José Mujica, his chart and his exceptional habits

The end of José Mujica's career was near when transit Saturn was opposition his natal Sun and Pluto inconjunct his progressed Sun. Now he can go on living like he used to, in a modest 80m2 house without any luxury with a 3 legged dog and a very old Beetle. Uranus rises before his Sun and is 'calling' (not aspected)! This VIP Uranus is a sign of being a rebel, being different, somehow, or wanting to make changes and in fact: he is a 'different' person willing to make changes.

There is an important place for the Moon conjunct Galactic Centre, on the Descendant and inconjunct Pluto. Moon inconjunct Pluto is an important aspect in his chart, as both the Moon and Pluto don't make any aspect in orb 5 degree except for the quincunx between them. The aspect refers to submissive (see: http://astropost.blogspot.nl/2009/04/effect-of-moon-inconjunct-pluto.html ) and forced behavior. The intensity of habits make it difficult to change, even for a leader (Sun without aspects is 'calling' for attention and the starring role) and even for a revolutionary person when it is about systems and the 'people'. In a way, it is a problem to have a Moon-Pluto in conjunction, because you have problems with adjusting. The Moon is Out of Bounds and that points at a key role for emotions, habits, popularity.
Mercury and Venus are also OOB.

With Moon and Uranus as the most important objects (Moon on DC and calling, Uranus rising before Sun and calling) with Sun and Pluto as second best, this chart is the chart of an unusual very devoted and strict  rebel who is a leading authority.

Sun/Moon midpoint in Pisces explains the reigning need for belief systems and ideologies, even more because this midpoint is opposition Neptune. He is being motivated by ideals and a true believer.
A special aspect is Venus in Cancer trine Saturn. Isn't that a perfect symbol of the love of simplicity and economy? But what to do with Venus/Pluto midpoint square Midheaven? Money is strongly related to his status, but in a different way than usual because of his ideals.

People adore him for his simple and unusual way of live. The midpoint Jupiter/Neptune on the IC tells us about the fans and followers of Mujica.

Virgo astrologer Edith Wangemann

Edith Wangemann was born August 29, 1917 in Germany. Together with her husband, and after his death alone, she practiced and studied astrology. She was married to an astrologer (Helmuth Wangemann). A picture shows that he knew Reinhold Ebertin. I have no idea how they made a living.

Astro.com mentions the couple's scientific approach. In her chart this might be mirrored by the position of their Saturn, rising before the natal Sun. This post is about the astrologer in her chart and about the way that Sun in Virgo shows up.

ASTROLOGER AND JUPITER+URANUS
Cosmic awareness is perhaps one of the best descriptions for Jupiter/Uranus midpoints and aspects. This aspect- or midpoint combination for the helicopter view is always present in the charts of astrologers (and astronauts). Maybe even also in the charts of astronomers, LOL.
It's also the midpoint of being inventive and the transit of 'sudden windfall'. Maybe, in the case of astrologers, the windfall is less 'unexpected':)...

There is also a Jupiter/Uranus connection in the chart of Edith Wangemann.
In the chart of Edith Wangemann midpoint Jupiter/Uranus is square Midheaven. The natal Sun is square Jupiter in Gemini*) and in quindecile (165d) aspect with the 'calling' VIP Uranus.  Her Sun/Moon midpoint semi square Mercury indicates that she was very motivated to communicate about her main interest (astrology).

Aries astrologer Joan Quigley

It is April 10, the birthday of Joan Quigley, one of the most noted astrologer's in the USA, because she was Nancy Reagan's private astrologer since 1973 (her progressed Midheaven trine her natal Uranus). Astrodatabank mentions that unsuccessfully tried to start a dot.com business in 2001 (with Progressed MC semi square Pluto and progressed Sun square Uranus).  She is 87 now and the transits of Uranus, Pluto and Jupiter all hit her progressed Sun lately.

The importance of the angular Mercury, the angular Jupiter and the 'calling' Uranus*) would already point at the 'helicopter view mind' that is required to study (Mercury) astrology (Jupiter-Uranus), but also shows how important communications (Mercury), techniques (Uranus) and guidance (Jupiter) are in her life, apart from family matters (Ceres).   The Aries Sun shows enterprise and the Leo Moon is for the glamour. Being the advisor of USA's First Lady is of course something to be proud of. The cool Virgo Ascendant is trine Venus, corresponding with the fact that she was pretty. Perhaps Sun in 8 inconjunct Ascendant shows us that she was 'a star' in the eyes of many, but (inconjunct = 'but') exaggerated, or at the cost of her own lifestyle.

Her Pluto is conjunct the Sun of Nancy Reagan, whose Saturn is inconjunct the Sun of Joan Quigley and opposition Quigley's Jupiter. So there is a Sun Saturn side for Nancy Reagan and a Sun Jupiter Pluto side for Joan Quigley, corresponding with the fact that the relationship was a success for the astrologer while people mocked Nancy Reagan for consulting an astrologer (even Barack Obama did).

Well, let's not be sad about the lack of appreciation and let's find the astrology in her chart that you see here with transits and progressions for today, her birthday.

1. Uranus is 'calling' (no aspects in 5 dg orb or in sign) and rising before the Sun + at Aries Point.
2. Jupiter is opposition Ascendant.
So both Jupiter and Uranus are important

Midpoint Jupiter/Uranus is in the 25th degree of Pisces, square Mars in X (and square the Galactic Center)

I also like Neptune/Pluto midpoint semi square Midheaven for the discretion that was required in her position.

It is Aries time, time for the chart of an Aries astrologer. In 2008 I wrote about the chart of Dane Rudhyar, born March 23, 1895. I mentioned the creative quintiles, the musician and the astrologer in his chart. There is always Jupiter-Uranus in charts of astrologers and they were generous with Jupiter-Uranus combinations when Dave Rudhyar was born. Quoting myself:

 " In the chart of Rudhyar we see the Moon in Aquarius trine Jupiter, the combination of the calling Uranus and the ascendant in Sagittarius, but most of all the midpoint combinations with Jupiter and Uranus as an indication for the metier.

b. a 'calling' planet is a planet without major (Ptolemaic) aspects in sign or orb 5 degrees. These planets show up at any kind of level, somehow and anyhow.

Mars, Uranus and Paul Walker

The tragic death of Paul Walker reminds me of James Dean and the fiery car accidents (Michael Hastings and Dick van Dyke) earlier this year, but most of all of Mars-Uranus. Paul Walker, sadly enough, is another example of what Mars-Uranus can mean if the aspect is mean. 

On the day that he was born, Mars and Uranus didn't make a Ptolemaic aspect in sign or orb 5 degrees. Mars and Uranus were important in his chart. They were sort of 'calling' him to be as fast and furious as he could be. In the progressed chart the Sun was between an opposition with Mars and a conjunction with Uranus. At the day of the accident we see transit Uranus semi sextile Mars. He was an actor. With Sun in a 75 degree minor aspect with Neptune there is always the chance or risk to identify yourself with the part that you play in a movie or in a political theatre. 

There is no hour of birth, so there is little more to say except that there was a Mars-Jupiter conflict and the progressed Sun was changing sign and maybe I could add some more, but in my eyes most important is that when you have an important Mars-Uranus aspect, or when Mars and Uranus are both important in your chart, you should perhaps better avoid to drive fast on a transit Mars-Uranus day. I know that it is not easy to avoid aspects (I even planned a renovation and redecoration of the house during Venus retrograde, as a sort of a test person:). And maybe it is even impossible to do. 

It takes more than one aspect and one transit for a young person to die this way. Without hour of birth we'll never know what they were. 

Here above is the chart of his day of birth with transits and progresssions (click to get larger picture). I like to add that his Libra Venus trine Saturn and Mars in Taurus attributed to his good looks (see http://astropost.blogspot.nl/2008/09/male-attraction-venus-saturn-taurus-and.html ). He was a model and an actor.

PS the latest news: a mechanical defect could be the cause of the accident with the Porsche. The excellent driver couldn't avoid it as there was a fuel disorder.

The killer in the chart of day of birth of Beate Zschäpe

Beate Zschäpe is a neo-Nazi, accused of taking part in the murder of 10 persons. Eight of them where Turkish owners of restaurants. That is why the case is named 'Döner' murders.' (see Wiki)

Where is the killer in her chart? 
Before I answer that question, read this: a chart is not an order coming from the stars. There is no 'Befehl ist Befehl'. You, limited or stimulated by your genes, social-economic situation, gender and education, are the one who makes the ultimate choices what to do with your potentials and talents. You weigh and choose right from wrong.

There is another point to take into account. There is also an astrological difference between those who were born on the same day. They were born at a different moment and in a different place. Charts are the pictures of the sky at a moment in time and place, seen from earth. Narrow aspects are always shared by those who were born on the same day (except those with Moon, MC or Ascendant).
Here are the narrow aspects for January 2, 1975.

1. Mars-Uranus
Like in more cases of terrorist acts, this is the chart of someone with a prominent Mars (rising before the Sun) afflicted by the 'calling'* Uranus (semi square). NA Uranus wants to change the world somehow, anyhow and apparently no matter how.
Mars-Uranus acts hastily and speedy. It is the aspect of the short fuse and the explosive nature. She was involved in bomb attacks, too...

2. Mars-Saturn-Pluto
There is also the combination of unnatural death (Mars-Saturn-Pluto) that is so frequent in cases of (involvement in) murder and suicide. We see Mars inconjunct Saturn and semi sesquisquare (67.5d) Pluto.
You don't have to murder or be murdered with such an aspect combination, but if you are in a dangerous situation it might be easier for you to be in danger or to be causing dangerous situations. See the labels and links for more examples.

3. in Uranus-Pluto
Her prominent Uranus is half semi square her Pluto. Uranus is now, in 2013, square Pluto. Revolt is in her chart and in the air, right now. Possibly Mars, Uranus and/or Pluto hold an important position on one of the angles.

4. Sun-Saturn (afflicted and weak in Cancer)
The Sun is opposite Saturn in this chart. I will soon publish an article on Sun-Saturn, with examples of those with a Sun-Saturn hard aspect who didn't have a normal relationship with the father. Beate never knew him. There is Sun-Mars-Saturn combination that links life to death ends AND there is that Mars-Saturn-Pluto combination for the danger of death ends.

This is an assertive woman (Mars rises before the Sun). She is also explosive (Mars-Uranus) and ambitious (Sun-Saturn) but she never studied or tried to make a career...

PROGRESSIONS AND TRANSITS

 In 1991 she joined a neo-Nazi party with transit Pholus opposite Progressed Sun, symbol for a turning point in life. Today she has transit Pluto on her Sun, for stress.

CHARTS

Here are the charts of the DOB of the woman, with transits and progressions for the day of the first (they think) murder and for the day of the start of the trial. Above is the picture of the demonstration in   München in remembrance of the victims.

BORN SAME DAY

Venus in Capricorn doesn't make major aspects in sign or orb 5 degrees. That is a statement for the importance of beauty, sympathy or sympathizers (...) and of charm or diplomacy. Venus calling CAN help when you want to make something nice or beautiful. We may not see that in what she did and how she did it... Others born on January 2, 1975 used this potential talent!

Mars-Uranus is great for accelerating, like in sports.

Mars-Saturn-Pluto is great for tough sports, where you need to be a 'die hard', like with rugby. There is no need to be a killer when you were born on January 2, 1975.  Like always, you need to see the composition of planets, signs and aspect related to the social, cultural and genetical situation.

Astrology of Alfred Dreyfus' case

In some cases 'good' and 'fortunate' aspects or ' benefics' like Jupiter don't seem to help. Or do they?
I found the case of Alfred Dreyfus (October 9, 1859), whose worst and better days were reflected by a variety of aspects.  Those aspects don't seem to give a simple and clear answer to the question: what happened and was it nice? After studying the astrology case of Dreyfus, I think that :
a. transits and progressions of/with prominent natal planets are more important than other transits and progressions
b. trines and Jupiter are not always beneficial at first sight (but they are, given the circumstances)

DREYFUS CASE
It was in the 19th century in France when Alfred Dreyfus was accused of treason. In fact he had been framed. It was easier to blame him, because of Anti-Semitic sentiments (Dreyfus was Jewish).

Here is the chart with transits and progressions of the day of the arrest:

There is transit Neptune trine the Sun and Transit Jupiter opposition progressed Midheaven with transit Uranus inconjunct Progressed Ascendant on the day of his arrest. A trine, Jupiter and that inconjunct Uranus... It looks as if the latter was the most important. He lost his freedom and it took 7 years to be freed of all charges. How did the trines and Jupiter 'help'? He was supported by Emile Zola who started an international campaign. Zola's Jupiter was in hard aspect with Dreyfus' midpoint Sun/Moon. Dreyfus' Mercury was opposition the Sun of Zola, who set the spotlights on his case. They shared a Sun-Neptune aspect (Zola the sextile, Dreyfus the quatronovile).


NATAL CHART
His chart corresponds with what we know about him.
a. He was a soldier.  We see that possibility in the positions of Mars and Saturn.
Mars rises before the Sun for orientation on arms, activism, action and energy. Before Mars is Saturn and Saturn is 'calling' (duty, responsibility and hierarchy at any possible level). The combination of Mars and Saturn is the combination of discipline (and being disciplined).
b. He lost his freedom.
Both Saturn and Uranus don't make major aspects in sign or orb 5 degrees.  As these planets are what I name 'calling', the issue of 'breaking free' and 'restricted freedom' will be demonstrated at any possible level, somehow and anyhow.
c. Commotion and upheaval were definitely part of his career (Uranus-MC), but on the other hand he also apparently was an outsider (Uranus) among the officers.
d. In my opinion a distance of 127.5 degrees between objects in the chart, is an important distance. In this chart that is the distance between Sun and Uranus. The Sun-Uranus combination is nice for an individualist, but in a group it is often difficult not to become 'the outsider'.
e. Sun is quatronovile Neptune.
f. Mercury is quatronovile Neptune, too! There are many cases of Mercury-Neptune accusations on this blog. See the links.

A quatronovile is 4x a novile and 160 degrees. A trine is 3x40 degrees. Noviles are supposed to be 'harmonious' aspects. I think that harmonious aspects refer to smooth relationships between objects in the chart.

OCTOBER 15 1894: arrest
1. Sun-Neptune
As quatronoviles are 4x40 and trines are 3x40 they are suppused to be 'friendly', 'easy' or 'harmonic'. Use the labels to find examples of the contrary! Trine and noviles, sextiles and binoviles or quatronoviles make it easy to relate one planet to another, or in this case: the Sun and Neptune. It makes it easy to be seen (Sun) in a diffuse light (Neptune). This can be done as a hero or an angel. It can also be done the negative way.
That happened when transit Neptune was trine his natal Sun. It was easy to place him in a negative light. This transit resonated the 'sound' of Sun quatronovile Neptune. He was being framed with transit Neptune trine Sun.
2. Progressed Ascendant inconjunct transit Uranus 
Inconjunct (loss) Uranus (freedom).
3. Progressed Midheaven opposition Jupiter (is this fair? that is the question of opposition Jupiter)
Jupiter symbolizes support. He got support. Emile Zola even risked prison for him! Zola's Jupiter is semi square the midpoint Sun/Moon of Dreyfus and that helps!

Maybe, if there was not Jupiter-Midheaven things had been worse for Dreyfus and he would have been convicted without anyone asking questions. And maybe even the trine of Neptune helped:an idealist and artist voluntarily helped him. Neptune, at best, is the symbol of idealism, art, belief and all that we do without gain.
Remember that Uranus is 'calling' in the natal chart! That increases the importance of transits of Uranus.

SEPTEMBER 19, 1899
He was pardonned and released out of prison on September 19, 1899. It is nice for the case of astrology that that was the day that transit Uranus was exactly conjunct his Midheaven. He got his freedom back, conditions changed and of course he was in a nervous state. The transit of Uranus was so important for Dreyfus because in the natal chart Uranus is opposition Midheaven. It means that something that is already an issue in life, is being activated.

JULY 13, 1902: free of all charges

Watch the trine of transit Jupiter with natal Sun! That is a classical happy transit. This transit was leading! You see, there is also transit Pholus inconjunct Progressed MC, symbolizing a turning point in the development of the career, with a loss involved. He could return to the army, the place where he had been framed. (Pholus was in hard aspect with transit Node and transit Chiron). What he lost were more than 7 years of his life, spent in very nasty conditions. The pain is illustrated by transit Mars sesquisquare Midheaven. But Jupiter ruled!

SO

When he got back all that he lost, transit Jupiter was trine the Sun. Jupiter rules the 10th house.
When he was arrested there was P MC opposite Jupiter, so P IC conjunct Jupiter.


When he was arrested, there was Neptune trine Sun.
In the end - free at last, cleared of all charges - he had the confusing transit of Neptune opposition Sun/Moon midpoint. He got the rank of Major later, but his health had suffered because of the years in prison.

The Russian in the chart of Gerard Depardieu

Gerard Depardieu is a Russian now. The Frenchman first moved to Belgium, as a sort of a tax refugee. Then he asked for the Russian nationality and he got it. In the natal chart Uranus is in an important position, on the Descendant, inconjunct the Moon and 'calling' (not making major aspects in sign or orb 5 degrees). Uranus is the symbol of change, controversy, rebellion and being different.

MOON INCONJUNCT URANUS
With Moon inconjunct Uranus the need to make a difference and be 'special' involves a loss. Sasstrology.com offers a complete article about the emotional detachment mirrored by Moon-Uranus. It is a long way from Chateauroux to Saransk.
With Moon-Uranus you are sort of used to be an emotional outsider. I see this aspect in the charts of observers. Example: dr. Phil and... mr. Putin. I am curious about the relationship between Putin and Depardieu, sharing a Moon-Uranus aspect! From what I write on Astromarkt I should advice mr. Depardieu not to move to Russia. They are better friends when they are apart:).

Robert Freegard, Thierry Tilly and astrology

This blog is about the striking similarities in the charts of two conmen with a sort of a similar way to control a group of persons by imposing as a hero who is saving their endangered lives. It is an amazing story! But even more amazing is, that their Astro ID*) look so much alike! On the days that they were born the same planet (Mars) rises before the Sun and they also share four not aspected ('calling') planets (Sun, Mars, Saturn and Uranus).

Thierry Tilly, a French conman, has been sentenced to 8 years in prison this week. I read a few lines of his story and I immediately thought of Robert Freegard. In 2009 I wrote about master conman Robert Freegard. This young man managed to keep a group of students under control for more than 10 years (!!!) by imposing as a sort of a James Bond. They would only be safe as they did what he told them to do and remained isolated from the rest of society. They were poor, lonely and sad for years. It is an incredible story for those who were not part of that group.
Freegard was born March 1, 1971.

Thierry Tilly, his French counterpart, was born on March 29, 1964. He controlled a rich French family of aristocrats. In 10 years time he got 4,5 million euro to save them from ' evil'. There are links below for those who wonder how he did that.  It is unbelievable that he succeeded, but he did.
I find it interesting that it isn't just the crime that has the same ingredients! Here is the picture of the positions on their days of birth and a list of similarities.

Robert Freegard and Thierry Tilly share some of their Astro I.D.:

1. Sun 'calling' (no major aspects in sign or orb 5 degrees). That makes them 'leading'. They draw attention and are in the center of it in any possible way.  They have strong ego's. People born on March 1, 1971 or March 29, 1964 want to be 'seen'.

2. Mars is also 'calling'. That is for the workaholic and the person whose energy can reach any possible level (up or down).

3. Mars rises before the Sun. That means that they have an orientation on action. People with such a position of Mars tend to be aggressive, assertive and 'do-ers'. They are the activists and the driven kind of people.

4. Saturn is 'calling' for ambition at any level.

5. Uranus is 'calling', too. Add this to Saturn and what you get is the issue of limited freedom or breaking free. They both saw prison from inside.


Robert Freegard and Thierry Tilly are both active and driven 'leaders' with an issue: they wanted to cross borders. And they did!

FANTASY WORLD
Interesting is, that Freegard is a Pisces and that Tilly has un unaspected Neptune. It takes at least SOME fantasy to create a new reality for others.
Tilly also has Sun quindecile Quaoar (an obsession regarding creating a new world). Freegard was only 21 when he started his 'game' in a period of Progressed Sun semi square Saturn and conjunct Pallas.
Tilly was already 34/35 in 1999, when he met one of the family members and was introduced in the family, during Progressed Sun trine Pluto. It was 'game over' in 2009, with Progressed Sun inconjunct Quaoar (lost brave new world:) and Transit Neptune square Progressed Sun (isolation, confusion).

DISCLAIMER
Of course not everybody born on the same day as these conmen are cons! There are many ways to break free, be in the center of attention etcetera.  Gender, genes, social position and culture, together with the chart (with hour of birth) produce a variety of possible characters and lives.

It is thought provoking that two persons born on different days with an almost completely similar Astro ID did the same thing and that not everybody born on their days of birth did that same thing. Two sides of a coin?

Mary Ann Nichols day of birth: Sun Uranus!

Mary Ann Nichols was a Virgo, born with Venus, Uranus and Sun without major aspects in sign or orb 5 degrees. In her chart, Venus, Uranus and Sun were ' calling'. A calling Sun is the symbol if the ego, drawing attention somehow, anyhow. It is the sun of a Star, a leader or a VIP and sometimes of a person that we all know. Sun, Venus and Uranus... With a pleasant Ascendant and in our days she might have become a model. 

Unfortunately, she was a very very common working class , mother of 5, alcoholic and a prostitute sometimes, in the 19th century. That is how she drew the attention of Jack the Ripper. He murdered this Virgo on  August 31 1988. That was with transit Uranus conjunct her progressed Sun. She really had an extrordinary way to be in the spotlights... And as I may assume: involuntarily! 

The reason for this post is that she died 124 years ago and that her story is a good example of the double impact of a natal aspect being sort of repeated by transit and/or progression, especially when both of the objects involved are 'calling'. In this case and in her situation you could read this Sun biquintile Uranus/transit Uranus on Progressed Sun as a warning, a sort of an alarm bell ringing. Some sort of 'surprise' was about to happen and what never would have happened, became a reality: she was News (Uranus).

If she hadn't been an alcoholic, she wouldn't have left home and family to sell her body and she wouldn't have met her mysterious killer. What aspect can we blame for that, in a chart without hour of birth? I think of Mars conjunt Neptune and transit Neptune so close to a square with natal Sun, isolating her, making her weak enough to become a victim... I also think of the Moon, rising before the sun, indicating the importance of habits. There may be many more reasons in her individual chart with hour of birth. But in fact, the only way to be mentioned in history books, in her case, was not what she did when she lived, but how she died. And she died because she drew attention of the wrong kind of man. And that is one if the ways to translate a Uranus-Sun conflict. 

Mary Ann Nichols was born on August 26, 1845 in London.

Buddy Holly was one of the earliest pop idols and born on September 7, 1936. He died, too young, in an air crash. This blog is about his chart, transits and progressions.

MARS+URANUS: Hurry

There are indications for possible accidents in the natal chart. Transits resonated those indications on his final day, when he was in a hurry, on tour, and decided to take a plane instead of a (slow and old) bus. 

Mars and Uranus are the combination of the 'short fuse' and accelerates speed. In the chart of Buddy Holly, Mars and Uranus are prominent. Here is the chart (transits and progressions for the day of his death):

1. Mars

Mars rises before his Sun, is in the 8th house and rules the 4th house.

Mars is inconjunct Saturn (ruler 1)

2. Uranus is 'calling' (not making major aspects in sign or orb 5 degrees).

Uranus is square Mars/Pluto.

The importance of Mars and Uranus qualifies the importance of being in a hurry.

MARS-SATURN

A besides about Mars-Saturn: I recently 'survived' transit Saturn inconjunct Progressed Mars. My Mars is 'calling' (my progressed Mars is not). It have been days of a tetanus injection and antibiotics because of infection, and I have seen the doctor more than once, but I didn't die (obviously:). More important: nobody in my family died. Mars and Saturn are trine in my chart (out of sign). They are not related to the 4th or 8th house. 

I quote Art&Astrology (blog about the talent in the chart):

On the day of his death, transit Saturn was sesquisquare his Mars (frustrating end of energy) and at the moment of the crash transit Uranus was 75 degrees from his midheaven (a shock), with transit Neptune septile Sun and biquintile Moon (perhaps unconsciousness). These are not uncommon aspects. But in HIS chart Mars happened to be an important symbol of death, being activated too soon.

DEATH

Here above is the chart of Buddy Holly, with transits and progressions for the final day. There are a number of tight aspects. Some are an indication of what happened. We see Mars-Saturn (dead end), 8th house (life and death) and 4th house. Three of those tight aspects are related to the 8th house. Two of them to the 4th house. Mars-Saturn is already indicating a possible end of energy. The combination of Pluto, Mars and Saturn shows the danger of death. There are 4 aspects between planets, lights or objects making aspects in the natal chart, too. Those are strong aspects.

Big events take at leats 3 or more important transits and progressions. Accidents are most often complicated and caused by more than 1 simple mistake or failure. As you see, it takes a lot of transits and progressions to mark the end of the life of a 22 year old artist...And there are at least 4 strong indications of danger. The 3 inconjunctions complete the picture of loss. Here is the list.

• Transit Neptune is semi sextile Progressed Sun and 15 degrees from Progressed Midheaven. In the natal chart Neptune is in the 8th house of life and death and Neptune is conjunct Sun (also in the 8th house
• Transit Chiron is square Progressed Midheaven
• Transit Saturn is within 1 degree orb inconjunct Progressed Ascendant and transit Pluto is inconjunct Ascendant (orb 17 minutes). The midpoint of Saturn and Pluto is square Progressed Ascendant
• Transit Jupiter is inconjunct IC (cusp 4th house). Jupiter rules the 12th house of undoing and is the symbol of traveling. In the natal chart Jupiter is semi square Midheaven.
• Transit Uranus is 75 degrees from natal Midheaven. Uranus is in the 4th house (natal)
• Progressed Sun is semi square Progressed Midheaven. Sun rules the 8th house. In the natal chart Sun is semi square Midheaven
• Transit Pluto is on the midpoint Mars/Saturn and in the 8th house.
• And last but not least:Transit Saturn is sesquisquare natal Mars (in the 8th house). Mars is inconjunct Saturn in the natal chart

PHOLUS

One more thing: Pholus is on the Ascendant in the natal chart and Pholus is novile the Midheaven. The midpoint AC/MC is semi square Pholus. Pholus is the symbol of the turning point. He had a turbulent and short life. But he is also a legend. On Astromarkt I wrote about AC/MC with Pholus:

He had a contract in 1956 (transit Neptune conjunct Midheaven and Progressed Sun soon conjunct Venus, progressed Midheaven square Mars, Progressed Ascendant inconjunct Mars and almost opposition Uranus).
