Resonance and the odd man out in chart Ronnie Biggs

In this post I like to show you the pattern of repeating aspect combinations (resonance) in important times in the life of Ronnie Biggs. Ronnie Biggs is one of the robbers in the Great Train Robbery of July 8, 1963,  about 50 years ago.

The natal chart has Sun-Jupiter and Sun-Uranus aspects. In 1963 (robbery) and in 2001(return to England) there were progressed aspects and transits between Sun, Jupiter and Uranus. The 'echoed' the natal chart's aspects. With Pluto, they mirrored the important events and changes in the life of Biggs.

Jupiter-Uranus often 'assists' to create positive change or allows to see the bright sides. With Jupiter-Uranus transits and progressions there is often 'good luck'.  In 1965 Ronnie Biggs escaped. In 2001 he was taken care of (in prison).
As Jupiter is sextile Uranus, there is a Sun-Jupiter-Uranus combination of the helicopter view, sudden windfall, being inventive and for the successful use of intuition. Jupiter sextile Uranus happens to be one of the tightest aspect in his chart.
When transit Uranus and transit Jupiter hit his Sun and progressed Sun, his life changed in a positive way, again. He came back for health reasons.
 
CHARTS
Here is his chart (time unknown) with transits and progressions for the day of the robbery, his 34th birthday.

When Ronnie Biggs returned to England, there were happy (?)  trines in his chart.

SUN TRINE URANUS ALIENATION STORY
Alienation is easy when the Sun is trine Uranus. You can imagine how much independence you need when you move from country to country, unable to return to your family back home, because than he would be sent to prison.  He went back to England, straight to prison and spent 8 of the 30 years of his sentence there until he was allowed to leave because of his age. When he came back, transit Uranus was trine his progressed Sun. 
Again, you see the resonance of Sun trine Uranus natal <> transit Uranus trine P Sun. He was a  'foreigner' most of his life. His final statement was made in the book 'Odd man out' ...

Uranus was accompanied by Jupiter, just like in the natal chart. When he came back to England  transit Jupiter was sextile natal Sun, echoing the natal chart's Jupiter sextile Uranus.
Ronnie Biggs has always been regarded as the most lucky robber, because he seemingly had a pleasant life in Brazil and because he never regretted what he did, until he was unable to say it in his own words. Yet, when he came back, he was happy, again even though he lost his freedom. He wanted to be with his family at old age. In a way, he got it his way.


THE SUN PLUTO TRANSFORMATION STORY
There is no Sun-Pluto natal aspect, but the fact that Pluto rises before the Sun creates a Sun-Pluto combination. Pluto's position in front of the sun contributes to seeing the importance of values, money, power and strategy.  At the important moments of his life, Sun-Pluto combinations popped up to show the stress of transformation time.

His progressed Sun was sextile Pluto, which seems to be an appropriate astrological statement for transformation in life, using the posibilities. He also underwent plastic surgery soon after the robbery (a transformation, again). He left England and via Paris moved to Australia and later to Brazil and back again. That was with transit Pluto trine Sun, in 2001.

PS SUN-VESTA
Jupiter and Uranus are in aspect with Vesta (home sweet home Vesta) in the natal chart. In 2001, progressed Sun was quindecile (165d) Vesta, which says: a period of strong focus on domestic issues. Vesta is the symbol of the fireplace, of dedication and of 'home' (where the hearth is).

Jupiter trine Pluto

Monday, March 12 Jupiter is exactly trine Pluto. That is astrologic for something
real big.
That is why I like to add this 'Bacchus' of Rubens every time that I think of Jupiter-Pluto. Because that is what happens when you grow the intense way, perhaps:).

Last time that Jupiter was trine Pluto (end of October 2011) a European agreement in Brussels raised trust on the financial market (but not for long!). Now is the second time and maybe it is a second chance. According to Chairman Van Rompuy last Friday (a day with Sun square Pholus) the crisis in Europe was then at a turning point (having reached an agreement about Greece again). Jupiter is the symbol of trust and hope and growth. Pluto is the symbol of intensity, power, money and values. According to Reinhold Ebertin in COSI the Jupiter-Pluto combination is socially related to economy and speculating. A trine makes it easy to intensify trust and cultivate power.

I know,  it is also Mercury retrograding time. I am curious about the way that this could alter the process of stimulating the economy. Meanwhile my optimism is growing, perhaps because that Jupiter-Pluto trine is trine my natal Mercury (and my Mercury is in aspect with Jupiter/Pluto midpoint). So let's see and take the opportunity to see a brilliant Venus-Jupiter conjunction in the sky knowing that this conjunction is trine Pluto.

Yes, this is the perfect time to observe the effect on the market and for yourself to see if this Venus-Jupiter-Pluto combination 'touches' your chart (Sun, Moon, MC, Ascendant, progressed Sun, progressed Moon: whatever near 9.35 degree of the fixed signs or in Capricorn or Virgo, for example or if you like: try the semi- and sesquisquares*).

Chart of colonel Tom Parker, Quaoar and Elvis

Remember Colonel Tom Parker, who was in fact Dries van Kuijk, a Dutchman who left his past and family behind when he moved to the USA? This post is about the chart of Tom Parker, that you can see when you scroll down. In short, Tom Parker was a man with a lot of self confidence leading to success and a focuss on money, power and influence who had difficult personal relations (and was not very popular). He also had a talent for being a manager. He was the manager of Elvis Presley. The singer and his manager influenced each other's lives. It is easy to see in the synastry between their charts...

SYNASTRY

Tom Parker's Quaoar*) is precisely inconjunct the Sun of Elvis. Elvis created a completely new world for Tom Parker, who had Quaoar trine Midheaven. But there was little balance in the way that the new world of Tom Parker was connected to the life and lifestyle of Elvis.

QUAOAR AND URANUS
Elvis’ talents made him a millionaire. Tom Parker used to say that it was his influence that made Elvis a millionaire. Of course, he was important at the start of Elvis' career. Fact is, that the Ascendant/MC of Elvis is square the Midheaven of Tom Parker. That shows us how the essence of being Elvis was related to the position of Tom Parker. Also Elvis’ Jupiter (symbol of prosperity) is square the natal Quaoar of Tom Parker. That tells us that Elvis had a positive influence in creating a new world for Parker. Elvis' Quaoar receives a trine from Tom Parker's Uranus: that means that Tom Parker was the spark to create Elvis' new world. They changed each other's lives.

NEPTUNE-SUN
Parker's Neptune is opposition the Sun of Elvis. That means that there was little reality in the way that they saw each other. See Cafe Astrology about this synastry aspect....

CHART OF THE COLONEL

Success is written all over Tom Parker's chart! Sun, Jupiter and Pluto are the most important objects. Here is the chart, with the positions on the day of birth of Elvis Presley on the outside.

Tom Parker's Pluto rises before the Sun, reflecting the importance of power and money. Pluto doesn't make major aspects in sign or orb 5 degrees. I use to name that a 'calling' Pluto. The fact that there is no major connection with the rest of the chart allows the planet to function at any kind of level. That important Pluto is quintile the angular Jupiter, the dispositor of Midheaven. It means that he was able to find creative ways to a successful position in society with a focus on money and influence at any possible level. It made him a rich man. The combination of success is prominent in his chart: there are a calling Jupiter, Pluto AND Sun. The unaspected Sun points at leadership and drawing attention.

MANAGEMENT
The Sun is quintile Saturn and Saturn trine MC for drawing attention in a creative way, managing to be in charge in a professional way. The Pluto of Parker is trine the Saturn of Elvis, who had Saturn inconjunct Pluto. Maybe that was a warning for bad influences. The fact that they shared a Saturn-Pluto aspect and that there was a connection between their charts, might point at problems with management and control in general, with Tom Parker stepping into the gap.

COMMUNICATIONS
He also was a good liar and communicator: Mercury makes major and minor aspects with all other positions in the chart, including a 15d distance with the Sun and a binovile with Jupiter, a 75 d aspect with the Ascendant (if the B time of Astrodatabank is correct).

FAMILY
When he emigrated to the USA transit Uranus was square his natal Sun and the progressed Sun was semisquare Jupiter, which is a combination for a positive change. Two years earlier his progressed Sun was conjunct Venus and later square Saturn, so maybe a sad love story made him decide to leave the country and the past behind. But there is another possibility: avoiding military service! Later, in 1948, he was given the honorary title of 'Colonel'.

Well, nobody knows why he was such a secretive person, but the Moon opposition Saturn and square Neptune and Uranus, in the equal eight house mirrors the ill relationship with his relatives. As the Moon is afflicted and in Libra, he would feel the need for company, but there was that wall...(see the post about Moon-Saturn aspects).

QUAOAR
I suppose that he was born 4 to 5 minutes earlier than 11, because when he started to work with Elvis Presley in 1955 the progressed Midheaven was at 2.1 Aquarius in the 11 0'clock chart. A little earlier and transit Chiron would have crossed the Midheaven that recently would have changed sign. It was with the progressed Sun inconjunct Mars, so maybe it was not the best period in life for Tom Parker. The progressed Sun would soon be inconjunct Uranus, too. His life would change in a disproportionate way. But, in April 1954 the progressed Sun was conjunct Quaoar! That is when a new period in his life started, the creation of a brand new world that would bring him into contact with Elvis Presley. He opened a booking agency in Nashville, TN!

Right now, Tom Parker alias Dries van Kuijk has transit Pluto opposition and transit Saturn square natal Sun. Maybe someone is investigating his life story?
