Happy New Year! It has been a great party, and now we will soon have to get to work as usual. There is still something 'spectaculair' on the horizon, however. Perhaps you are able to see a glimpse of the upcoming partial eclipse 13 North (in th3 14th degree of Capricorn) when you are on the way to school or office in Northern Europe...The event can't be seen in the USA. For more info, see Nasa...Here is the chart (for Greenwich time and place), something about the eclipse and more about astrologer Jonathan Caine, who was on television last night (or was it this morning?:) with a forecast of 2011. Just continue for more...
They say that if your Sun, Moon or Ascendant is in the 14th of Capricorn, you might 'feel' the eclipse or experience some special change in the idea of 13 North, like the lunar eclipse of December 21 (see the post about that eclipse and the winter solstice). This 13 North again and 13 North is about groups, families, being separated first and achieving a lot together later. Well, it must be a rather good feeling, conjunct the beneficial fixed star Ascella and with Jupiter almost exactly conjunct Uranus in the 28th of Pisces.
|Birth chart, transits and progressions for J. Caine
Yesterday I saw that Jonathan Caine (link to his site) explained Jupiter conjunct Uranus on television and how positive his expectations were for 2011. He is one of the few astrologers on television and he knows how to communicate about itJ. His Mercury is ‘calling’ and that points at communicating, somehow, anyhow….Here is the chart of Caine, with transits and progressions:
The inconjunction with Uranus and 75 degrees from Jupiter connects Mercury to the ‘ helicopter view’-combiation that is so frequent in the charts of astrologers. Also, his Sun in Sagittarius is sextile Jupiter and sesquisquare Uranus. All astrologers that I know of have a Jupiter-Uranus combination in their chart, which provides them with this ‘helicopter view’.
With Jupiter and Neptune on either side of Midheaven fans and followers and a ‘devoted audience’ is almost a guarantee.
BTW The Jupiter/Uranus conjunction of the Eclipse is square his natal Sun and trine the midpoint AC/MC. That might have the effect of a relief or positive change and could be fortunate for his work in astrology. With many of us, I hope that his prognosis for the Jupiter-Uranus and Pluto effect will come true. Jupiter-Uranus tends to make you feel full of hope. The conjunction was square my natal Venus and I had a surprisingly nice 31st of December and a nice start of the New Year, even though I didn't win the lottery (again:( :)...

I wish you all a splendid 2011!
