Transit Chiron with Mars and Pluto is a pain

You may have noticed that there are fewer messages on this blog than used to be. It is because since mid November last year when transit Mars hit my Saturn, I have an increasing pain and can't move my upper right leg. It might be because of a muscle problem, but it takes more doctor's knowledge to be sure (I will be informed Monday). I have a list of 6 nasty transits and progressions to accompany what I consider the main indication for my situation:
Transit Chiron in Pisces is conjunct my progressed Mars and inconjunct my progressed Pluto. In the progressed chart Mars is inconjunct Pluto.

Chiron is supposed to be the healer, but there MUST be something to be healed, of course. Mars-Pluto is a great indication (in my astrologer's eyes) for getting hurt when using on overdose of force. I  used that when I tried to be stronger than my French Bully:). She pulled one way, I wanted to go the other way and when I turned and pushed, something snapped. That was Mars-Saturn. The other nasty things are listed below. It is depressing, especially because I completely depend upon my husband for almost everything. In the past weeks things got worse and now I even have a wheel chair and a lovely friend to walk me around the pond when the sun shines.

If you see this transit coming, beware:). No, it is not so violent, always. I have that list:
1. Progressed Moon in progressed 12th house, opposition transit Saturn in the progressed 6th (but in the 9th of the natal chart, and I hope that is helping me)
It is the kind of transit Saturn running behind the moon and it will be November when the transit is gone. It means: depressing experience keeping you at home (in my case).
2. Transit Pluto inconjunct progressed Moon in natal 3rd house
3. Progressed Mars and Venus inconjunct progressed Neptune  and Pluto (mysterieus passion? no way!)
4. Progressed Ascendant inconjunct Mars (after opposition Venus) for inflammation?
5. Transit Pholus opposite progressed Ascendant and semi sextile Mars (turing point in perspective + frustrations): really I doubt if I can make that trip this summer...
6. Lunar chart has Mars on the Ascendant
and finally: that transit of Chiron with Mars and Pluto.

Even the chart of my husband is involved. His progressed Sun is close to my natal Sun now.  It means that he will also get transit Chiron - Sun soon, because that is what coming up next.

Now you know why there aren't so many posts, lately. A funny picture I saw has this text:
I don't know if it is killing me or if it is making me stronger. We'll see...One day I hope to do what they do in the picture above!

Bad moment to act: Mars - Saturn and TV intruder

On January 29, 2014 an intruder demanded to be enabled to speak to the public on TV (see BBC for the news). Nothing much happened, except that there was no TV at all for a while and the young man quickly surrendered. He had a fake pistol. What he wanted to tell the public remains unknown.
It seems to have been a chemistry student with complot theories who lately told a friend that he 'wasn't well'. The threats (radio active bombs, hacker attacks) were as fake as his gun.

He had some serious progressions and transits (like everyone born on February 14, 1995*), repeating aspect combinations in the natal chart. The effect of transits and progressions between the same planets/lights are stronger when there is a natal aspect (however small).
I wrote about that effect before (see the post: http://astropost.blogspot.nl/2013/08/resonance-of-uranus-pluto-and-jupiter.html )

It is the same in this case.

NATAL
In the natal chart we see Sun opposite Mars and Mars quatronovile Saturn.

PROGRESSED (chart of 1 day=1year)
In the progressed chart we see Sun conjunct Saturn and Sun inconjunct Mars and Mars inconjunct Saturn.

TRANSIT (actual position of Sun, Moon and planets)
Transit Mars was exactly conjunct Saturn

Mars-Saturn combinations signal  action or inactivity based upon duty, age, fear or caution, with different results

There are two quincunxes in the progressed chart (Mars inconjunct Sun and Saturn) and there is a Mars-Saturn transit. These progressions and transits work harder because there is already such an aspect in the natal chart. What he did could have killed him. But this act definitely stopped his way of life, his study and his career. With Saturn, periods of life end. Inconjunct Mars it might be in an aggressive and unbalanced way.

There is one more repeated aspect. In the natal chart the Sun is inconjunct Chiron. On the day of his appearance on television transit Chiron was conjunct his Progressed Sun and progressed Saturn and inconjunct his Progressed Mars, to make the situation extra painful.

Last but not least: transit Pholus sextile Sun makes it easy to shoot your own feet at a point of no return.

The lot of quincunxes (4) tell a story of giving up, being out of balance and loss. When there are 3 indications pointing in the same direction, it happens more often that there is an important situation in your life. In this case, it was a situation of decline.
See the article on inconjunctions on my site Astromarkt.

Here are some charts. Click and open in a new window to have a better view.

In this post I don't analyse the positions on the day of birth of this young man. There are keys to the way he acted (Moon Leo for drawing attention, Sun quintile Jupiter for a creative way to make your life more than it is and other indications).

*) If you were born that day, too, that doesn't mean that you will live a similar life or have the same kind of problems. Genes, gender, situation and circumstances color the chart. It is, however, wise to take extra care, watch out for infections and depression this year.

The Chiron progression and return

In "The healing that you need with Chiron" I attributed Chiron's transits and progressions to ailments and illnesses and I gave a few examples. Of course, serious illness doesn't go along with just one transit or progression of Chiron! Usually there are more (at least 3) serious indications in such a bad period in life. Chiron's transits and progression can be psychologically painful, too. If we see Chiron as a teacher, we may see transits and progressions of Chiron in periods of 'a lesson learned' (or learnt, if you are British). Maybe Sun-Chiron makes you face 'where it hurts', where the pain is and what causes it. Need examples?

It happens to two politicians right now! Also, Chiron is almost conjunct the position of 50 years ago, when President John F. Kennedy was murdered (10Pi14).  It's the painful Chiron return period, reminding us of a never clearly solved murder case. Here is the chart of the moment of the assassination with the transits of November 22, 2013. Click to enlarge!

The charts of the politicians are of:

1. President Barack Obama

His health care (!Chiron) program doesn't work as it should and his popularity is declining. This happens exactly with progressed Sun inconjunct progressed Chiron. It must be painful to see how the key project of your presidency fails to be supported by the majority. Even more disturbing is that progressed Sun will be inconjunct natal Chiron in a few years time. The inconjunct is slippery and sliding. I don't think that it is easy to be the President of the USA right now and his chart mirrors that. See the latest post: http://astropost.blogspot.nl/search/label/Obama Her is his progressed chart:

2. Silvio Berlusconi

He has lost support, his party is deteriorating and his power and influence fading. His progressed Sun is square natal Chiron right now. In his natal chart Chiron holds an elevated and important position.

What happened with Transit Uranus opposition Sun

Transits of Uranus are amazing, surprising or alarming and shocking, depending on the rest of the chart. Sometimes such a transit mirrors an accident, not necessarily happening to you. Maybe you 'just' see it happen...

TRANSIT URANUS OPPOSITION SUN
On September 4, 2013 transit Uranus was exactly opposition the natal Sun of my husband, at 13:42 MEST. Just  a couple of minutes later, he had an accident with hot water and had second-degree burn spots on his chest. Fortunately there is no reason to fear complications any more, and while he first looked like a modern mummy, he now has only one piece of bandage that covers about 30cm2.

WHY NOW, WHY THIS?
Transit Uranus opposition Sun often accompanies sudden changes. As Uranus was retrograding, there will be one more hit, on March 19 2014,with Uranus direct. Also on January 11, 2014 transit Pluto will be square his Sun. Uranus+Pluto means turbulence,  revolt and forced changes. It is red alert time now. Uranus+Pluto signal stress and nervousness.

No worries, there is not need to be afraid with only one transit Uranus. Of course, there were more transits and progressions at the same time, like always when there is an event that you will remember. There were two more transits:
  • Transit Chiron (sesquisquare Sun/Moon: see the doctor) and
  • Transit Pluto conjunct Progressed Mars (danger to get hurt)
There were progressions, too:
- Remains of progressed Sun trine Pluto and
- remains of progressed MC square Uranus.
These two progressed aspects were exact only days ago. We are in a hectic period of many changes.

I don't believe in 'fate'. I think that it was, because of the impatient hurry or urge to complete what he was doing.
Aware of the hectic and stressful aspects,  I had alerted him about hurrying in traffic, but then something else happened. With Uranus it is always 'something unexpected'. Uranus is amazing, surprising and shocking, indeed.

Uranus is for adrenaline. In hectic times, you have more of it and you tend to rush, hurry and make the wrong moves. And if you don't, you need the adrenaline to start running...(but only when there are more indications for this and when there is a situation allowing this to happen).
SO, lesson learned...:
  • TRANSIT URANUS opposition SUN: don't hurry with work (6th)
  • TRANSIT PLUTO on PROGRESSED MARS: mind the danger to get hurt
  • TRANSIT CHIRON - SUN/MOON: see the doctor

Ailments: Transit Chiron conjunct Ascendant

During several months transit Chiron has been conjunct my Ascendant and in fact: that is where Chiron still is. It won't take long, he will be gone in a few weeks. I am grateful that Chiron won't be back! Because, in the past months there have been many ailments that I like to contribute to Chiron. I hope that if he moves on, so will the ailments!:)

From last summer till now I have constantly been unable to do what I wanted because of a continuing flood of illness and accidents. I won't mention them all here, but it is a range of ailments from feet to ear and all that is in between, from spring 2011 till now. Of course, as I always say, there is more needed to reflect illnesses and there is (like Saturn square my Mars and Saturn inconjunct progressed Mars, for example; limiting energy). Transits of those kind of symbols should move faster, as far as I'm concerned:). Ailments are not as bad as life threatening diseases, but one can do without...

Many astrologers speak of important lessons to learn during bad transits.  I would have wanted a speedy training instead of this. I also believe that there are lessons to learn by means of blessings! So, what is the lesson (if there is any)? If it was a lesson, the teacher forget to give a clue. I have been ill before (and worse), so I don't need Chiron to tell me about vulnerabilities:). If, when Chiron leaving my ascendant, it is examination time, I know that I will fail.

The question is: am I right about ailments and Chiron or is it just me?

This transit Chiron conjunct Ascendant doesn't happen often. Not everybody will experience this transit, it is a privilege! It took Chiron almost a life time to travel trough the zodiac signs.
Have you ever had transit Chiron conjunct the Ascendant? See the list...Now here comes the question: did you notice an increasing amount of ailments in that period? Please do the poll.
