.

It may be a perfect aspect in a fast sport. In this post I look at the chart of the woman who did not know that her husband had a second family in the basement. The couple doesn't match, but they share certain aspects (of life...). Both have a desire to be a success and the theme of deadly violence is also an important thing that they share.
Rosemarie Fritzl has Sun inconjunct Saturn. And that leads me the final post in this list.

FRITZL TRIAL starts with Saturn's inconjunction
When the Fritzl Trial started Saturn was in the 18th degree of Virgo. Saturn is the oriental planet in the charts of Elisabeth and Josef Fritzl. It means that Saturn's aspects are important. As they were born April 8 and 9, their Suns are in about the 18/19th degree of Aries. So the trial was with transit Saturn inconjunct their natal Suns. Mother Rosemarie has Sun inconjunct Saturn in her natal chart.

In July-August 2009 there will be another transit of Saturn inconjunct the natal Suns of Elisabeth and Josef Fritzl. It is a difficult aspect reflecting loss and depression. But it also offers the opportunity to 'let go'.

Famous couple: Josef and Rosemarie Fritzl

On Sternwelten (17 november 2008)I finally found the birth day of Rosemarie Fritzl, the wife of Josef Fritzl and the mother of Elisabeth Fritzl: September 23, 1939. I have always wondered about the contents of her chart. Now that I have a date of birth, this enables me to have a look at the match between her and her husband. My conclusion: there is no match but yes, they shared a life and astrological aspects. They shared a desire for earning money (Venus-Jupiter-Pluto) and they shared deadly danger (Mars-Saturn-Pluto).

Here are the charts of the days of birth (for noon) of Rosemarie, Elisabeth and Josef Fritzl.
ROSEMARIE
I choose not to try to read the chart of Rosemarie Fritzl, without knowing her hour of birth. But, allow me to quote Cafe Astrology about Sun inconjunct Saturn: 'It is easy for you to take on responsibilities that aren't yours while ignoring ones that are.' I think this perfectly reflects the upbringing of the children of her daughter and not having protected her daughter against her abusive husband (and she knew that he was convicted for rape).

Rosemarie educated 10 children: 7 of her own, 3 of her daughter. In 1992 the first foster child was dropped on her doorstep and that was with progressed Sun opposition Uranus: someone else suddenly changed her life. In an interview in 2009 she referred to her sad financial position since the arrest of her husband. She had to give up on 7 houses and a lot of money. Venus-Pluto is the financial axis. Transit Pluto was conjunct progressed Venus when her daughter stepped out of her prison. Progressed Venus is getting closer and closer to Pluto now.

BTW Mars square Saturn is one of the aspects that indicate possible divorce in the chart of females.

Their Suns don't match (his in Aries, hers in Virgo)

Nothing matches. But...

WHAT THEY SHARE...
They share (a combination of) aspects. Josef and Rosemarie share Venus opposition Jupiter: they love to travel, marriage is 'for better'. Both have Venus in aspect with Jupiter and Pluto for earning a lot of money. They were rather wealthy together, having 7 houses.

But most of all: they share 'hard measures'.

SHARING HARD MEASURES
The chart of Fritzl is obviously that of an abusive person or should I say: a person who has the potential to be abusive. Mars, Saturn and Pluto form the combination of severe and hard measures, unnatural death and danger of death. This combination is in the charts of Josef, Rosemarie and Elisabeth.

- Josef Fritlz’ Sun in Aries is opposition Mars and Mars square Pluto. Saturn is opposition the midpoint Mars/Pluto.
- Elisabeth has Mars biquintile Pluto and semi sextile Saturn. Pluto is 157.5 degrees from Mars/Saturn.
- Rosemarie has Mars opposition Pluto and square Saturn. Mars is sesquisquare Saturn/Pluto.

The Mars-Saturn-Pluto connection reflects the fact that they all had part in the dangerous use and abuse of violence, as a victim or as an abuser. And the Mars and Pluto of Josef (use of violence) are the planets connecting their charts!
- Josef's Pluto is square Elisabeth's Mars. His Saturn is semi square her Mars.
- Josef’s Mars is quindecile Rosemarie's Saturn and quintile her Pluto.

ELISABETH
Elisabeth's life changed in a positive way in 2008 and so did her chart. Her progressed Sun changed sign and progressed Venus joined her natal Sun to reflect that. But these days transit Saturn is inconjunct HER Sun since her father's trial and conjunct her Uranus. This is the combination of restricted freedom (Saturn-Uranus-Sun). She is still in a proces of transformation. Her progressed Sun is moving into Gemini, to another lifestyle and another way of living, but not stable yet.

*)They married in 1955/1956, when her progressed Sun was conjunct his natal Mars. In her natal chart there is a trine between Sun and Mars. When she and her husband were seperated, her progressed Sun was conjunct Mars. (I mention this just to show the cycle of life...)

The Fritzl Trial starts with Saturn's inconjunction

Elizabeth and Josef Fritzl are born on 8 and 9 April. The Transit of Saturn in the 18th degree of Virgo is inconjunct the Sun of father and daughter today, now that he faces the law and now that she returned to the clinic (with her children), probably in order to avoid the publications around the trial.
Saturn's transits are never easy, but in the charts of Elizabeth Fritzl Saturn has a special position as the first outer rising planet before the Sun. Saturn symbolizes among other things: duty, limitiations, restrictions and ...the parents and parenthood.

Chart of Josef Fritzl, the man of cellars and attics

Josef Fritzl is in the news again these days. An Austrian newspaper says that the psychological report reveals that Fritzl held his abusive mother on the attic for over 20 years, without daylight, until she died, out of revenge. Before, he was arrested for keeping his daughter and their children locked up in the basement. And nobody noticed...His chart has the same structure as the chart of O.J. Simpson has: harmonious major aspects, difficult minor ones. Just like the attic and the cellar were conceiled for the public eye, so were his crimes.
Fritzl lived in a large house. That was one of the conditions that allowed him to act as he did. Only a combination of character, situations, conditions and genes, mixed with an obedient and impressed family living in a play conducted by Fritzl himself could have produced this affair. Even without HOB the potential blue print is visible in the chart. But there were others born that day#), and they have a different life story. Apart from the fact, that an hour of birth completes the picture, there are other components for his life story.

In the wrong hands, in the wrong place and in the wrong time, this chart has the potential for family abuse, indeed. All of those wrong conditions were available in the life of Fritzl. There was abuse in his family, he lived in a place where nobody asked question and maybe these days the authorities would have been more alert. His intimidated family didn't stop him. Neither did the authorities. Maybe the lesson is that an abuser should be controlled always (also mothers hurting children), that creative talents should be allowed to grow and that no person should be allowed to have the power that Josef Fritzl had at home.

CHART OF THE DAY OF BIRTH

Now about the blueprint, the chart...
The chart shows us that Fritzl had a strong need for family life (Moon in Cancer***) and that he had an obsessive sexual 'overdrive' (Mars quindecile Uranus). He knew how to use and abuse power (Mars/Pluto with Sun) and his status and security (Saturn oriental) were important to him. Being a creative liar (Moon-Mercury, Neptune calling) and a successful (Jupiter trine Pluto) 'die hard' (Saturn-Pluto-Aries Point), it was not hard for him to create a theater play. Back stage it as a different story.

SATURN-PLUTO
The publication of the psychological report happens with transit Saturn inconjunct Fritzl’s natal Sun and Pluto opposition his progressed Sun. With Saturn-Pluto**) combinations sometimes the disadvantages of inquiries and research become an issue and it is a moment of testing your self esteem.

In the meantime, his name is synonymous to abuse and horror. Zero Aries is connected to the midpoint of the die hard (Saturn/Pluto is semisquare Zero Aries), the double life/suspect (Sun/Neptune is square Zero Aries), and the extreme male (Mars/Uranus 112.5 d Aries Point).

ABUSE: MARS-PLUTO
I have written about Fritzl before (see link below). In the earlier post about the Fritzl case I pointed at the tight midpoint combination of Sun sesquisquare Mars-Pluto (Sun is in the middle of an oppositon with Mars and a square with Pluto), for use and abuse of physical power. And how his daughter has Sun conjunct Mars and inconjunct Pluto (unbalanced self esteem). The fact that she has Mars biquintile Pluto offers the opportunity to revenge herself.*) Maybe in the family of Fritzl this combination of planets goes from one generation to another and shows a hormonal effect in the genes.

THE FAÇADE: SUN-NEPTUNE
It is hard to believe, looking out of my window, seeing the sun and blue sky, that any person could be held without anyone knowing about it. He could held his mother, because there were no brothers, sisters or other family members asking questions. His wife seems to haven been deaf, blind and dumb and his children too. How can that be? He locked his daughter in the cellar in 1984. He kept his mother in the dark between 1959 and 1989. Did Rosemarie or Elisabeth ever notice the presence of an old woman in the house? And what did he do with the body when his mother died? He had told the world that she died in 1959...
It is a strange story. But not unbelievable. It reminds me of the recent conviction of a mother in an Eastern Europe country. She used to watch her sons suffer on the monitor in her pretty citchen, cooking the food that they would not get. Her neighbour (who had not suspected such a thing) catched the picture on HIS monitor and that is how the world found out about it. It takes a lot of acting capabilities and being a good liar to keep this façade up. And he had those capabilites. Fritzl has Moon square Mercury and a prominent calling Neptune biquintile Sun (for telling what they want to hear and for creativity). So should we believe what he says?

THE MINOR ASPECTS for THE PERSON BEHIND
Even though he was not perfect, most of the people who knew Josef Fritzl believed in the picture of him that you see on the photo.
I have noticed before that the major aspects seem to correspond with the major idea of ‘the others’ about a person. And that the minor aspects tell us more about the person behind the person (the chart behind the chart, see the post about O.J. Simpson).It is the same with the chart of Fritzl. The tightest major aspect (the Ptolemaic aspect) is Venus opposition Jupiter. It is an opposition between the planets of fun and joy and offers a way to be popular or successful as an artist, for example, or with money. Josef Fritzl loved (Venus) to travel (Jupiter) and from the fact that he had friends who joined them in Thailand on holidays, we may believe that there were persons who liked the man.

Now look at the tight minor aspects.
1. Neptune tightly sesquisquare Northern Node; negative frustrating relationships
2. Venus 75 degrees away from Saturn; obsessively sticking to the disadvantages of marriage
3. Mars is quindecile Uranus (165 degrees) for obsessive sexual overdrive.
4. Two creative biquintiles: Venus-Mars and Sun-Neptune, creative in passion, able to realise his dreams by creative fantasy.
He has an indications for more than one marriage or a divorce (Mars-Uranus( but with Venus-Saturn, he never divorced. He started another family life keeping the first one intact. Circumstances allowed that his extreme sexual practices could take place without anyone noticing this. His neighbours didn't know, his family didn't suspect this...Would any astrologer have know, even if they had his HOB? I wonder. Most of the most challenging aspects CAN be used to be creative. Unless your genes (!), circumstances and situation (for example the situation at home as a child) forbid it. It is the combination, the mix, that does it, like a recipe with ingredients, that cannot do without a mixer, an oven and a cook.


#)There were others born on his day of birth, for example:
1. actor (Neptune calling!) Avery Schreiber who died in 2002 and suffered from diabetes (Venus-Jupiter). He had a heart attack in 1994 and had surgery (Mars-Uranus quindecile) but never recovered.
2. Alies Sallinnen, a Finnish composer (Neptune calling!) who's last work of art was created in 1999.
3. The prominence of both Saturn (oriental) and Neptune (calling) makes us think of an illness and of being 'sick'. Or is it lack (Saturn) of empathy (Neptune)? One of the persons born on April 9, 1935 was a museum manager and I think that person creatively used his Astro I.D. to manage (Saturn) arts (Neptune). Cellars and attics, aren't they symbolized by Neptune (the planet of hiding away?). Neptune is 'calling' in the chart of Fritzl. He used his fantasy and creativity the wrong way. It could have been different.

BTW (a besides): JAIL BIRDS AND HARMONIOUS ASPECTS
One of the most interesting things about the chart of Josef Fritzl is, that there are no tight squares. It seems that there are more inmates without squares in their charts than those with hard aspects. That might be, because soft aspects seek for the easy way out. In the life of Fritzl, who was aware of his sexual disorder, using and abusing his child and mother may have looked like such an easy way out.

Mars and Pluto; Saturn and Uranus...
The two combinations together appear in the charts of Elisabeth Fritzl and Natascha Kampusch. It means that the themes of limited freedom and use/abuse of violence could be important issues in their lives.

JOSEF FRITZL, the man who abused and incarcelated his daughter in Austria, was born 9th April 1935. I look at his chart, at her chart and at the interactions, progressions and transits to see if there is any astrological clue. I don't have the hours of birth. Still I think the positions on the days of birth explain a lot, even more when you add the circumstances (the available cellar, for example).

MARS-PLUTO for USE AND ABUSE OF VIOLENCE AND POWER
On that day the Sun is in the 19th degree of Aries, opposition Mars and square Pluto. If not used in sports or enterprise, these aspects might point at fanatic agression. The combination of Sun with Mars and Pluto might lead to use and abuse of power. In this case, it did! And the victim also had a Mars-Pluto combination in her chart (Sun conjunct Mars and inconjunct Pluto) with Mars biquintile Pluto.

AND WHAT ELSE HE NEEDED ....
He could do what he did because:
- there is a biquintile between Sun and Neptune for a creative fantasy. Sometimes this means: a creative (biquintile) secret (Neptune) life (Sun)
- Neptune is calling (not making major aspects in sign) in his chart for a fantasy at any possible level...
- Mercury is prominent conjunct Zero Aries and square Moon. That is good for not telling people what you really feel and a struggle between need and mind.
- Venus opposition Jupiter and sextile Pluto. It is a succesful combination in arts and skills...and with women. You cannot imagine, but possibly (and the media say his neighbours confirm it) with this combination you are dearly loved...

The prominence of both Mercury and Neptune mixes communications with lies and fantasies.

CHANGING SIGN = ANOTHER LIFESTYLE
Whitout an hour of birth there is not much more to add to this, except...that his progressed Sun is in the final degree of Gemini, about to change sign (or maybe already changed). The changing progressed sunsign tells us about a changing lifestyle. In progression there is a conjunction of Sun and Mercury. Transits right now show an arrest (Pluto-Uranus trine) and a relief (Jupiter-Uranus tirne) at the same time.

The abuse of Elisabeth started at age 11. At that time his progressed Sun was changing sign to Gemini and sesquisquare Mars. As the Sun, Mars and Pluto are connected in his birht chart, this was the moment the abuse (Mars-Pluto) started. The progressed Sun lighted the fire...

On 24th August 1984, when he locked his daugher in his cellar, transit Mars was sesquisquare his Sun and Pluto opposition Uranus (the arrest aspect). The progressed Sun square Saturn, Saturn opposition progressed Saturn...
It is evident that in that year his life (in his eyes!) became harder and his responsibilities and guilt (Saturn) were highlighted (Sun).

Elisabeth Fritzl had a life until she was 11. Then her progressed sunsign slightly changed. Her father started abusing her. We see Mars (recently changed sign!) sesquisquare Pluto in her progressed chart. In her birth chart Mars is biquintile Pluto. So the progressed Mars activated the natal construction.

GUESS CHART ELISABETH FRITZL
Of course her date of birth (April 8, 1966) cannot show us the hell she lived in. There must have been some crucial placements in her chart for the specific moment that she was born. In combination with the circumstances (a very strong and potent Mars-Pluto father with technical skills, a cellar available and a mother who did not ask too many questions...) these lead to an unbelievable life.

I believe that she has Moon conjunct Neptune near the MC in Scorpio, because that would bring Vulcanus and Northern Node conjunct the IC for domestic (IC) family related (NNode) violence (Vulcanus) and the isolation (Neptune) of a woman (Maan). It would also explain the number of children, because Jupiter would be in the fifth. And Uranus conjunct Pluto, the closest aspect!, in the eight house of life and death, sex and power. Uranus-Pluto is the aspect for rapid changes and revolutions (like f.ex. in case of arrests).

MARS-PLUTO ACTIVATED AT 11
With or without hour of birth, Elisabeth Fritzl also has a Mars-Pluto connection for use and abuse of violence in her chart as her father has. That is not strange, in fact it is common in the charts of victims and criminals. Read my article about Mars-Pluto!. She has Sun conjunct Mars and inconjunct Pluto. But she also has Sun inconjunct Uranus. Mars-Uranus-Pluto is the combination for action on impulse, for resistance (Uranus) against violation (Mars-Pluto) in some cases. Her father started abusing her at age 11. We see Mars (that recently had changed sign!) sesquisquare Pluto in her progressed chart, activating the Mars biquintile Pluto in her birth chart.

SATURN-URANUS FOR LIMITED FREEDOM
Elisabeth has Sun inconjunct Uranus and conjunct Mars, with Venus in a 165 degree quindecile with Uranus. There is also a semi sextile between Mars and Saturn. It means that she has all of the four indications for not getting married or for divorce in her birth chart. Independance (Uranus) and being on your own (Mars) might be important for her. And it is THAT aspect of life that was taken away from her. This construction in her chart also explains why her mother believed that she had suddenly left. I guess she sort of revolted at the time.

Saturn and Uranus: theme of limiting freedom...This combination is connected by Mars. Mars is semi sextile Saturn and biquintile Uranus. On the 8th April 1966 there were combinations for the possiblity of danger (Mars-Saturn-Pluto) and matters of limited freedom (Mars-Saturn-Uranus) as a blueprint in the chart. And later circumstances, transits and progressions added their influences to create this faith.

SYNERGY
But what else is the connection between the charts of father and daughter (with or without HOB)?

...Attraction...
His Venus is opposition her Moon and Neptune. He is attracted to her. His Jupiter is conjunct her Neptune: she may have believed him., he benefits from her weaknesses. His Pluto is trine her Saturn, for endurance? Her Moon is conjunct his Jupiter and that is strange, because it says that he supported her and cared for her (and in a way he did). Their Suns are conjunct as they are born almost on the same day. In this case their lifes were closely bound together. Also notice NNode trine NNode (being related).

When the abuse started in 1977, her Mars had progressed to conjunct his Uranus. In his chart Mars is quindecile Uranus (165 degrees). In her chart Mars is biquintile Uranus (144 degrees). As it happens...

NATASCHA KAMPUSCH CASE
There was a similar case in Austria in 2005. It happened to Natascha Kampusch when she was only 10. She was born at 6:45 a.m. in Austria on 17th February 1988 with a prominent Mercury. She is about to have her own talk show. In her chart Saturn and Uranus are connected to Zero Aries. They do not make any major aspect in sign. That shows how important the theme of limited freedom was and still is, in her life. Saturn and Uranus dispose of 60% of her planets, as most are in Aquarius or Capricorn. There are 13 midpoint combinations with Mars and Pluto, connection the limited freedom to use and abuse of violence.

On the day of her abduction (2nd March 1998) transit Pluto was square progressed Sun. That certainly transformed her life! As he has many clues in her chart for intelligence, charm and patience she managed to survice. On the day of her escape, 23 August 2005, transit Sun was trine Saturn and Uranus! A trine is good for an easy way out.

Her abductor, Wolfgang Priklopil, was born 14th May 1962 in Hainburg a.d. Donau. With Moon in Virgo and Venus in Gemini he prefers women young. There is a quindecile aspect between Saturn and Uranus (obsessed with limited freedom). When he committed suicide transit Pluto was inconjunct Sun, Uranus conjunct progressed Jupiter and Venus conjunct Venus. There is a quindecile aspect between Saturn and Uranus. When he kidnapped Natascha transit Uranus was conjunct his Saturn.
