Golden oldies - 2 - about women and luv

Love posts about luv? Here are some of the golden oldies that I collected for you. The first 2 aren't that old. They are written in 2011.

1. Catherine the Great had a lot of lovers.

The two inconjunctions between planets related to sex and love life point at lack of balance (hormones, perhaps). Together with the prominent placements of the planets of love and sex (Mars, Moon and Venus) in aspect with Pluto (apex of the Yod) in the eight house of sex, life and death we get the picture...
Just like Henry VIII abused his power, Catherine did. She didn't marry her lovers, she 'only' used her officers. And perhaps she killed one husband, but she was very generous to her former lovers. One of those lovers was 40 years her junior. You see her chart and his natal positions (the transit positions) here:

http://astropost.blogspot.nl/2011/02/love-life-of-catherine-great.html

2. Coco Chanel had a German lover. That wasn't OK in the Second World War, in France...But they had Venus quindecile Venus in synastry: an obsessive love!
http://astropost.blogspot.nl/2011/08/coco-chanel-in-love-and-war.html

3. Maria Callas loved Onassis, but he preferred Jacqueline Bouvier. She didn't get over it.
http://astropost.blogspot.nl/2009/02/astrology-of-maria-callas-and.html
My Conclusion: they were made to not get together (for long).

4. Queen Victoria and Prince Albert had a lot of children together.
There are a lot of challenging aspects between them and there is little compensation in synastry. His Juno trine her Moon and Midheaven is nice, though. We can see the importance of marriage in her chart: Juno is exactly square the Ascendant

They share aspects and that helps! For example: both have Venus trine Uranus. That means that they shared a sort of an excitement about each other, a repeating sensation of falling in love. They also shared Venus trine Neptune: romantic feelings. And Mars-Jupiter (overproduction?:): she has Mars sextile Jupiter, he has Mars sesquisquare Jupiter.

The chart of Albert and Victoria are a perfect example of not matching signs and the effect of sharing aspects.

5. Brad Pitt loved Angelina Jolie and Jennifer Aniston. How do their charts get along?
http://astropost.blogspot.nl/2008/10/link-between-angelina-jolie-jennifer.html

6. A life without luv with a happy virgin in the end...
http://astropost.blogspot.nl/2008/10/happy-virgin-with-venus-in-virgo-clara.html
She had Venus in Virgo...:)

From Grace Kelly to Princess Gracia

Just read that Nicole Kidman**) will be Grace Kelly in a movie about a political hot period (1961/1962) in Princess Gracia of Monaco’s life. Interesting to see that Nicole has Ascendant Scorpio, just like Grace Kelly had! That must make it easier to ‘act’ as the late Princess. You think that the Ascendant Scorpio 'shows'? Interesting besides: Nicole's progressed Sun is now exactly on the Midheaven of the natal chart of Grace Kelly. Her life is now 'connected' to Grace Kelly's.

I have written about the death of Grace Kelly *) before, but now I wanted to have another look at the chart. I wanted to see what progressions and transits and what in the natal chart lead to becoming Princess Gracia. There is an important role for the setting (women's roles, high society) and Neptune colors it. That is why I like this picture of her, dreamy and old fashioned romantic and ...classy:).

FIRST: BIRTH CHART
Every chart reading starts with the natal chart. This natal chart tells us about a talented and somewhat eccentric strong and mysterious personality with ambition. Convincing an audience (Mercury, Jupiter, Neptune) is important. She can communicate, convince and fake or believe at any possible level. She is also compliant (water signs) and not the kind of person to risk to be disinherited (Saturn). Why? Because of the chart positions.

Her birth chart in 4 steps:

1.Lots of water sign placements: they signal a tendency to go with the flow and be sensitive. Also lots of trines. Trines and sextiles make it easy to choose the easy way (out), the most desirable social way.
Relate this to the influence of the parents and to the historic background (women were supposed to get married in the first place), the importance of catholicism for her parents and you will see that she must have been educated with the idea that marrying a catholic was most important.

2.Three ‘calling’ planets: they give an impression of the vocation. Mercury, Neptune and Jupiter don’t make tight major aspects in sign. They are ‘calling’. Mercury/Jupiter/Neptune could have made her a convincing 'story teller'.

Jupiter-Neptune is the combination of speculations, an audience, fans and followers, beliefs and success as an actor. The midpoint Jupiter/Neptune is semisquare Juno (symbol of the wedded wife). Neptune is most important because Neptune rises before the sun.

Mercury is conjunct Chiron, but doesn’t make major aspects in sign with a light or planet. A ‘calling’ Mercury tells us about the importance of communications at any possible level. The combination of the prominent

3. Scorpio/Pisces and Neptune/Pluto colour the chart. Sun in Scorpio and Moon in Pisces with Scorpio Ascendant will not be very open and clear. Mystery and secret will go hand in hand. That is also because Midheaven is conjunct the midpoint Neptune/Pluto and they are the rulers of Sun and Moon. MC=Neptune/Pluto mirrors the excentric or idiocyncratic personality (see this explanation: http://www.ptypes.com/idiosyncratic.html ). Sun in Scorpio trine Pluto is the tightest aspect in this chart. Notice that Neptune and Pluto are elevated.
It is hard to overlook the grand trine of Sun, Moon and Pluto (easy transformation through intense family life or challenging marriage) and spotlights on influence, politics, money, power and sexuality. It is the trine of a strong personality.

Grace Kelly had Sun and Moon trine Pluto. Her life, lifestyle and domestic environment changed completely when she married the Prince of Monaco. That is the transformational effect of Pluto. The trine made it easier to get used to (Moon) the changes (Pluto). Quoting myself about Sun/Moon/Pluto combinations:
Motivated by values, policies or strategies if not force. The need to be strong and powerful or rich.

4. Moon in Pisces biquintile Venus in Libra and Venus in Libra sextile Neptune out of sign; Neptune is ‘calling’! – no tight major aspects in sign... That is astrological for talent! There is no direct connection to Midheaven however, and Grace Kelly ended more famous because of her marriage than because of her acting. found the pattern of artistic talent.

5. Ac/MC is square Saturn in 2nd house and that tells us that ambition is important. (‘Conservatism is comfortable’ says Noel Tyl about this combination). Saturn is in the 2nd house of earning money. That is where her center of gravity is. Seen as the 5th of the 10th house, the 2nd house is the house of showing off your status and Saturn doesn’t really show off, unless there at the saturnalia. Saturn in the 2nd house tells us about the importance of consistency of the verb ‘to have’.

CAREER MOVES
Talent and ambition drove her to New York at young age. She left the house of her wealthy parents to become a model and an actress in 1947. That was with Transit Saturn and Pluto on her Midheaven, Progressed Sun trine Uranus and transit Jupiter on her Sun.
In 1951 she had a tiny role in her first movie with progressed Midheaven conjunct Neptune en progressed Sun conjunct Mars and …inconjunct Chiron in the seventh house.
In 1953 she became more known. That is after transit Jupiter opposition Sun and with Progressed Sun opposition Jupiter and square Quaoar (a bright new world).

MEN
At that time, in 1953, she was engaged to mr. Cassini, who was born April 11, 1913. Her parents didn’t approve of marrying a non-catholic, so this affair ended. His Sun was square her Sun/Moon (he was sort of made for her!), but there suns were inconjunct (and that is easily creating lack of balance and a loss).

There are also rumors about an affair with Bing Crosby in 1955.

That makes you think why she was so fond of elderly men with a status. Venus sextile Saturn joins pleasure and business, so maybe that is it, combined with AC/MC square Saturn in the 2nd house. Perhaps also Juno in the second house is mirroring ‘marrying money’? But she could of course have married a young heir or a successful young actor instead. In fact she did what is supposed to be traditional for women who seek a solid basis for their children: they marry a man who is older.

MARRIAGE AND CAREER
When you are ambitious and romantic at the same time, what is more fancy and romantic than becoming a princess? Three days after meeting him, she sayd yes to the Prince of Monaco. His Venus conjunct her Chiron in 7 may have healed the wounds caused by former relationships.
She married with transit Saturn conjunct progressed Venus. Transits and progression repeating a natal aspect combination are stronger than other transits and progressions are. This one was a confirmation of the mix of business, convention and love that Venus and Saturn is.

When Rainier asked her to marry him her progressed Sun was moving towards an opposition with Ceres (symbol of motherhood and dynasties). It was time to become a mother. Her daughter was born 9 months after marriage. She didn’t immediately give up on her career. That was later.

In 1956 she made her last movie. In 1958 Albert of Monaco was born. A few months later they were in the Ed Sullivan show and in summer she and her husband traveled in Belgium (expo) and The Netherlands (Veere). They apparently loved to travel together and that is in line with the fact that both have an aspect between Venus and Jupiter in the natal chart.

TRANSIT NEPTUNE CONJUNCT ASCENDANT, TRANSIT PHOLUS on IC
A turning point and idealism on the horizon

In 1958/1959 Neptune on the Ascendant and Pholus opposition MC reveal that there was a turning point in her life. Her husband wanted her to give up acting and she also accomplished her major ‘task’ as his wife: she gave birth to an heir. From that moment on she focused on philantropy. She was named President of the Monaco Red Cross. It is interesting that Neptune is the symbol of voluntary jobs and idealism (and of the movies!). The Ascendant is the symbol of the name of a person. In 1958 a hospital was given the name of Princess Grace.

MARRIAGE AND SOCIAL POSITION
Venus-Jupiter is the symbol of the party and the 'good marriage'. Grace Kelly's chart has Venus sesquisquare Jupiter. The midpoint Venus/Jupiter is semi square Uranus. That is maybe why she married 'well' so quickly. There is also a semi square between Juno (symbol of wedded wife) and Jupiter/Neptune. Should I read this as a fairy tale marriage? But perhaps it is better to look at Midheaven and see the sextile with Jupiter and trine with Uranus for a combination that says: sudden windfall and improvement of position. But there must be more, not? In her solar return chart for her birthday in 1955 Jupiter was conjunct Pluto and sextile natal Venus. Maybe that helped. And not to mention the Leo Midheaven. Leo is a royal sign after all:).

More about the wedding day and match on Astrology&Love…

*) PS in short about the day of the accident, caused by a stroke: Transit Saturn was square her Sun/Moon midpoint, Progressed Mars conjunct Saturn separating and Progressed Mars and Saturn were semi square natal Sun.  Mars-Saturn blocks energy, Saturn is for endings.

PPS Unlike the Sun-Saturn wives of European heirs to the throne Grace Kelly doesn't have a Sun-Saturn aspect. Or does she? There is novile between Sun and Saturn within a 1.5 degree orb.

Jacqueline Bouvier, chart of a widow

Following my tweet about Jacky Kennedy's chart and the publication of interviews with the former First Lady, here is the Astro.com A-rated chart with transits and progressions for today and a story about the widow in her chart.

CHART
Above is the chart with transits and progressions for now. Resonating the Neptune-MC conjunction in the natal chart, right now transit Neptune is opposition her Midheaven. That is a strong moment for revealing secrets and increased media activity. Transit Neptune is also inconjunct her progressed Venus with progressed Venus inconjunct natal IC and progressed IC inconjunct Saturn.

I included Juno (close to her Ascendant, like in the charts of Prince Albert and George Clooney). In a female's chart Juno's angularity might point at the importance of 'being someone's wife'.

JUNO AND 7th HOUSE
Maybe it is because of Juno on the Ascendant that we know Jacqueline Kennedy mostly because of her marriages:  the first with John F. Kennedy and later with Aristoteles Onassis (see post about him and Maria Callas. The importance of marriage is also visible in the seventh house, with Jupiter (an important signal for both 'the international' and 'more than one or once'...), Ceres (symbol of motherhood and dynasties) and Orcus, the symbol of broken promises.

TWO MARRIAGES AND NO DIVORCE
Jacqueline Kennedy married twice. We see Venus in Gemini, opposition Saturn. It is a contradictio in terminis.

Venus, symbol of love, is in a double bodied sign (and that says: more than once, see that post...).

Saturn, however, tends to stick to a love like a stamp to a letter.

With Venus-Saturn there are responsibilities, mortgages, children and parents to consider when love has ended and it will be hard to separate. Material things are important in a Venus-Saturn marriage.
Also, Pluto rising before her natal Sun tells us about the importance of power, influence, politics, values and the persons that you know. She had a relationship when she met JFK, with a man who didn't make enough money in her mother's eyes. It was on her mother's advice, they say, that she stopped seeing her fiancĂ©. Venus-Saturn*): men with such an aspect are (more than women) untrue in such a dead marriage (or should I say: a love commitment with duties and obligations).

Jackie Kennedy had a husband who cheated on her and her second husband also wasn't true. But in the interviews she mentions the faults and mistakes of M.L. King and General De Gaulle and L.B. Johnson...Maybe it was too soon after the death of her husband to even slightly mention it (he was an idol!). Did she really not know about her husband's sexual adventures? There are a number of astrological reasons why she would never mention them.

1.  Venus-Saturn will do anything to keep up appearances in marriage.
2.  Neptune on Midheaven might help her to see the world from an idealistic or romantic point of view.
3. And all those trines and sextiles tend to prefer the easy way out instead of nasty processes as a divorce.
4. Even more important is the Northern Node opposition Ascendant and Juno. That strongly connects her situation and relationships to the family and the larger community. Her relationships and marriages were important for more persons that just herself...
5. Circumstances, gender, situation, culture
She was rather conservative and the sixties hadn't roared, yet, when she was married with JFK. Ladies were supposed not to see their husbands' mistresses and prostitutes at the time.

There are numbers of reasons why women don't divorce their unfaithful husbands. In her natal chart we don't see the usual 3 ' suspects' (indications for divorce): afflictions of Sun-Mars, Sun-Uranus and Venus-Uranus, either.

TWO TIMES A WIDOW
It must have been painful, just as watching her husband's violent dead. Perhaps that is the meaning of Chiron conjunct the Descendant...She became a widow twice.

BTW I just 'discovered' that the symbol of the turning point (and change), Pholus, is quindecile (165d, symbol of obsession and focus) the Sun/Moon midpoint of marriage and square Aries Point. Does that mean a strong focus on family life and the risk of the experience of important turning points in that family life?

DEATHS OF HUSBANDS
On November 22, 1963 transit Saturn was almost exactly square her natal Ascendant/Descendant. That is when her first husband died, a few months after her two day old son died. It was a hard year for her.

Here are the charts of both important moments (death of JFK and death of Onassis).

Men and Mars in women's charts

Last week four women were mentioned in the papers: Coco Chanel, a mayor, a model and a politician. Alle four were news because of the relationship with a man. Chanel because of her love for a German officer in war time, the mayor beause of sexual escapades on a Spanish tower, the model because of being in trouble after being the guest of the son of Khadaffi (Ghadaffi) and for being accused for being involved in him raping her friend. The politician was involved in a grant for a lover for a project in Afghanistan. Men! Their symbol is the symbol for Mars. And of course, Mars is very important in the charts of the ladies.
The mayor has Mars and Venus ‘calling’ (for passion at any level and I won’t joke about the tower).
The model was born on a day with a tight Yod between Mars (apex) inconjunct Neptune and Pluto.
The politician had a temporary importance of Mars (though, of course, she could have an angular Mars, which I don’t know). Her Progressed Sun is between opposition natal Mars and progressed Mars. She also has Pholus opposition progressed Sun and Progressed Sun in minor aspect (105d) with natal Pholus. If you want to know more about Pholus, check yesterday's post...
Last but not least: Coco Chanel’s Mars is angular, on the Descendant. That is a prominent place for Mars. See it here:

Chart, progressions and transits of Betty Ford

Betty Ford died. She was the wife of Gerald Ford, who died in 2006. She died with Progressed Midheaven conjunct Mars, ruler 8th house of life and death and with transit Neptune quindecile (165d) that same Mars. There is also a Jupiter inconjunct Ascendant from the 8th house in her progressed chart. Betty Ford died at age 93. I think that Jupiter/Uranus opposition her Sun was one of the combinations in her chart that contributed to the length of her life.

THE WIFE OF...
Her natal chart shows the importance of the marriage partner, family life and ' the party': Juno is conjunct her Sun and the Moon is important, too (angular and the first large object rising before the Sun). With her Ascendant in Virgo and knowing about her Juno and Moon, you would expect her to humbly serve the family and husband, but...there is Sun inconjunct Ascendant.

Betty Ford is a good example of someone with the Sun without major aspects, a ' calling'  Sun. With such a sun in your chart you are likely to draw attention, somehow, anyhow. She married a President to be...and became the First Lady. Her Sun and Juno are in tight aspect with Midheaven (it was her job to be the 'wife of...'). In that job she had more impact on the American society than her husband had. She also fought for women's rights (see Mars - symbol of the activist - on the Ascendant opposition Moon). And later, when her husband lost the elections, she took over. BTW, it was her second marriage (ruler 1 Mercury is square ruler 7 Neptune and Juno - conjunct Sun- is inconjunct Mars).

Continue for the story of her life related to progressions and transits.

Best seller writers' charts

How to be a best seller writer like for example J.K. Rowling, now in the news with Pottermore? It takes more than the chart (the right time and place and editor, for example), but what chart is the best? You are to late to change your time and place of birth but you are still in time to see if at least your chart has the same qualities as the three million selling authors Agatha Christie, Barbara Cartland and J.K. Rowling. Today it is Mercury trine Neptune and that is good for story telling (mixing facts and fantasy or communicating fiction). Those who were born today won't have problems with inventing tales. Here is a story about 3 writers and what their charts tell us.

REQUIRED...
Lots of people want to be a famous writer and trillions of concepts and scripts are never to be published or sold. Apparently it takes more than the ability to write to become a million selling writer like JK Rowling! Unlike singers you need not to be beautiful. But you need fantasy, sense of 'what people want to read', the right publisher (who takes time to read your book), a great idea, originality, education (...) and writing skills and if you have all that: LUCK. That is why you need a good Jupiter (for luck), Mercury (for writing), Venus (for style), Neptune (for fantasy)... You also need to be patient, waiting for the right moment to launch your script. It is rather complicated...The qualities (communicating skills, style and more) can be used in many other professions, too. So Neptune, the planet of fiction, must be very important in the charts of people with such an overwhelming fantasy.

WRITERS' CHARTS
Charts of writers are not alike at all. They are as different as their books and the examples on this blog were not born in the same generation. But maybe there are some things that those famous writers have in common...even if they write about different things. I found this:

- a prominent Mercury (for example 'calling' = no aspects within orb 5 degrees or within sign; for example conjunct Sun/Moon or both)
- pattern of professional artistic talent (aspects between Moon, Venus, Neptune, the signs Taurus, Libra, Cancer and Pisces, with direct or indirect connection to Midheaven
- keys to success (aspect-and midpoint combinations with Jupiter, prominence of Jupiter) and possibly important: Moon with Pholus and Jupiter
Neptune, of course
- ...and a surprise: Moon with Jupiter and Pholus

Of course I have examples.

1. AGATHA CHRISTIE was born on September 15, 1890 in Torquay at 4:30 a.m. At that moment Saturn (ruler 5th house) was rising, Neptune and Pluto were elevated and Mercury didn't make any aspect at all. She wrote (Mercury!!!) about solving mysteries (Neptune/Pluto). But let's stick to the pattern of the million selling writer:

- Mercury is calling (and biquintile Midheaven)
- Full pattern of artistic talent (Neptune conjunct MC, trine Moon in Libra and inconjunct Venus)
- Moon tightly trine Jupiter and opposition Pholus

Neptune is elevated in her chart (conjunct Midheaven).

2. BARBARA CARTLAND
Another million seller of quite a different kind of books (romance) is Barbara Cartland.

- Mercury is also calling in her chart! Sun/Moon is semi square Mercury (motivated to write, at any possible level.
- Neptune is sextile Moon and semi quintile Venus (but I don't see the direct connection with MC....though there is Venus/Neptune(romance) is in hard aspect with AC/MC (the crosspoint of time and place) and Jupiter conjunct Midheaven is in in aspect with Moon, Venus and Neptune)
- Moon 112.5 d Jupiter (=square+ half semi square) and square Pholus

Neptune rises before Barbara Carland’s sun…

3. JK ROWLING
An Astro ID tells us about the most prominent and interesting placements and positions. In the chart of JK Rowling they are for Merucy, Venus, Sun (all three 'calling') and Jupiter (the planet rising before the Sun). You see:

- Mercury calling! Mercury doesn't make any aspect in sign or orb 5 degrees: communications at any possible level (Venus NA (the conjunction with Uranus is >5d): style at any possible level and Sun is 'calling', too...:drawing attention at any possible level)

- There is also Neptune biquintile Jupiter and quintile Venus with Venus 75d Jupiter,  indication for possible success in art or love

- Jupiter rises before the Sun and is semi square Sun, pointing at positivism, the international, being convincing and self confidence.

- Moon square Jupiter and inconjunct Pholus
The time of birth of JKR is unknown, but it would be great if she was born at 10:55 a.m. with Sun/Moon conjunct Mercury, Moon with Jupiter/Uranus and Jupiter/Pluto, A/M with Neptune and the Midheaven in Cancer sextile Venus, sesquisquare Neptune and in minor aspect with the Moon.

Earlier JKR revealed that she had a period of depression and I contributed that to Moon opposition Saturn and conjunct Pluto.(see that blog: http://astropost.blogspot.com/2008/03/jk-rowling-survived-depression.html)

Lately, JK Rowling started a new site with Progressed Sun about to square Jupiter. Whatever she will do, it may be great...In the natal chart there is also a Sun-Jupiter combination, so this progression is resonating the natal aspect and having greater 'effect'. It will increase her confidence.

If she was born at 10:55 am Neptune would be of crucial importance (square AC/MC) and the ‘force’ that motivates her (Sun/Moon/Neptune combination: http://astropost.blogspot.com/2011/05/sunmoonneptune-midpoint-combinations.html)

4. Three examples is not enough for statistics. For some more writers (like Celine, Stephen King, Jorge Luis Borges, Vaclav Havel (playwright):

Elizabeth Taylor died

With progressed Sun sesquisquare Midheaven, and transit Chiron sextile progressed Mars, transit Pluto oppostiion progressed Venus and transit Pholus trine natal Venus Elizabeth Taylor died, age 79.
She very much loved Michael Jackson.

A year before his death, in August of 2008, she was taken to hospital with rather dramatic transits and progressions, but medical treatment provided her with another 19 months... Quote:

- transit Saturn square Ascendant
- transit Saturn opposition Sun and Mercury
- transit Neptune square her progressed Sun
- tranti Neptune square progressive Midheaven
- transit Saturn opposition progressed Ascendant
- transit Uranus squares the progressed Midheaven
- and...in her progressed chart Neptune is in the 6th house and close to the Descendant

http://astropost.blogspot.com/2008/08/astrology-chart-of-liz-taylor-who-is-in.html

Liz Taylor is a myth. And she was mysterious (Sun Pisces and Moon Scorpio). Moon in Scorpio is frequent in the charts of women 'who made it'. And Liz made it! She had a very important Neptune in her chart (elevated, square Ascendant) to illustrate the life of movies, imagination, romance and more. Sun opposition Neptune tells us that she was an idol.
The effect of the aspect between Sun and Neptune in the natal chart, in progression or transit Neptune in aspect with Sun relates your life and lifestyle to uncontrolable and invisible issues like the media, fantasy, ideals and dreams or gossip, nightmares, deceit, desillusions and all that is fake. Even you might not be the real you...
Actors are living our fantasies.

Sophia Loren, born September 20

On September 15 I published about the Venus-Saturn-Pluto combinations in the charts of beautiful women. This combination might refer to the pain and efforts to be a 'die hard'  beauty. Today I had a look at the chart of Sophia Loren.

Her ' cool'  Venus in Virgo is in minor aspect with Saturn (quatronovile, 160d) and Pluto (semi square). And that is in line with the other beauties...

Charts of beautiful women and Venus-Saturn-Pluto

Attractive modern entertainers and actors, (those males who know and use their appearances), often have the hot planet Venus in a cool sign like Virgo or Capricorn. And they have Saturn in aspect with Venus or the Ascendant. We admire them from a distance. Males with closer contacts with women have more placements in Taurus and Libra. But how about women? I compared the charts of eight women who are considered to be one of the most beautiful women in the world. And I found Venus-Saturn (just like in the charts of men) and Venus-Pluto, together, in 7 of them. But there are exceptions (there always are...): Catherine Deneuve. However... She has Venus 'calling' in the eight house (the house of Pluto) trine the Capricorn Ascendant.

In the post about Britney I mention the professional femme fatale (Venus-Saturn-Pluto: the 'die hard' in cases of love and beauty) in her chart. Maybe that is a way to see Venus-Saturn-Pluto. There is an expression in my country:
If you want to be beautiful, you must suffer
Just depilate and scrub and you will see how true that is... And how about the challenge (Pluto) of aging (Saturn), a serious problem for the beauty and the charm...?
Suffer for beauty, charm, estetics or vanity....maybe that is exactly what Venus-Saturn-Pluto is about. (However, see this link to an article with movie about the experiment that proves that kindness improves the looks,... of apples...:).

Chart and life of Evita Peron

One of the most interesting lives of women is the life of Evita Peron. Her natal chart for May 7, 1919 at 5h15 LMT Los Toldos is perfect for this woman with sense of drama, glamour and persistence. She was an idol and her life revolved around politics, sex, power and influence. Like in the case of Princess Diana her death and funeral became a public drama. What in het chart shows this? And how do the progressions (and transits) correspond with her life?

The most remarkable things in her chart (considering what we know about Evita Perron) are:
1. Neptune is ‘ calling’ and angular (close to the IC). This makes us think of romance, an idol, mystery, scandal, charity and art…all this at any possible level. We know that Evita Peron wAs an idol. But there is another side on Neptune on IC and that is for a negative background.
2. Fixed signs are important in her chart. 50% of the positions are in fixed signs, reflecting will power.
3. Leo Moon for the need to show off and for the drama queen. The Moon conjunct Saturn is reflecting the way she remembered her childhood (cold and hard).
4. Sun/Moon semi square Pluto shows us that she was motivated by power and influence.
5. Sun square Saturn (wide aspect, but the Sun and Saturn are both in aspect with the Moon).
Her father never acknowledge his daughter and died when she was only 7 (and the square had grown tighter in progression). Like a lot of other persons with Sun-Saturn she managed to be in charge... (click for more examples).
6. Mars semi square Aries Point en conjunct Sun reveals an assertive woman, the importance of men (and soldiers) and her enterprise. She would marry an important man and the army would block her attempt to become the vice-president.
7. Venus (final dispositor of Midheaven) is biquintile Midheaven for a creative way to improve her status (with the help of beauty, talent and charm)
8. Pholus sesquisquare Ascendant might reflect how her situation changed. The midpoint AC/MC is square Pholus in this B-rated chart (source Astrodatabank) and seems to be correct because she definitely altered her state of being (from poor peasant girl to First Lady). Pholus is in her 8th house of life and death, revealing the importance of her death for who she would be in the end (she became ‘ immortal’).

When she was born she didn't exactly have the kind of chart that promissed a glorious life. The tightest angular placement is for Vesta on IC: she was dedicated to her goals!

PROGRESSIONS
9. She left her home town for Buenos Aires at age 15(!). That was a right decision at the perfect time. The progressions of that year are: P Sun trine MC, P MC square Sun, P Moon trine Venus, sesquisquare Jupiter and trine Pluto – successful combination for an artist – and P Venus conjunct Jupiter. It is an abundancy of nice and shiny aspects, completed by transit Pholus trine progressed Ascendant (the small start of a new presentation). Also, her progressed Sun had changed sign and that is an indication for a change in lifestyle. The first aspect in the new sign was a quintile with progressed Juno. The next period of 30 years of her life started with the symbol of the married woman in a creative aspect with her sun. In the progressed chart Mercury (ruler of the progressed 5th house of entertainment, the other gender, and show) was on the Ascendant. There was one little nasty thing: P Moon opposition P Saturn, reflecting hard or bad feelings, feeling alone.

10. When she met Juan Peron she had P MC trine Venus (ruler of the seventh house), an appropiate aspect for finding a partner. Shortly after meeting him, the progressed Moon was conjunct Jupiter and that is a fortunate aspect. Her progressed Sun was opposition Pholus, reflecting a turning point in life achieved by others, when Juan Peron was elected President and she became First Lady.

11. Her Pluto was inconjunct the Northern Node and afflicting her Moon. As soon as she could she took revenge on the middle class people who looked down on her when she was younger and less important. She abused her position of power to get this revenge.

12. There were only 6 years of glory. In November of 1951 (with progressed Mars quintile Saturn) she was told that she had advanced cervical cancer. She was creative enough (quintile) to use iron (Mars) constructions (Saturn) to keep herself up right until the end.

13. She passed away on July 26 1952 at 20h23. There are several indications in the solar return chart. I won't name all of them (who would like to know?). 1. Pholus crossed over the Midheaven and Pholus is in the natal 8th house of life and death + pointing at a turning point in her condition. Since she was already seriously ill, this was a bad sign. 2. Also P MC was sextile Orcus (the symbol of the underworld). 3. Transit Saturn sesquisquare Progressed Ascendant and afflicting progressed Sun/Moon. 4. Transit Jupiter -ruler of the progressed 8th house- is semi square natal Sun/Moon.

MATCH WITH JUAN
Evita had several indications for a possible divorce and I wonder if she would have divorce Juan Peron if she had not died so young. Her Sun is conjunct Mars and 75 d Uranus with Mars in a wider square with Saturn. Those are 3 of the 4 possible indications. Juan Peron (born October 8, 1895) also had Sun conjunct Mars. As soon as the common enemy would be beaten they would start competing. Their Suns are inconjunct and her Mars is inconjunct his. His Chiron is inconjunct her natal Sun. Three inconjunctions bind them. It is a sort of a statement of ‘ lost’ and loosing each other. Nevertheless the popularity of Evita Peron was important for her husband. In his chart Venus is on top, inconjunct Neptune. The planets who are most prominent in the chart of Evita are angular in his chart. Perhaps they shared the same romantic ideal and what is more romantic than a sad love story? Here you see her chart. The positions of the transits are for the day of birth of Juan Peron.

PPS The 28th degree of Aries: ' Large disappointed audience' says this site about sabian symbols...It is the Ascendant degree of Evita Peron, if this is indeed the correct HOB.

Astrology chart Catherine Millet

Catherine Millet is the author of a 'dirty book' called 'The sexual life of Catherine M.' I thought it was just a fantasy, but the elegant writer of books about art seems to have a real 'free marriage' with author Jacques Henric. And now she has written a book about jealousy. That is because her husband prefers a 20 year old now...This is her chart for April 1, 1948 15h15 Bois Colombes (France).
What does it say?

1. There is a strong astrological pattern of artistic talent in her chart (Taurus Midheaven, Venus in Taurus elevated and 'calling' sesquisquare Neptune and Neptune square the oriental Moon; Venus and Neptune are in aspect with Sun/Moon)
In 2001 when her book 'The sexual life of..' appeared, she had Venus still on top and square Neptune in her progressed chart. The combination of Venus and Neptune is the combination of art. In 2001 she also had progressed Moon conjunct Jupiter, an indication for success.

2. There is a question mark about life and fantasy or 'double life' (Sun in the 8th house of sex in opposition with Neptune): is it really true that she had herself 'gangbanged'? Read about the effect of Sun-Neptune combinations (and the question: am I who they say that I am or ...)...

3. We see a personality with strong and intense disproportionate need for pleasure (prominent Moon in 5 inconjunct Pluto, tightly)

FREE MARRIAGE
Why did she marry if she and her husband didn't want to commit themselves?

1. Her Sun ruler 1 (ego) is quintile Uranus ruler 7 (partner)
This means: a creative way (quintile) to be (Sun) free (Uranus) in a relationship (1-7)

2. Mars is conjunct Saturn; that is because she had a long lasting relationship before this one.

3. She has Venus on top of her chart in Taurus; she wants to HAVE a lover. And perhaps that explains her jealousy now*).

Is she an artist with strong fantasies about sex or did she write an autobiography? With Sun in aspect with Neptune and Pluto, that might remain a mystery to us all. She has made an art of sexual desires, or it is the other way around. MC opposition Jupiter/Neptune is a guarantee for a lot of devoted readers. So the answer to the above question is that she is a successful author. Jupiter (ruler 5) is on cusp 5, trine her Ascendant. This aspect is very fortunate for creative expression. Had I already mentioned that Jupiter is 'calling', just like Venus. Venus and Jupiter are both drawing attention in this chart and the combination promisses (again) success in the field of entertainment. And lots of love...:)

*) In French the book is called 'Jour de souffrance', in Dutch 'Jaloezie' (Jealousy)

Astrology chart of Christina or Cristina Deutekom

Here you see the chart of Christina Deutekom, Dutch soprano. Watch the pattern of artistic talent in her chart and see how Mercury (disposing of the Midheaven)points at communications (using voice or pen). Of course there is more in the chart of Christina Deutekom that leads the astrologer to the idea of talent. Neptune, for example, is square Sun/Moon. That means that she is in heart and soul an artist.
