Paris Hilton arrested (and when to have a party)

Yesterday Paris Hilton, dressing a Brazilian shirt, was arrested during the match Netherlands-Brazil (won by the Dutch), on suspicion of using drugs (cannabis),together with her friend. They let her go quickly (to be Hilton or not to be Hilton...) and this is the (C-rated) chart with transits...

Considering the fact that Paris Hilton's chart has a C-rated (uncertain) hour of birth, let us stick to the Sun and planets and their transits.
- Transit Saturn is inconjunct her natal Sun and was in opposition with her progressed Sun last year
That makes it hard to have self respect. You might loose some dignitiy. It might be because your life style (Sun) is not in line (inconjunct) with the law (Saturn). You may also be too hard for yourself (your health suffers).
- Transit Neptune opposition natal Sun

That is the kind of transit that could be expected when the word 'drugs' is involved, because Neptune symbolizes drugs, a.o. Negative press is to be expected when celebrities get this kind of transits.

Does it surprise you that Venus is 'calling' in her natal chart? Her Aquarian Venus doesn't make any Ptolemaic aspect. Venus is the symbol of luxury, beauty, comfort, style, pleasure and diplomacy: all that makes life easier and prettier.

THE PARTY ANIMAL

BTW Again I see a 127 or 127.5 degree aspect making sense: Venus-Jupiter (the party!) . I found a site mentioning a 127 degree effect in earthquakes (link). Of course this could be considered to be a very wide trine between Venus and Jupiter. But I have noticed more often that this degree seems to have a strong effect. I'll be back on this subject later.

The party animal in the chart of Paris Hilton could also be found when her Ascendant is in the 12th/13th degree, related to the midpoint of the socialite and parties (Venus/Jupiter). In which case transit Pholus (the one that shot his own foot) is conjunct her natal Ascendant.

NEWS = URANUS = EXCITEMENT
The planet of news and excitement is Uranus. There are three important connections with Uranus right now!
1. His progressed Uranus is now inconjunct his natal Midheaven. That means that there is a disproportional upheaval related to his career.
2. Transit Uranus is also conjunct his progressed Midheaven.
3. Late July there was a conjunction of progressed Sun and progressed Uranus.
For a VIP this usually means that you are the topic of conversation and mostly because something is being revealed about you. The amount of Uranus might turn his world upside down!

SUCCESS
Why is he so successful? With Sun biquintile Jupiter and sextile Uranus he is inventive in a creative way. MARRIAGE
Why is he so vulnerable for blackmail?
David Letterman is a married man. He divorced before. There are four important aspects reflecting possible divorce in a male's chart, according to the astrologer Ram. They are:
- Moon afflicted by Saturn
- Moon afflicted by Neptune
- Venus afflicted by Neptune
- Mars afflicted by Uranus
Conflicts between the houses 1 and 7 are indications for both genders. When there are 2 or more of such indications the chance of a broken marriage is rather high. David Letterman has Moon square Neptune and 157.5 degrees (sesquisquare + half semi square) Saturn. The same minor aspect is between Venus and Neptune. So, David Letterman has 3 of such indications and Jupiter (symbol of 'more or many') in the 7th house of marriage.

PROMINENT MARS (Symbol of male sexuality)
Why did he DO it?
He has a very important Mars (symbol of males). He is 'sharp as a knife' by nature. In the progressed chart Mars is being accentuated and enforced by holding a position related to Sun/Moon (motivation) and AC/MC (crucial importance)!

Pluto also holds an important position in the natal chart of Letterman (square Ascendant and 'at the bottom' of the chart). But the most prominent planet is Mars. Mars is the planet of energy and drive. That is why Mars is so often important in the charts of entrepeneurs and soldiers, athletes and of men with a typical 'manlike' job.
Transit Mars was square natal Sun a few days ago and also opposition Midheaven. Transit Pluto (ruler of the 7th house of marriage…) was square natal Mars yesterday, challenging his marriage.

Mars, the planet of males, is very strong in the Astor I.D. of David Letterman because:

1. Mars is rising before his Sun and

2. Mars is conjunct Aries Point (Zero Aries)*).

3. Mars is also the final dispositor of Midheaven.

4. Mars rules his Sun in Aries

5. Mars is trine the ruler of Midheaven

In the progressed chart Mars (the chart progressed till today) Mars is also very important. Mars is conjunct AC/MC and Sun/Moon. That means that the qualities of the prominent natal Mars are being highlighted and are of crucial importance in this period of his life.

Apart from Mars and Pluto, there is also an important position for Mercury (half semi square Sun/Moon, reflecting motivation by communication) and for Saturn (sesquisquare AC/MC, reflecting ambition and management).

Chart of Rajmata Gayatri Devi

Rajmata Gayatri Devi, former Queen of Jaipur died July 29, 2009. She reached the age of 90. At such an age, every hard aspect might reflect fatality. In May of this year progressed Saturn was square her natal Sun. That is mirroring a step backward in health and possible blockades. Transit Pluto was exactly inconjunct her natal Sun when she passed away. This symbolizes difficulties and transformations with a possible loss.

SOCIALITE (VENUS + JUPITER)
Her natal chart is reflecting the birth of a socialite. Venus was conjunct Jupiter on the Ascendant. The combination of Venus and Jupiter is the combination of the party, having fun and enjoying international settings and travelling. This combination was angular (so: of crucial importance) in her natal chart. She and her husband turned their palace into a hotel and they travelled a lot. That is the effect of a prominent Jupiter. Venus, of course, is the symbol of charm and beauty. On the Ascendant Venus makes you look good, beloved and appreciated. URANUS
The most tight aspect in her natal chart is Sun square Uranus, for being controversial and different from the rest. Uranus (and Node) are in hard aspect with Sun/Moon. In December 1973 progressed Uranus was exactly square her Natal Sun (because Uranus had retrograded in progression). Her husband died in 1970. Between 1971 and 1975 she experienced the loss of her privy purses and later she spent months in jail after being accused of violating tax laws. Unlike other widows, she remained a socialite.

MARS
The position of the unaspected Mars, rising before her Sun, is reflecting the importance of her husband and her activities to promote polo.

BIRTH CHART NICK HOGAN and SATURN-URANUS

Nick Hogan (Nick Bollea), is a Formula D driver and the brother of Brooke Hogan and sun of Hulk Hogan, is in prison right now. He got 8 months for causing an accident in an illegal street race that killed one of the persons involved. Whenever there is an issue of limited freedom, you see a combination of Saturn-Uranus being activated.

Nick was born 27th July 1990 (so he has only just become 18 years old!) with Saturn 15 degrees away from Uranus (a quindecile making us aware of the issue of limited freedom), a calling Sun that draws attention, Jupiter oriental for self confidence and travelling...and Pluto sesquisquare Aries Point for the price to pay and the treasure to win. ASTROLOGY CHART OF MISS UNIVERSE 2008

Dayana Mendoza (June 1, 1986, Caracas, Venezuela) is Miss Universe now. Let us see if Venus is prominent in her chart...

Venus is in the 13th/14th degree of Cancer and does not make Ptolemaic aspects in sign or orb 5 degrees. And such a Venus is a prominent Venus!

In 2007 she became Miss Venezuela and that was when her progressive Sun (the Sun progressed for 1 day = 1 year) changed sign (from Gemini to Cancer). The Sun symbolizes the way you live. The changing sun sign surely changed her life.

Even without HOB it is visible that she was born on a day that Venus (for diplomacy, beauty and talent) was very generous and that around 2007 her life would change. Less obvious, but very important, is the midpoint yod created by Venus opposition the midpoint of Jupiter and Pluto (Jupiter/Pluto, the combination of confidence and success related to Venus, the planet of esthetics).

Angelina Jolie gave birth to a twin, a boy and a girl, at 18;45 and 19:00 hours, by caesarian. Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline; these are the names for the boy and the girl that saw the light yesterday, 12th July, in Nice.

DOUBLE JOY
The twin have their Jupiter square the Jupiter of Angelina and their Venus conjunct hers, perhaps for double (Jupiter) fun (Venus):)
But watch Angelina's Saturn - responsibilities, parenthood - in the 18th degree of Cancer, opposition the Jupiter of the twins. Jupiter is ruler 1 of the twins, in Capricorn and in the first house.

ARTISTIC TALENT
The opposition coming from Saturn might point at the necessity to give the children space to develop in their own way. And that will be an artistic way, no doubt about that. Venus (ruler MC) and Neptune are calling!! And with the Moon as end dispositor, acting might have something to do with it (memorising and keeping the past alive). The tightest aspect is Venus inconjunct Pluto. The axis Venus-Pluto is the financial axis, the inconjunction is pointing at a 'disbalance'. Some of that disbalance might be the 7 million dollar worth first picture of the babies. Another thing is that this aspect sometimes causes problems in love life and relationships. But not right now. With their Moon in Scoprio sextile Jupiter they will be overly spoilt and have a happy time at home.

TEMPER
The way the babies came to the world was hasty (with surgery) and the crucial position of Uranus down in the chart, in a quindecile (165d) with Uranus reflects it. I bet these kids have a temper!


SYNASTRY = TRANSITS
Of course the transits of the day the children were born have a certain influence. Yesterday Angelina had Jupiter square Jupiter and opposition Saturn., Venus conjunct Venus and Ascendant, and Venus square Uranus (a combination that refers to a complication or surgery related to beauty or ... specific female things). As Pluto - her ruler 5 - is inconjunct her Ascendant we might asume that this birth had a lot of impact and raising these two will be a challenge. Still, she underwent surgery at the moment of birth, so their were circumstances in the 'meeting' and interaction that won't repeat themselves.

Pluto is BTW the symbol of LIFE and death. Angelina has her progressed MC sesquisquare progressed Pluto right now. In the progressed chart Ceres (motherhood!) is on top.

BRAD PITT HAPPY FATHER
One thing is certain: when baby 1 was born Brad Pitt's Jupiter was on his IC and that is a very good sign for support and understanding. Brad's Pluto is inconjunct the IC of number 2. It seems that the second baby will tned be the more challenging one. Or that at the specific moment that that baby was born, Brad had stress and was impressed.

MORE SYNASTRY
Baybe number 1 (I don't know if it is the boy or the girl) has his mother's Mars on the IC and her Sun/Mercury on the Descendant.

Baybe number 2 has not got prominent placements. Angelina's Mars/Jupiter is on the baby's IC.

NELSON MANDELA, HIS CHART and the transits on June 12, 1964

On June 12, 1964 Nelson Mandela was sentenced to life in prison. Here you see his natal chart (source is Noel Tyl: Vocations) with the transits of June 12, 1964. His life in prison started with transit Saturn opposition MC (for the lowest point in his life) and Uranus close to the MC (for a shocking change). Saturn and Uranus together are the symbols of freedom and its limitations*).

When he was released, 27 years later, on February 11, 1990 there was transit Jupiter conjunct Jupiter,ruler 1 - for pure hapiness. But there were hard political confrontations at the same time. They are symbolised by transit Saturnus sesquisquare the Midheaven and progressed MC conjunct Moon and sesquisquare Pluto. This is what made him drive straight towards the head office of ANC on the day and hour of his freedom. Pluto is for a comeback and Saturn certainly did not make it easy.

Oh yes..And of course the combination of Saturn and Uranus is present again: progressed Ascendant conjunct Uranus and opposition Saturn!

In Februari 1994 he was elected president of South-Africa with progressed Moon conjunct Midheaven. Later (in summer) the progressed MC made two squares. One with progressed Uranus and one with progressed Saturn! Is not it typical that at that time he got the Presidential Medal of Freedom?

BIRTH CHART SHARON STONE Transit Saturn for bad karma

A blooper! Sharon Stone told the press that maybe bad karma caused the earthquakes in China. Now Christian Dior, her employer, apologised in public and her pictures will not be shown in China any more. This happens with transit Saturn tightly square her natal MC and if anything is the aspect of bad karma, this is.

BIRTH CHART MADONNA AND GUY RITCHIE

It seems that Madonna (16th August 1958, Bay City, 7:05 a.m.) and Guy Ritchie (September, 10, 1968, Hatfield, time unknown) are not having the most pleasant time of their relationship. Madonna has difficult transits like Uranus inconjunct Sun (not matching will to be independant) and Pluto inconjunct Venus (test for a relationship) and sesquisquare Mars (all in all a difficulty in passion) right now. And the inconjunction is known for ending things. So th e press might be right.
Guy has Transit Uranus inconjunct Mars. I have indicated here before, that Mars-Uranus conflicts are causing trouble in relationships in the birth charts of males. And in their transits. In the charts of females Mars-Uranus might (not necessarily!) indicate the 'wrong' man, sometimes a relationship with a gay man.

What made the couple come together and what is the problem?
His Mars is almost exactly conjunct her Sun. She is the boss.
Her Saturn is square his Sun. She is older.
His Neptune is square her Sun: she is his 'muse', his inspiration.

It does not mean that any relation with an elderly woman is born to die. It means that in THIS situation and relationship it is a possible problem.

Right now, her progressed Sun is in the middle of his Mercury and Venus. His progressed Mars is almost conjunct his Sun and...her Jupiter! It doesnot sound too bad, I am afraid. However: if this is Guy Ritchie first longlasting relationship, their might be trouble. Because he has Moon conjunct Saturn and Venus semi square Neptune (for the artist and for love affairs). Two of the four indications for breaking up!*)


*) The others are Moon afflicted by Neptune and Mars in conflict with Uranus.

PS: What I forgot to mention is the match between them. There is little. The Suns and Moons do not match, neither does Mercury. Venus matches Venus (something had to match, or else they would not have started their relationship). But there is also a wide square between Mars and Mars. Often such a relationship starts with sexual attraction and ends up fighting each other.

BIRTH CHART OF MIN BAHADUR SERCHAN and what made him climb Mount Everest at age 76?

On June 20, 1931 Min Bahadur Serchan was born in Nepal and recently he climbed the 8848 high Mount Everest! He is the eldest men ever who conquered this mountain. And he did it with transit Jupiter conjunct Saturn, for successes at old age:), in the year that his progressed Sun and Venus were conjunct his progressed Mercury to make a wish out of his student years come true.

Even for a sherpa and a native Nepalese, climbing Mount Everest at age 76 is extraordinary. What extraordinary indications were there on his day of birth?
- Uranus is the oriental planet.
In my book Astro I.D. (in Dutch) I give several examples of people who became very old and had Uranus oriental. It seems to stimulate vitality.
Uranus is oriental. Venus and Mercury, the planets that rises before the Sun and soon after Uranus, are not exceptional or prominent in this chart, but Uranus is.
- Sun is calling!
There are no major aspects in sign or orb (5d) made by the Sun. The Sun is calling! That means that in this life you might expect leadership, drawing attention, being a star somehow...and apparently, sometime!:)
- Look at Mars...
Sesquisquare Uranus and Saturn, semi square Pluto. He must have had injuries due to a special drive to gain and win no matter how.
- Fanatism
Of course he has a strong will. This is expressed by Sun semi halfsextile Pluto.

As you see, mr. Serchan was born on a special day for special efforts and I bet that the moment that he was born was marked with crucial placements, too.

BIRTH CHART HANS-JOACHIM SEWERING

Hans-Joachim Sewering was born January 30, 1916 in Bochum (Germany). During World War II he worked in Eglfing-Haar where they did a euthanasia project. Some organisations accuse him of killing at least one and probably a lot more children as a participant in this Nazi euthanasia program, soon after finishing medical studies. It gave him a carreer boost. Since that time he has been protected, promoted and honoured. And no one ever tried to even seriously study the possibility of committed crime, though there is a strong case against him, according to 'Bad Nazi Doctor'. This week the BDI honoured him, again.

Astrology is not able to produce a 'who done it'. The theme of death and violence is as frequent in the charts of victims as in those of murderers. But with the help of astrology we can deduce the marks of a man who's word was more valuable then that of his accusers.

EUTHANASIA
The euthanisia program ordered the transfer of 900 Roman Catholic girls out of a sanatorium to Eglfing-Haar “Healing Center”, where they died. "The so-called healing center at Eglfing-Haar was directed by Dr. Herman Pfanmueller, a psychiatrist in Munich. Dr. Pfanmueller was enthusiastic about his work, conducted tours of his institution, and expressed great pride in his method of killing children sent to Eglfing-Haar. BIRTH CHART
Look at the chart. It is a time unknown chart with a nice Astro I.D. and hard aspects that demonstrates the life of a succesful man who was honoured more than once. And the life of a man who's life and character has tough and hard sides.

You can see the Astro I.D. of the radical man. Uranus is semi square Aries Point and Pluto is square Aries Point. Uranus is sesquisquare Pluto. The oriental position is for the Moon in Sagittarius and Jupiter is calling. Moon, Jupiter, Uranus and Pluto are prominent in the chart of a man who has been protected and honoured. Moon is for commitment and care, Jupiter and Pluto - he was a senator in Bavaria - for the carreer boost and Uranus for being controversial.

There are no placements in earth. You can read more about the effect of the missing element on my site Astromarkt. The missing element 'earth' points at materialism (one is very eager to get what is missing: certainty, security and solid basics). Sewering managed to get it.

THEME OF UNNATURAL DEATH
When you look at the aspects in his chart, you notice the hard aspects. See Sun quindecile - 165d- Mars, inconjunct Saturn and biquintile Pluto for the 'die hard', the life with hard confrontations, the disbalance between position and honour, the creative way to do win and the importance of the theme of unnatural death in his life. Looking at the minor aspects help you find another 'unnatural death' construction of Mars, Saturn and Pluto: Mars is semi square Saturn and septile Pluto. So that is two. Pluto 135 Sun/Mars and 67.5 Sun/Saturn completes the rule of 3!

PROGRESSIONS AND TRANSITS
The nuns said that everybody knew what happened in Eglfing-Haar, including the victims themselves. Sewering, however, says he did not know. There is a picture of Hans-Joachim as a member of the SS at age 22 (in 1938). He became a member in 1933 (progressed Moon trine Jupiter; always an indication for a fortunate move).
Around 1937 his progressed Sunsign (and so his lifestyle) changed when he became a student. In the year of the picture his progressed Sun was trine Pluto: a good year for politics and strategy. On November 1, 1943 he admitted Babette (born July 7, 1929) in his 'hospital'. She had Saturn opposition Saturn that day. The amount of difficult aspects would almost make you overlook the harmonious aspect in Sewering's chart: Venus trine Saturn (longlasting relationships and sympathies). In the year of the accusations by nuns (in 1993) you might expect difficult aspects and transits, but: progressed Sun is semisquare Venus, instead. Because, in that year (1993) he was honoured in public!

Look at Sun square Saturn for the limitations that he felt and see the 60% placements in earth, with no placements in airsigns. It points at materialism, realism, production and sometimes it must have been hard to reason with Dolce. Communicating was important as a theme in his life.

Uranus does it again! With transit Uranus sesqui square progressed Sun, opposition natal Saturn and conjunct his natal Ascendant, ....

Or should we read it like this, since he is trying to match items in his program with actuality: disadvantages (Saturn) of hypes (Uranus)?:)

MAX MOSLEY's NEPTUNE as Neptune = astrological for scandall and ...tapes

Max Mosley (London April 13, 1940;FIA, Formula 1 races) has been taped having sex with 5 women dressed as nazi officers and their prisoners. I guess he was not figuring in a movie, because it is news and it is a scandall.

Mosley has an almost perfect conjunction of Sun and Jupiter in Aries and Sun is semi square Mars and Venus. A succesful man with a passion and...dreams he should better not realise or fantasies that he would better not reveal (Sun inconjunct Neptune).

The scandall was born on his birthday (as it happens, when WWII was starting). The natal Sun is inconjunct Neptune and so is Jupiter. Transit Neptune is inconjunct his natal Neptune now and that is very telling: a scandall about a tape.

JAMIE OLIVER AND TRANSIT SATURN

With Transit Mars square Pluto an independant investigation (Pluto!) resulted in qualifying Jamie Oliver's school for cooking as ... a mash. It won't make Jamie happy. Maybe he is a bit angry even...This transit hits the opposition of Mars and Pluto in the birth chart!

Jamie was born 27th May 1975 in Essex, UK with Jupiter rising before the Sun, Mercury 'calling', and without placements in the fixed signs. On the other hand, he has a lot of placements in cardinal signs. Mars is opposition Pluto and the Sun makes harmonious aspects with both Mars and Pluto. The Sun also makes a creative biquintile with Uranus. (BTW It is interesting to see that some of these aspects correlate with those of a controversial but popular comedian in Holland, Paul de Leeuw.)

You see the succes, the prominence of communicating and writing (Mercury). Sun, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter and Pluto strongly present themselves! The combinations of these planets are the ingredients for a good carreer. It is amazing how quickly Jamie Oliver became one of the most succesful cooks in the world!
