Conrad Murray, Saturn and Michael Jackson

Conrad Murray is the last (doctor) who saw Michael Jackson alive. He is perhaps in big trouble. He might have been responsible or might be held or feel responsible for the death of MJ. There is a big question mark about his guilt or responsibility in this now that the potential lethal Propofol was found in the second authopsy, as well as traces of injections.

In 'Astrological' question marks are oppositions; guilt or responsibility is symbolised by Saturn (Roman God of time). Medications (and drugs) are related to Neptune.
Now watch how Saturn is involved in this. Dr. Murray has a difficult progression with Saturn. His progressed Sun and the progressed Sun of Michael Jackson reached the point of the doctor's Saturn in this year. Is that coincidence? Or does it mean that there was a starring role for Michael Jackson in the bad times for Dr. Murray? And there is more about Saturn...

On Murray's day of birth the Sun did not make major aspects in sign. That makes the Sun very important. It draws attention, too.
Saturn was rising before his Sun. That is reflecting a serious man, a person with ambitions. Saturn is prominent in his chart.

When he became MJ's doctor in 2006, the progressed Sun of Murray was opposition progressed Neptune and later the progressed Sun was opposition progressed Saturn.

In the progressed chart of Murray Saturn is conjunct Neptune in 2009.

On the moment of MJ's pronounced death the Ascendant was conjunct Murray's natal Neptune. The Midheaven of that tragic moment was at 26d Cancer; square the midpoint of Saturn and Neptune in the natal chart of Dr. Murray. Every day there are moments when the actual Midheaven is in hard aspect your Saturn/Neptune midpoint. In the given situation and circumstance Midheaven square Saturn/Neptune was a very tragic deceptional aspect mirroring how Dr. Murray must have felt when he heard the news.

In this year, the progressed Sun of Murray is opposition natal Saturn, highlighting his bad sides and the disadvantages of life in general. It is a depressing aspect.

His natal Saturn is conjunct the progressed Sun of Michael Jackson and his progressed Sun is opposition MJ"s Sun. (In other words: the progressed opposition of Sun and Saturn in the chart of the doctor is related to the progressed Sun of Michael Jackson. This relates his depression and bad times to the vitality (or not) of MJ. Perhaps he is and maybe he feels responsible for the death of MJ.)

Murray and Michael Jackson apparently met at the wrong moment and Murray made a bad decision in 2006. Saturn and Neptune don't promise a rose garden. They often reflect hard and difficult times.

Conrad Murray's day of birth is February 19, 1953 (in Grenada). That is the same day of birth as Cristina Fernández de Kirchner, Presidente of Argentina, who faces hard times because of the crisis and other hard circumstances and just lost the majority in parliament today!

Individuals are created by the mix of circumstances, conditions, gender and genes and...the people that they meet...An hour of birth would give insight in the crucial positions of the chart, but still...Astrology is no tool for a judge. Astrology is an instrument for considerations only.

Pluto, Mary J. Blige and Michael Jackson

Recently I saw ‘This is it’ and I was deeply impressed by the show and by the interaction between the energetic and professional Michael Jackson and all the people involved (excellent musicians, dancers, perfect organization).
I don’t know if they cut the nasty pieces, but Michael Jackson was always polite, kind and grateful to the always worshipping group of people that worked with him. He showed an admirable control over his behaviour and over the show as he wanted it, without being arrogant or nasty. On the contrary! (And what a drive, what energy!) Michael Jackson was great AND real nice.

What a difference with the way that Mary J. Blige, a great singer with a heartbreaking voice, treated her own band! See the Daily Mail… After they started playing she made them stop and asked when they were going to play the real Mary J. Blige music.

Mary J. Blige now has progressed Sun inconjunct Pluto, right after a square with Jupiter and recently transit Jupiter was conjunct the progressed Sun. Perhaps that is a little too much success and stress. Progressed Sun inconjunct Pluto is reflecting a period of lack of balance in self esteem. Maybe that is it. Or it is more easy to be polite and kind when people need nOt to be convinced that you are a person who deserves the very best? Or when you have been trained to control yourself in public so much, that you are just not capable to explode anymore? Michael Jackson had Sun square Pluto from the start and he controlled it by means of medication.

Rabindranath Tagore and Michael Jackson

The Indian online newspaper NDTV mentions that Michael Jackson was reading Tagore in his final days . This is the link to the message. Here below you see the chart of Tagore and the positions of Michael Jackson's day of birth. Notice that Michael Jackson's Venus is conjunct the Jupiter of Tagore. This is an aspect that promisses pleasure and joy. Also Michael Jackson's progressed Uranus was square the Venus and Jupiter of Tagore's natal chart.

BIRTH CHART MICHAEL JACKSON

Michael Jackson has released a new version of 'The girl is mine'. He is planning shows in London, too. You might call it a come back. So let us see if Pluto (the come back dwarf) is present in his chart.

HOB FOR MICHAEL JACKSON
There are severable probable HOB's (birth times) for Michael Jackson, but I think the one Astrothème offers (10 a.m.) could be the right one. In that case the progressed MC is near conjunct the prominent progressed Pluto and that is a sign for a come back.

MY FAVORITE HOB
On the other hand there is a version of his HOB being 23h55. That would fit too. In that case the prominent Solar Arc Pluto is about to trine his natal MC. I have always preferred that one, the 23h55, because it has Moon in Pisces on top and because he is famous for his Moon-walk (Pisces for feet). But it needs correction, too. I found out that an HOB of 23h50 with an MC of 20d40m Aquarius (Ascendant between 16 and 17 Gemini) gives a progressed MC about 10 Pisces for the day that he was cleared of all charges (14th June 2005). On that day he must have felt relief and that shows! That Progressed MC was inconjunct Jupiter and conjunct Uranus (the 'Thank God' combination:).

MOONWALK
And the Moon in 17d04m Pisces is on top and square the Ascendant in the natal chart. That is a crucial position for the Moon in the sign of the feet (Moon-walk!). Chiron is right on top of the MC and Ceres on the lowest spot of the chart. Chiron and Ceres might refer to the extraordinairy position of this man.

PLUTO ORIENTAL, MOON ON TOP, CRUCIAL SATURN, URANUS RELATED TO ARIES POINT
The most prominent parts of his chart (Pluto, Moon, Saturn and Uranus) tell a story of problemous behaviour, severe education and rebellion.

Pluto rises before his Sun. That is symbolic for a focus on money, sex, influence, power and (in some cases) politics. It is also a planet of transformations. Venus in his chart is conjunct Uranus, a sign for pop artist and singers. And (in the astrological vocabulary) Venus-Uranus is symbolic for beauty-surgery, too.

If he was born at 23h55 the Moon on top is exactly (!) inconjunct Venus. That adds estetic senses (with a discrepancy included) and places the need for privacy (Pisces) and the family matters (Moon) above all in his life. Moon is ruler 1 in this chart and ruler 1 in 10 is also telling: he performs in public. He also uses clips and video's...not material performances...Pisces again!

NEPTUNE IN THE FIFTH
What is also an issue in his life is that he was suspected of child abuse. Look at Neptune in his fifth, sesqui square the Moon on top...It is one of the aspects the Dutch famous astrologer Ram mentioned as unfortunate for relationships with females in the chart of a man. There are more of such indications in the chart of MJ: Moon square Saturn is another one and Mars square Uranus (within orb because Venus is translating the light). With these aspects it is likely that he won't marry at all or have one or more divorces.

LOVE OF MUSIC AND MOVIES
Neptune in the fifth tells us that there is a lot of romance, secrecy and 'gossip' involved in his love affairs and it also reveals that music and fotografy or movies (Neptune!) are part of the show (V). Neptune rules the tenth equal house. Apart from the Moon inconjunct Venus, Neptune is making the tightest aspect, with Pluto. It is a supposed to be generational aspect, but this one is connected with the Ascendant and with the Moon. Moon is also related to Pluto by a quindecile of 165 degrees. A connection of Moon with Neptune and Pluto often implies paranormal sensitivity or...high sensitivity. And it is known that MJ suffers from allergies. But Neptune/Pluto combinations also involve mass media (the immaterial influence).

SURGERY
How about his changing appearance and 'beauty' surgery? Look at Venus conjunct Uranus. The midpoint is sesquisquare Zero Aries and semi square the Ascendant. It means that he is known for beauty operations and/or singing. Venus semi square Mars/Uranus means 'surgery on a female' but Venus is not just 'female' but also 'beauty and estetics'.

There are a lot of indications for successes as an artist. First of all Venus is quintile Jupiter for a creative way to be fortunate in love or as an artist. Secondly we see VEnus semis square Sun/Jupiter and Jupiter/Pluto.The closest midpoint combination made by Venus is a semi square with Neptune/Pluto.

SIBLINGS
The Jacksons were a group of brothers and sisters sort of being forced by the father to perform on stage.Sun conjunct Pluto in the 3rd house, the afflicted Moon on top and the crucial position of Mercury (siblings) on the IC (background) refer to that.

CLEARED
Michael Jackson is a controversial person (Uranus rules the MC and is sesquisquare Zero Aries). People love him or disload him. In 1993 (with the Midheaven changing sign) and in 2003 there were serious accusations about young boys but in 2005 he was cleared of all charges. That was on the 14th of June 2005 (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/music/4604027.stm). On that day there was a very telling match with the birth chart for 23h55.

RISE AND FALL
In this 23h50m chart we see the crucial Saturn square MC in a hard aspect with the most individual midpoint: Ascendant/MC. That explains how he climbed and fell. And maybe Chiron on the MC tells a story about the wounded celebrity. For his carreer line we find Aquarius (techniques, provocations, changes) - Uranus (quindecile 75d Jupiter)- Sun <>Mercury on IC. Communications in a modern way...Gemini on the Ascendant is helpfull for dancing and is also pointing at his eternal youth (the Peter Pan syndrome as well as the outlooks).

COME BACK MOMENT
So now Michael Jackson wants a come back, if only to pay his debts. Solar Arc Pluto trines his natal MC, but transit Neptune is conjunct his MC. Usually Neptune is confusing, weakening and disappointing. But as Neptune is the planet of the artist, maybe it will not be so in this case and the conjunction is offering another starting moment. Besides, this HOB is speculation anyway. So let us look at his solar return chart. Hmm...using 23h50 he has Pluto on the MC and the Moon on the Ascendant: a come back Solar Return chart. If Solar Arcs work, then he will be a succes: SA Jupiter square Moon and trine Venus!

Sun Saturn synastry and the inconjunct

SUN INCONJUNCT SATURN SYNASTRY

Sun inconjunct Saturn is one of the hardest aspects to deal with. It always takes more than just one aspect and charts should always be seen as a whole, related to circumstances, gender, genes and history or culture, but still I find it a difficult aspect.


In the natal chart the Sun inconjunct Saturn is often mirroring a defect, an inability or 'bad luck'.  Use the label inconjunct Saturn to find examples of that.
Transits of Saturn inconjunct Sun and progressions of the Sun inconjunct Saturn sort of makes way to criticism and places you in the position of the 'lame duck'.

A tragic example of Sun inconjunct Saturn between two persons, is the synastry of George Zimmerman and Trayvon Martin.

ZIMMERMAN-MARTIN SYNASTRY
The Sun of George Zimmerman (October 5, 1983: it is his Saturn return now) is inconjunct the natal Saturn of Trayvon Martin (February 5, 1995). George Zimmerman shot Trayvon Martin and ended his life. Not all encounters of Sun-Saturn quincunxes end in such a drama, of course.  If Zimmerman hadn't carried a gun, it hadn't happened at all. The symbol of a gun is Mars.

MARS' ROLE
Mars is the symbol of fire, weapons and injuries.
On February 26, 2012 transit Mars was inconjunct the natal Sun of Trayvon Martin.
On February 26, 2012 the progressed Sun of Trayvon Martin was opposition the natal Mars of George Zimmerman.
It is as if there was a conspiracy of the stars to bring those men close together with a weapon at reach. Even without hours of birth and more transits and progressions to consider, it is obvious that Mars (aggression, weapons, injuries) was an issue between the men at that time and moment.

Dr. Conrad Murray charged

The doctor who was with Michael Jackson in his final hours, will be charged for unvoluntarily murder. Liz Taylor and Michael Jackson

Elisabeth Taylor has transits of Mars and Saturn with (progressed and natal) Midheaven today. She was one of the guest on the funeral of Michael Jackson. Mars-Saturn is the combination of death, of separation (Saturn) from a man (Mars).

She was fond of Michael Jackson. Their Sunsigns didn't match (and of course they didn't have to live together 'as one'), but their Moonsings did and his Moon in Pisces may even have been close to her Sun and Mercury in Pisces.

VENUS and URANUS
Elisabeth Taylor and Michael Jackson both have/had Venus conjunct Uranus, the aspect of the firework in the rollercoaster. That is the aspect for love of adventure and excitement, of feeling for the rhythm and of artistic aspirations. Both have/had the kind of love life that produces news and excites the readers. Paris Jackson's Mars conjunct Saturn

Someone pointed at the post on Astrologie Blogo about the natal chart of Paris Jackson. I wanted to see if there was some indication what happened to her.

MARS+SATURN
First look at the solar return chart with Saturn (symbol of the father, symbol of farewells, too) conjunct Midheaven opposition Mars. That is the same combination (Mars-Saturn) that occurred in the chart of Michael Jackson at the time of his untimely death. See the post about the transits at that time...

Why do the transits and progression and solar return chart have such a strong effect in her life? It is because in her natal chart we also see Mars conjunct Saturn (ruler 10). Again Mars-Saturn, again the reflection of the importance of energies ending and of death in her life. The death of the man who raised and protected her will of course be very influential. Even more, because Paris Jackson has Moon in Cancer (a need to belong).


Another indication for the importance of death in this year is the progressed Jupiter (ruler of the progressed 8th house AND the natal 8th house) exactly opposition transit Saturn (ruler of the 10th house, a parential house) at the moment of her father's death. In other words: transit Saturn conjunct progressed ruler 8th house: death (8) of a parent (Saturn).

MIDHEAVEN CHANGING SIGN
One of the indications of change is the changing sign of the MC in progression. Paris' Midheaven changed sign now that her position in life (and in the family) change into that of an orphan. The first aspect that the Midheaven will make in progression is a conjunction with Neptune, the planet of being lonely, deserted and isolated. There is another effect of the MC conjunct Neptune. That is becoming conscious of the unrevealed spiritual world and the world of music, arts and religion. Neptune is important in her chart and so is mystery, if only about her biological parents. Perhaps that is why she was born with the Sun and Mercury conjunct Ceres, the symbol of the roots and the genes. An important, calling Neptune on top, together with Moon in Cancer sesquisquare Venus and Venus square Sun/Moon tell me that she at least was influenced by her father, the artist. Also Michael Jackson's Uranus was exactly trine the natal Sun of his daughter. He was very special in her life, a source of inspiration.

The charts that tell us 3 times about the situation in this year reveal the theme of death (Mars-Saturn) and the timing (Saturn) of death (Jupiter, ruler 8).

There are more interesting observations regarding her natal chart, such as the quintile between the Sun in the 12th house and the unaspected Neptune on top for a creative way to lead a double life (or to live the discrete way) to the max. It is also, together with the other indications in her chart, the combination for creative talent*) (as an actor perhaps). Who knows...

Progressed Sun conjunct Saturn and another person's Saturn

Today is the first day of the trial of Michael Jackson's doctor. Saturn (responsibility, endings) is of great importance in the chart of Murray and in the interaction between the charts of the doctor and the artist.

I think that this illustrates how the death of MJ effected the life of Conrad Murray. Charts and aspects aren't tools for judges, and they don't point at guilt. Sun-Saturn aspects often have the effect that you are seen as the one responsible for....etc.

Michael Jackson's announcement

Michael Jackson will be on stage 10 times in London, in July 2009 and as he says:"AND THAT IS IT...". Today Mars, Saturn and Pluto are in aspect with his natal Mars, Saturn and Pluto. Mars, Saturn and Pluto are reflecting a forced (not natural) end. I wonder why he said this three times today 'and that is it...". Transit Ceres was conjunct his natal Sun today and that might mean that he was getting back to his roots again. I am afraid his time of birth is unknown. But whatever time that may be, Pluto will be the planet rising before the Sun. And that means that he is first of all a man with a strategy, a policy. And perhaps that money, issues of life and death and values are prominent in his life. Besides, Pluto is the planet of transformation and influence. Michael Jackson's artistic skills are beyond doubt and he transformed his own face together with the look of the clip in pop music.

BIRTH CHART JANET JACKSON: Venus biquintile Neptune for artistic talent

Janet Jackson was awarded Saturday for what she did for equal rights for homosexuals and lesbians, with transit Jupiter trine Mars, a succes combination. Janet, sister of Michael Jackson, was born in Gary, 16th May 1966.

THE DIVORCES
She divorced twiced and once said she doubted if she was suited for marriage. In fact, she is not...
Venus in Aries is one thing (easy come and go of love feelings). Sun conjunct Mars is one of the indications the astrologer Ram found in the charts of divorced women. And we don't know about her HOB.

VENUS BIQUINTILE NEPTUNE: Artistic talent
How can we see her artistic talents without HOB?
Her chart must have Venus or Neptune prominent, on a crucial spot in the chart, but we cannot be sure. However, if she is born in the afternoon or evening Venus is biquintile Neptune and that is a solid indication for creative (biquintile) artistic (Neptune) talents (Venus).

NO AIR SIGNS
Another thing we know is that this chart lacks placements in airsigns and air is for communications and that points at Mercury (the messenger, by voice, by transport, by writing). Without placements in air signs a person is looking for an exchange of ideas and for social contacts. With the risk that she will communicate at any possible level, anyway, anyhow...

GREAT MINOR ASPECTS
The minor aspects are of great influence in her chart. See Jupiter and Sun connected by a semi quintile (36 degrees), for example, or Jupiter with Venus (80 degrees) or Mars (40 degrees).

MICHAEL
And what I find very important is, that her Mars is conjunct Michael Jackson's Mars, so that they might enjoy tight cooperation (and competion!). His Mercury (a.o. symbol of brotherhood and siblings) squares her Northern Node and her Jupiter is trine his Neptune.

WHAT ARE MINOR ASPECTS?
Major aspects (Ptolemic aspects) are: conjunction, sextile, square, trine and opposition. All other aspects are 'minor'. For example: quintile (72 degree), quindecile (15, 75, 105, 165), biquintile (144), quincunx or inconjunction (150 degrees), septile (51,42: seventh part of the circle of 360 degrees), semi square (45) or sesquisquare (135).

I make a difference between major and minor aspects. The major hard aspects are usually more obvious, but the minor aspects add a subtile specification that sometimes turns out to be of the utmost importance. Like the screw that eventually causes the crash. Or the talent that helps you reach your goals. Major so called harmonic aspects make things (good or bad...) more easy.

In this blog I present examples of all of these aspects.

Radical Uranus Pluto

Mix Uranus and Pluto and what you get are the ingredients for radicalism, for extreme (Pluto) differences (Uranus) of lifestyle (Sun), habits (Moon), ideas (Mercury), sympathies and preferences (Venus), in competition, war or fights (Mars), goals and reputation (MC) or in the way that a person presents himself (Ascendant). Often Uranus-Pluto is reflecting dramatic changes in a person’s life, too.*)
Here are some examples.

EXAMPLES
A radical is a person who shows a strong political stand point, like Berlusconi. Berlusconi (see his chart… ) has Mercury inconjunct Uranus and quintile Pluto and he keeps saying the 'wrong' words; the kind of words that journalists all over the world are so fond of because they fill the newspapers. The combination of Mercury, Uranus and Pluto is reflecting radical ideas. Radical opinions were also expressed by Theo van Gogh and Pim Fortuyn. They had Mercury conjunct Uranus/Pluto (and both were murdered because of their opinions). Pluto sometimes means 'danger' and Mercury-Uranus is the combination for differences of opinion...

How about Cat Stevens? He changed his name into Yousouf Islam and has the Sun between Uranus and Pluto.
I am also thinking about the change in the life of Father Damian (whose chart you can see in the linked post here…. He had Sun square Pluto and sextile Uranus.

MORE RADICAL OR EXPLICIT THAN OTHERS
When there are fewer voters, of course the more radical minded persons become active politicians easier than other persons do. That is why you see a minister in the Dutch government with Sun semi square Uranus/Pluto (who is of course also rather controversial:). George W. Bush and Netanjahu have Sun in hard aspect with Uranus/Pluto. Osama Bin Laden's Aries Point is connected to Uranus/Pluto. Even John F. Kennedy had Uranus/Pluto square Sun!

ULTRA…
In times of conservatism, the Uranus-Pluto person might be ultra left. Today, when most of the western democracies seem to be operating on the originally left side of the political spectrum, the rebel (Uranus-Pluto) is often seen as ultra right. The controversial politician Geert Wilders lives in safe houses since the murder of Theo van Gogh. In his chart Uranus and Pluto rise before the Sun. Uranus and Pluto together often provoke the enemy and/or forces to or obliges a new life style. The Australian conservative Tony Abbott has a Scorpio Sun (the equavilent of a Sun-Pluto; Scorpio is ruled by Pluto) square Uranus. The progressed Sun of Abbott is now conjunct Pluto and square Saturn and those are difficult aspects for a politician.

One of the worlds' most controversial persons is Christopher Monckton. See the news about him on the Guardian. He is an ultra right conservative and known for his views on AIDS and climate change.
Quoting Wapedia:

After attending one of Monckton's talks, Ethan Baron of the Canadian newspaper The Province criticised Monckton's assertions as the product of a "whacked-out, far-right ideology, combined with an ego the size of the Antarctic ice sheet."

Wow! Neptune (the one that offers a negative view) was conjunct his natal Sun and Progressed Sun was opposition Neptune last year, when he was an anti-climate change activist (Mars is oriental for acting). It is no surprise to astrologers that his Sun is sesquisquare Uranus, the symbol of controversy, upheaval and being different than the rest of the group (in this case: aristocrats, peers). Mr. Monckton wants to change the world or reshape the world according to his dreams, in a rather radical way. This is being reflected by the combination of the aspects of the Sun:
- sesquisquare Uranus (change)
- trine Neptune (ideals)
- opposition Pluto (transformation)
- sesquisquare Quaoar(new worlds)
Again you see the combination of Uranus and Pluto.

REVOLUTION
One more example of the radical change that Uranus-Pluto might reflect:
In 1966 there was a conjunction of Uranus and Pluto. This revolutionary combination made a sqaure with Mao Zedong's progressed Sun. Did his life change? Maybe not much. But it changed China: the cultural revolution.
The Russian October Revolution was with Uranus sesquisquare Pluto!

YOUR URANUS/PLUTO
The midpoint Uranus/Pluto in a natal chart is the point where your own 'radicalism' is cantered. When the progressed Sun or Midheaven reaches that point, your lifestyle or goals might change in a revolutionary way, or you are being forced or urged to consider doing so. There is also an hughe chance of changes when Uranus and Pluto make (separate) aspects with planets or angles by transit. See the post about indications for changes.

MICHAEL JACKSON
Michael Jackson is another example of the influence of Uranus/Pluto. He was and is one of the most controversial artists in the worlds' history. In the natal chart Uranus and Pluto are on either side of Mercury and Venus. The four planets are rising before his Sun. Could we read this as a controversial (Uranus-Pluto) vocal talent (Venus+Mercury) focussed on a radical renewal of vocal entertainment?

I corrected the earlier guess chart of MJ to 23:50. You see, Michael Jackson's hair got on fire on June 27, 1999. In a 23:50 chart that is with progressed Ascendant sextile Mars and transit Uranus trine Ascendant (reflecting the perfect moment for an accident) and transit Neptune sextile Midheaven. Also progressed Mars is inconjunct Neptune, 75 degrees from the natal Moon and square natal Pluto (for getting hurt). It was shortly after progressed Sun trine Midheaven.
Here is the chart with transits and progressions of the day of death. When he died transit Saturn was square natal Ascendant, at the lowest part of the chart, a rather important spot in the circle. Also Saturn is ruling the eight house (see the chart below). The Moon in Pisces remains on top.!His true hour of birth is still not known!.

3C: characteristics, circumstances, chart

Three is an important number. It takes 3 important transits and/or progressions at the same time to mirror a major event. There are also 3 component to consider and they start with a c:
- character,
- circumstances and
- chart.
As an example: Paris Jackson. She tried to kill herself on June 5, 2013 and it was not for the first time. See how the combination of who, where and in what situation she is, could lead her into hospital.

I CIRCUMSTANCES 
a. Death of famous father
Few people have the same circumstances as Paris Jackson. Paris Jackson doesn't have a common or easy life. In a lot of ways she is exceptional, starting with the conception. Her parents aren't the usual kind of parents. She is in the spotlights because she grew up in the house of the late King of Pop. The synastry between her chart and her father's shows that he almost obsessively protected his little girl. She was the apple of his eye.  His Jupiter was on her Descendant and quindecile her Sun. Now he is dead. He died during transit Saturn conjunct her progressed ruler 8th house: death (8) of a parent (Saturn).

Of course, those are only the facts that we know of... 

b. Age
It is understandable that she misses her father. But there is more. She is also a teenager and therefore in a difficult period in life. She lives with her grandmother, who has strict religious rules that she is not used to follow. Katheryn Jackson's - and those of her generation's - Pluto sits on Paris' IC.  Read 'Pluto when a child is born'. It is about the stress of being a parent (and perhaps a mentor to the child).

II CHART (PROGRESSIONS, TRANSITS)
Progressions and transits give the impression of a difficult period. The present situation is mirrored by uneasy transits and progressions. The dramatic action in the chart of Paris Jackson shows like this:

1 Neptune on Progressed MC is confusing

One year ago the progressed MC was conjunct Neptune and that is very confusing. Her progressed Sun will square Neptune in a few years. She is not out of the danger zone, yet. Especially not, because Neptune is important (square Ascendant and !calling! - without major aspects in sign or orb 5 degrees). This important Neptune is pointing at sensitivity for circumstances and situations at any possible level.  Neptune has another meaning and that is 'medication'.  (That is risky, too. Some anti-depression medication are suspected to be related to suicide attempts.)

2 Progressed Sun sign changing is life and lifestyle changes

Her progressed Sun is about to change sign, which is reflecting a period of changing life style. This doesn't help much when stability is needed. Often the period of change of the progressed Sun sign is a turbulent one. It is a chance to start another way of life, however.  Maybe therapy helps her to get there.

3 Transit Uranus and transit Pluto hit Moon and Sun/Moon midpoint

Her Cancer Moon needs to 'belong' to a family or group of people. Her Sun/Moon is square Venus: she wants love, luxury, kindness and pleasure. The natal Moon is in the 11th degree, Venus is in a 28th degree. Transit Uranus and Transit Pluto both hit her Moon, both will hit her Sun/Moon and both will hit Venus later. What does it mean that Uranus-Pluto hits her Moon inconjunct Uranus? This inconjunct makes it worse (see Characteristics below).

Transit Uranus and Pluto are causing extreme emotional tension right now and revolutionary change in the domestic and personal situation. Uranus and Pluto are often seen in cases of arrests, when there is sudden and unexpected change in life. In a way, Paris Jackson experienced such a change. She was taken to hospital and is not allowed to leave. Uranus and Pluto cause instability and unrest. Both planets will strongly change her motivation and sympathies in the coming period of her life. Tensions, normal in a teenager's life, will be extremely strong in hers.

4. Mars 135 MC
When she cut herself, transit Mars was in the 4th degree of Gemini, sesquisquare her natal Midheaven (frustrated action  and anger)

5. Progression: Saturn instead of Jupiter rising before Sun
In the natal chart Jupiter rises before the Sun, but in the progressed chart it is Saturn. Before she looked at life on the bright side. Now she has become more serious, more worrying. The position of Saturn in the progressed chart makes Saturn's transits and progressions more important now than they used to be. 

There are 3 indications of major change in life, one indication of possible depression and one (on June 5) for taking action, getting hurt.

NOW: MARS-SATURN

Mars is conjunct Saturn in the natal chart of Paris Jackson. In the progressed chart Mars is now in the 5th degree of Taurus. Transit Saturn is opposition her progressed Mars now.
Mars-Saturn is the aspect of discipline, punishment and dead ends, blocked energy and restricted activities. She is in hospital. 
(Again: when a natal aspect is being 'repeated' by a transit or progression, it 'sounds' louder).



III CHARACTERISTICS (BIRTH CHART)
Not every young girl who lost her father will do a suicide attempt. Paris Jackson's chart has two important features holding a risk:

1 Mars Saturn Pluto aspect combination in the natal chart; that is dangerous and warns for untimely death(s) as an issue in life.

Her Mars and Saturn in the 12th house of isolation and are sesquisquare Pluto in the 8th house of life and death. That combination of Mars, Saturn and Pluto is a danger. It is the combination of violent or unnatural death threats. Mars-Saturn and Pluto are the trio of untimely death. 
So, it is important to watch her carefully. She tends to drastic measures. 


2 Moon inconjunct Uranus in the natal chart, hit by transit Uranus and transit Pluto: that is over reaction always and extreme tension at the moment.

With these aspects in natal, transits and progression, in her situation,  you may expect dramatic and dangerous action in times of trouble (like now).
It is the combination of circumstances, character and chart that does it. Dramatic actions don't come out of the blue because of a transit or progression. Every chart must be seen in the light of the situation, gender, genes, social circuit and culture.  Change one of the ingredients and you change the course of history...


With all that I'd almost forget to mention that basically Paris Jackson just wants peace, love, beautiful things and harmony. Her important Jupiter and Venus could be important in a 'socialite' career, for enjoying parties and having fun. Maybe one day she'll have all that...

Michael Jackson's chart and the day of death

In 2008 I wrote about the chart of Michael Jackson and mentioned that 23:55 was my favorite hour of birth for the pop star. Now it's 7 years later. Meanwhile I learned about Pholus. Today I noticed the alternative data on Astrodatabank (19:33) coming from Charkrapani Ullal, a Vedic astrologer. Both hours of birth (23:55 and 19:33) show the pattern of artistic talent. Also, the Pisces Moon and Saturn have important positions, either angular or elevated, in both natal charts. While the 19:33 chart has an MC in aspect with Moon, Venus and Neptune, the 23:55 has Moon, Venus and Neptune connected with minor aspects and Venus opposition MC.  Moon is in Pisces. I'll tell you why I think that 19:33 is the right hour. It is because of Pholus on the day of death.

The Ascendant for 19:33 hours is 10:07 Pisces. On the day of his death we see relevant transits and progressions:
1.transit Pholus (symbol of the point of no return) was 10:05 Sagittarius Retrograde. That is an exact square with the Ascendant.
2. midpoint Sun/Moon at 10:31 Sagittarius in an almost exact conjunction with transit Pholus for a turning point in motivations.
3.  the Progressed Midheaven had recently been inconjunct the natal Sun. This mirrors an unhealthy status.
4. the Progressed Sun had been sesquisquare the Ascendant for a frustrating unhealthy situation.
5. transit Chiron was trine progressed Sun to show that healing was needed.
6. the progressed chart has Pholus close to Midheaven.
7. progressed Jupiter ruler 8 at 8Sc34 is almost square natal Pholus
8. transit Lillith semisextile Saturn

Here is the chart of 19:33 with the transits and progressions of the day of death, June 25, 2008

Still, I think it is rather amazing that there is no hard indication for danger of death, and that Pholus keeps coming back 4 times. Pholus is also the symbol of venom and shooting your own feet. That seems to be valid, even if your feet are dancing feet and even if you can dance the Moon Walk.

Nafissatour Diallo, astrology and DSK

The website African Success published the birth data of Nafissatou Diallo. She is the chamber maid of Sofitel NY who accuses Dominique Strauss Kahn of sexual assault committed on May 4 this year when she wanted to clean his room. What I like about the chart of Diallo is the Moon in Virgo. It is so typical basic astrology for a maid to have the Moon in the efficient, clean and service minded sign of Virgo! The interaction between the astrological positions on the day of birth of Diallo (January 17, 1979) and Strauss-Kahn is amazing, too. Transits, progressions and synastry aspects are resonating natal positions, like Mars-Uranus and Mars-Saturn. There is a correspondence with the case of MJ's doctor. 

SATURN-SUN

Coincidently (?) her Progressed Sun is conjunct the natal Saturn of DSK. In the case of the doctor of Michael Jackson there is also such a synastry. The Progressed Sun of MJ was conjunct the Saturn of the doctor when Michael Jackson died. NATAL SYNASTRY (Mars-Pluto)

The synastry between the chart of DSK and the position on the day of birth of Nafissatou Diallo is interesting. There are at least 6 important interactions:

• Her Jupiter is square his Sun (and that is a matter of trust and/or support)
• Her Sedna (symbol of the daughter in a difficult relationship with the father) is conjunct his Sun
• Her Pluto is opposition his Sun/Moon and that is the symbol of difficulties and challenges in the relationship between them.
• Her Mars is tightly square his and that is for fire (and fighting)
• Her Mars is inconjunct his Uranus (extraordinary excitement and impatience)His Mars is sextile Uranus (in his natal chart). Her Mars is in minor aspect with Uranus (67.5 degrees, sesquisemisquare). The Mars-Uranus inconjunction between them sort of re-mirrors the short fuse. Johann Calvin and his opponent Michael Servetus shared a Mars-Uranus aspect. Servetus (Mars inconjunct Uranus) was killed, Calvin was responsible. They had a controversy...

TRANSITS AND PROGRESSIONS OF DIALLO

1. You see above that her Mars and Pluto are part of the synastry. (her Mars square his Mars and her Pluto in aspect with his Sun/Moon). On the day of the incident transit Pluto was semi square her Mars. 

The combination Mars-Pluto is the combination of the use and abuse of power and violence (or suffering from it).

2. Her progressed Sun changed sign and so did her life and lifestyle...From unknown servant to famous violated woman.

3. Transit Neptune will be conjunct her  Progressed Sun from the weeks after the arrest until in February of 2012. It is the symbol of the press, the media, gossip and being isolated. 

NATAL POSITIONS OF DIALLO

The Sun in Capricorn and Moon in Virgo in combination with Mercury trine Saturn and the woman's position in society (!) is reflecting the importance of duty and serving. 

The Mars-Saturn-Sun combination is reflecting the difficulties with men (and the little jobs in order to stay alive without having a man). It is often not a very pleasant combination and points at working hard and discipline or restrictions. 

SHARING MARS-SATURN

DSK has Mars trine Saturn , the chamber maid has Mars sesquisquare Saturn. The two share a Mars-Saturn aspect that is already difficult in a 'normal' relationship. I quote Astromarkt about sharing aspects like Mars-Saturn:

Mars-Saturn: working hard together as long as possible (like Queen Elisabeth and her late mother), sharing the same frustrations, not much fun (unless there are other indications). This aspect might indicate a lack of shared activities.

Transit Saturn was quindecile his Mars when DSK was stopped at the airport. This transit meant the end of his job, too.

Discipline and strict measures are among the meanings of Mars-Saturn, and so is death (end of all energy). I quote:

MICHAEL JACKSON AND SATURN

At whatever time Michael Jackson was born on August, 29 1958 in Gary, Pluto will always be oriental and Venus/Uranus will always be sesquisquare Zero Aries. And right now both Mars and Saturn are conjunct his natal Sun. He has been spotted sitting in a wheel chair, his skin in bad condition and seemingly suffering from pain in the back. Mars (pain) and Saturn (being set back) seem to do their work effectively and without pity. It seems he looks bad now.

Elizabeth Taylor died

With progressed Sun sesquisquare Midheaven, and transit Chiron sextile progressed Mars, transit Pluto oppostiion progressed Venus and transit Pholus trine natal Venus Elizabeth Taylor died, age 79. 

She very much loved Michael Jackson.

Michael Jackson: "and that is it...".

After a cardiac arrest Michael Jackson was rushed to hospital but as it seems right now, he is either dead or in coma. When he announced his come back tour in July in London, he said 3 times 'and that is it...you know...that is it'. Perhaps this is it, right now. Today transit Mars was inconjunct his Saturn. The combination of Mars and Saturn is reflecting blocked energy. Also transit Pluto was inconjunct progressed Mars. This happens to be the same sort of combination as on the day of the announcement.
